The people who own this place are very nice. They are originally from Brooklyn. So great stars for the service. However, I did not think the pizza was much to write home about. It was okay, not bad but not as good as other NY style pizza places in town. A true test of good NY pizza is that fine layer of grease, not overdone crust, and high quality cheese, water and toppings. For me it is the flat slices of sausage and not that crumbly what I call, fake "sausage." It was okay but since I know better places and I have to watch my pizza intake I probably won't be back. Let's start with the employees: I went in with a large party of 8 people and the employees were very happy to accommodate us. They were extremely patient and overall extremely friendly and happy to serve us. The food: We received a mail in coupon with Money Mailer and used a coupon called Central Park (2 large pizzas with 1 topping, 40 wings, large salad). The slices were huge, the wings were the most delicious wings, the salad was enough for us 8 people. We were surprised that the pizza wasn't greasy, it was absolutely splendid. I've been searching for a great calzone since I arrived last year from NY. My neighbor recommended Doda's saying she's gone there for years and the loving family who runs it makes the place charming. I finally got there last night and had the best calzone I have ever had! They cover it with a garlic butter and it was absolute perfection! My family and I were going to try Dodas about a month ago but didn't get to, this time I wanted to try it because of the reviews. We had the XL pizza and 30 wings special plus my husband wanted to try the honey hot wings. The medium buffalo wings we had were great just the right spice crispy and not vinegary which is a plus. The honey hot wings were amazing, my 9 year old daughter even loved them and help her daddy finish them off. The pizza crust was the right amount of flavor and crispy crust. My family and I really enjoyed everything we ordered, now next time I have to be not so full to try one of their cannolis. We will be coming back maybe every 2 weeks or so. read more

I don't like super spicy so they made medium honey wings. They were perfect just how I love my wings sweet with a little spice. The salad was the best salad I have had in a long time. They put a good amount of meat on it. I got the Italian Ani Pasto salad. The customer service was the best we have ever had. I love this Pizzeria. I'm originally from NJ and this pizza is as close to NJ/NY pizza that I've found. It's very traditional hand tossed with a crispy crust and they serve large slices (just like home). --The service is always great. While they're super busy at lunch the employees are happy and friendly. --The price is very reasonable. They have lunch time specials and serve by the slice. They also deliver local, but you have to call and order. --There is a lot of parking available at the restaurant. The restaurant is not really made to sit down and enjoy your food, but there is seating available. Most people just grab there food and go. It's clean and small but that doesn't bother me because the food is so good, I don't really care. :) read more

Stopped by this place because I saw someone mention them in a neighborhood app and I like supporting community businesses. This place didn't disappoint and is a nice addition to the area however they are somewhat tucked away in the Petsmart area so easy to miss from the road. I was in around lunch time. 2 slices and a drink for around $5. Can't beat it. Slices were huge (see photo), had that nice crispness to the crust but you could still get that NY fold out of it. This is a family owned place and the people are as welcoming as family! They dont have a liquor license so if you are looking to have a beer with your pie you wont be having it in the restaurant it will be takeout in the comfort of your home. I failed to inquire if they were BYO but you can call and ask if you are insistent on eating it there. They make a really good pie and use fresh ingredients and they are very eager to please and keep their customers happy and coming back! They serve a New York style thin pie and also make sicilian style as well, I have had both and you cant go wrong with either! As a matter of fact I am making my mouth water as I write this review!!!
