The host was very accommodating and made sure we were seated where we wanted. I ordered the Pitmaster with truffle fries, and both were easily a 10/10. The mac and cheese was a great side, and the fried pickles were the perfect addition to the meal. As someone who gets full pretty quickly, I ended up sharing my burger and fries, and there was still plenty to enjoy. It wasn't very busy when we first arrived, but the restaurant gradually filled up and became quite packed as the evening went on. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and a lively atmosphere!

The server was very helpful and offered wonderful recommendations, including the jalapeño bacon on the burger. But it may not be possible if they aren't serving additional risotto items. BRING BACK risotto with the short ribs! Overall good time.

Our double date crew has a tradition of meeting in Wheaton as the perfect geographic middle ground,…read moreand this time we wanted Greek. Molos did not just deliver, it set a new standard for our little group dinners. We started with the Pikilia tasting plate and built our own trio of spreads. The roasted red pepper hummus was the unanimous table favorite, bold and deeply flavorful. The melitzanosalata was earthy and subtly sweet, a quieter but beautiful complement. The tirokafteri was good on its own but genuinely shone when swirled together with the other two. And the pita. That pita. Pillowy and soft with just enough structure to carry a generous pile of spread without collapsing. Outstanding. The fried zucchini with skordalia was fresh and light tasting despite being fried, a real trick. The potatoes needed a touch more salt to fully wake up but were otherwise solid. The saganaki was a table highlight, lit tableside with a proper OPA moment, gooey and beautifully crisped on top. Think mozzarella stick that went to finishing school. Mains were all exceptional. The filet mignon was wonderfully cooked, the EVO lemon sauce bringing a bright refreshing contrast to the richness of the beef. The pork chops were well charred and seasoned with the same confidence. The chicken ala feta was bright, light, and satisfying all at once. Dessert was a sampler of everything on the menu, all some gorgeous variation of creamy whipped filling, phyllo dough, honey, and nuts. Every single one cohesive and complementary. We tried them all and had no notes. We sat outside on a lovely evening, left with leftovers for days, and paid a price that felt almost unreasonably fair for what we got. Excited to go back and try more of their menu!

The atmosphere is still delightful with little sparkle lights along the windows and plenty of outdoor seating. They've added an Instagram wall ("Ouzo made me do it"). They now have a proper roasted Greek potato on the menu, and a vegetarian moussaka which I'm very excited about. Vegetarian items still not labeled; GF are. For mains, and vegetarians can get the spanakopita; a buttered macaroni with cheese; or combine various tasty dips from the appetizer section. There's also salad which I ignore. The online menu has a few appetizers I didn't see (zucchini with skordalia! Oven-baked lima beans!). Warning, at least where I was sitting: the booths can move (not nailed down) - be careful when you get up. I got the chef's special spanakopita/tiropita and the roasted potato; be very specific when ordering as I was served the special "Molos Greek potato" with garlic yogurt and shredded cheese, which was fine but not what I wanted. The spanakopita and tiropita were tasty, with a good ratio between filo and filling, served on a folded cloth napkin (great idea, even perfect filo-wrapped items can be a bit greasy). Service started a little slow, as there was apparently a big party (they do that and they cater now). It was OK though I'm not sure English was my server's first language. I'll be back for the moussaka, which looks great (someone at the next table ordered it) and will be very precise when ordering my roasted Greek potato. Hopefully with a side of giant lima beans in tomato sauce.

The decor is contemporary but warmed by pictures of italy on the wall. Tables of 4 or 6 enjoying themselves in close proximity can be noisy, but the sounds of people joyfully sharing together both their meals and their lives added to the experience. The owner's father, Al, was "on duty" this night serving as "master of ceremonies," as he warmly greeted patrons, engaged in light banter and let you know that you will be having a great meal or he will take care of it. Our waiter, Oscar, was warm, attentive and eager to please. I inquired about mocktails, which they generally do not serve. Asking for something lemony, he whipped up a lemon-based drink with an "essence of flower." It was delicious. Our meals were as described above-superior. This is an upscale Italian restaurant with a menu that makes the diner feel as tho he/she is dining in a family restaurant in Italy. We enjoyed the Finocchio salad with shaved fennel, red and gold beets over arugula sprinkled generously with goat cheese and balsamic dressing. Great presentation. Husband had whitefish that was perfectly baked, with a side of deliciously-garlicky spinach (al dente) and roasted quarters of potatoes, also delicious lyseasoned. I thoroughly enjoyed, for the first time in my life outside my own kitchen, a delicious Linguine Con Vongole in white wine sauce. It arrived in a beautiful blue bowl, piping hot, with about a dozen littleneck clams encircling the spiral of linguine bathed in a delicious broth. This restaurant has set a new bar of excellence for all other Italian restaurants in the area for it's delicious and exquisitely-prepared dishes, for its level of sevice and for the warm welcome and ambience one feels upon arriving and dining.

Came here a few weeks ago. The food is delicious, and everyone is super friendly…read more I had the Waldorf Chicken Salad Melt. Their website is under construction so I called beforehand to ask what exactly comes in the chicken salad, and to make sure the mayo wasn't some weird tangy Miracle Whip type (it isn't). I based my decision on the photo I saw here on Yelp which showed it as a sandwich. Imagine my surprise when it came out served on an open-faced English muffin! That said, once I got over my shock I was really digging all the flavors of the creamy chicken salad, melted cheese, and muffin. I just hadn't anticipated needing a knife and fork to eat it! I used to get the Door County Melt from Egg Harbor all the time but I have to say, Egglectic Cafe's version is better. My husband got the Monte Cristo which he really liked. I took a bite and thought it was pretty good. They served it with a side of Dijon-mayonnaise and raspberry preserves, both of which were good. My only complaint is regarding the conflicting information I was given regarding the choice of sides, and not being told which included an upcharge. The gentleman on the phone listed more options than what our server did when I asked (because I couldn't remember them all from my call). When I picked the onion petals I wasn't aware of the upcharge and didn't find out until the bill came. They were quite delicious, so I would get them again anyway. Plus I assume the physical menus listed the upcharge, but since I already knew what I wanted, I hadn't looked. That being said, I wish servers would call attention to upcharges, particularly when someone asks for a list of side options, the assumption being they are completely unfamiliar with them and any extra charges. Just an idea if management happens to read this. They gave my husband a to-go cup of the iced tea he had ordered which I thought was a nice touch. I think Egg Harbor used to do something similar. I'm not sure if that's standard practice, or they wanted us to leave, because it was pretty empty inside and it was about 2:10 pm when we were finishing up (they close at 2:30). All that said, I'd absolutely come back for that chicken salad melt alone. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
