After reviewing DT a year ago with glowing reviews, we ordered tonight 2 pad see ew tofu, one pad see ew with chicken & vegetables and a tofu pad Thai. All of the noodles tasted bland and the same. The chicken and vegetable pad see ew was supposed to be mildly spicy and it was not at all. My daughter who is 7 did not like the food at all and 'attempted' to eat the "spicy" noodles and also said that they were not spicy and not good. We all felt that the dinner was unfortunately underwhelming, bland and overpriced. I definitely will not be going back to DT and I really like supporting small businesses, but there's no way I will spend this much for basic noodles. read more

My boyfriend and I just moved in down the block and we wanted to take my parents out to eat nearby after the big move. We landed at Ditmars Thai and it was absolutely incredible! Delicious Thai food! I travel from the other end of Astoria just to get food from here to pick up as they do not deliver to my address. My favorite are the pad Thai with shrimp, you can really taste the unique tang from the tamarind, which is usually underwhelming in Thai dishes. I also love their tofu salad, spring rolls, and the Panang curry with chicken. The owner is super sweet and very accommodating, the food is always hot and fresh and service is fast. I would give this place 10 starts if I could, it's my go to Thai restaurant. I moved to Astoria last year and was super excited to see a new Thai place on Ditmars. We had never had panang before so we were all very curious to see what it tastes like and it was sooo good. We're deff going to go back for it. when I saw the good reviews I had to try this place.bit was the worst thai food I ever had. I had beef pad see we and it was bland and tasteless literally no sauce or seasoning but that wasnt the worst. the beef costs extra and literally couldnt be chewed. it was inedible.
