I had gift cards that THIS store said I could not use there "legally", because they're not allowed to input the gift card numbers by hand-they need the physical card. I explained to the cashier and then the manager Heather, that The Disney Store i. the Thousand Oaks Mall , had actually just done that a couple of hours ago . Heather told me that they shouldn't have. I told her that the cashier at The Oaks store told me that "we do this all the time" when I apologized for not having the card. So the bad review is for this store obviously not knowing what they can and cannot do, and HOW to do it, they just said "we can't do that". When another Disney Store 20 miles away just easily and quickly did the thing this store said they "legally" couldn't do. I won't be coming back here. read more

So I don't always understand "outlets stores" because they are supposed to be cheaper but 98% of the time, they are the same price as the regular stores so I don't fall for that "Were an outlet store" bullshit. So my wife and I were driving on the freeway headed to Hollywood and past this outlet mall. We have been here several times before and of course....found nothing reasonably priced. So we decided to stop at this Disney Outlet for the heck of it. We've been to this outlet store before and they had a couple decent deals but nothing GREAT so we tried them again. Upon walking in we saw a lot of sweet deals. They had these huge ass dolls for like $10, and they had a clearance section of clothes for dirt cheap. We saw a butt-load of Mickey and Disneyland shirts for like $3 bucks. I couldn't believe it. We got my son like 3 shirts and they were all $3-$5. But the piece da resistance was I found a bitchin' Pirates of The Carribean Hoodie that was marked $60 for $15, I couldn't believe it, and to make the deal sweeter, it was an XXL hoodie. I like my jackets and hoodies a little baggy and I couldn't believe they had a XXL hoodie to begin with, let alone marked from $60 to $15. So this store has changed my views on outlet stores a little bit....not a lot. Next time I'm driving past this mall, I will by pass the other so called "outlet stores" and come straight to Disney Outlet. Oh yeah...the employees were pretty nice too. read more

When I go to the Camarillo Outlets, I always have to go inside the Disney outlet. Usually, I find something, whether it's a Christmas gift or a couple of cute shirts for me, but today I am sad to say I didn't. But since the people are very nice inside (and very in-character), and I know I'll find a lot of good deals in the future, this store is very fun to explore and I suggest you visit it. One thing though, if it isn't on the clearance racks in the back, it can be lots of $$. Just because it's an outlet, doesn't mean all the stuff is a bargain. read more

Love this outlet store and great prices too! It's huge inside, much bigger than the ones located at the malls. So much to see and well organized too. I love this place at Christmas time, can't beat the 2 for $25 deals- this comes in handy since I love to spoil my little ones. No Disney Store at the Oaks Mall & this one is closest. I picked up Disney Beach towels for $8.99! I wish they would keep more of the popular stuff in stock, I seem to be picking up the last of the latest movie action figures that are out like "Brave." ;) Got the last doll and her horse package. I visit southern California a lot, but I don't make it to Disneyland as much as I'd like. For many out-of-staters, California=Disneyland. I usually try to stop by a Disney outlet if I'm in the area (Orange, Pomona, or Camarillo) so I have a chance to check the racks for cheap souvenirs. Of the three I've been to, the Camarillo Outlet usually has the best stuff. The selection is sometimes hit or miss, and a lot of the cheapest stuff is merchandise from the less popular Teen Disney shows. Want a Camp Rock shower curtain for $1.69? This place can hook you up. High School Musical keychains 4 for a dollar? Yep, those too. I bought a few licensed tees for $3-5 a piece (including a really cool Tron tee that had a regular pricetag of $39). I don't buy collectibles, nor do I wear cutesy character shirts, but I know it's a popular thing for a lot of Disneyphiles. And there are some pretty cutesy things there. I almost picked up a pair of classic Mickey pajama pants, but they were still $20 bucks with the discount, and my suitcase was already pretty full. The merch offerings change often, so I can't make promised of what you'll find....but you just might find a Disney treasure. read more

