They honestly change the prices off and on. They don't organize their pricing correctly. For example, One day you'll walk in paying $25 for refill then the next you come in you end up paying $50... it's honestly ridiculous.

Place is good but I went to get a nail fixed and the lady didn't even look at the other nails to see if they were even and made the new nail smaller then the rest and longer. Probably won't go back to diva nails I personally don't like the service?

So, I wasn't going to leave this review- I was just never going to come back…read more So I was getting Gel X done with extensions, the girl who helped me trimmed my cuticle and caused me to bleed a lot. In her panic, she put super glue on my cut to stop the bleeding, then put a washcloth back on it to stem the bleeding but ended up supergluing the washcloth to my finger. She then ripped the washcloth off my finger (which HURT) and had to spend 5min tweezing off the bits of washcloth that were not glued to my finger. She also gaslit me and said my skin was so thick, so it was my fault. Not only that- but she often applied too much glue and had to keep redoing her applications. Even after that horrific experience- I was going to let it go. I even tipped her $30 because I'm too nice and hate conflict. But we're barely 3 days in having these nails and already my thumb nail popped off in front of my friggin boss. Beware of this place. There's a reason why some people never return.

Today, the quality was lacking but I know that's not usual. I was quoted a 15 minute wait time and waited 25-30. They were really nice and gave me water. I also had to have gel paint removed from my toes, so that took an extra 10mins (no extra charge). Although, the menu says a pedicure is 25 mins, I was there an hour not including my wait time. In the end she didn't massage my legs or do lotion, just some oil and a hot towel. They didn't even help me put my sandals back on, she just went straight to the desk to wait for me to pay. If the pedicure process has changed, I'd prefer the menu description options reflect that. I noticed a difference in customer service as time went on and I declined a manicure. Oh well.

I found this unnecessary and very inconsiderate, especially as I was already comfortable and receiving my service. Good customer service should include clear communication, courtesy, and respect for customers who are already being serviced. Unfortunately, I did not experience that here. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this salon and will be taking my business elsewhere.

When I asked her if she can fix she said yes but I'll have to charge possibly, I will need to speak to my boss. This is horrible, the right thing to do should have been to correct the color to make the client happy and not keep looking like a clown. No respect nor consideration. She took the money but never offered to make this issue better the day of. She also cut my hair, horrible didn't even part, literally cut straight across. Horrible person, says she been doing hair 10 years. IVY needs to go back to school and learn to cut, color and make her customers happy. Your loss IVY I would have kept going for touch up but you SUCK!

I've been going to Diva Nails & Spa since I moved to San Diego in 2018, and they've been my go-to ever since. I originally found them on Yelp because I was looking for an all-in-one salon--and they truly deliver. I've had my nails, lashes, eyebrows, and even microblading done here over the years, and they've never disappointed. I first started with Anne, who was amazing, but she left during COVID to care for a family member. Since then, I've built such a great routine with the team. Amy does my lashes (and sometimes my pedicures), Summer is my nail tech, and Tiffany takes care of my pedicures. I've been with them for a long time now, and the consistency and quality keep me coming back. The salon itself is always busy--which says a lot. It's a larger space, about the size of a few suites combined, and it stays packed. Because of that, I always recommend booking at least a day or two in advance. Occasionally there's a short wait, but that's expected in any service-based business, especially when clients are getting detailed nail designs. What really stands out to me is how reliable they are and how comfortable they make you feel. I recommend Diva Nails & Spa to everyone--friends, family, anyone who asks about my nails, lashes, or pedicures. They've truly been a staple for me. Five stars, without a doubt. read more

Walked in this afternoon to have a pedicure & my nails done .Choose my color got my pedi done first, I got the $26 dollar pedicure I believe its #3 in the book of options they give you , & was totally not the color I choose the lady tried to match it the best she can but I wasnt satisfied I felt pressured to choose a color . When I was getting my nails done The lady told me sorry the color chart are sometimes wrong so then I told my boyfriend since i was already getting my nails done if he can go to the nail polishes & choose a similar color because i did not like the color they were bringing me and the lady acted like he was going to steal something (literally screamed across the room) ...when I finally got the color I wanted I asked if they can change my toes to match my nails & they said it would be an extra $5 I didnt go for the cheapest pedi so i tought that was unfair .She cut me twice and wasnt careful when she seen blood in my cuticle and the side of my finger . UPDATE GUYS!! From my previous negative yelp review posted, today KRISTY TRAN an employee at Diva Nails messaged me questioning why I didn't stop the nail tech speaking negative about me if I understood her language. Obviously this place is covering up for one another and they don't care about their customers.... all they care about is the money walking in the door. This lady Kristy charges $10.00 to even schedule an appt with her, I guess she didn't think I would notice she's an employee!!! If this was a respectful nail salon who really cares about their customers, the business manager would try to amend/apologize for the way I was treatment, but instead I get harassed by an employee!!! read more

