I went on a Friday around lunch time, and while the employees were friendly and thorough, they seemed understaffed. They were servicing one car at a time, meaning I had to wait for two others to finish before mine even started. I will say they greeted me right away, and offered a water, which was a super nice touch. A few other notes: they were a bit pushy on the upsells, which isn't really my style. Overall, the experience felt very similar to Valvoline. If I were in the area, I'd stop in again, but wouldn't go out of my way.

These guys have told me "nah, you don't need that" on more than one occasion. And when I DO need that, they've always found a reasonably cheap way to do it. Case in point: when my muffler started falling off, I thought for sure I'd need a new one. They were all like "nah bro" and just soldered some shit together. Absolute worst experience with a repair shop. They lie,…read morethey overcharge, they fix the same issue multiple times, they cheat and steal. They replaced a battery that was 5days old and hadn't been driven more than 10 miles. Falsifying the battery reading. They replaced the front arm control twice in the same car less than a year apart- why you ask? Because they rip little old ladies off. That adventure was upwards of $5k. Had a check engine light go on and Norms couldn't figure it out- "some electrical code" they said and "we don't really do electrical stuff" so they cleared the code, charged $120 and sent me on my way. You'll be shocked to hear, the check engine light returned. Took it to the dealer, they figured it out of course. Any shop that says they don't do electrical stuff in this day and age is a red flag- most cars are essentially computers now. Save yourself the money and headache of getting absolutely ripped off by the criminals of Norms. Never again! ZERO STARS

I was charged roughly 6 dollars to refill the fluids in my car (washer fluid mostly). They asked "would you like the fluids filled"... which sounded pleasant, and I had never before and never since found a place that charged for washer fluid. I didn't think to ask about charges or I would have declined. My hood latch on my older car stopped latching just after (I'm guessing it did it in the shop, but I'm not entirely sure). I brought it back, they oiled it up free of charge. Maybe I'm spoiled by all the other awesome mechanics I've had... but this is something they should have done without me bringing it back. It took 2 minutes. My oil was sparkly and my engine was happy, but I didn't get any sort of "thanks for your money, please join us again, we have your car's back" feeling.
