I need to leave a review for this store because they were lifesavers. The winter of 2024 to 2025 wasn't what I'd call difficult. We got a little snow, but not much. In addition, I was working from home a lot. I had just purchased a 2021 Ford Explorer, which should handle some snow. The winter came and went without any difficulties. Fast forward to December 2025 and the situation changed dramatically. I was no longer working remotely as much, and so far it's been an old fashioned Minnesota winter, with all the cold and snow that comes with it. On 12/09/2025, we had a pretty decent winter storm roll on through and it was life altering in the sense I've never been afraid while behind the wheel of a car -- until now. I was barely able to stay on the road. The tires that were on the car were so bad I couldn't even make it up a 3 - 4% grade hill near my house. I needed tires badly. Discount Tire has been my go-to for tires for the past couple of decades. I made an appointment for 12/20 and ordered the tires I wanted. Mother Nature wanted to time t me though, and what was supposed to be just a "dusting of snow" on 12/18 turned into a winter weather advisory. It wasn't as bad as the week before, but it was bad enough that I didn't want to have to deal with it anymore, if I didn't have to. On Friday, December 19, I got off work early so I called Discount Tire and begged to get in to have them installed. The person I spoke with told me to bring it in and they would get everything installed that day. I cannot express my gratitude enough for them making the accommodation to get me in, even a day earlier. Now, I'll be able to navigate the remainder of winter without nearly the difficulty I once had. Thank you to those that stayed late to get my tires installed and get me back on the road! Such a great experience at this discount tire! I had a tire blow between Roger's and maple grove and after getting the spare put on I called Discount tire to see if they could get me in as we were headed out of town the next day (isnt that always the case?!). They said of course and I headed there straight away. Jose was extremely helpful in taking a look at my tires offering to see if they could repair and talking me through next steps. Unfortunately the tire was beyond repair due to a huge gash which meant a new set to avoid uneven wear given where my current tire tread depth. But, since my current tires were from discount, he worked his magic and got me what seemed like a great deal on a new set of 4 tires for my SUV. Well I've been coming here for about 15-20ish years went for new tires last week and they talked me into putting windshield wipers on it. The next day when it was raining, I went to go turn on my windshield wipers and they both fell off installed completely wrong. I went out there later that week and two guys were very nice and very eager to help me. They did offer a refund on them as well which I declined so they were gonna give me an upgrade on the windshield wipers. Which I guess the manager on duty Bryce told them no was kind of disappointed about that being as a huge inconvenience and I had to send my wife working an Uber because we couldn't drive our car cause there was no wipers on it. Fast-forward another week and a half I bought my wife some rims for her new car. They went to go install them. They installed them wrong ended up slashing one of the tires which they did replace because they had to but what bothers me about this one is the valve stem is too long instead of getting a replacement part Shorter valve stems. They told her that it was OK for her to just take her caps off and then they clear the caliper. They do not clear the caliper while driving and they continuously rub. Which we know is going to cause problems if we don't bring them somewhere to replace immediately. Just not the service that used to be there. I do wish I could remember the names of the two guys helping me do the windshield wipers because they were extremely professional, extremely courteous and willing to go that extra mile to correct the wrong but still overall service the last few times I've been in there is just a nightmare. I basically never leave reviews and I most definitely never complain, but I feel like other people should know what they might be getting themselves into. We depend on our vehicles every single day and should be treated 100% and making sure everything is exactly where it needs to be so you can travel safe safely. Hopefully the good crew is working when you need service I don't like to gamble with the safety of my vehicles with my family inside. Said they would like to talk and make things right. Took a travel trailer there for April 7 two new tires. The staff were incredibly helpful and efficient! From the counter I was personally guided to a parking place, then a technician noticed me backing into it and came over to guide me. The tech and his partner (I think his name tag said 'Gap' or something like that) was very careful to locate the jacking points on the trailer, and his partner came with a second jack to raise the other side. They observed the correct PSI for the tires and used a proper torque wrench. I'm 82 years old and this visit to such a professional workplace and pleasant staff is one of the best I've seen. I'm very impressed with Discount Tire. I travel a lot and have been to 3 different stores in the last 6 months. Each time I have been treated with the utmost courtesy, timeliness and professionalism. When I had an issue in Chapel Hill I went to 5 different tire places and was turned away at all of them, too busy, no appointment, etc. But Discount Tire got me in and taken care of. In my home town of Las Cruces they spent over a half an hour in the air check lane to get my TPM sensor to finally turn off. This Discount Tire literally saved our lives. We drove nearly 