Nope. Nada. This place changes hands frequently and cannot get it going here. Apathetic employees, the vibe is off, and they really want to upsell. Their checkout folks are inadequate and charged me twice for the service. I had to call my credit card company to get them to reverse the charge. This is also a really small salon and you are packed in tight. I am not a Germ a phobe and it even weirds me out a bit being so close to the people beside you. read more

I have been to Diva Nails many times, but after today's experience, I am done. Several times when I had an appt. I would arrive and the tech I had requested had just started on someone, so I knew it would be a long wait. The issue is, they take walk-ins, so if the person you have an appt. with started 10 minutes ago with a walk-in, you are in for a wait. Today my appt. was with a tech I had a month ago who I liked, so I booked her again. I could see she had just begun on someone else, so I waited a 1/2 hour for my pedicure to start. I did not say anything as I was not in a hurry, but was still annoyed. If they know there is going to be a wait, why don't they call and notify you? They have your phone number. I could tell they were urging her to hurry up as they had her start with me before she had painted the toes of her previous client. Someone came and finished her job. She hurried through my pedicure, skipping the massage, and then someone else came to paint my toes in a hurried and haphazard fashion. She was not even going to put the final clear coat on until I asked for it. While my nails were still wet, she put on my shoes, ruining several nails. When I make an appt., I expect it to be honored, and I expect the full treatment as I am paying full price. I want a relaxing experience; I do not want my tech to be harassed to finish quickly and I certainly do not want someone else to finish the job who I had not requested. So, I am done with Diva Nails. There are too many other salons to choose from in the area which hopefully can provide a better experience. read more

Ly is the best! She is meticulous, and my dip usually lasts at least 3 weeks. I go for short and clean because they hardly ever chip and will have to have them done again only due to grow out. However, I've seen her artistic talent in many longer styles with tips etc. read more

This was the worst nail salon I've ever been to near the bluffton area. The nail salon was empty when I arrived which should've been a dead giveaway that they were terrible. As soon as I sat down with the gentleman I showed him a picture of what exactly I wanted then went into detail about how he couldn't do what design I wanted. After even changing what I wanted to get done he still managed to mess it up bad. As he was doing the dip powder he was grabbing big chunks and slapping it on the nail and overall he just didn't know what he was doing. As he was going around my cuticles with the electric tool he nicked 2 of my fingers and cause blood shed and he left most of my cuticles messy as hell because he kept cutting my fingers. 33 dollars for a gel fill-in which is expensive for the area. I've never paid more than $25 for a fill-in around Bluffton. I wouldn't be upset about it if the job were done correctly, but I left with nail polish all over the sides of my fingers and big chunks cut out of my skin. Not happy. read more

The one time I had no internet reception and stumbled into a nail salon without looking at reviews Save your money folks. I needed my gel removed and wanted a gel mani. My nails were wrapped for over 45 minutes. I asked if I could use the tool to remove the gel, as my nails and skin were burning. If you remove the foils and don't remove the gel, it'll harden. That defeats the purpose. Someone finally came over and at that point my nails had curled. I was relieved to have the gel off but so disappointed with the new gel polish. The polish was all on and around my cuticles. Which means the gel will last a shorter time. The gel was thinly placed on, scratched very easily and within 4 days, the polish started chipping. Not to mention all of my nails were a different length and shape. Within a week the gel started completely pulling up. This is absolutely unacceptable. Not only was the technician not properly trained but the salon's gel product isn't as good a quality as the products use elsewhere. read more

I had 2 pedicures which were good so I went back for a manicure and she cut my cuticles too close and drew blood, never went back!!!

