I have been coming for a few years for pedicures. I used to go somewhere else but after a friend suggested I meet her here I never looked back. The owner and techs are so nice, they always recognize me and are so helpful when I ask questions, and patient when I take time to decide. They talk walk ins too but I like calling ahead to set up a time. I have brought other family members here too and they always have a positive experience. Honestly the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. The tech was extremely rude, even saying "oh my god" to me when I didn't understand what he wanted me to do. He also painted my toes at the manicure station despite me telling him I'm third trimester and couldn't sit like that. Worst experience ever. Daughters nails looked like some one glued chiclets to them. They are lumpy, too thick and crooked!!!! So I went In with and Inspo picture. Some how I went from wanting a French done to an ugly cat eye green. I'm the type of person that gets nervous to say anything at the time.The shaping was ok but my actual nail can still be seen! So I came back in for rio which is who did my nails and he told me my nails grow fast which I took a pic right after I got them and you can see my nail still. Anyways told be I could pay for a fill and pay for a color change. Also he didn't cover my entire nail in polish. There where so many minors wrong it made them horrible. I walked into the salon without an appointment and was greeted and shown to a chair. I'm a cosmetologist and am very aware of the proper way to disinfect and sanitize equipment and areas used where clients sit. I have been looking for a nail salon that follows all state board rules and regulations, and this one, from what I saw, did not. They didn't even change the towel after the lady a few seats down from me was done. The file and buffer the nail artist used was obviously used on tons of other clients, and that was disgusting. Luckily they did have disinfectant solution on each station, but I didn't see one nail artist use it to clean any of their equipment. Most of them just put it right back in the drawer after they used it on a client. I didn't necessarily see once I left if they went to the back and cleaned everything, but seeing with how quick they were, I'm guessing they didn't. I appreciated that it only took about 30 minutes for a gel manicure. I'm all about not spending more time than I have to anywhere, and I do like how they shaped my nails. Overall, I am happy with my nails. However, I probably won't be back. read more

My mom decided to treat us to getting manicures and pedicures here. I was so excited as I have never gotten acrylic nails before, I've only had cheap press ons. I'm sad to say my Impress nails by Kiss (that you can buy at Walmart for under $10) look so much better than the nails I was given today. Pedicure was first. Our appointment was at 1PM and we waited 30 minutes, which was not a problem. My technician was new, but he did a good job. The woman who did my mom's feet rushed through her entire pedicure and was so rough on her feet that she was hurting my mom through every step. The owner stepped in for my pedicure and painted my toes poorly. My pinky toe is not completely covered in polish. My mom's toes are coated unevenly and the top coat doesn't cover all of the polish on the nail. It looks very sloppy. Then the owner took me to do my nails and it was a terrible experience. My nails look like they are tilted and go upwards instead of being straight. All of my nails are uneven, different thicknesses, and shaped very strangely. They are also too short for my preference. My nails are not painted all the way and there is visible nail by my cuticle that was left bare. Devices used to cut and sand the nail were not washed between uses and looked dusty. Brush used to meld the acrylic to the nail did not look like it was never cleaned. My nails look ok, but for as much as my mom paid, we are both completely dissatisfied. My mom's nails also do not look the best nor professional. The man who did her nails was rude to her and most of her nails point in funny ways. She had to ask him to fix them multiple times and he looked completely bored and uninterested. Overall, we are completely upset and dejected. For $112 plus tip, this is not the quality of work we deserve. We will not be coming back and will be looking into if we can get our nails fixed at a different salon. This is a financial loss. We were supposed to be happy and excited, but unfortunately we both are very sad and disappointed. read more

