We went to Doce Robles with my sons daughter in laws and my husband, and we all loved the wines at Doce Robles. Love the Merlot, Jimmy Mon Red, Si-Rific- Cab. Jimmy and Maribeth are so friendly. Fell in love with their dogs too. Their dogs greeted us when we got out of the car. Very friendly. They had signs all around that dogs weren't aloud. There were 6 of us and we all have dogs and had no problem with the rule. Totally understand! Will definitely go back not only for the wine, friendly owners but definitely for the dogs!

This was the last winery on the road on our way home so we decided to stop. Very cute place. The wine guy pouring the tastings was very friendly and knowledgeable The cost for tasting is $15 but if you buy something it goes towards that. I'm glad we stopped here because I have a hard time finding wine I like. It usually tastes like strong alcohol and I can never taste the oak or cherry or cedar or smoke or figs or any other flavors a bottle of wine says it has but I could actually taste flavors in these wines. I got 4 bottles for $89, 2013 Estate Zinfandel, 2 of the 2013 Estate Syrah, and Jimmymon Red. It was so hard to chose. I doubled up on the Syrah because I bought it for a friend, it's that good!

We came here after purchasing a Groupon deal for four. It was quite busy since it was Memorial Day Weekend, and we were greeted warmly by Amber who got right on to pouring our first glass and cheese and meat board. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was a fun atmosphere when I saw the gentleman wearing the DEA (Drink Every Afternoon) hat karaoking! He handed the mic to my friend and they sang along together, it was a lively energy inside! After our third pour, one of the owners came around to greet and make sure our party of four was up to speed on our pours which I appreciated a lot. The view outside is just stunning, it's a 40-acre vineyard! Our party of four had such a great time here thanks to how wonderful the experience was, and you can't beat the gorgeous view! Plus, Sophie the dog is too cute!

Doce Robles was a GREAT find! I stopped in because I purchased a Groupon. After such great wine, friendly staff and great conversation with the owner, Doce Robles is now my favorite winery in Paso! They only make red wine and they are all fabulous. I typically don't like US Malbec but Doce Robles make a fabulous one that's right up there with Argentinean Malbec. I can't say enough positive things about this place. You just need to stop in and experience it for yourself!

Excellent wine but unfortunately they had no Tempranillo today which is our favorite wine from Doce Robles. We've been to Doce Robles many times over the last several years. It's been about four years since we were last here in Paso though. We like Marybeth and Jimmy. We used to be wine club members here but we had to let it go because we were becoming wino's and concerned about the condition of our livers :) This afternoon, Jimmy was doing karaoke in the tasting room. Funny. These guys like to have fun on the job and it shows in the personality of this place. Nothing wrong with that!!! Disappointed we didn't get to see Marybeth though. By the way, she makes some great chocolate brownies. Emily was working the counter today.

Stopped in to see about getting our favorite white (Jimmymon) since it is getting to be warmer we enjoy a good chilled white at the end of the day. Jimmymon is basically a is a Viognier that had aged and became higher alcohol content then most wines (16%) Yeah if you drink a bottle you are going to be feeling like you are on da islands mon. We had a really good pourer and since we like the Jimmymon so much we picked up a case. Good stuff.

    Cheers to Doce Robles Winery!

Just wow. The wine, the pairings, the atmosphere, and the service all made for an incredible last day in Paso Robles (Just look at the pictures!). Robert and I had planned on doing a quick last wine tasting before heading back to his hometown, but the vineyard was so beautiful that we decided to stay until past sunset. The bartender was fantastic; he was friendly and very attentive, checking up on us every 15 minutes or so. He told us to "make ourselves feel at home" and really meant that, which we appreciated. Doce Robles Winery offers some really incredible light, red blends at a super affordable price. We ended up buying the JIMMYMON and the Barbera but definitely had a hard time choosing. We did a wine tour the previous day, but this ended up being our favorite place! We hope to return one day.

Absolutely terrible experience. We drove up to the tasting room and had 3 German Sheppards instantly run up to our car barking and growling. Nobody ever came out to remove dogs from truck eventhough they were biting at our tires. After waiting a few minutes to see if anybody would help, we had to carefully drive off with dogs chasing our car all the way back to the road. Plenty of other wineries to visit. Do NOT waste your time here. Should've taken video of the dogs because we called and they denied the dogs would do anything of the sort.

Attended a 'block party' at Doce Robles with many of the wineries on the west side of Paso Robles. They put in a lovely event - food and wine were good. The band was excellent. Their staff/pourers were friendly and helpful. I would definitely visit again!

