I was a big fan of the New Orleans location of dmac's and I was quite happy to discover the Orange Beach, AL location of dmac's. I always found the friendly staff and patrons here made this joint a pleasure to experience. They had fantastic burgers which were the best in Alabama to me! They also upgraded their menu from the New Orleans location by offering some amazing seafood platters. The live music nights had seemed to be getting very popular and I enjoyed all my visits here. Unfortunately I noticed that they didn't reopen after labor day and then I saw their signs get taken down and when I looked at the door there was a sign announcing that dmac's was closed. Overall, I hope they find a new spot and open again as they really were doing some great things! read more

Lester's Restaurant, then Sauced, and then Fish House Seafood Restaurant at 24821 Canal Rd, Orange Beach. But now it's DMAC's Bar & Grill and like their other location, in New Orleans, is known for its live music, great atmosphere, and tasty food. Indeed they feature some of the best local musicians and bands every night of the week, which is a great idea.  Along with the entertainment, their kitchen serves up hearty grilled burgers, pulled pork, ribs, and sides. The only seafood here is a shrimp remoulade over chips, but 8 different kinds of burgers, with BBQ brisket, pork, ribs, and chicken served different ways and some good apps so it's basically a BBQ joint.  The atmosphere at DMAC's is lively, welcoming, and good for a night out with friends, neighbors , or family. I just brought our Friends & Neighbors Friday group here today and everyone seemed to enjoy the experience. DJ Kev was providing entertainment, always good, and our host manager Stephanie took great care of our group as well as our server Madison, thank you! You can also catch the latest sports games on TV while enjoying their full bar.  DMAC's Bar & Grill is open for lunch, with daily specials, and dinner, plus a Sunday brunch and piano bar. this was the first place we ate at once we arrive in orange beach for our family vacation. it set the bar high for our expectations in restaurants. bbq was great. the ribs were the standout. the dmac burger was HUGE but excellent. kids enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. the restaurant itself was large and spacious. read more

I was invited by a friend who's a regular and I'm so glad she did! I had been reluctant to go in (no good reason) and now it's going to be a favorite! Live music was great that night (though a little loud to have a conversation). I had the lemon pepper chicken wings and they were the best I've ever had. Husband had an angus burger and thought it was very good. We met Stephanie, the owner, and that just leveled up the experience because she was awesome! We're a golf cart ride away and looking forward to constant visits, especially when they open for breakfast! read more

Decided to try Dmacs Best burger in OBA. Wings were also fantastic. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

We came here trying to find a new bbq place in OBA. We came on a Wednesday evening at 5:30 and were the only patrons in the restaurant the entire time we were there. Food took unusually long being the only patrons, but not obnoxiously long. The pulled pork and Mac n cheese were excellent. Everything else at our table was bland at best. Burger and chicken received negative reviews by kids who love burgers and chicken. Brisket was VERY dry, like eating cardboard. But the icing on the cake was the garnishes on the side. One single piece of onion was WRAPPED multiple times in a pube! (See pictured). We did not find this out until after we were mostly done eating. Unfortunately, this is an automatic 1 star review. Without said pube-wrapped onion it was a 2.5-3 star. We will not be back due to being traumatized! read more

This is a BBQ joint that doesn't even have a pulled pork sandwich on the menu, but if you ask they will serve you one. Don't ask. It was sub par and they charge $16. It came with onion rings that are terrible. The only thing worse was the lady attempting to sing Jazz. There were 2 of us and not one other customer in the place. Excellent BBQ brisket and pulled pork. We usually order take out but have also dined in to enjoy live music. Prices about typical for a resort town but they do have specials. Restaurant layout is a bit odd but good view of tv's if watching sports. A worthwhile stop if you want a laid back, avoid the crowds scene with good food. read more

We have eaten there three times since it opened four weeks ago. The food is delicious! Tonight I had the brisket which was the best I have ever eaten! David was our server and so attentive. All the food we ate here was delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich. They served the pulled pork with the barbecue sauce on the side. The pork had good flavor and didn't need any sauce. The hamburger patty was thick and cooked perfectly with the right amount of grill marks on it. The bread pudding was excellent! It's one of the best we've had in a long time! I thoroughly enjoyed the music. The singer had an amazing voice accompanied by a skilled guitar player. This was a great place to get delicious food and listen to good music! read more

Great bar !! Group of 15 came in for football game, cocktails and drinks. Set for 15 minutes with no service for a drink to start! I personally took the drink order for the second table and delivered self. Finally got menus / waitress took orders - everyone got their food. Not me. Waitress came back and asked. Still no dinner. Finally another person from the group went and asked. Also - more disturbing - the manager didn't help at all! Walked around while the one bartender got her behind handed to her and did nothing to help! No one ever came to ask if anyone wanted another drink. We are on vacation! understaffed badly!
