WARNING! DO NOT GO…read moreHERE! My truck sat for 6 days and a chipmunk chewed some wiring in my truck. I had no choice but to get towed a mile to this place. They told me that it was my wiring harness. For that, 4 new tires, 4 new tire sensors, and labor, was just over $2k. Not a bad price. HOWEVER, When I got my vehicle back, left front blinker out, left 4-way flasher out, rear left license plate light out, washer fluid pump doesn't work, and left fog light out. So I took it back the next day. I waited until mid afternoon to call for an update. They said "Well this was more of a problem than we thought. It's probably just the bulbs, the washer pump isn't part of the engine harness. We'll take a look at that." The way they were talking made it seem like I was going to have to pay for it. So of course I got defensive I won't lie. But then I asked if they would fix it. Their response "Well of course we'll make sure the lights will work before we get it back to ya." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? You didn't think it was a good idea to check to ensure the vehicle was in working condition before you have it back to me in the first place!? When I said this to them their response was "The truck wasn't running and we got the truck running." Just wow. How about you admit your garage did a poor job and did the absolute bear minimum. I specifically asked when I dropped it off if this was something they could fix. They assured me "Yes." Clearly this was above your scope of practice. So they call me back later in the day and say "Ok so we have no idea why the washer pump doesn't work but we can continue to look into it. The fog light and license plate light we changed the bulbs and they work. We fixed the blinker problem but now it blinks really fast and we really don't know why. Here's the deal, we can keep digging and fix this, or we can put it back together for you since you missed work and you can have your truck back." Due to the absolutely poor service, missing two days of work, all for there to be more problems with the truck (meaning you said it was fixed and all you did was get it running), I opted to go somewhere else. When I got home I popped the hood and when they said they would "put the truck back together" again, poor service. The wires in the engine harness are just laying there instead of in their protective plastic sleeve, the problems they stated are still there, AND there is no warning light on the dash to let me know if I leave my lights on. I see that the owners respond to bad reviews so I fully expect them to try to refute what I say. They'll probably say "Well we told you we would make this right but you chose to take your vehicle. We left the wires out because we thought you would bring the truck back to resume fixing it, etc etc." After this entire ordeal, you think I'm going to head back!? Avoid this place at all costs because you'll be out your money with more of a headache. HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT GOING HERE EVER! RESPONSE to owner's comment: I even said it was a good deal. That was not the problem. The problem is POOR SERVICE plain & simple. The fact is, when someone takes their vehicle to you, a supposed reputable auto repair shop, customers expect their vehicle to work/fully function. As a business owner, as an employee working at the repair shop, one would like to think when you return a product back to the customer, you would do a thorough job, to ensure everything is in working function. The fact is, you should have never even called me in the first place to tell me my truck was done had you actually done a simple functions check. It's wiring. It's electricity. Do your due diligence and check to make sure things are working. But your response says it all. You simply don't care enough about the customer. I don't care how long it took you to tear apart my vehicle. That's your job. Had you done it correctly in the first place, checked everything, you would have realized the extent of the damage ORIGINALLY, & charged me for more labor hours which I would've happily paid for, bc you corrected everything.

I needed a rear differential for my V8 van. Previously I had been getting an unbelievable 18-22 mpg. Not knowing exactly what to look for, I asked several times if the part they had would give me the same mileage. I was told that the gear ratio was the same and I'd get the same mileage. After I bought it on good faith my mechanic told me it was a different ratio, but I had already bought this one and sold my core. I had to move forward. Right away it went down to 11 mpg. So I have been afraid to drive it with gas fluctuating between 2-something and $4. Their carelessness halved my mileage, and made it so I don't even want to drive the vehicle any more. I am reluctant to sell it because any buyer will be expecting 18 miles per gallon. Who is going to buy it when I tell them it gets 11 mpg now?

