    Halloumi Cheese Roll
    Melody T.

Wow the food is amazing!!! The portion size is so large too that I barely made a dent before taking the rest home. The halloumi cheese rolls.... Still thinking about them months later LOL It's pretty much self service in the way that after they seat you, you order yourself on your phone, get your own utensils, but they do check on people often! It was nice sitting outside until the rain got us BUT otherwise I think on a nice sunny day, it would be a nice chill place to eat :)

Giving this place 4/5 stars because it is definitely a bit overhyped imo haha. The food IS good, the restaurant is beautiful, and service was good. HOWEVER, I'm not sure the flavors were anything special. Yes, the food is so vibrant and the variety is awesome. But from all the dishes we got, nothing stood out and made us yell "YUM". The portions are good for the price, but again.....it wasn't too worth it after tasting the food. None of it was bland, but none of it was as flavorful as we expected (from the colors, presentation, variety, etc.). My expectations were just very high coming in and I was a bit disappointed..... At the end of the day though, this is a solid Mediterranean restaurant. A great place to come with friends or family. A menu with lots of variety to please everyone!

Why 5 stars? Because I will be thinking about the Chicken Shawarma for a long time. --- --- --- As a conference I was attending nearby was soon to wrap up, I placed a pickup order from Mazra so I could scarf down lunch before meeting up with a friend. I was inside the building for approximately 6.2 seconds to grab my bag and then walked about a mile to my hotel where this was consumed. I share that detail with you to illustrate that it's not like I ate this the way god intended. And yet, upon the first bite hitting my lips, the delay in consumption proved to not matter. I really don't know how this managed to be so amazing. Was it the bread? Was it the chicken? Was it the fixins? All of the above? Either way, I loved every bite and the sauces that accompanied were great too. I think one was a little light garlic mix and the other was something with an orangeish hue. I enjoyed taking pretty much every other bite alternating sauces because they were very different but equally enjoyable. Mazra's excellent Yelp rating is very much earned and I am glad I got to experience it!

So delicious! The beef/lamb combo over rice is always good, and the roasted cauliflower appetizer is also such a treat! The sides of hummus and tzatziki are also really good.

I absolutely love Mazra! I have been several times to the RWC location and hope to go to their San Bruno location soon. Even though the cutlery, water, and complimentary tea are self serve and you order your food and drinks via a QR code, the hospitality of the staff is attentive and quick. Also the online menu has pictures for us visual eaters! It's located on pedestrian-friendly walkway with both outdoor and indoor seating but parking is a bit difficult during peak dinner time. I have tried the double kebab plate, the chicken shawarma plate, the roasted beet salad, the whole cauliflower, the grilled lamb chops, the garlic rotisserie chicken, the basmati rice, the French fries, garlic potatoes and nearly all the dips from the hummus to the tzatziki to the baba ganoush. Not a single entree, salad or side disappointed. Every single item I've tried here has been fantastic, perfect texture whether it's crispy or creamy, fresh, delicious and a generous serving size portion. The hype isn't just hype, it's the real deal authentic (and 100% Halal meat) dishes from the Levant and Mediterranean that are prepared over 100% mesquite wood that you can smell it in the air if you dine inside. There's a reason the lines are long here for dinner and especially for Eid. May this restaurant continue its success inshallah

Wow wow wow, Mazra deserves all the hype! We came for Easter dinner and were prepared to wait long, but they are super efficient and the food is excellent. We ordered the dip trio, whole cauliflower, and 2 kebab plates to share (which was plenty for 3 people). Everything was so good and very filling. Some highlights were the tzatziki, GARLIC POTATOES (trust), and the filet mignon cause it was very tender. They also have complimentary spiced tea which was the perfect end to my meal. Besides the food, the interior is beautiful and everyone is so attentive and fast. Seeing restaurants thrive in Redwood City makes me so happy and proud to be in the peninsula! Total: ~$80

Visited for a weekday dinner with my * Located on bustling & pedestrian-friendly Broadway, easy to find street or lot parking & within walking distance on Caltrain station * Restaurant has ample patio & indoor seating, indoor had great decorations that caught our eye in every direction * Ordering is super-easy & convenient via QR code pasted to each table * Online menu has photos, making it easy to understand what you're ordering * Self-service water & cutlery makes it easy to grab what you need Our food orders were served quickly & every dish was delicious. The Fatoush salad was tasty, & the fried halloumi with honey was amazing! Definitely recommend and can't wait to try more dishes!

The most delicious Greek food I ever had!! Quality was a 10/10 for freshness and felt so healthy. Love how I get to order my plate. And don't get me started on the sauces that are chefs kiss. Oh and the cauliflower! So good and roasted I even wanted to try and recreate it. The inside and ambiance was nice as well. Only thing I wished for was more roast veggies like the jalapeño and shallots.

Came here on a Friday night around 6:30 and the place was packed. The wait was around 30 minutes, which honestly felt shorter than expected given how busy it was. Water and tea are self serve and you order through a QR code. Service seemed really busy but they were still pleasant. The lamb chops were a standout -- super tender and flavorful. The chicken shawarma was also very tasty. We also ordered the set of dips -- I particularly enjoyed the beet dip, which I haven't tried at other Mediterranean restaurants. We also ordered the whole cauliflower as the pictures looked interesting -- it was very tasty but probably good for a one-time try. Overall amazing spot, just need to plan a bit around the time you arrive to avoid a long wait.

Great outdoor seating, restaurant smelled heavenly, food was amazing too. Only thing is u order off a QR code. I had a roasted garlic chicken but was so hungry I forgot the camera eats first. Oh well, enjoy my other pictures if u can find them!

I am Mazra's #1 fan! If you're a garlic lover like me, this place is essentially a pilgrimage you have to make. Pro-Tip on timing: To skip the massive lines, my boyfriend and I swear by hitting the lunch rush before noon or grabbing dinner right at 4:00 PM. If you show up after 5:00 PM, be prepared for a solid hour-long wait. The silver lining? Their hospitality is top-tier, they'll keep you hydrated with water and tea while you wait. The Vibe: The RWC spot is gorgeous with tons of natural light, and the patio is perfectly shaded (plus, they have heaters for those chilly winter nights). The Must-Haves: Double Kebab Plate: Trust me, pay the extra $2 for the filet mignon. It's worth every penny. The Sides: The falafels are life-changing, and the hummus and tzatziki are non-negotiable. The Drink: You need the Raspberry Mint Lemonade. I'm usually not a mint person, but now I can't imagine a meal here without it. Words really don't do the flavors justice, you just have to experience it for yourself!

You can hold your finger there and it will feel barely warm at all. The food is already cooked so it's not like it did anything other than to "warm." There were other tea light candles underneath and if the other ones lit up, it might've actually did something. If I could, I would've lit them all up since I prefer my food hot. For the skewers, everything was juicy and well-seasoned. The flavoring was great. My personal favorites were the beef and lamb sticks which were tender.
