They are local people and have been around for a very long time. They care about the community. I love going somewhere where they will tell you what is wrong and what is coming up in the future. "This is what you need now and this is what you need later, which we could do now if you want, but you don't need to." You will not hear that from a national brand. I love Hawkins and have been going there since I have had a car. Before that I went there when my dad brought his cars there.

I appreciate their recommendations like "If you're just driving around town, this will be fine, but if you're traveling out of state, you need this fixed," and "We could fix this now but it won't negatively affect your brakes and it would cost you a lot of money. Otherwise, we could fix it when you get your brakes replaced and you'll save on labor." (Paraphrased, but these are real things they've said that have been helpful.)
