I was headed up north for a funeral and had a blowout. After waiting 2 hours for roadside assistance (due to my lug wrench breaking) I needed to get a tire before driving a further 2 hours. After driving around for 2 more hours I ended up at Tires For Less. The only thing I regret is not going there first! There were 6 cars ahead of us but Mo (see pic) pulled the car up outside a bay, took the rim, mounted the new tire and used a floor jack to remove the spare and put the new tire on. Customer service is rare nowadays, but that level of exceptional service is almost unheard of! Mo had us in and out the door in under 15 minutes. I got my spark plugs serviced here and they put them on so tight that my car started to have misfires, and there were random misfires it was so bad my car couldn't prop the code as to what was going on. It got so bad that I had to take off the manifold to get to all three other spark plugs on the other side in which I found that they were extremely tight. I definitely think about taking your car before you come here and one of their workers also played music on my stereo as he was pulling the vehicle out of the garage .. just definitely think your decisions before coming here. They started offering Auto Services so after not being able to replace my lower control arm I came here, Byron kept me updated, quoted me a reasonable price, better than other shops, even used my own part I had already bought. I bought the lower control arm for the wrong side so Byron got it taken care of and swapped it out for me! I've had my tires rotated 4 times or so now and it's always been same day which is great! Haythen, (owner- with hands-on approach), is the kind of business man, I trust and respect!! He has, (reluctantly at first,) taken over the business following his Dad's (founder of the biz) sudden death a year or so ago. I hadn't been to Tire for Less, for a couple years. I had a minor accident that left my car still drivable but causing excessive and uneven tire wear. My insurance provider, said that because of the work force issues, Their approved shop couldn't even get me in for an estimate for at least 10 weeks. Worse yet, to be rewarded with guaranteed lifetime coverage of the repairs, I would need to use their shop, and wait (because of post-COVID-19 and the supply chain issues), the repairs could not be done for 4 months and only if the parts might arrive by then. I decided to try Tire For Less, to see if by chance they could make my car safer. They took my car in immediately to first to replace the front tires. Then the next day, they did the alignment and an oil and filter change. In a matter of less than 24 hours, my car is 98% fixed, now has no safety issues and drives like a dream. Only remaining issues are that the front struts that were slightly bent and should soon be replaced. I was amazed at how inexpensively this was all done. Yes, it required two trips to the shop, but that actually worked for my good as I have one vehicle. Again, in less than 24 hours, Haythen and crew had me all done, from initial consultation to completed, said repairs. He, (Haythen) is very talented with people and he cares about getting it all done right, all with very thin profit margins!! This to offer savings to folks like me, who can't afford to be taken advantage of at nearly anywhere else you may go for service. You've all seen and perhaps been tempted to check out these high dollar slick store facades. Those businesses IMHO, can't wait to gouge you with their greedy not greasy fingers! Not so here! Tire For Less, is led by Haythen, who is excellent with customers and his customer first attitude accompanied with a no hype sales pressure. Just a well thought-out plan (from his deep & vast roots) along with his highly experienced certified mechanics. If you read other reviews here on yelp and other platforms, they are either 4-5 stars & yes the rest are not so good. It's not possible for any shop or any business to satisfy every single disgruntled customer! I believe this shop is doing, Golden Rule work, with true compassion and empathy, giving great advice (serving the poor and less fortunate)!! I've been a customer here enough times to see for myself, that if "you players"come in with a bad attitude, you probably will never be satisfied here nor anywhere else!! Read between the lines in those reviews. But, if you give these guys a chance to earn your future business and listen carefully, I think you will be better served! I think this place deserves a community service award for trying to keep it real! Grace begets Grace! Yeah! Tires are cheap here. But if you have problems like I did 4 different times with the same tire, they won't stand behind their products. Customer service is horrible too. You are better off going to tires plus or something. You will pay more but at least they will stand by their service and products. read more

I have been a customer here several times in the past and have always had a good experience but haven't been to visit in over a year due to moving out of the metro but returned even with the long drive because they are a great bargain. But.....recently (actually today) have had my first not so good experience here but still feel the need to give 4 stars due to past experience and managements attempt to rectify this very unsatisfied customer. My husband brought one of my rims in to have a used tire put on which he bought at a great deal ($45). He came home and put it on my car and we head out to dinner jumping on the freeway where I live which has a minimum speed of 40 miles per hour and suddenly my back tire ( which was the tire he just bought) starts to shake or wobble horribly. My husband works all day long till dark most days so I was the one who had the privilege of going back to this place and request someone to look at it. I get there and talk about my driving experience with this new tire and explain that I just had a spare tire on it and there was no issue. They proceed to tell me it sounds like there is a balance problem. Finally after getting them to look at it they come and tell me it's because I need another new tire on the opposite side. I AGAIN explain that I just had a spare on everything was fine and what their saying doesn't make any sense so I refuse to buy a 2nd tire and I was rudely ignored and talked over by them who completely started a new conversation. They then proceeded to tell me maybe my rim is bent. Why would they put a tire on a bent rim? And why can't they check to see if my rim is bent now??? I demanded that they can forget my future business and I want to leave and needed my vehicle. I also informed them that I am a truely unhappy customer and came in looking for help and was not given any help but a run around. I just wanted to know why. That's it! Finally, who I believe is management, agreed with my request to have my vehicle driven by someone so they could thoroughly understand my dilemma. He drove it and came back and said my wheel bearings were bad. He also noticed a nail in the tire I just bought and replaced it with another used one. Because he finally gave me answers and noticed a nail and replaced the tire I agreed to buy another used tire for the otherside. I only do business with companies who care about customer satisfaction no matter the price. I drove home. My cars back tire does not shake like it's going to fall off anymore and because of their guidance I have 2 newer back tires and yes I do feel the back end fishtail as I drive and will be in shortly to have my wheel bearings replaced. For all I know my husband didn't have the lug nuts on tightly. .......I just needed help with my question wondering "Why?" read more

