Early Morning Breakfast - Lost I had left the hotel before food service started and so I chose to stop at the McDonald's located at 317 Sunburst Hwy Cambridge, MD Prior to going to the kiosk to place my order, I chose to visit the restroom. The restaurant had opened approximately 30 minutes prior to my arrival. Also, much to my surprise, this restaurant has larger restrooms than most due to its location (gateway to Ocean City). Stall doors were open and each revealed such as disgusting mess that I could not even consider using the restroom much less ordering food. Came in on a Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. with 70 plus high schoolers after a field trip. The store was empty upon arrival ( and what an arrival it was with 3 bus loads of kids). The staff was exceptional. They were pleasant, helpful, quick and efficient. Everyone was eating within about 25 minutes. Food was prepared correctly and hot. The store was spotless upon arrival. Very impressed. I haven't been inside an McDonald's in YEARS, I was pleasantly surprised! read more

We have 2 different crews the congregate at our local McDonald's... Meaning I have a few friends that meet for breakfast, and another crew for dinner. We sit and talk and are just thankful for being alive... Oh I don't mention we're all seasoned lol seniors so to speak. So coming to this particular Mickie Dee's is a part of our daily living. We wouldn't change a thing! McDonald's at Sunburst and Cedar... we all are so thankful we have this safe harbor in our little burg! The orders are always wrong and most of the employees are rude. When you ask them to give you what you paid for they get an attitude it's really disturbIng. Who doesn't like McDonald's! The service is consistent. The coffee is satisfying with an egg McMuffin in the morning. Ummm good! I like how they will mix the cream and sugar for your coffee and with the coupons it's sometimes free. read more

They are pretty quick. I love.You can save using the apps. The restaurant is clean. The only criticism is true of all McDonalds. The new interior is awful. No drink stations, no napkins or extra straws, no condiments. We are at the mercy of the staff who may be busy with customers. read more

The bang for the buck isn't there no more, they got a $5 special and a 2 for $5 special but both of them are temporary. Hell a large fries is almost $4 now. The new remodel they did makes the place look like an ugly 1970s restaurant and they got rid of the drink station so now you gotta ask a worker to refill your drink. It's nonsense! I'm having the worst issues at McDonalds in December. Again, super attitude. I pulled up at 10:32 am. Cashier KS#13 order 99 in case any managers want to check into this or even do a surprise run through their own drive thru. I asked for a cheeseburger Happy Meal. The girl said 'we aren't serving lunch'. I said 'oh I'm sorry, I thought you served lunch at 10:30. Can I just get a large sugar free vanilla ice coffee?' She said 'Let me put the emphasis on we aren't serving lunch.' I said 'What was that?' She said 'your total is $1.05'. Wow. At least they got the total correct but these employees in VA and MD are horrible! Maybe not all, but the ones I have come into contact with anyway. read more

Food seems ok. Pretty quick for how busy it was. Was VERY turned off with the fact that there was TONS of flies flying around. They were crawling on the order screens and walls. I can't imaging THAT many flies being there they can keep sanitary. If I had noticed the flies before I ordered I would have walked out. read more

I had to make a yelp specifically so I could write about this McDanks location. My sister has lived in Cambridge for a while and every time I visit her, we always pick up McDonalds. For the past couple of years, we always joke about how this McDonalds is the best in Maryland. All the ladies at the drive through have always called us "Sweety" and "Honey", ask how our day is. and have always told us to have a nice day. Every time without fail. And always say hello to our dog when we bring her. At any other McDonalds location, service is usually very quick and brash. But not here. read more

We stopped at abut 9:30pm at Cambridge. I ordered a BigMac medium combo my wife ordered a double cheeseburger and medium fries. The reason I had to write this was because everything was exactly right! From the BigMac that was done perfectly to the fries that weren't burnt or soggy or over salted perfect. Even the sweet tea was right on. That crew should be commended for a great job. read more

I drove up to a McDonald's in a neighboring town and ate breakfast. Nice service and food. But my daughter had to suddenly use the bathroom and we pulled up to the McDonald's to a nice staff member at the door. She beli bed The manager would allow us to go in and use the bathroom. But when the manager open the door she rudely told me they didn't open till seven and even though it was five minutes of seven we weren't allowed to use the restroom or buy food in the facility. It was ridiculous, and I will never go to that McDonald's again. Bad customer service read more