My boyfriend and I went in yesterday after we came across a Groupon for wine tasting for two. Amber took care of us and was so friendly, it felt like we had known her forever! All the wines were fantastic, Jimmy really knows what he's doing. We got to explore the vineyard and play with the cutest dog ever, Sophie! Left with a bottle of the Estate Red and some other goodies. Needless to say, we had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back next time we're in Paso Robles. Thanks Doce Robles!!!

Happy Anniversary on a Tuesday! Day drinking the classy way with Wine Tasting in Paso Robles.

This place had an underwhelming exterior upon arriving, but don't let that fool you, the treasures are within. The server was very knowledgeable about the wines and the winemaking process and this was some of the best wine I had all day. The care and patience that goes into this wine is evident in the smooth tannins and impressive profiles. Try the Syr-iffic-Cab, it is delicious! Be prepared for some wines that manage to be fruit forward but somehow not sweet. This might be your favorite stop on 46!

The red wines are delicious. Compared to other wineries, Doce Robles has a good selection of wines, which is great for food pairing. Amber is a doll, very personable and welcoming. The property is slightly small but there are some nice views from the hill. Will definitely return next time we are in Paso Robles.

Jimmy Jimmy!!! You rock! Thank you for a terrific time at your vineyard. The wine was amazing, especially the Jimmy Red - that's one good blend. I came to this venue for a birthday party and it was really cozy and fun. The ambiance is very homey, service is stellar, and wine is amazing. Jimmy, the owner, is very NICE and Accommodating. His staff is also very FRIENDLY and FUN. When you're here don't forget to ask for the awesome relaxing HAYRIDE. He takes you all around his vineyard, explaining the different types of grapes. If you're visiting Paso Robles, this is a must spot to stop by. It's totally a hidden gem in Paso wine country.

Checked in for a girls wine weekend- we stay for four nights…read more The location of the property it approximately 5 miles from Paso Robles proper. It is conveniently close to all the wineries in the area. The property is newly built, opening in Fall of 2025. Free electric vehicle hook up also! Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. We used the pool/hot tub. I peeped in the exercise room plenty of activities for all. We didn't dine at the property, but the bar was fully stocked and I did enjoy a delicious Old Fashion one evening. My only complaint: as we stayed 4 nights there was no room cleaning and we ran out of towels and toilet paper. We were informed by staff rooms were cleaned every 3 days. Our room was never straightened or checked on and when we ran out of toilet paper I was informed by staff: "please come to the front desk as I am the only person on duty presently." I believe that this hotel would benefit by placing a placard regarding the checks on rooms, refill on towels/toilet paper and emptying of trash cans so guests are aware of the situation. Overall, we enjoyed our visit & would likely stay here again!

I'd rather sleep in a tent with good morning coffee than sleep in a luxury hotel with crappy morning coffee. The big gripe is that there was no coffee machine in our room. It was an espresso machine. Instructions for use were three cryptic images that made no sense. They looked like diagrams you might find on an extraterrestrial space craft. I inserted one of the four thimbles of espresso , which I mistook for instant coffee into the hole a bit crooked and when I lifted the lid to adjust it, it fell down inside the machine. I tried again and the second thimble fell inside the machine. So then I delicately inserted the 3rd thimble and it got in place ok. Still not knowing it was espresso I used a full cup of water and it made for a nasty watered down tasteless drink. Also the thimbles come in two colors. One color is decaf-- but they don't tell you which color is decaf. I inserted the 4th thimble and used 1/4 cup of water. It tasted nasty. Then my wife said, "Where's my coffee?" I told her it's all gone. She was sad. So I struggled to dismantle the machine and dig out the two unused thimbles but then I couldn't put it back together. We figured to heck with it. We will wait until the maid cleans our room and try again on day two. I went to the lobby assuming they would have complimentary coffee. BIG FANCY LUXURY HOTEL AND NO COMPLIMENTARY LOBBY COFFEE. That's nickel - dime bs. We had to dress and drive into town for coffee. I was too upset to buy their restaurant coffee. I found the maid down the hall. I asked her if she could help me reassemble my espresso machine. She said she did not know how to- which means she can't ever empty out the used thimbles. She gave me a brochure but it didn't contain any assembly instructions. We left for the day touring the region. Got back late. The maid had come and made our bed. The maid never touched our dismantled espresso machine. She did not put it back together and she did not leave us any new thimbles of coffee or more creamer. It's going to be a long three days without our morning coffee. One other gripe. At the bar one evening I ordered a shot of tequila. I specifically asked for NOT top shelf. I didn't know the brands and couldn't see the labels from my stool. He picked one for me. I said I want in NEAT. He asked if I wanted it cooled. My mistake - I said sure. He poured my shot into a tumbler of ice which melted. I got a glass nearly full. I was pleased at first. I thought he'd given me a healthy pour. I was wrong. I got a glass of watered down tequila that tasted just as bad as my watered down espresso. The cost for a shot? = $16!!!! PS if you want a great breakfast reasonably priced, and great coffee, drive a couple miles to Joe's in Templeton. .