Ive been looking for a nail lady to be faithful to and Kristy is now that lady!! She is always easy to get ahold of and gets back to me in a timely manner. Has even squeezed me in when it was an emergency and I just met her last year. She is so friendly and talented!! I am very boring with my choices so I ask her suggestions and she always adds something that I end up loving while making sure to still get my actual request done. And her work is QUALITY!! Diana did an amazingggg job. I had previously gotten my nails done at a different salon & they were terrible. The shape was ugly, I asked for matte so they buffed my nails to make it "matte," just awful all around. I came to diva nails this time & didn't have to tell Diana hardly anything. She fixed my shape right up how coffin is supposed to look. I am VERY particular with my nails but she did them perfectly! Took her time on the polish as well, got all the edges. This place is acrosss the street from where a live and I loved it it's the first time that I go I went in for a full set it was a busy Saturday morning but they took me in within minutes I was already in a chair I loved the variety of gel colors and the different designs you can get done . My nails were not filed down evenly, the design is not what I wanted and when I asked for them to change it I got very nasty looks and ladies begrudgingly doing my nails. I love this place! I try other places but nothing compares to Diva. I don't even live close but I will drive to get my nails done here. Sometimes the wait is long but sometimes it's not. They also have SO many colors/designs to choose from it's hard to look at them all but that's what makes this place so amazing! Plenty of options. I have never had a bad experience here. I called half an hour before I arrived and was impressed by how huge the salon was. Summer did an amazing job on my nails. Clean store, staffs were very professional. Had some old school music playing in the background which was cool. They had a few spa pedicure seats and manicure stations. This visit was for a pedicure. Got seated in one of the spa massage chairs. They have books of nail polish colors that you can choose from. There was a good selection of colors. Just got the basic pedicure and added on the callus remover. For the callus remover, she scrubbed extra hard. Not enough to hurt, but close to it. I did not inspect the finished product too closely before leaving. But, afterwards, noticed that the polish color was slightly lighter and did not have the shimmer like the polish that was selected. However, that's my fault as she did ask me if the color was OK. Also noticed a spot on one nail and noticeable brush strokes in the nail polish. Not bad enough got me to go back and ask to get it fixed. But, definitely far from perfect. Overall, this place is average. Not bad and not great. But, a quick place to stop by and get the job done.

On top of that I went there a week ago to get my nails done Kathy's husband the shop owner did my nails. I left there with acrylic on my skin lumps in my nails. It look like a five year-old in my nails. 0 star review!!!

I would respectfully not recommend this establishment based on my experience. The services are…read moresignificantly overpriced, and unfortunately, the service I received did not match what I specifically requested. As a first time customer, I expected quality and attention to detail, but I was left disappointed. Additionally, I was charged for the use of the massage chair even though it was never turned on and I did not receive that service. Charging customers for amenities they did not actually use is unacceptable and reflects poor business practices. Moreover, milking a paying customer is very unfortunate. Overall, I did not feel that the quality of service justified the price I paid. I hope the owners take customer feedback seriously and improve both their service and billing practices for future clients. Please do better.

I liked her recommendation and chose a design that at my old salon would have cost almost double the price. I will definitely make this my new nail salon and Tina my new nail technician. The salon is located in a very busy shopping center. It is not too big inside. They don't have an extensive nail polish wall like most salons do but I was happy I found what I wanted and they do accept walk ins.

I had a long day and am also pregnant, so I was really hoping to unwind and relax. I did make an appointment and even came in earlier than I preferred, but I still had to wait quite a while. While my feet were soaking, the nail technician asked if she could do another client's eyebrows, and I agreed thinking it would be quick. It ended up taking about 20 minutes, and then another eyebrow client was taken as well. After being there for around 40 minutes with my pedicure still not started, I canceled my other appointment for the evening and asked her to take whoever she needed so she wouldn't feel rushed with me. The technician was kind, and I tried to stay calm and make the best of it, but the pedicure itself felt rushed. My feet weren't cleaned as thoroughly as I would have liked, and there was a small cut that caused bleeding toward the end. On the positive side, my toes did come out really beautiful. The service was $30, which is very affordable, and I do think you get what you pay for. While I appreciated the friendliness, the overall experience wasn't as relaxing as I had hoped. I would like to come back but I most likely won't be back.

My nails were grown out a bit and painted black coming in and I wanted to switch up the color a little bit for my birthday but nothing too crazy. I decided on a blush colored cat eye polish. The woman who did my service was nice and quiet. I'm not generally a chatty person when I'm getting something done somewhere so I had my headphones on watching dramas. She was gentle with my hands which I appreciated. I've been some places where my wrist hurts afterwards. The only questions she asked was how short to cut them and if I liked the shape. The shape is different than what I came in with but it doesn't look bad. They have a bit more of a rounded apex when you look for the side and I like them more flat but it's not a big deal. It's just preference. I also got my eyebrows waxed. There's a small room right are the beginning of the hallway that is overcrowded for its size but serves its purpose. She was quick and efficient with my eyebrows. No complaints. The general feel of the place of slightly crowded because they have a lot of stations and pedicure chairs. The staff that didn't have clients were just scattered around doing their own thing. It seems like a nice place. Calm. I would go back if I needed to in a pinch and my regular person isn't available.
