The owner was extremely helpful and friendly! It was my first time using a bath station for my 75lb Pyre x pitt who is a bit of a handful in the bath because of her size (and she doesn't like water or baths). Donna walked us through the room and amenities including the new shampoos which smelled great. Everything seemed brand new and extremely clean. I liked that the water hose was pretty quiet because that can scare Juno too. The waterproof aprons, grooming tools, and extra absorbent towels were a great touch too. We will be coming back!!! I cannot recommend PawStand (and Dr J) enough. My dog was hit by a car and needed surgery on his back leg and hip, and his limb was tight and shortened because of this. He hadn't walked in many weeks, and was so sad. Dr J is fabulous with dogs and my dog Ralph was very comfortable and confident with her. The surgeon said it might be many months before he'd use that limb again and he got him walking in such a short time, with big improvement each visit. I'm forever thankful to the PawStand and Dr J for getting Ralph back to his old self. Also a great store and staff, with lots of cute treats, toys, leashes, etc. read more

I was visiting friends in the area and since I'm a sucker for local shops, I decided to check this place out with my pup. I loved that they offer a self-service dog wash. They have two rooms for dogs bigger than tea-cup size and charge $18. Towels, dryer, all the products you could need are included and they give you treats. The bath has a collar so you don't have to worry about getting your collar/harness wet. And I loved the easy temperature settings. They also have a wash station for tea-cup sized dogs for $14. After the wash, we spent way too much time browsing and trying to buy the whole store. They have dog foods/treats from all the local places you could possibly want. I loved their selection of safe and healthy chews. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They were great about making recommendations without being pushy. In addition to foods, they have other pet product basics (harnesses, bowls, poop bags, accessories, clothes). Overall, I would definitely recommend the PawStand and will definitely be returning if I'm in the area! read more

Lovely dog wash - easy to use and well organized. Hair can easily hide in the corners of the room so be careful when drying your pet with the blower...i got some fur (not from my dog) flying around the room and getting in my eyes. But the service and products are great otherwise! read more

Washed my dog here for the first time last week. Everything was very easy. PawStand provide shampoos, conditioners, blow dryers, etc. I gave myself a bath since this was my first time, but for $20 bucks it's definitely worth it to have a stink free dog. The Paw Stand is nice because it's located right by Well Pet Humane Vet Clinic. I often come here while waiting in line for my puppies. They offer a wide variety of specialty foods, raw dog food, and dried freeze. The staff always gives great recommendations for different products to try. This place also offer spa service for your fur babies. You can bring ur small-xl size babies to their spa rooms where there are tubs and hoses and different shampoos for your babies. read more

How excellent is this place? Dr J has made a huge difference in my dog's life. He goes to walk on the water treadmill and get laser treatments. His rear legs were weak and now they are working well and very muscular. He walks with confidence. It's easy to see that he looks forward for he treatments by the way we runs into the tank and kisses Dr J when he's done. Have sent friends and everyone's dog has had incredible results. What a nice place. I picked up a puppy from the airport who was a bit stinky and the other place I was supposed to go to told me to check shots and then call back. When I did the next day she then told me they we are sold out. This place told us to head over and it was on a first come basis. We walked up and they cleaned up the last guest and we were ready to go. The staff was super nice and they had all sorts of extras you can pick up. Wow...where to begin?? My hubby were in town visiting family when we decided that my stinky dogs needed a bath. We had just driven with them from San Antonio, TX to Atlanta, GA and that's a grand total of 16 hours folks ( of course with stop in between). Where I'm from, we generally bathe our dogs at a local "resort" that has a self service station. I haven't lived in Atlanta for over a decade and I just figured that we would go to the local Petco because I thought they all had self service bath stations. Boy, was I wrong. When I went into the grooming department, the lady behind the counter looked at me funny and told me that a simple bath would take 2 hours and it's by appt only. Luckily, there was a girl that was inquiring about something for her dog and overhead me. She mentioned Pawstand to me and we had 1 hour to get therefore it closed. We made it there (from Steve Reynolds) in about 20 mins and didn't know what to expect with the shopping center that it was located in. As soon as we got there, we unloaded the pups and made our way inside. I was like OH MAN...we entered a pet boutique but then we were greeted by a sweet lady who advised us that they did have a self service dog station. We walked into the room and holy moly..I was impressed and have never seen such a beautiful, nice, clean, and well equipped facility before. I felt like my dogs were in a legit puppy spa! The tubs that they were in were nice, drained well, and the use the best puppy products (Earthbath!). After we gave both the pups a bath we ended up dropping a ton of money on random snacks, nose blame, edibles (yup, they have them for dogs and cats), and other randomness. I wish something like this was in San Antonio. Regardless, I'm sure we'll be back when we're back in GA. read more

