One of my favorite donut shops. Their donuts are consistently fresh and has such a great texture. It's chewy without it being dense and greasy. You can't go wrong with any of their donuts but my personal favorites are the donut holes, maple bars, and the bacon maple bar. Their bacon maple bar has a whole, thick slice of bacon. I stumbled across this spot this morning and it exceeded my expectations. Immediately met with friendly service, ran by the owner, Chang who is very personable and kind. A great variety of doughnuts, I also saw they had espresso drinks and breakfast sandwiches which I'm looking forward to trying next time. I peeked around the bakery and he also sold greeting cards and plants. I tried the doughnut when I got home and honestly it was the freshest doughnut I've ever had, the type that melts in your mouth. I should also mention that it is not overpriced- $3.80 for the 2 doughnuts I got. I will 100% be returning to try what else they have. A petite yellow building with mighty tasty donuts. Le Donut in Tacoma has parking on both the front and back of the building. When I arrived about ten minutes before 10 a.m. on Friday 3 March 2023 they had one of the donut I had spotted online and wanted to try out, the glazed apple fritter. There was a COVID-19 protective screen in place that reminded me of the protective clothing my dental hygienist wore the last time I went in. It did not hinder placing my order and payment, and the lady behind the counter was friendly. Price for the glazed apple fritter was $3.00. The apple fritter was well glazed, not too thick nor too sugary. There were small chunks of apple throughout the donut. The dough part of donut was a little on the denser side, but not too much so, and the overall shape was a little flatter, almost like a saucer. It was a bit larger than some of the other donuts offered, I would guess maybe two to three times the size. I did eat the whole fritter in one go, it was filling, though I did not feel overly full. read more

This place is a legend and it's sort of Tacoma secret I think. They're a small donut shop in Hilltop neighborhood that's been here for years and their donut is.. REALLY GOOD (for lack of better description). You just have to try it. You thought Top Pot is good? If you had a blind tasting, I bet $5 you will pick Le Donut's donut. Try their Bacon maple bar. I think it actually might be the best one in the world @_@ dare I say. It's a mom and pop donut shop and just like your mom and pop they're not always gonna be in mood to having convo with you. Love these donuts and the variety of fresh snacks. I usually drop about $40 a trip because I get donuts, egg rolls, a few full size pig in a blankets, and drinks. This is a hidden gem. Despite its location in one of the rougher areas of Tacoma, this donut shop is 100% worth the visit. The donuts here are excellent! Arrived about 11:30 and so the choices weren't as robust. I picked up an old fashioned and a white cake with what I call birthday sprinkles. The donuts were very fresh. The cake donut was wonderful. The crumb was perfect Nd I didn't lose it down my front. Icing ratio was perfect. The old fashioned was right up there. Crispy outside and soft inside with good flavor. They have drinks in a case (sodas and other). The also sell cards. Hmmm I'm thinking a dozen and a card for the next family occasion. read more

My mouth is watering as I reminisce.. Lucky me to find this place while searching for parking close another donut shop nearby. Their donuts are freaking delicious. I walked in and heard a little voice say hello. I saw no one. She was behind the plastic to my right lol. Typical average donut shop vibe. Kinda dirty kinda clean. They have a parking lot that fits maybe 15 cars. I ordered a pink sprinkled cake donut, a maple bacon bar, and a cake donut with chocolate frosting and almond bits on top. Deliciousness. I consider myself a donut expert. This place serves all the classics and has the best glazed donut I've ever eaten. They literally melt in your mouth and are perfectly doughy. I worked at a donut shop for a few years, so I know a thing or two about donuts. This place really knows what they're doing. Their donuts are so unbelievably soft and delicious, they'll have you coming back for more over and over again. My wife and I take our dogs for a walk in their direction just so we can stop in for a sweet treat. So far, we've tried their maple bar, chocolate bar, blueberry cake donut, apple fritter, and apple crumble donut, and we have yet to be disappointed. We've come here frequently after trying their donuts instead of Legendary's. The donuts here are good quality, soft, fresh and the pricing is affordable. Donut holes are 12 for $2.00 (what a steal!) Omg so my family members have been raving about this place being their favorite donut shop (I never knew why until today) I got to try their classic glazed donut...and wow!! It melted in my mouth, if you like crispy kreme donuts then you'd love it from here! It's soft and it melts in your mouth, the glaze is not too over bearing and not too sugary, unlike most donuts which are drenched. Visited this place almost by accident. I had just finished a run and was grabbing a pound of coffee at Valhalla on Jefferson. My wife texted me and said she wanted a doughnut. Now I had just come from ruston and didnt really want to make the drive back to 6th to visit our usual place. And I remembered a place over by dorkys but couldnt remember the name, when I searched donut, Le donut came up and I thought it was the other place. When I arrived I realized I had made a mistake, but it was not a sad mistake it would seem. I believe this is a little family owned business where they have the son working. It was adorable watching the mother teach the son how to run the register and work with customers. I really like family owned businesses like this and love to support them. Long story short I grabbed a bacon maple bar, an apple fritter, and a plain glazed. Every doughnut was really good. The perfect amount of bite to softness ratio. The doughnut itself had great flavor and the glaze was amazing. So Like I said a happy little accident for sure and will definitely be one of our doughnut places in Tacoma. So fresh, so sweet, & so soft. If you're feeling adventurous try the bacon maple. A full slice of deep fried bacon lays on top of your perfect maple bar, screaming, "eat me, eat ME!!" They've recently added a few small tables to sit at. Love the man that works here. He says, only one donut?? Ahh.. the diet maple bar.. that'll be 95 dollars.
