We started taking our 2003 GMC Duramax LB7 here about a year and a half ago. It needed the typical injector replacement that these LB7s tend to require every 100,000 miles (if you're lucky). We also opted in for the Air Dog filters to be installed; this prolongs the life of the injectors. There were a couple of other items that needed attention, and we decided to get those done as well; suspension, power steering. In the past year, we've also had emissions issues, chirping noises, and water pump failures all addressed by the folks at the Dmax Store, and all the service has been stellar! I've had conversations with Kevin, Robbie, Chad, and Nick, and you couldn't ask for a better group of guys to handle your Duramax questions or issues! They're all knowledgeable, they listen carefully and address your concerns with the expertise you'd expect from an honest garage/shop. They also return phone calls promptly! I waited a while to write this review because I know just one experience is not always an accurate gauge on how consistently a business operates. If you own a duramax or are thinking of purchasing one, you MUST come see these guys. Chad and Robbie are great, they tell you what you need and don't try to oversell you. They just tell you what your rig needs to keep it going for as long as possible. There prices on parts CANNOT be beat. Go ahead, try to find a cheaper price, you won't. They ship all over the United States (probably further) and they have a wearhouse full of the parts you need for your truck. All of the techs are very helpful and customer service oriented. They charge a great price on oil changes, and all services, and the techs are very thorough. If you call and it goes to voicemail, leave one. They make sure to get back to you. Finding what I needed was easy and fast. Prices were good for what I was needing. I asked a question of customer service and they had the answer almost immediately. Would buy from DMAX again. Shipped parts quickly and they were well packaged. Now if I can only get the truck out of the driveway and to my mechanic to install these injectors. UPDATE: S&S SAC00 Injectors installed. I have a new truck! My LB7 has never idled as smooth or quietly. No Smoke, No Haze, Minimal Diesel stink, fuel mileage is back where it should be. We are getting 22-24 mpg on the highway empty and running the speed limits. Very pleased with the product. My Mechanic said that they loved the fact that the install kit had everything they needed to do the job in one package. For all you duramax owners: this is the only place you should bring your truck. This shop has consistently exceeded my expectations and provides sound advice, expert repairs and true customer care which is rare in this day. A dealership is a revolving door of mediocre service with steep premiums. At dmax store you'll find guys that appreciate their skill set/workmanship and go above and beyond. Case in point, on a holiday weekend(July 4th), Friday afternoon around 4:30 I had a breakdown on the hwy towing a trailer. It was 100 degrees out and I called Chad at DMAX, he was able to diagnose the issue over the phone, and sent Nick out to do a field repair! I was back on the road under an hour. I'd like to say this I was driving down hwy 50 and all of sudden my GMC made a horrible swishing sound and I was sure I blew the turbo and I lost a lot of power and blew a lot of black smoke out the exhaust so I had it towed to dmax because they've done work on it before and I told them I think I blew the turbo and they could have said oh yes we have to replace the turbo and it would have cost 4000 dollars but instead they called me and said it just blew a boot on the turbo and I asked them what the price was and he 96 dollars to replace the boot . We had a great experience getting our 2004 pick up repaired here. This was the third shop we took it, to diagnose a shifting issue . The first two shops recommended we replace the transmission. My husband's gut instinct told him that wasn't the issue & after speaking to Robbie, he didn't feel that was the issue either . We had our truck towed 83 miles to the DMaxstore and Robbie was right ! They replaced the transfer case , fixed the problem, & saved us thousands of dollars! Robbie was great at communicating & the truck was repaired very quickly! I had a last minute trip to LA come up and was in need of tires on my (2013 DenaliHD) Chad fit me in the cracks of his schedule and hooked up a badass leveling kit with A-arms, fox shocks, alignment, tires mounted and balanced and out the door within 6 hours!