camarillo's outlets are always expanding! i had no idea there was an entire NEW section.. i was just aware of the original two? but im glad i ventured over here past the movie theatre cuz im such a kid at heart! i dont think i'll ever stop loving disney! this store was alllll the way on the other side of everything but they have a great selection of stuff! lots of clearance items and i went in with my goddaughter in mind.. and came out with more presents for everyone else.. including myself!!! they had a lot of summer stuff out too.. all ready for the sunny weather & it just put me in such a good mood!!! the staff was great.. super friendly and helpful.. will definitely be coming back! read more

The greeter at the door was friendly as she reminded us to keep our masks on when we enter the store. It was a good sized store and there was most T-shirts. I would like to see more variety but there was things that I was able to pick up. I don't really like small talk with staff members but they were there if anyone had any questions. Its a nice store well organized but its just not much to choose from. The staff are okay, I came here today with a friend of mine and her daughter to buy for her pre school backpack and lunch box bag. There was 2 people in the register one blonde woman and a man, the man was doing some kind of inventory while the woman takes her sweet time to deal with this slow moving picky, inconsiderate customers while waiting yo cash out for 15min. Then a woman came behind us and waited more 10min. Until the guy whose doing inventory is opening his register. While paying the blonde woman was still dealing with inconsiderate slow moving customers like she won't even bother to say anything or apologize for the wait. While I was done getting ringed at. Those inconsiderate customers and the blonde cashier was done. Seriously? Takes that looooong to ring peoples stuff? read more

Staff is always super friendly and very helpful when I visit here. I want to buy every single one of their coffee mugs too, they're so adorable. Sometimes they'll do the "buy one plush get another for $1" and it's so amazing. I've gotten all of my daughter Disney plush toys from this store and all of them have the Disney authentication mark just to show you it's a true Disney product. Depending on what you're looking for it is a bit pricey but I wouldn't expect nothing less from a Disney store honestly. They usually have deals though so hopefully you'll catch them on a good day. read more

As far as outlets go, this store has a pretty comprehensive selection that encompasses all age ranges and styles. I come here for gifts for my baby cousins all the time. Prices are reasonable / almost always discounted and the quality of products are good. I've gotten a Mickey Mouse bowling set, Cars rolling suitcase, Disney character utensils, clothing, stuffed animals...you name it! Overall the staff is very friendly and upbeat too. One of the worst disney stores i have ever been to. Customer service was horrible! Also if you are going to engore and demand people to wear masks atleast know the law that any child under 3 is not required to wear a mask, so making a parent try to put a mask on a 2 year old while he/she is crying is wrong. If your masks are protecting you than it should be that parents choise to cover their kid if theyre under 3. One of these days you guys are going to have a lawsuite in your hands for forcing a 2 year old to wear a mask! read more

Mind you not everyone, but the First Lady "Callie" was completely rude out front, yelling at people and barking orders; so much for the magical place of Disney. this store has the worst customer service. they make up their own rules on how to treat customers. their store managers do not work with customers or put them first. I just had the worst experience at this store ever. Mandy, Jennife, and Jessica treated me as if I was a thief either they were bothering me because I'm ethnic or because I'm a single mom pushing a baby cart. The three of them repeatedly came up to me asking if I needed help, they followed me around the store, and anytime I put an item in my basket they asked if there was something I needed help with. I repeatedly told them no and continued to shop. Before leaving i decided to go to the Christmas section one last time to see there was anything else I sho get when Jennifer and Jessica confronted me asking again if I needed help and then stating "Your basket looks really full we'll take that". Then they took my basket away from me and gave me an empty one. First of all all the times I have asked if the can hold something for me the say no, they say according to Disney store policy they cannot hold clearance items as they are fair game to all customers and they also refuse to hold my items if I pay. So why now that my basket is full of items did they confront me at the front of the store together and hold out their hands for my basket and say "this time we do" when I said " I thought your policy is not to hold clearance items for people". They didn't do this to any of the white customers in the store purchasing items only the person who looks Hispanic but is half black. And only to the mom with her autistic son. They embarrassed me and made me feel so in comfortable I left the store crying after my purchase. read more

