This is my honest review of this place…read more 1.) I called ahead to order 2 dozen bagels, I was bringing them for a work event. Was told they dont accept orders instead they wanted to honor the guest who wait in line. I said no problem and hopped off the phone, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that doesn't honor people who wait in line, it actually disrespects their time but it's their business model and it works for them. 2.) Since I waited in line, I also got a breakfast sandwich, it tasted good but most certainly not as good as the wait would indicate 3.) Not sure how long I waited in line but afterwards the bagles came out and they were just thrown in a grocery paper bag. I sort of felt like the presentation couldve been aqequate after a $70 bill and what seemed like an 30 min wait. That also didn't come with cream cheese or utensils 4.) Not a family friend restaurant. It has curse words in plain site. I wouldn't want my kids reading that. Alot of other words to use other than an F word. Clearly My #1 gripe with this place is the seemingly unnecessary wait I sort of expect if you're going to make your clients wait atleast let whatever they waited for be worth while. Not from the area so if its not a family friendly area then #4 is not a big deal but from my vantage point, some family might stroll in here with their 2nd or 3rd grader and read that vulgar word. I gave a 2 star instead of 1 because the food did have good flavor. But that was the only positive from my trip

B's Bagels is, hands down, one of my favorite places to eat in the Tacoma area…read more I will quite literally drive from Tacoma over the bridge to Gig Harbor, pay the toll, wait in the enormously long line that is almost always at B's, and risk finding out they've sold out just to get one of their bagel sandwiches. And I'll do it again. The bagels are that good. Whether I'm calling it breakfast or lunch depends entirely on the day, but this is one of those places where I already know the trip is worth it before I leave the house. The line can be long and yes, sometimes they sell out. That's the risk you take. Consider it part of the experience. If the line is out the door, get in it. If they still have bagels when you make it to the front, congratulations.

My daughter got a bagel with the vegan avocado schmear which was OK but I was quite disappointed after we left and opened my bag to find a plain bagel with the vegan cream cheese not on it but instead in a small container cold. Sounds silly, but part of the enjoyment of getting a bagel out is that you get a warm bagel and you have vegan cream cheese spread on it, which warms it up a little bit and makes it taste better. It was such a bummer to not have it spread on and even more so because I didn't have a knife to spread it (we were traveling and I didn't know it was on the side so I didn't grab a knife from the place). Would suggest having any vegan spread on the bagel :)

The staff is incredibly friendly, the menu feels refined without being overcomplicated, and I already know what I'm ordering when I walk through the door: the Gemini Latte. It's my go-to and always the drink I recommend to someone visiting for the first time. There's something really special about a café that feels like it genuinely belongs to its neighborhood, and Curran absolutely does. Get the Gemini.

I ordered a white chocolate mocha, but was handed a regular mocha instead. When I politely said I had ordered a white chocolate mocha, the employee immediately responded with attitude. I handed the drink back and said I didn't want that one, and she asked--again with attitude--if I wanted it remade. When I said yes, she rudely told me that "next time you need to say white chocolate mocha." I responded that I believed I had, and she insisted I didn't. There was no reason for the hostility over a simple drink correction. Customer mistakes happen, employee mistakes happen--but basic kindness and professionalism should still be expected. The food may be good, but the repeated poor treatment from staff makes the experience unpleasant. Management seriously needs to address customer service training or reconsider staffing, because friendly service goes a long way.

They have sit down place to eat and to-go orders. A tv is inside to entertain you while eating. Glad this place is serving our military men and women. Keep up the great work.
