Dishdash to me is like I am home. We first went to them in 2002 or 2003 I can't remember but I know it was before I got pregnant with my younger one. For the past 21 years we have been going there nothing changed with the taste of the food and the service. It's absolutely amazing and top notch in every aspect. I love the food here! We tried 3 items, including maza platter for 2, sambusak dajaj, and fattoush salad with kufta. Everything was so delicious, and the appetizers came out very fast, about 5min after we ordered. The sambusak was really crispy and light on the outside and the dajaj filling was very flavorful. The maza platter includes 6 different dips and 2 falafel. The fresh warm pita bread was such a good company to those dips. The kufta fattoush salad was also so flavorful. Victoria is super friendly and took our order! The Maza Appetizer for 4 was great! It featured 6 dishes and was enough to appetize 8. My faves are the crispy felafels, smoky baba ganough, and fresh tabbouleh! Could eat that as the entrée! The combo kebabs were delish as expected. The lamb shank was succulent! This is the most amazing dish I have ever had. I had one bite of in back in May and have thought about it ever since. Tonight I finally got it again. It's delicious. The chicken is buttery soft. Potatoes melt in your mouth. Golden raisins provide the perfect burst of sweetness. The aged yogurt sauce is perfection. You will not regret getting this dish. Service is excellent. We always wanted to try DishDash but never encountered their open hours. Last Saturday we finally got the chance to check it out. Note: Dish'N'Dash and DishDash belong to the same restaurant group - the former offers simplified menu (also cheaper, my guess). From the menu it seemed like no dishes come with pita by default, so we were caught off guard by a whole bag of fresh pita. $1 for 4 full-size pitas is just too daydream a deal. I really enjoyed my Kalai dish. It was fresh, creamy, with lots of flavors, definitely on the heavier side though. $14 for this much chicken was for sure a good deal. My partner liked his vegetarian delight but not as much as I did. It was $17+ but not as much food. The baba ghanoush was not as good as expected either. Just WOW!!! I've been meaning to visit DishDash for the past few years and finally got around to it but I'm mad at myself for not coming sooner. This is honestly some of the best and most authentic Mediterranean food hands down!!! Ordered the shish taouk and maza sampler for 2, for takeout. Even though it was takeout the presentation was still really nice!!! Shish taouk: the chicken was sooo flavorful and juicy! The rice was also delicious and the veggies were seasoned well. The olive oil used was really high quality and the entire dish was incredible. It was a good ratio of chicken to rice to veggies as well! Maza sampler: I loved being able to taste a bunch of different side dishes! It was great as a appetizer and honestly could feed 3 people. My only complaint was that the pita was a little stale, but everything else was so good that it made up for the dry pita. They serve some free pitas with a dip as soon as they seat you, but don't eat too many of them since the entree portions are plenty and you definitely want to save space for it. However, since they provided some dips (the white one and the green one), I tried both of them with the meat, and they made it even more divine.
