Went to Applebees tonight, waited over 20 mins on drinks, he blamed the bar. my daughter couldn't get her Oreo milkshake until asking for it over 4 times and me finally saying just give her a different drink. Then the server said, "well it's being made". Yet still made us wait another ten mins. Ordered our food and the same daughter who waited forever for her milkshake didn't get her food. Whatsoever. She ordered a kids burger. He ran away after giving everyone else their food at my table and 5 mins later I reminded him she didn't have food. He said, "oh sorry I thought I added her food". I told him just to take it off my bill and we would share our food with her. Idk if he had something against my 7 year old or our table but it was insane. We normally always order desserts but I was afraid of waiting another half hour for that so we didn't get any. It's one thing if it was busy but he had all of 3 tables. Trust me I know because I watched every table he walked to all night. We love Applebees and I never complain if it's busy, but he kept blaming the bar, when in reality it was him. I've never had a server so inept. I'm not going to blast him on here but if Applebees themselves want to contact me trust me my daughter remembered his name. We will be back to this Applebees because it is normally amazing! I will personally ask to not be seated in his section if he's there though. Sitting for an hour without a drink is insane, waiting an hour and 30 mins for our food is wild. We had 4 kids with us, thank god they understood what was happening and acted appropriately but it's past their bedtime. We came here because it's normally quick and a great time. I watched a Server/bartender Thomas run a young man's card who asked for check before showing him the total. he ran mine before I saw my check i had card out to get attention but it was not how I wanted to pay In itself not a big deal but I have witnessed him being condescending to regulars . This location has some good staff that I like to frequent. Tonight was my last straw I was never asked if I wanted food menu. I took a break going here after covid now im done. I was impressed with the service.... I was a little apprehensive about stopping by, but we outside again!!! I actually was going to get it to go but they had plexiglass on each booth and I saw them wiping things down. I requested an area that wasn't full so there was a empty booth or two between guests. The waitress was pleasant and knowledgable- Dominique The food was delicious and we ate too much. The dessert was the star here - served warm with a gooey center (with ice cream on the side). We dined here about 2 weeks ago for a quick dinner on our way to Ocean City. We got the $22 for 2 deal, which gave us 2 burgers + an order of wings. Given the price, the burgers were decent - both cooked to our desired doneness. As for the wings... perhaps I wasn't too hungry that night, but the bbq sauce on the wings was so one-dimensional in taste that it was almost nauseating. Luckily the chicken itself was fine and the ranch helped balance out the flavor. As for the drinks, we got a gin and tonic as well as the Bahama Mama. The gin and tonic could have used a bit more lime, but had a generous amount of alcohol and was a solid drink. The Bahama Mama was ok - there was some fruitiness to it, but lacked any complexity; the coconut flavor was also nearly undetectable. As for COVID precautions, there was social distancing (though the restaurant was quite empty at the time), QR codes for the menus, and hand sanitizer at the door. Overall, it met expectations and was reasonably priced, but otherwise unremarkable. Ultimately not bad for an evening pitstop. read more

First time coming to this Applebees in a few years and was greatly satisfied until the very end when our server Brie i believe that is how it's spelt made a very odd comment to our group. When making conversation about the heavy fog the other night she compared the area to a sundown town? Coming back from the beach and sick of beach food, we thought we would stop here for dinner. We were seated in the side room in the middle of a bunch of screaming kids. That would have been fine if that was the only table available but the place was half empty. We waited about 10 minutes for our server. She had a terrible attitude from the start. As soon as we told her we were doing the 2 for 20$ special she rolled her eyes as if to say she knew her tip would be small based on the tip percentage of 20$ and she had a horrible attitude the entire meal. Our onion rings came out with BARBEQUE sauce and she just said oh well. Use it for your chicken tenders. My husbands chicken tenders were dried out and looked like a kids meal. My lime chicken was cold and the only thing lime about it was the lime wedge on the plate. We had to flag her down for refills and she never cleared any dirty dishes so we sat there with dirty side plates and empty glasses while we tried to eat. The server then loudly told the couple next to us that their credit card was declined and slapped their card on their table. And when a mother with her two small children ordered the 2 for 20$ special she loudly said "it figures!" And they had to ask for silverware after their meals came. There was a manager lady walking around asking people if everything was ok but the server was hovering only then so we couldn't really say anything then. My advice is to avoid this place if you don't want attitude for not ordering the most expensive thing on the menu. Or if you want your food to be hot or if you want silverware with your meal or a refill. Or avoid the busomy server with the dark blonde hair that wears a ton of make up and a choker necklace with large wooden keys on it. She seems to think she is deserving of your hard earned money when she can't even do her job. read more