He tried to sell me Transmission service, Rear differential service, Fuel system service and Radiator service. He told me that the LH rear cv axel seal was leaking and it should be repaired. When i got off the phone I realized not only did I not get my wheel lock key back, but they never rotatied my tires. I called Valvoline the next morning on July 8th, 2026 and explained to the guy that I needed him to check if he could find my wheel key? He replied (if they didn't give it back to you it's here so come and get it.) After work that day I stopped by to pick it up. I was there for 45 minutes and they couldn't find my wheel key, Tyler said to me (not that I don't trust you, but I need to see in you glove box and in your trunk. Tyler tried to call his manager Dylan for 10-15 minutes but no answer, so I left. Tyler called me about 15 minutes later and said Dylan told him to refund me for the tire rotation and we could call it even, I replied you never rotated my tires, At that point Tyler said he would call me in the morning. The next monring I waited for his call, that never came, so I called him and he said we are really busy, can I call you in 10-20 minutes? I said yes! That was 17 days ago, so I'm thinking they have no intension on replacing my wheel lock key. I will be telling everyone I know about my visit to Valvoline in Elk River. I work in the automotive business not far from Elk River and i will bring it up to anyone who lives in the Elk River area and tell them to tell all their friends and neighbors. Greg

I dropped off my 2006 Tundra on Thursday morning for standard timing belt, water pump, transmission fluid, brakes, and exhaust work. A 1.5-day job turned into a nightmare. The store manager, Lee, admitted to me that they accepted my vehicle job knowing their Master Technician was actively on vacation. Because of this gross staffing issue, someone unfamiliar with the engine timing alignment botched it and had to tear the front of my engine down THREE times. They had my vehicle for 5 full work days. They lied to me about the daily status, causing me to miss a time-sensitive personal business transaction. To make matters worse, they attempted to double-charge me for duplicate cooling system flushes, which they removed after I questioned them. Worse of all, when I finally picked up my truck and drove it home. I found it fresh with fresh damage. The technicians spent so much time leaning on the front of my hood that it is now covered in deep micro-scratches. My rear quarter panel also has fresh dents and scratches from the tools or parts being around the bay. The cut is a small discount at the counter to avoid an immediate corporate standoff, but returning a customer's truck with body damage after 5 full work days of incompetence is completely unacceptable. Avoid this location at all costs.

He said since I have a problem with it, I can "KISS HIS ASS" and then told me he would never do the refund and hung up. I called back and talked to someone else and they said that is how Mark is. This is how Mark treats ladies. Mark doesn't deserve your business. Find somewhere else to go. If you run into any issues, this guy will be rude and tell you to pound sand.

Yesterday I had an appointment that I made the day before. I got a call the day of saying that they had to reschedule because they were low on staff. I needed a wheel alignment, which they only use 1 staff for anyway. Today I walked in for my appointment that was rescheduled from yesterday. I was told I wasn't on the schedule and couldn't be seen and that my new appt was on Friday. This is the 3rd time it's happened. I'm tired of it. I've never had these issues in Otsego. My alignment is horrible and I have to drive long distances to work, it's wondering and steering stiff. I was really relying on them this week. Now I have to come in tomorrow on my gym day after work. I can look forward to not seeing my family tomorrow.

After the…read moreother place gave me an estimate for over $1300, I checked with Tires Plus and they quoted the same work for about $550. They did a full diagnostic and let me know what all needed attention but stayed focused on my immediate needs and got my vehicle back on the road. Glad I called them before having the other place over charge me and/or just letting the vehicle go since it's a bit older and maybe not worth $1300 in repairs right now.

I recently kept having a tire issue on my Seltos where over a month it kept getting lower tire…read morepressure. I was heading out of state and just stopped to see if they could somehow fit me in even though I didn't have an appointment. I was worried about being safe on this out of state trip. Not only did the service department fit me in within minutes, they said they would not let me leave town without making sure my Kia was safe to drive. AWESOME!!! They did find a nail in the tire and were able to fix it right away. My Seltos is still under warranty so they did it all for free. From the minute I walked in. The Service Cashier, The Service Mechanic and the Service Manager were all super friendly, professional and eager to help me with my issue. In no time at all I was on my way and feeling safe about heading out of town. This really doesn't surprise me much as I have always got great service there over and over and over. I've brought my vehicles there for over 10 years now. The Service Manager Melina is simply the BEST!!! She has helped me and been so friendly and professional all these years. Even before she became the Manager. I honestly leased my current car there simply because of Melina and knowing that if I have any issue with kia at any level, she will or would try to help resolve it, and help me in any way she can. Cornerstone Kia is very lucky to have such a great person like Melina working for them and their customers. So here is a big thank you to the entire Service Department for once again helping me and going above and beyond that day when I didn't even have an appointment scheduled. I appreciate all of you!!!