This was my first experience at a self-dog wash, and PawStand set the bar high. Everyone was SUPER FRIENDLY. The dog wash rooms were very clean and cute, with everything someone would ever need to groom their pup (excluding nail clippers). I honestly felt bad there was hair in the tub I did my best to clean it but I guess that's part of paying to use someone else's tub;) I went because my basset/beagle is on a bathing regimen that requires her to soak for 10 minutes with her prescription soap, their tub made that a very easy task. Additionally, I didn't feel rushed since my visit required her to soak and for me to bathe my other fur baby. We left with some yummy treats and I look forward to returning to earn a free wash and adventure the store further! read more

I love this place. So did my pupper. It was beautiful and sparkling clean. So many services and yummy treats, according to my pup. The service was outstanding. We opted to use their bathing services. It was so nice. We had our own little room. They provided everything we needed. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, dryer, apron. I did ask the owner about installing hooks/leashes on the wall to help control the fur babies who are a bit energetic during bath time. I can't imagine life without the PawStand! Our dog was diagnosed with a chicken allergy that was causing him all kinds of health issues. Have you tried to find dog food at Publix or Costco that DOESN'T have chicken in it? Good luck. We wandered into the PawStand and found a bevy of non-chicken options for our sweet pup. A couple months on the Zignature duck dog food and our pup was healthier, happier, and sporting a shinier coat. And did I mention that the price of the food doesn't break the bank and that the PawStand offers a case discount? Heyo... I really can't say enough great things about the customer service offered here. Donna and Jennifer are so kind, always asking after our dogs and offering ideas for their food and treats, such as new chicken-free hip/joint supplement treats. Their advice has always been spot on and has kept our dogs so happy! This is THE place to go if you have a dog in need of a special diet or if you just have questions about what nourishment to provide your dog. The PawStand has terrific bathing facilities. Ramps for big doggies, awesome shampoos and conditioners, brushes, you name it. There are aprons for you and plenty of towels and best of all, a cool hair dryer. For $16, its worth not messing up your house and having to do loads of laundry to get your pup clean as a whistle. They offer both small and large dog bathing facilities. The PawStand also offers aquatic therapy as well as laser therapy at reasonable prices - the same treatment you'd get at your vet but without those vet prices! I've been shopping here for a few years with complete satisfaction until recently. Inventory on the dog food that I buy has been limited the last few months. Yesterday I tried to buy my regular two bags of Farmina but only found one that met my needs. When I stated my frustration to the sales clerk her response was that I come in at the wrong times. At other times the inventory is there. Really? So I guess I have to shop at specific times not when I need or when it's convenient for me. Add to this the one bag that I did find that met my needs was out of date. Of course I didn't realize this until after I got it home and opened it and fed it to my dogs. This place has really clean, well equipped individual dog wash rooms. The Pawstand is located next door to Wellpet Humane. It's one of the few businesses located in the shipping center. The owners here are very helpful. They always offer me advice and share their anecdotes on products they have specifically given their own dogs. I had been struggling for several months to find something my older would eat. He started having digestive issues and then became extremely picky with this food. And I mean he literally went on food strikes and it pained me to hear his little tummy making starving noises. I had tried every food possible. Fromm, Canidae, Acana, Farmina, Earthborn/Venture, goats milk, various supplements... you name it I had probably tried it. This place has a plethora of different brands of foods and supplements, which was really helpful. I had never seen the new Stella and Chewy raw coated kibble until I came here. (I later find out that The Whole Dog Market in Sandy Springs also carries it, however, The Pawstand seems to have a larger variety and stock whenever I randomly stop by). The owners gave me some samples of the Stella and Chewy (sample bag has a coupon!) and my doggo was hooked. He was finally (FINALLY) excited for his food AND he was eating it regularly. I was praising every kind of deity out there (not really), but The Pawstand was definitely amazingly helpful. The Pawstand has a variety of raw treats and meals as well. They carry a lot of cute stuff as well such as collars, tags, cards etc. We got a card for a friend after he dog sat for us one time. They even have a "Kitty Korner". So cat owners have something to check out as well. The owners her have been nothing but helpful. I've been here several times now that I live closer ish. (recently moved from Smyrna to Lilburn) The only con to the place are the store hours! They aren't necessarily convenient if you work a 9 to 5. (Which I can't quite blame them since it looks like they mostly run the entire place themselves). They are open Saturday's, and they are usually quite busy. They are closed Sunday's. I didn't know and just assumed maybe they were open and dropped by without checking their store hours one Sunday, and I was very sad. (Lol) If you are in the area, or if you're waiting for something being done at Wellpet (immediately next door) check out this amazing place! Maybe you'll find something amazing too. Love love LOVE this place. The owners are ULTRA knowledgeable in everything dog. They carry a large array of foods that you can't find at petsmart or any of the big chains. They actually got me hooked on Victor food for our four large dogs... and my dogs are happier than ever. :) They have a dog wash, and a rehab area for pups. The only negative is that twice now, we haven't had the foresight to realize we were going to run out of food on a Sunday, and they are closed on Sundays. read more

