I came to this location I actually stood in the front waiting for assistance for a while no one ever came up to me someone actually shouted I could go to the bar for pick up. Good thing I called ahead I ordered fish tacos two come in an order they were nice pieces of fish and came on flour tortilla which is actually my preference. There wasn't much to the taco just the fish and a sauce, it could have been seasoned a little more and had more toppings however the fish was cooked well. I got it with chips and they were really good I was happy about them and also two sauces one guac and one sour cream. read more

Nice casual spot. Attentive servers. Food was good and well presented. Well located in town.

Great family friendly place. Service was excellent and the food was tasty. would go again.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to OC. It was fantastic! We had the Philly steak egg rolls to start, super tasty, and I ordered the shrimp and grits which was truly the best meal I've had this year flavor-wise, and the Rueben which my husband seemed to enjoy. read more

Docs is designed to please! Our first visit to their happy hour with a good selection of wine, beer and a build your own pizza. It's perfect with TVs and fun loving people! The service was attentive with two bartenders handling everyone very well. We will definitely go back when we are in the Easton Maryland area. read more

I tried the crab cake special with mashed potatoes and green beans. I live outside of MD now and was so happy to have a delicious taste of home. Doc's Downtown Grille has a warm and inviting atmosphere which makes you want to stay and linger as long as possible. read more

Bottom Line: Casual spot in charming Easton for tasty American fare. My husband and I stumbled across Doc's when looking for a lunch spot during our Eastern Shore travels. We found Doc's on Yelp and decided to give it a whirl. Having not really been to Easton before we were immediately mesmerized by the cute downtown area including the charming storefront of Doc's. On a beautiful sunny fall Sunday Doc's was the perfect spot for a late lunch and catching a little sports. We enjoyed the Rockfish Wrap and Shrimp Tacos while casually keeping an eye on NFL scores. Other patrons were much more into the games and celebrating with lots of beer so it was a fun atmosphere, even with COVID. Speaking of COVID, the tables are spread apart, the employees are wearing masks an in early fall Doc's was offering outdoor dining. The employees were friendly and attentive and it was a nice experience. I'd definitely return to try more items on the menu. read more

Wonderful establishment to get a great meal. This was a surprise birthday dinner for my aunt and everyone enjoyed the food and the service was exceptional. Our server was Travis, thank you and the other young men who helped you bring the food out. Will definitely be back in the near future. read more

Doc's was adorable and in the cutest town ever. The ambiance at sunset was perfect for this small town. Our waitress was very nice and the food was excellent. The speed was a little bit on the slower side but it matched the small town vibe to it all. Honestly was the perfect start to my vacation! read more

Good food, good atmosphere right in downtown Easton. My favorite is the fish and chips ( made with cod, because fish and chips has to be cod or haddock...nothing else!!!!) read more

Fantastic food and service. Calamari is highly recommended as an appetizer! We go here frequently and also enjoy the atmosphere, drinks, and overall menu selection. Prices are reasonable as well! read more

Monday I sat at the bar as a single and ordered a beer and BLT with chips.. The sandwich was one of the worst ever! It was not balanced, meaning the sour dough bread was way too much for the sandwich, there was an overwhelming amount of bacon, (yes, that is possible!) with one small slice of tomato and two small pieces of wilted lettuce! Service and atmosphere were great, but that BLT didn't fit your name and prestige. From the Western Shore, and I would eat there again, LLL read more

A friend and I dined here for dinner on a Sunday after a day of photography at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and Cambridge. We typically dine at Carmela's in Cambridge but decided to try this place. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the fried calamari and burgers. Good menu with lots of choices. Prices are very reasonable. Will return again when I'm in the area. read more

Our server Amanda was amazing the pub was so full when we entered (Fire and Ice Festival) she was fast and in control. Never rushed us! However, I loved when the pub emptied and I could see the calmness she had as if the pub was full! The food was so fabulous! read more

