After calling several places, Nordgren impressed me with their clear upfront explanations for what they'd be doing and how much it'd cost. When I brought my car in, they confirmed the earlier pricing and then let me know that it'd be done by the end of the day, which it was. They also suggested some other service items, but didn't try to hard-sell me on anything. It's been a couple weeks and the brakes have been fine and my car runs great. I'll be bringing my car back here in the future for more service.

Their staff is so fast but, most importantly, not pushy about getting your car in and out for more customers which has been my experience at other repair places. They find the problem (or all the problems if you ignore the little squeaks and rattles your car makes for way too long), send a list of what they can fix, and you select what you want to be fixed at that time. All at your timing. Nordgren is affordable and convenient and will definitely be having myself and my family as customers for a long time. I highly recommend their fast and honest service!

I politely asked her if I'm able to take them off when need be, she got all super defensive about it and told me that I stripped them. Lol.....we exchanged words and then asked if I'm not able to get my lug nuts off will they take em off for me. Tricia and the mechanic Bill said once I leave the parking lot I'm on my own. Tricia is the worse manager I've ever seen in the history of an auto shop. Who calls their customer names? She called me a dumbass and so on, in exchange she got an ear full from me as well. Even the other customers said I wasn't in the wrong and AutoMax broke their engine by doing some work and not putting any oil in it. AutoMax is has the worse customer service ever...if anyone needs work done I recommend Vidal Auto Services across the street from them. I took my truck right across to Vidal's, they looked at the lug nuts and said they are pretty much stripped. They said if they were the ones who stripped the lug nuts while taking them off they would of replaced them or been honest with me about it.

One day, my old Honda transformed into a racing car. At idle, it would go vroom and when I hit the…read moregas, it would go VROOOM. The new auto experience was sublime but then I realized I was only going 20 mph and making farting noises. An auto repair shop recommended Auto Max for exhaust problems, so I called them up and they told me to bring the car in. There was no wait and my Honda was immediately inspected by a mechanic. He showed me what was causing the problem and gave me a quote. He didn't use any salesman tactics on me or pressure me into a decision. Based on my few minutes of Google research, I thought the quote was fairly reasonable. Within the hour, my car was back into its old self and not making farting noises. While I sat in their waiting room, I watched the front desk person interact with customers and I noticed they were friendly and did not use dirty sales tactics. If you got car issues, you'll be in good hands at Auto Max.

After 3 dealings with Blue Line - averaging it all out to a solid 4 stars…read more My wife and I had 3 interactions with Blue Line over the past few years...one bad, one good, and one very good. So I'm averaging everything out to 4 stars. 1. My wife stopped by a few years ago to get a quote for bumper repair on our old Chevy Malibu. The manager was very rude to my wife and said he didn't have time to deal with people that were quote shopping for an insurance money payout. My wife was furious! In fact, she flipped out. My wife is from Peru, South America, and she was convinced that the entire episode was racist and demeaning to her as a Latin woman. 2. I stopped by last year to get a quote on rust repair and new paint for my daughter's big jacked up, blacked out, bad ass Cadillac Escalade with 37 inch tires. Jesse convinced me that the money for rust repair alone would be at least $15,000. I'd be better off starting with a different rust-free vehicle from a southern state. Oh, well. A bitter pill but good honest advice and much appreciated. 3. Most recently Blue Line repaired my Toyota Matrix. It was hit by the tire delivery lady at Slim's Motor Clinic while parked out back. The insurance company sucked. But Blue Line was awesome! Once payment was finally received, they did a beautiful job. And they did it with lightning speed. They even did some extra painting, which I really appreciated. Excellent communication too. After 51 days, Jesse took mercy on me and let me take the car...even though the insurance company hadn't made the final payment yet. Overall, I'm averaging it all out to 4 stars because my most recent experience was so fantastic. Thumbs up! -Daddy Maxx Retro

I took my car in almost a year ago, for what turned out to be its last visit to a mechanic (hence…read morethe delay; I was in mourning for that car). My engine temperature gauge was in the red zone, and initially Rav thought it was a thermostat issue. I also got an oil change. Anyway, once the thermostat was replaced, he drove it around and the engine was still heating up. He suggested it could be a head gasket issue. I know just enough to to know that "gasket" means expensive, and when I, being the impulsive type that I am, asked how much and if he'd be willing to repair it, he basically said that it wasn't worth the money but conveyed sympathy for delivering the bad news. This is an HONEST mechanic, because he could have taken me for some serious money without fixing the problem, and I wouldn't have known better. He ended up putting the old thermostat back in the car and only charging me for the oil change. That car is now gone, but I will take my current car to Sterling when the dealer's promotional free service period expires.

Rivets within wheel well skirt were simply left off and not reinstalled. The wheel well skirt is loose and flopping around. Nearly $1,400 in shock replacement work done and this is the best they could do? Not acceptable. We called after noticing the white rivets. The person at the front desk denied any knowledge of anything. Lastly, after replacing all four shocks and all four tires with brand new tires, we were told by the manager Damian that the "Jeep Death Wobble" would stop. A month later It did not stop and was just as bad as before all of the above was replaced. We found a reputable and knowledgeable mechanic who replaced the tie rods. That has fixed the Jeep "Death Wobble." Tires Plus should have recommended that we go to a mechanic that could have checked the tie rods first before Tires Plus charged $1,400 to replace the shocks. Replacing the shocks AND the tires DID NOT solve the problem. The root cause of the problem was the tie rods. We wonder now if Tires Plus did a shotty job installing all four shocks?