My friend and I both made an appointment and came in on time and was rudely welcomed. I asked if they had this specific color and they said no. I said that's okay, I'll just take my previous nails off here and go somewhere else while my friend finishes her nails. I guess the man didn't like that and was rude to me the rest of the time saying things like, "are you scamming me?" or "I'm the professional" when my friend was asking for my opinion on her length size. We both felt extremely uncomfortable. Another nail tech came and grabbed me to do my nails and I asked them if they had the specific color I want and he said he can do it for me. So I agreed, trying to give the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, my nails turned out to be not what I wanted and looked pink more than white with indents in them. I will say, the second nail tech was much more kinder but paying for something that I didn't receive is frustrating. And then to top it off, when I left my friend with the original nail tech he told her, "I have a surprise for you but don't tell her" and proceeds to give her GLOW AND THE DARK nail polish and telling her AFTER her nails were done. She did not ask for that and I guess he was trying to put me down by surprising her with an extra service? Normally, we don't write reviews but we had such a poor experience that we had to share. I've been going to this salon for the past 10 months but their work has disappointed lately. I had a picture I showed and they said they could do it, but the design alone was going to be $30. I agreed thinking it would've been worth it however as you can see in the pictures it's very sloppy. The pinky nail shape alone is enough to grab the attention. Overall it's embarrassing. Went to have a fill done and the young man doing my nails was extremely unprofessional. He kept telling me that I needed a new set. I explained I had just had a new set put on within a month. He then started saying I don't need to listen to him and that he is sick of always having to spend time fixing the mistakes of others. I checked in to get my nails done at 7:00 pm for an acrylic fill with gel. I have been going to Diva Nails and Spa for years. My tech completely sped the process, skipped half of the steps, and was finished by 7:25 pm to do a friends nails. Normally, it takes a full hour for the entire process. This was my favorite place to go over that past 2 years. My last 2 visits have been horrible. My tech was rough with my feet and my hands. I use gel polish cuz the other stuff just doesn't stay on my nails. Told her my water was cold and that I like hot water. She kept trying to adjust it but it never got warm much less hot. I walked in at 4pm and was directed straight to my tech without waiting. It's now 7pm and she just finished my manicure and pedicure. And then tried charging me 120 and I had a $12 off coupon. Got the same thing on my last visit and paid $75 plus tip. And I took my own gel polish in with me as well. Had to ask her to do a second coat as well. Don't think I will be back. I've been here twice now on a Sunday, because my favorite nail spa is closed on Sundays. Jerks. First time was just okay. Second time, definitely not returning. I ordered the Diva Special pedicure and it seemed like a good higher end pedicure. I ended up sitting for over 30 minutes with my toes in the water. I hate that, then you just get pruny. Then when you take your feet out and then they think you're getting annoyed (which you are) but really who wants pruny toes? So, after about a 30 minute foot soak, a man who I believe was the owner proceeded to give me a pedicure. He was rough. Really rough, and gave me a pedicure higher than what I had asked for. It was a organic coffee pedicure? I'm not complaining about the higher level pedicure, he was just really rough. He took the bristle brush and scrubbed the tops of my toes. OW! Now, I will say that he went to town on my heels and that's what you want. I had the softest heels for over 2 weeks. So I'll give him a star for that. At one point, I had my wallet and my phone with me. He had me move everything around and I thought he asked me to not use my phone during the pedicure, which I also found odd. Overall, the store is clean, service is just okay. Probably won't be back and just plan to go not on a Sunday to get my toes done. read more

I won't be back. I went for a basic mani pedi. The pedi was just okay until I was able to inspect them closer at home, weird cuts to my nails, polish so thick it is a gross mess, the mani was worse. Nails filed to a weird slant and same with polish, too thick . I asked for the nails to be filled straight and she looked at me like I was blind. Today was my third visit to Diva Nail salon. There are two men who work there--the owner and one other man. The latter worked on my mani/pedi. This is the first and last time I will use him -or- the salon. First, he did not greet me or tell me his name. The pedicure was not acceptable. He filed one of my toenails down so far that the nail began to break. When applying a regular polish, he did so much without any opportunity to dry in between applications. *NOTE* They "reuse" the nail files on different customers-- yuck!!! During my gel manicure, he cut the skin on my finger when trimming excess dry skin!! I pulled my hand away in pain, and he exclaimed "you moved!!" Seriously?!?!?! He was not paying attention, and I would expect an attentive pro to apologize for their error -- especially if they are looking for loyalty and repeat business. During the second color application, I asked if he could please get the polish on the end of the nails -- he scarcely grazed them. On one ring finger there was polish missing next to the side. Again, I asked if he could please add polish there. As he went to add the clear coat, I watched closely. He added it to the ends of my nails -- albeit scarcely -- on the right hand, however did NOT add it to the ends of the left nails at all. I asked if he could please add the clear to the ends? He exclaimed, "I did!!" I said, "No, you did not. I was watching you." He said, "I've been doing this 30 years. If I do that, then ... (unintelligible)." This guy is a complete fraud. if he truly believed in NOT adding it, he had already done so with the polish to the ends of my nails on the previous hand. Senseless!!!! He put what I believe to be alcohol on my nails, then told me to wash my hands. When I came back, my finger that he cut began to bleed!!! I paid, but did NOT tip. Then I went to the lady (of the husband/wife owner team) and asked for a band-aid. She did not have one. Fortunately, another gal did. This was NOT a relaxing experience. It was painful, hurtful, aggravating, and unhealthy experience that left me a dissatisfied customer. Nail shops are a dime a dozen. The owner was nice so bc I had never been here, I thought I would try it. He then pushed the gel manicure, then the menu of upgrades. This is not a spa. In fact, it was dirty and cluttered. My Mani station had nail debris that was from a prior customer that I asked to be cleaned. What prompted me to write this review was the constant up selling and insults. The insults started at "we can't help you without the spa soaking" then "your toe shape is small for me to paint" to asking me about my looks. My polish was not properly removed and my cuticles jagged. I asked and was told that I didn't upgrade to soak off the polish and that I needed more soaking and regular mani so my cuticles can grow "right" I wanted to walk out! read more