I decided to spend a quiet weekend, recently, in Easton, MD just to do some exploring. I took the ferry from Oxford, a pleasant journey and got to Easton about half an hour later. Looking for a place to eat lunch, I came across Doc's Downtown which had a few outdoor tables. The weather was pleasant so I wanted to sit outside. My waitress was very pleasant and came to me promptly after I sat down. While I can't recall the whole menu, a Rockfish wrap caught my eye, and I immediately ordered that. Oh, Stella Artois was on tap, another big plus. My meal came out without a long wait and the waitress, Aimee, again paid me a visit and even brought more napkins. Very thoughtful of her. By the way, the Rockfish wrap was delicious and perfect for lunch. Doc's makes homemade chips, too, and I'd recommend those. Hard to stop eating them. I liked Doc's so much, I went back there for dinner. This time I sat at the bar, had another Stella, and ordered shrimp tacos. Again, just perfect, very tasty and with more chips. The bartenders were friendly and perfectly attentive. The prices for both lunch and dinner were very reasonable I thought. I have to add, before going to Doc's I went to another restaurant on N. Washington St, this one with the initials TL. I sat outside at the large courtyard/bar for 15 minutes before any restaurant employee made contact. The beer on tap was a meager selection so I opted for a Yuengling in a bottle. Another 15 minutes passed without anyone contacting me. I waited and waited for a menu which never came. I finally paid for my beer and walked away. I can not tolerate lousy, incompetent service. read more

We go once a week for dinner. Fast friendly service. Food is consistently the same. Using can be a little loud but if you ask they will turn it down. Nice convenient local place. read more

Bar was hopping, we had sit-down dinner, enjoyed the vibes, crab cakes and crab dip. Service was attentive on a busy night.

I always like Doc's Downtown Grille. But the last couple times I was there, the food selection has not changed much. The selection is very limited for dinner, and it is not consistently good as it used to be. The servers are very friendly and helpful. But please put some new things on your menu. Especially for dinner. How about some seafood!?! read more

This downtown joint has very good cream crab soup and a nice location. I also had the shrimp and grits, which was also good. The only thing I'd say about the shrimp and grits is that I would add a little more heat to the recipe to give it a little bite. Finally, the employees here were very friendly and attentive. read more

We got lucky and got a space on Washington Street. Doc's is right across the street from Talbot Courthouse in downtown Easton. This was my first visit to Doc's in Easton, there's a Doc's in Oxford and Centerville, and the menus are all different. The menu at Doc's Downtown offers a balance of unique dishes (sesame crusted tuna with rice, seafood mac and cheese, Cajun mussels & frites) and old favorites (meatloaf, ribeye, prime rib dip). The hot crab dip appetizer with warm soft pretzel sticks was insanely delicious. Super impressed with the crab cake sandwich with coleslaw. The bun was grilled. "High five" There wasn't a lot of filler holding the crab cake together and the crab cake tasted so fresh. There is no such thing as leftovers here. The restaurant is definitely popular with the locals and the service was incredible despite being completely crowded. The front of the house and back of the house are able to work together as a team. It's as if everyone is able to where different hats at once. The food runner from the kitchen makes sure your food is hot and doesn't let the food sit under the heat lamp. This restaurant could definitely win the friendliest staff award. Nanticoke Nectar on draft and lots of big tv's for game watching. I'll be back soon for the "cheese steak hoagie melt" with shaved prime rib and "prime rib dip." read more

Open late - we were staying in Oxford and late start for dinner and all was closing up there - so in Easton we found Doc's and excellent food. Great service and a nice crowd of locals at the bar. I highly recommend the meat loaf/mashed/asparagus- yum, super gravy. My wife had some crab cakes. The manager chatted with us and best of luck to him in his new career as a PE teacher - yes he'll moonlight still at Doc's. This is an old school kind of place and they will bend over backwards for you and welcome you. Call to make sure kitchen is still open. After hours they'll serve you what they have in the cooler - like cheesecake. read more

