I needed transmission fluid asap, and the Dmaxstore came thru in a hurry. Look forward to doing business with you.

These guys went above and beyond. I took my LB7 in to have some glow plugs and steering work done. I also asked a million questions (some were probably dumb) but robbie answered them all.I bought my LB7 a year ago I used it to tow my bumper pull trailer. We upgraded and bought a 5th wheel and I wanted to have the Dmax store go over my truck with a fine tooth comb. Very reasonable on price and they do not BS you.

Well, driving our diesel pusher motorhome on our first leg of our journey from Acton to Bishop our…read moreAC went from cold to warm about 1/2 way through the desert. I smelled a slight odor similar to truck brakes that have been used too much down hill. I assumed everything was okay because no lights came on and no gauge indications had changed. The only thing different was it was very warm in the cabin. Our final destination was Idaho. We pulled in to Bishop and backed the Motorhome in our friends driveway then shut off the motor. AND THEN... Smoke came billowing from the back of the rig... OH CRAP was our only thought. After taking some fire prevention actions, the serpentine belt that turns pulleys for the alternator, water pump, and, yes, the AC, melted off and fell to the ground. That was Monday June 10, 2019. I spent Tuesday hunting down everyone in Bishop qualified and able to work on diesel engines and replace an AC compressor. That netted me ONE business, namely Britts Diesel. They have an excellent reputation in town, however, they could not fit me in for two weeks. I don't have two weeks of my life to just sit around waiting to get an AC compressor replaced. Britts Diesel said I would have to get my rig towed to them. Turns out the closest tow truck that can haul a 43' diesel pusher is in Gardnerville which is about 180 miles away. The cost was $300.00 an hour port to port. WOW!! So I called GUIDED TRUCK AND REPAIR in Gardnerville Nevada... This turned out to be the best call I have EVER made regarding ANY BUSINESS transaction... EVER!!! Kory basically dropped everything for us because he knew we were 100% stranded. He had two weeks worth of work in front of him also. However, he had pity on us because of our situation and because we live in our motorhome. We ended up having the motorhome towed all the way to Gardnerville and to GUIDED TRUCK AND REPAIR. This for same price as it would have cost for the tow truck to come from Gardnerville to get us, tow us only a few miles to Britts Diesel in Bishop, and then return to his home town of Gardnerville. Kory at GUIDED TRUCK AND REPAIR was so incredibly professional, so polite, so respectful, so accommodating, and every other compliment you can give a person in customer service. Kory was truly a blessing in many ways including an excellent mechanic. The rest of the details really don't matter for this Yelp review. However, for the "take away" of this real life experience, please know how much this customer truly appreciates Kory and the entire crew at GUIDED TRUCK AND REPAIR in Gardnerville Nevada. They are beyond amazing and professional and polite genuine GOOD PEOPLE!!!!! THANK YOU, Kory, April, and Becky!!! Thank you!!!

We had some sort of a leak in our new motorhome. Normally, we take it to Cummins in Sparks for…read moreservice and repairs (an hour drive). But we found Guided Truck on a web search and decided to give them a call. These people are amazing! Corey immediately took the time to search for the leak. At first we thought it was hydraulic, but since it wasn't leaking when we brought it to them, it was hard to identify where it was coming from. Corey did find a coolant leak, then a small hydronic leak. Later, Corey offered to come to our house and look at where it leaked on our garage floor. He confirmed the large leak was coolant. Corey ordered our parts, and set us up with another appointment. I can't say enough about everyone at this shop...From the owners, Paul and April, to Corey and the other mechanics. These folks are honest, reliable and reasonable. When we brought it in for the coolant leak repair, it was done quickly and we were able to pick up our motorhome later that day. While there, I asked them if they would bolt a hitch onto our Jeep, and they did that for us too. It is so rare to find a business like this. They've earned our trust. These guys are very impressive!!

Hats off to this fine repair facility. I recently found myself stranded about 45 miles from their…read moreshop, and arranged a tow. I spoke with them by phone, told them what I needed repaired, and gave them the information on my vehicle. I wouldn't be able to get there by closing, and they offered electrical hookup if I needed it since I would be spending the night in my rig. Their first tech was there at 7:30 the next morning, and soon started work on my vehicle. They had pre-ordered the part, and thanks to their rapid and skilled help I was soon on my way. Their pricing was extremely fair, and their quick service, knowing I was on vacation, was greatly appreciated. Thanks again to all of them that helped save my vacation!

We were attending an UTV/ATV Jamboree about 35miles from Gardnerville, when a bracket holding our springs on our toyhauler snapped off. We called and Bob explained to my husband how to best secure the spring to be able to get it to him for repair. We made an appt and parked the trailer in on lot and they got to work on it immediately. My husband asked if he would be able to repack the wheel bearings and do a brake inspection. No problem. He suggested a place to go for breakfast that was dog friendly (best breakfast ever). While we were there Bob called and asked if we could come back by he wanted to show us a couple of things. Great...all I could here was $$$. He pointed out that the other bracket was about to fail, he showed us our tires, on the outside they looked perfectly fine but on the inside they were severely cracked and should have been replaced a before we even set out on the trip, but who looks at the backside of their tires? Bob and his guys Jerry and I can't recall the other service person, did a throrough inspection of the trailer. They kept us informed every single step of the way. Bonus was that they allowed us to spend the night on the lot and provided us with electricity, offered us coffee in the morning. We had them replace the tires and as soon as they arrived they stopped and got them mounted and on the trailer and on our way home. As I walked into the office to pay, assuming that as an out of towner with a repair that had to be fixed and with the added extras I was about to be way overcharged...to my surprise when handed the bill I questioned the amount..."are you sure this is correct? This seems way to low" she reassured me that it was indeed correct. We checked a few places prior to picking Bob's and just for the welding of the brackets was just as much as our total bill. Welding the brackets, repacking the wheel bearing, complete brake job, four new tires and a few other minor things, letting us stay on site and just the warm and friendly staff was well worth what we spent. I left feeling 100% confident that everything was A OK for our travels home. Thank you so very much Bob and your staff. Terri & Rich and Nova (corgi)

The car was towed to Mark Smith Les Schwab in Gardnerville.. I don't expect them to keep the tire in stock so they told me it would be 2 days to get the tire.. They said i can go to get the new tire myself if i wanted the car earlier.. So I drove about 140 miles round trip and brought tire to them the next day.. The people who work there are great, very nice... The first guy told me it would be 60.00 to remove the blown tire and replace with a new one including ballancing and the tire dump fee.. Well I thought this was extremely high... When the work was done they charged me 52.99.. So i got the car back and brought it home... I kept thinking 53.00 is ALOT OF MONEY for the work.. So i called a competitor, just one.. There price was 28.00!! The reason the charge was so hight at Schwabb is because of CORPORATE!! I called the Corporate office and they could not care less..This is not my first time at this store.. They. manage to SCREW UP 3 brake jobs.. One screw up nearly got my wife killed.. The new brakes they put on were the wrong ones.. The brake hose was cut open by the hose rubbing on the inside of the wheel.... So the fluid came out resulting in NO BRAKES!.. Another job they did was on my F250s rear brakes.. They put the adjusters on backwards.. so instead of the brakes expanding while stopping in reverse they were expanding going forwards... They could not fix it so they gave me a refund and told me to take it to the dealer... so i did and Schwabb also broke the emergency brake cable... I would not take my lawn mower to them... I guess Corporated does not know who puts food on their table.... Never again..