My husband and I have been members of Templeton Tennis Ranch since the club opened 10 years ago…read more I've played tennis and pickleball at a number of other facilities/clubs throughout the county, but this club is one of the best. The location is so serene with it's large oak trees. And TTR has some of the nicest tennis players. I feel that the club is my happy place. I also want to give a shout out to the aquatics instructor, Janice, who is awesome. Her class is a total body cardio workout that accommodates all fitness levels. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a low impact fitness class that builds muscle and cardio. I also want to acknowledge TTR's general manager Chris for all that you and your staff do to make TTR a welcoming place. I have always found you to be responsive to any concerns or issues raised. I truly appreciate you and your staff.

Yikes- what a bizarre and disappointing experience. Prospective members beware that this facility…read moredoes not honor their own membership terms- nor do they upkeep or maintain their fitness center. We were happy members of TTR for about a year and a half. The outdoor facility is (mostly) a beautiful and well-maintained facility for tennis and pickleball. The pool is great. Our dues have over doubled since joining- from $85 for a Pickleball membership for two, to now $160. I am totally fine with raising prices as amenities increase- however, TTR is not maintaining the facility. Their (already small, always dusty, and limited) fitness center has deteriorated dramatically recently, with at least one (out of three) popular treadmills out of order for the past 6+ months- including one of them for several months at a stretch with no ETA. More recently, 2/3 have been wholly removed after breaking down. I visit once a week for weight training, and we play pickleball once a week- however, I primarily maintained this membership due to the previous availability of treadmills. We clean up after ourselves and are respectful of equipment and shared spaces. In January, two of their treadmills broke- meaning that if you go to the gym, odds are you will have to either use a weird niche elliptical (theirs are not modern or appealing) or do something else entirely. The straw that broke the camel's back for us was that we politely asked to hold our membership for two months, submitting our request via a dedicated online membership hold request form- an option clearly available, with a nominal hold fee, in their membership terms. The staff, who we'd always found to be friendly enough in person, was abrupt in immediately informing us that holds do not exist (it is a dedicated request form on their own web site...?), telling us to instead terminate our membership. I shared a screenshot of their own policy, within their web page, thinking that they were mistaken or confused, to which they responded that holds are only for post-surgery or due to injury with a doctor's note. This is very clearly not the case within their own terms and conditions- see screenshot. They specify only that a hold *can* be extended beyond 3 months if due to injury, but not that it is a pre-requisite for a hold. I asked for additional clarity in where this is indicated, and for them to please revisit my request, again respectfully, and my initial question was ignored- the second attempt to follow up when ignored was met again with only the link to terminate the membership. Zero response from there, despite a final attempt. Ironically, I have an injury requiring an impending MRI which prevents me from fully utilizing the benefits of this membership- but the attitude and immediate abrasiveness from their staff left such a gross taste in our mouths that we did not bother to disclose this. What a fascinating business model, pushing your members to quit and stonewalling when asked to answer basic questions regarding your own policies. We will gladly take our business elsewhere and share our experience with others as a cautionary experience, as they seem to desire their current members do, but man, what a trip. I wholly do NOT recommend TTR for the poor upkeep of the fitness center and bizarre, poor customer/member service. ------ Editing in response to the GM, who I have also messaged directly with additional information and the offer of forwarding his staff's emails in case helpful: My dues did not increase $75 within a single month, nor did I state that they had. That increase from $85 to $160 (for a couple) took place in increments over the course of a year and a half. I had no complaints about this until the fitness center fell apart and the customer service experience revealed itself to be a disaster. Price increases over time are expected if a place is maintained properly (*if), especially with the pool opening. However- I am not going to the trouble of holding or paying for a membership in the future at this establishment considering the poor member experience and customer service experience. I did not mention my injury, because no policy available to members indicated the need to. My advice for management: Maybe invest in hiring staff that isn't chasing your membership out the door as quickly and rudely as they can?