We where there on Sunday is a good place to see football and is clean, very good food, good service and good people

Arriving just as the kitchen was closing, we were nonetheless seated cheerfully by Doc's hostess and served with supreme efficiency and warm friendliness by Avery. The local seafood specialties were great, and we were not rushed or short-changed despite a late arrival. These days it can be really complicated to figure out which establishments are actually open using online searches, and there is a lot of conflicting information out there. If you want a full dinner at Doc's, you should try to get there before 9 pm, though the bar stays open much later. We were grateful and relieved to be received so graciously after a frustrating search for a restaurant closer to our hotel, and we would go out of our way to return to Doc's in the future. read more

Docs was a great lunch spot in Easton Maryland. Cute town, nice staff and decent food. The indoor space is pretty standard bar, goes very deep with a large bar, booths and high top tables. We snagged one of the 6-7 tables outside on a sunny day, and happy to have our dog sitting next to us. The area had a lot of house flies though. We asked them to turn on the fans which helped a ton. I kind of wonder why they hadn't already done this since the table next to us ate their lunch while swatting away flies.... Our food also took a long time to come out. We ordered a salad, and the prime rib egg rolls (upon Yelp recommendations). We asked for salad and egg rolls to come out first...and everything came out after 35 minutes. It happens, but how long does a salad take? The salad however , the season salad that is, was delicious with blackened grilled chicken, strawberries, candied walnuts and a lovey sweet onion dressing. They also split up the salad on two plates with us - very nice. The prime rib rolls were quite indulgent and come in four large pieces. We could only finish two but the cold leftovers were delicious! The rockfish wrap was outstanding! Flaky pieces of fried fish, lettuce, tomato and a flour tortilla. Had just the right amount of tartar sauce. There was nothing crazy about this wrap, it was just done right. All in all, food was pretty good. But the service was lacking. read more

Great service, great food and a great time! I would definitely come back here for happy hour or to watch games on Sunday!

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to on this occasion. It was busy this night and crowded at Doc's Downtown Grill. The noise level was intense, (not restaurants fault). The service was so so and our server wasn't very attentive. The food was mediocre. My wife and I both had Reuben sandwiches, and the bread and sandwich were very dry. I've had Rueben's in the past and enjoyed them. I think this restaurant can do better. Very disappointed! Jerry N. read more

Music was too load. Food was mediocre. French dip was too salty. Tuna poke nachos were way too sweet.

I was in Easton for a friend's wedding and the hotel room wasn't ready so my fiance and I came here for a quick snack. We sat inside at the bar and ordered a few drinks and the crab dip. Being from CA I've only had a few crab dips, but this one was definitely the best. The bread was hot a crispy and the dip was perfect. The bartender was also very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The town of Easton was very cute and we will definitely come back for a weekend for some more crab dip. read more

I sat on the patio for dinner because it smelled like an old persons home inside the restaurant. I ordered a draft blue moon and their hot crab dip! It was good, but the service was very slow so I decided not to order an entree. There wasn't enough bread to go with the crab dip so I asked for some crackers but that took a very long time....like I had to save the last quarter of my beer to finish off with the crab dip but I waited soooo long just to get some crackers.... read more

Zero stars. I'm only putting one star because Yelp requires at least one star. If I could give negative stars I would. My wife and I went here for an early dinner (it was not crowded at all). I ordered a hamburger (medium) with fries. Unfortunately, they left some of my requested ingredients off of it. When the wait staff returned the burger, it still came out wrong And now the burger was overcooked. They also got my side item (French fries) wrong (they gave chips instead). The wait staff apologized and said the manager would come talk to us, but he or she did not show up. He or she did not have the common courtesy to show up and rectify the situation. Instead, my "Build-A-Burger" was removed from the bill. My wife ate half of her meal and asked for a box to go. Now we're on our way to the grocery store to get a burger to make at home. If you eat here, good luck! read more