2000 miles only to have a tire nearly come off when 4 insufficiently tightened lug nuts fell off, leaving 1 lug nut remaining to keep our front passenger tire on. We limped into the closest Discount Tire - not knowing what was wrong since we'd been on the highway - and found a staff that saw the problem and fixed it, even though the mistake was caused by another mechanic. They gave us clear instructions on what to do next to be safe for the rest of our epic central U.S. driving trip. I can't say enough good things about this specific location (Rogers, Mn). Most recently they squeezed in a snowblower tire repair (Put a tube in the tire) in between appointments on a very snowy day. Great service in the past but when I went to get new tires on they also put new wipers on without asking me even though I had just put new ones on. They didn't end up charging me since I wasn't informed which was nice but they only lasted a couple weeks before I had to replace them. When I went to replace them they had taken off my clip that comes standard on the Camry models and should have stayed on there. throughly annoyed and will not go back. read more

This is the only place I will get my tires from. They match any prices and can get pretty much anything you need. Car, truck, trailer..etc. Wait time for a set of tires installed is about 45mins-1hr. Which is awesome for just walking in. They also take appointment too, which can shave some time standing in line if you already know what you need. I made the mistake of buying a set of tires from Discount Tire in Rogers, Minnesota because at the time they were the only dealer within a reasonable driving distance with the tires I wanted. There were a few times when I would set up an appointment for a routine rotation and wait rather long periods of time because of walk-ins. Appointments there are basically useless. When the tires were roughly 1/2 worn out, I started getting unwarranted sales pitches that I should buy another new set of tires because it wasn't safe to use the ones I had because of the winters. Granted we can get some pretty nasty winter storms here in Minnesota, but to only use a tire for 1/2 of its' life just doesn't make good economic sense. The sales pitches got more intense as time went on. Now, this week, they flat out refused to rotate my tires claiming that the front ones had more tread than the back ones. Not only is that not true, I'm sure the real reason is because I wouldn't buy a new set from them, even though they have plenty of tread above the minimum. I'm glad to be done with Discount Tire. For the most part appointments are useless, they don't honor their promises if they feel it's not financially beneficial to them, and you'll get pressured to buy new tires even when there's nothing wrong with your old ones. An unfortunate lesson learned. I'll gladly pay a little more somewhere else. read more

I have purchased my last 4-5 sets of tires from these guys and am more impressed with their level of service every time. They truly go above and beyond for their customers and obviously make an effort to be better than the competition. On my most recent purchase I couldn't stand the way my new tires felt after a couple days - I called the manager, Dave, and he said "we can't have you driving on tires you don't love, come on in anytime and we'll put some different ones on for you." I went to Discount Tires after another tire place told me that I should get 2 new tires. I then went to Discount Tires in Rogers and dealt with AJ. He looked at my tires and told me that I do not need new tires as of now. How honest was that??! I easily would have dished out a couple hundred but AJ was honest enough to tell me I have at least 10-15 thousand miles to go in these. They even rotated my tires at NO charge. My daughter brought her car to the Roger's store at 10:30 last Saturday. She was told someone would call when it was ready & that the store closed at 5:00pm or until all cars were complete. She told the Sales Person that she only had a ride to come pick her car up until 3:00pm. That wasn't going to be a problem, she was told. She tried calling the store a couple of different times before 3:00pm but no one ever answered. She stopped at the store around 4:00pm (after finding a new ride) and her car hadn't been touched. At 10 minutes to 5:00pm, they called to say her car was ready. Apparently, it's first car in, last car out. Although she is very pleased with the tires, the service was less than what she'd experienced in the past. It shouldn't have taken 6 1/2 hours to have tires installed. I'm not sure if her order was lost and when she finally stopped up at 4:00pm, they figured it out but no apology was ever given for the long wait and the inconvenience she went through trying to find a new ride. I had my tires replaced on November 20, 2017 at Discount Tire in Rogers, MN. The guy that changed out the tires cross threaded one of the lugs and broke off the wheel stud. The tire guy said someone cross threaded the sh*t out of the wheels (I know it was him as I never had any issues with the lugs before 11-20-17; this idiot should be fired). It sounds like this is a common occurrence at this location, as two other people I know had similar experiences and ended up with damaged lugs. They did not offer to fix their mistake for free, and they said they work with a shop that replaces wheel studs for around $60 to $100. I sure as hell was not going to go to a place they recommended, so I spent around one and a half hours fixing it myself. Last night I was rotating my tires and I found another damaged wheel stud, so I had to replace this one as well; this wasted more of my time and money. Go here only if you want sloppy and careless work. I wish I could give this place negative stars. If you spend a dime here, you have spent too much. read more