If I could give zero I would. My elderly parents and I were there a month ago and the man cut my mom's toe. Drew blood and I watched her agonizing pain. Went back I today (my mistake) and the owner talked me into dip vs. gel and it looks horrible. She didn't take care of my cuticles and the result looks very dirty. I called to say wanted a free redo and she was super rude. After my mother had complained after she was hurt she was rude as well saying we need an appointment next time. This place is in Sun City and I think they victimize the elderly because they are convenient. The Nail Bar isn't that much further and they are excellent! read more

Amazing!! I am from NYC and travel for work. It's always difficult to find a great nail spa and get a gel manicure and pedicure that is worth the cost. This spot is GREAT!!! It's clean and quiet and the staff is incredible. They take their time with your nails and make sure you are relaxed. They helped me match the red colors I wanted for my hands and feet and the outcome is really great. I'm disappointed I won't be nearby for my next mani!! Awesome job!! read more

I just returned from diva nails, where I had an appointment for a pedicure. I waited for 15 minutes and could see that none of the technicians would be free for some time. I asked the manager if my appointment was not going to work as I had been waiting. I could not understand her response clearly, perhaps someone showed up late? Anyway, this is the second time this has happened to me and I wasn't going to wait a half hour or more this time. I was very polite but told her I was leaving. She was very apologetic. Had it been the first time, I would have been more understanding. I believe they take walk-ins even though there are upcoming appointments. They have lost me as a customer. To be frank, their work is just so so and they are more expensive than other salons in the area. I only used them as they are close to my house and it is usually calm in the salon. I went because I won a gift card in a charity raffle. I was nervous but I was in good hand with Tina. Tina talked me through everything she was doing, I got a pedicure and a manicure and felt relaxed the whole time. I wouldn't have come unless I had the gift card but I will definitely come back again just for the experience alone. It's cheaper than therapy and my cuticles look dank af my guy. read more

I went In for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. The guy I got was sick and coughing and wiping his nose the whole time. He made horrible conversation which made me feel really uncomfortable.He could not paint nails. It was not smooth,very clumpy and I still had paint on my toes when he was done. It looked like something I did myself. When I went to get my eyebrows done, I asked the lady to repaint them. She told me he would and I told her I did not want him to. She literally chiseled off the gel instead of wrapping my nails in acetone and aluminum foil, and letting that do the work. I was charged $20 to change the color of my polish!. I usually plan to get a pedicure before I leave for vacation but didn't have the time this trip! The salon was able to accommodate me and my daughter very quickly, same day for a mani and pedi. The salon is clean, the tools are sanitized and my technician took her time at each step which made for a more relaxed experience. The price is very fair for the service. This place was awful! They took no time and just rushed through everything. I went to get a polish change and the lady wouldn't even take off my previous polish I had on I had to remind her! Then I told her what I wanted and it took two minutes for her to do an awful job and I just wanted to get out of their so I just dried my nails and left. What a lifesaver Mia is. I went through two other nail salons in four months and no matter what they did my nails kept breaking. They tried acrylics, gels, no matter what they did every week I broke 2 nails for the first time in my life. First time I went to Mia she looked at my nails and knew immediately what they were doing wrong. They look great, don't break, and they look great for weeks. Had a terrible and humiliating experience today. Happily went in for my 4:30 appt. today, Tuesday, my only day off this week. I work every single Monday 11-5, and Mia immediately jumped down my throat and very loudly accused me of not showing up yesterday for my "Monday" appt.. Obviously someone wrote it in the book incorrectly. I offered to show her my schedule for the month, and she angrily berated me again, and added that I also didn't pick up the phone when they called me. (because yesterday I was at work, not at home-duh!). She went on and on-would not listen. She may be good at doing nails, but she has absolutely NO PEOPLE SKILLS. She was incredibly, unbelievably, rude and fresh! There were at least 7 customers and as many techs in the shop listening to this whole scene. She was so obnoxious, that one woman who was finishing her pedicure came over and said to Mial loud enough for everyone in the shop to hear, "You not only totally ruined her (meaning me) nail experience, but mine as well. I will never be back!" This Mia should not have a job dealing with people. Joanne, my tech has always been great, very skilled, and has a wonderful sweet personality, but don't get Mia! Sooner or later you will also get her attitude. This is the second time I have heard her go off on a customer like this.