4 used Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos in a very common size in-stock, mounted, balanced, my old rubber disposed of, tax included = $240 flat. Out the door same day in 1 hour with no appointment. Hopefully this talks the talk about their walk. If you need tires (new or used) this place will sort you out one way or another at a very, very competitive price. They also seem to take care of quite a few other services with regards to suspension, car audio, wheels, etc if that's important to you. Please bear in mind that you may not feel comfortable here if you rate an overall auto shop experience on criterion like clean bathrooms, coffee, and proximity to your house or work. No disproportionate witticism or flare here. So my experience here in the past has been great considering it's been going on 5 years now that I've been having my vehicles serviced and repaired - but my last 2 visits here I was not able to get a simple oil change done on my vehicle because of the clerks inability to schedule or let alone be aware of the staff whereabouts and what was occurring at the shop. 9am appt turns into " I'm not really sure when we can get it done " i then schedule for 2pm the same day and am told to " call back to see if that time is still accurate " , in which I did only to find out I could not have my car serviced . This place is all about money, with no regard to customer service. The other day I went to have a slow leak fixed, the guy was done in less than two minutes. At first I thought these guys were that good, but the very next day I STILL had the same leak. I went back to complain, and the big guy tried to convince me I had a bad tire and wanted me to purchase a used one. I asked what service did I pay for the first time and if that was the case, why wasn't the problem explained to me the then. His response was he had a new guy that didn't tell him with the problem was. So I asked, "What service did I pay for then?" He said he didn't know. Before deciding on buying a used tire, I asked the mechanic to show me the leak in my tire. In about 30sec the tire was plugged and I was on my way. Great experience using Tires for Less! Patrick was a delight to work with. I was able to get in and out in about an hour as a walk-in and I needed to have two tire valves replaced and a new battery installed. Prices were very reasonable and the staff was friendly. I tried calling the morning I needed service, but no one answered the phone for about a half hour, which was pretty frustrating and is the reason I gave 4 stars vs. 5 stars. read more

My first impression of the shop (from a woman's point of view) was that is wasn't as clean as I'd like it to be, but then I realized that it's a true repair shop and not a fancy shmancy place like what is offered at a dealership. My daughter has an older 1994 Ford Explorer, and the tires were shot. In my search to find tires, three different friends recommended Tires For Less, especially for used tires. I went in last week and discussed purchasing 4 used tires. The used tires were in fairly good shape, and the "out the door" cost would have only been $188.00 installed. However, given that my daughter is a new driver, I steered toward brand new tires, bracing myself for a sticker shock. I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to buy 4 brand new Goodyear Wrangler Radials for her SUV for an "out the door" cost of $450.00. This price included the tires, valve stems, balancing, disposal fees, tax, etc. In addition to all of that, when 4 new tires are purchased, Tires For Less gives you free tire balancing and rotation AND free road hazard repair for the life of the tires. These new tires would have cost me around $612.00 for all of that, and I was able to get them for $450.00 TOTAL! I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone--for new or used tires. My 2003 Ford Explorer will need 4 new tires by this summer, and I will definitely be back. read more

First I want to say that not turning around and leaving after the guy behind the counter lied about how a tire balancing machine works is my fault. This was a huge mistake. Half a decade ago, under different management, this was a go-to place for used tires. On this occasion, I went to get 2 tires balanced. In short: the snap rings that hold my center caps on were removed when they didn't need to be & they were not reinstalled (lost, never found); the lug nuts on my aluminum rims were reinstalled with an impact, which I observed & figured must be adjustable to a specified torque setting because not even steel rims should be installed with an impact; but nope, they were dangerously over-tightened. The head of the keyed lugnut shattered when attempting to loosen it before re-torquing to spec; the carpet in my car was smeared with an obscene amount of grease. I waited for the man behind the counter to finish his heated foreign-language conversation (with whom I believe was an associate of some sort) to ask for my receipt. After several minutes of waiting in front of him, I headed out the door. I would not ever go here again for any reason. read more
