Stay away, it is a scam! You do not get any better price on tires here. They will install any four tires that you wish (and that you pay full price for), and then they will sell you a tire protection plan. I have needed to use this protection plan before, and it always results in a new $40 charge for a new protection plan for the new tire (or $80 if they convince you to "replace two at a time", and therefore you need 2 new protection plans). Includes free tire rotations? I have yet to have a simple tire rotation from them. They always tell you they have to replace one or more tires. Cha-ching, another $40-80 out of your pocket. Never fails. Staff is nice, but the business model is a racket. read more

"You never rotated your tires" "no I did at least once" "i'm looking at your account you've never done it" news flash, I get them done at the dealership with all my other engine/oil/filter stuff, had you said that without the attitude and pretentious wording basically insinuating i'm a liar, maybe I would have let the next issue slide but after that this, the guys already on thin ice. This guy then moves on from talking down to me and then starts blowing my dad off. He asks him 10 times to touch the tire to show him the uneven tread and the guy never touches the tire just keeps repeating the same stuff he said inside. Why even walk out with us? Why say yes you'll come check the tire with him if you plan to just stare at him bending down touching the tire in the heat, save my elderly father all the time an effort and say youll only walk out there with us but your answer won't change and you won't touch the tire so it's no use. Zack at glenstone walked out and touched the tire without even being asked! Immediately explained the issue and what do you know, it's not the rotation after all. Maybe had the first guy just touched the tires like asked he woulda seen that. I just buy tires from discount tire for the free plugs, but after talking to me like that and treating my veteran father like that, AND the other store being so gosh darn amazing without even mentioning it, I got half the mind to come back down to this location and find the name of the guy and give his boss a piece of my mind. read more

Awesome tire store! Was pricing tires online. I was able to get them $100 cheaper PER TIRE than another place quoted me for the exact same tire. On top of that the site had right up front about their %10 percent military discount. Saving me even more money! I spoke to three different employees during my time there. All of them were extremely nice. They got me in 15 minutes before my appointment time. We are having a heatwave. Complete with a heat advisory. I think it was 97 out that day with high humidity. I was so happy with my tires and service there I ran across the street and bought them cold Gatorade once I had my truck back. The guy I handed them to was one that worked on my truck. Super nice guy. Thanked me several times. Great employees and prices. I'll definitely recommend them to friends and family. I'll be back myself once I need more! read more

They have come in very handy in all 3 states for me. Including today. I trust Discount Tire for a fair price and honest work. We arrived in Springfield on Wednesday night, drove around a bit on Thursday and on Friday morning my son noticed that my front passenger side tire had splits in it. I carefully drove to Discount Tire and they had me taken care of in less than one hour. Now I have all 4 tires covered under their warranty program and I drive with confidence. Mark and Andrew were extremely helpful when we traveled from Denver to Branson while on vacation. We had an extreme noise coming from our tires due to a cupping problem. They rotated the tires once as I requested front to back. The noise persisted but not as bad, so we came back a second time and Andrew (and his crew) cross rotated them this time which solved the problem. They even gave us a referral to Christian Brothers automotive for an alignment check. Being 800 miles from home and receiving this kind of service from location M003 (Sunshine street location) was extremely helpful. We wouldn't go anywhere else for tire service when near Springfield. I had the best experience here at the Glenstone location, and from what I gathered by the way they treat their customers this is throughout the company. I called 30 minutes to close to make an appointment because I had a bad wobble on my tire. He said come on in! Told me I didn't need to be on the road like that. I pulled up 5 minutes to close, and no one seemed upset about it even though I was the only customer there. I told them I needed the one tire changed, but was wanting 4 new tires. I figured one tire can be quick for these guys, but they wanted to do all four. It took them about an hour past close. Great service! I got a nail in my tire and didn't feel like driving 1000 miles towing a trailer on a patch so I ordered a new tire on discount tire website and scheduled an appointment. This was at 11 pm. The appointment was for 10:15 the next morning. I got there at 10, they checked me in and took care of everything, in and out in about 20 minutes. If that's not efficient I don't know what is. The guys that helped me were professional and courteous, coming from out of state it's so refreshing to see. Definitely recommend. read more