C'mon... What do you expect? It's Disney!! Staff is very friendly and wonderfully cheery. The store is very bright and clean. It is amazing that they keep the merchandise organized well considering how abusive some of the customers are. I was watching this hog with her 10 children yank shirts off of the hangers. After she held the shirt up to one of her heathens and then determined that there was no way it would stretch to fit, she would throw it on top of the rack. I have to start off by saying how much I love Disney! Unfortunately, this store in particular change my opinion on Disney stores. First off I couldn't believe that they do not price match online prices! I have been to a regular Disney store and the employees was so helpful when I couldn't find a Snow White costume she went online to order it for me and gave me the online price. However, this store's customer service was nothing in comparison. I asked an employee about price matching and she seemed offended that I was even asking her this question. Then I asked another customer who the manager was and it was the employee that I had spoken to at first Amanda. Then I felt uncomfortable because they were talking about my question and why I wanted to speak to a manager. I have been to so many Disney Stores and their customer service is amazing. If I could give it a minus I would, they have items on display that don't currently have in stock, there was a last sweater in their manequin and I asked the manager on duty for it since it was the last and the size I needed when I aproached her and requested the last item she said no, compared to other disney stores i've been to that when the last item is out on the floor they do remove it for their customer this mgr said she was not allowed to dye to store policy, I don't think the policy is not to sell but anyways, first and last time I visit this specific location. read more

I love the Disney Store! This outlet one sells some older stuff but the good thing about it is it also has the current stuff as well. I am pretty sure it has the same sales as the regular Disney Store malls but they do have a section of older stuff from the Disney Parks (Disneyland, DisneyWorld). Some good deals but most of the stuff on sale are either too big or too small. But look anyway because you might get lucky if you find your size. They sell some older vinylmations the 9'' ones that are probably left over from the parks as well. But hey if your a collector (which we once were) it's a good buy. There is always a sale so just look out for it. The best sale I think is of course during black friday after Thanksgiving and after that. It's practically the same actually. Make sure you check online too, before you buy in store. Sometimes the deals are slightly different and online always has things that the store doesn't or are out of. read more

The one thing going for these outlets is they did not seem to be as packed as others I have visited during the week (i.e. Citadel - ugh!). However, the Disney Store outlet here has a small selection if you are looking for actual Disney Parks merchandise and I have found that the prices are higher than the deals online in most cases. If they do have a sale they are the same sales the regular Disney Stores are offering so not much of an "outlet" bonus. Also, super annoying - I called this morning specifically asking if the store currently carried Disney Parks merchandise and was told by the cast member on the phone without hesitation, "Yes we do have a large selection of Disney Parks items." Fast forward an hour later (after I have driven an hour from my home just to check out their store) and I see no Disney Parks items, just the regular Disney Store merchandise. I ask one of the workers -- turns out she is the same person I spoke to on the phone -- and she tells me, "No we don't currently have any Disney Parks items right now." Um...lady, you told me an HOUR ago that you did. Her reply? "Oh, well actually in the last hour we sold out of all our Disney Parks stuff." Yeah...this is an example of their fine customer service here plus none of the employees knew the prices of items off the top of their heads as they do at other stores. They needed to check. So my takeaway here is the employees are useless, the actual park inventory is lacking and the prices are better in the regular Disney Stores. Save yourself a trip and go elsewhere if you are looking for a real Disney Store outlet. I am not the biggest fan of Citadel Outlets but at least they consistently have a dedicated semi-decently sized selection of actual Parks merchandise in their Disney Store that has been slightly discounted as well as employees who know what they are talking about. As for this place, I will not be coming back. read more