I've been coming to this Applebees location since it opened over 10 years ago. The staff is always super friendly and the food comes out fast and is good. The managers are always walking around the dining room, checking in with guests....its rare to find restaurants with management who seem to truly care. Make sure to check out the half priced apps after 9! Can't tell you how many date nights we've had over boneless wings... And there's always a good drink special at the bar! (can't blame anyone except for myself for thinking that) they sat us & we waited 30 minutes to just get our drinks. then we had four different waitresses because they were "short of staff", but five waitresses walked past us & there is no one in here. we eventually got the "busy" staff to stop & help us & they were so "shocked" & "appalled" that no one helped us. we then got our food & they forgot to put my friend order in. also, my barbecue wings didn't have sauce & the waitress seemed as if she had an attitude like i haven't been patient with them this whole time. the food is not that good for them to be acting like this is ruth chris. do not recommend. just make that damn food at home. read more

Went to dinner here 7/28/2018, had steak, baked potato and broccoli. About midway through meal started feeling nauseous. Went outside to get some air and observed gentleman 3 cars down puking his guts out. Went back in to speak with management, was told she would do something about my meal and left us sit there for another 30 minutes. Then waiter came with check, my meal still full price when I only ate not even half before feeling sick, then waited another 20 minutes to speak with Manager again then she finally took off $10 dollars. Salad was ready about 30seconds before the food was served but then all three plates of food came out about 2 minutes apart. I have always heard franchise restaurants quality of food, drinks and service is always below standards in small towns. This Applebee's is no exception. I ordered a perfect margarita which has 1800 tequila, Cointreau and grand marnier. The bartender made my perfect margarita with cheap tequila and sweet & sour. After tasting it and noticing the awful taste I questioned as to what type of tequila was used (mind you I was watching ) Of course the answer was 1800, the bartender however offered me another shot(knowingly he didn't use 1800) After that shot it made a huge difference it actually tasted like a "perfect margarita". I guess you have to speak out to get not only what you order but what's stated on the menu. read more

Avoid this place if there is any chance you will forget to take your credit card from the restaurant wallet after your meal. I did that last summer, and was back within 1/2 hour to retrieve it. By then, charges were accumulating all over Europe on my card for flowers, the iTunes store, hotels, stores. Fortunately, the card company put a hold on my card right away. It had to be the manager if the waitress was telling the truth, as she said she gave it to him after she discovered it. I took my 2 year old and 4 year old out to eat to have some daddy time (and give my amazing wife a break). Our gift card wouldn't work, and their great staff made everything work. Just got done eating at Apple Bee's with my husband, and honestly the best part of this place is the servers up beat attitude. Extremely polite and attentive service, but the food was terrible. Sent back our appetizer cause the sauce had a burnt taste (BBQ boneless wings), our entrees were terrible. Tasted horrible. I had the 6 oz steak with 4 cheese macaroni and bbq seasoned fries. The fries were stale, the steak was medium (I ordered medium rare) and the Mac tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. My husbands ribs were very dry, and his broccoli looked gross. My boyfriend and I ate at the Easton Applebees on Friday night. We are avid Applebees eatters, and frequent this location often. Friday night we went and as soon as we walked in their were about 6 workers/hostess standing up front talking crowding the door. They kept talking and laughing and no one hardly acknowledged us. Then when we were seated, I immediately noticed how dirty the floor under our table was, and the walkway in front of our row of tables. There were napkins, a fork, several straw rappers, and other trash all over the floor. I thought maybe it was just bad timing but all of this stuff laid in the floor for the remainder of the meal. I figured we just sat in a busy spot, but realized the whole place was nasty when I got up to use the bathroom. I could not get over how messy the floors were. Any one of the 6 chatting hostess could have taken 3 min. to sweep and pick up the napkins and crayons, and silverware off the floor. I always order the Oriental Chicken Salad every time I'm at an Apple Bees, but Friday night something just wasn't right with the salad. I have ate this same salad over 40 times and know how it tastes.I also had to wait 15 minutes for a drink because my waiter, who was very good and friendly, said that the tea had to be brewed. We were over charged, both of our meals were on the 2for20 but were rang up separately. By that time we were just ready to leave and paid the full higher price. Very disappointing. read more