We stopped by this place to bathe our goldendoodle after spending the day at the creek. We were in town from Florida and where we are from, this doesn't exist. Was an awesome service, $18 is well worth it. The tub was awesome, warm water, variety of shampoo and conditioners and they provide towels. I took off a star because the blower needs work. The top part kept coming off and the air was freezing cold coming out of there. There was no option for warm air, and there was no way we were going to be able to dry our fluffy goldendoodle with cold air. read more

The prices are REALLY good compared to seme of the smaller pet shops that I've been to. They treated me like a highly valued customer from the get go. I love this place!!! We were at the Vet next door and I was on google trying to find a place that sells a specific dog food ( Victor). My dog had been having fungal infections, hair loss, everything for a few months. Antibiotics, change of food, allergy medications, Antifungal, steroids... We tried it all and nothing worked. We spoke to Lia and she was so informative! Gave us information that the vet never even mentioned. Suggested some different brands of food and I was ready to buy a $56 dollar bag. However she suggested that I try different flavors and brands of dog food! She gave us tons of samples to see which brand/flavor he prefers. Never pressured us to buy anything! I'm coming back today to buy a bag and will update in a few months if anything changes with my dog. read more

We have been going to The Paw Stand for several months to use their self dog wash. Which is very nice & clean with all the tools and shampoos u need. But what makes me love them more is for the hydrotherapy service by Dr. J. . I really think that and the laser therapy "bought" us another year with our 15 yr old dog who's 70 lbs. I truly enjoy bringing my senior pooch here! He is an older dog (71lbs) who still acts like a puppy! Anyway, I used to take him to a box brand place for them to wash him and I noticed that as he got older he REALLY HATED going there Sono would try and space his baths out as far a possible....smh.... I then decided I would go back to bathing him myself like I did when he was a young lad pup. This decision put me on the hunt for a good DIY bath house that opens early on a Saturday and that's how I found he PawStand! The ladies that work here are truly down to earth and caring and the spa rooms are always immaculate!! I love that they provide everything that you need to get your pooch nice and clean and the products are actually GOOD products and they have a ramp for my old boy so he feels confident walking up into the bath. Luckily, this gem is close to my neighborhood. My dog has been suffering for about 2-3 months with an allergic skin reaction. After a little research, I concluded that the allergy had to be from her diet. With the help of the ladies at The PawStand, I was able to find my little lady a natural food that has already started to help with her itchiness and dry patches. Plus, she absolutely loves the food!
