I went yesterday after work to this location and after a long day, and just wanting to go home, the nicest guy, Greg, met me with a smile and a great attitude, and got my tires fixed up perfectly and in great timing. I really appreciated how friendly and honest he was!!! My truck was also ready earlier than I thought it was going to be and Max was great and brought it right over! I had not gone to this location before but will be back! read more

You won't find a better place than discount tire for your maintenance. Very professional and helpful. It can get busy, so be sure to make an appointment, but that is a testament to their trusted service. Get Kaden to help you! He is a champ. read more

Sal and team really helped me out. I had a duley tire on the inside that I just realized was flat. They took it all apart, found a bolt stuck in the tire. Fixed it for free! Totally squared me away. Hard to believe there making money but I sure am happy. I will definitely replace my other tires here. I've had a bad experience at a different Discount Tire out of state, but nothing but great experiences at the ones in North Texas. read more

I go out of my way to visit this location. Service is always quick and efficient. Staff always friendly & informative.

Sal went completely above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of -- truly one of the kindest souls I've come across in customer service. The whole staff was so genuine and helpful. Reminder to pay acts of kindness toward, great company! read more

**Title: Exceptional Service and Quality at Discount Tire Plano by Nicholas** I recently visited Discount Tire at 2260 State Hwy 121 in Plano, TX, because several other locations were booked solidly , and I was thoroughly impressed with the service and quality they (Nicholas) provided. When I walked in, Nicholas greeted me warmly and welcomed me. The service was prompt, efficient, and professional. I asked Nicholas to check my 2 front tires for air leaks. He verified and informed me that Discount can replace new tires as I purchased the life time protection package The installation process was quick, and they even checked the alignment and balanced the tires to ensure optimal performance. What stood out to me was Nicholas's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. He offered /explained a lifetime balance and rotation service, which is a fantastic value. Overall, my experience at Discount Tire was outstanding. I highly recommend this location to anyone needing tire services. The knowledgeable staff, excellent service, and quality products make Discount Tire a top choice for tire needs in Plano. Thanks for the excellent service Nicholas provided. Way to go, Nicholas Anthony Trần read more

Great service, these guys took their time and got the job done when other stores provided little to no good customer service. These guys made sure to put all my caps on and shined my tires up as well. Couldn't be more happier with their service. Thankyou. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If patience were people, it'd be this entire staff. They worked through several challenges with me. They are kind, provide excellent service and have a lot of empathy. Sal is a great manager, and it's apparent that he serves as a stellar model example. They have been MAJOR blessings to me today. Thank you! read more

Discount Tire has been the only place I buy my tires. The employees at this location are friendly and helpful as other locations. It can be a bit tedious when leaving as it's located on 121 service road. My last visit didn't go as smoothly as it usually does. I had an appointment for two tires to be installed, which I ordered a few days before. 1 of the 2 tires was not the correct size. They apologized for the mishap after I waited an hour. I understand things happen, but I'm not happy I have to go back. I will still choose Discount Tire for all my tire needs. read more

This discount tire has multiple employees who try to scam you into getting new tires. Almost every time I go in for nail plug I end up purchasing new tires except this last time. I went in for a nail that was in the center of the tire. The guy tried to tell me my tires were on level 4 and they recommended I change them all. I have a brand new car that only has 15k miles on it. I said well if that's true I am going to take it to the dealer because I have only driven this car 15k miles. He then proceeded to tell me that they always put soft tires on for the first time. What a crock of shit. He was just trying to scam me because I'm a woman and alone. He then said oh the nail head is worn so they probably won't be able to repair. I waited anyways. The guys who fixed the tire were awesome. When I asked if there was an issue with getting the nail out he said no, it was quick and easy. I also asked him about the wear on my tires and he said they had probably 50k miles left. I will not be returning to this location. I shouldn't have to deal with scammers at the front desk. read more

I had an excellent experience at Discount Tire. While picking my kid up from school, I passed through a construction zone and hit a nail. My tire light was on the entire way home, so I took it to discount tire immediately. They took the time to explain my options without pushing unnecessary services, which is something I HATE about other locations. And the pricing was very reasonable compared to other places. It's so nice to be able to get work done on my car without it breaking the bank! Most other places would try and sell me 4 new tires and a hundred other services. The wait time was minimal even though I didn't have an appointment or anything and they got me back on the road quickly. I haven't had any issues with my tires since, even though I'm prone to hitting potholes and curbs in my car. My car is also quite old, but they fixed it without an issue all the same. What really stood out was their customer service. I've had bad experiences with a lot of other car shops in the area so I usually dread going to repair stores, but this experience made me so comfortable and I won't be so anxious in the future. Thumbs up! read more

Awful and absurd place. They keep breaking the wheel studs. Second time on my vehicle. Obviously some incompetent trigger happy mechanics with an impact wrench. An entire afternoon gone fixing what they broke. Had to take my vehicle to brakes plus who wasted an entire afternoon. Terrible place and would never return to this dump again. I would give this place a ZERO. read more

Great store. I came right at closing and they took me in with a smile. And Very honest people employees as well. I thought I needed to buy a tire but I left without having to spend a dime. All I needed was a patch. I will definitely be back when I need tires. read more

Every single time, the air valve caps are all gone after an air check. Is it too much to ask to properly tighten them?

Courtesy as usual, great service and price. Workers that are patient with all customers big or small. No place better

These guys rock! This is our "go to" location whenever we have everything from a Nail to needing new tires. Always very courteous, professional and patient! Cant say enough... good team all around. read more

WOW! I experienced some outstanding customer service this morning at this location. Yesterday I discovery a nail in a tire and stopped by Discount Tire for them to look at and repair. Manuel M. helped me during the checkin process and said he would have me out in 30-40 minutes. In 25 minutes my car was pulled up and they gave me the sheetrock screw that's was in the center of thread. When stepping up to pay Manuel for the repair, he handled me an invoice with a zero charge for the "Free Flat Repair and Rebalance". I have done some business over the years with Discount Tire, but haven't spent a great deal of money with them so I was so impressed how they handled my service today. Thus the 5 Stars! If you are in the area and need tire service, visit Manuel M! #DiscoutTire #greatcustomerservice #tireservice read more

I got a good deal on tires here and they were very fast. Will be coming here again. BUT, after getting my tires they recommended an alignment, which they don't do. What?! How can a tire shop not offer alignments? So had to go wait some more at another tire store for an alignment. Inconvenient. read more

My brother-in-law highly recommended this Discount Tire store for their professional and friendly service. I went in to repair a nail stuck in my tire on my new Tesla that has less than 320 miles. After waiting for over 2 hours, the mechanic came back and told me that my car was ready. They said the low tire pressure was probably caused by the cold weather and they just put in my air into the tires and was ready to send me on my way. I asked if there were any problems plugging the nail hole, and the guy was puzzled and said that they didn't see any nail in the tire, even when I specifically showed the guy at the front desk the nail in my tire and he wrote it down. After I showed the mechanic the nail, he apologized and said that they would plug it right away and to just give him about 10-15 mins. He came back shortly after and said that the hole was too big to plug and that I would need to order a new tire which would cost me $517 including installation. I was very disappointed that I would have to buy a brand new tire for a car that was 1 week old. I decided to get a second opinion at another tire shop, and they were able to plug the tire in an hour and only charged $23!! I asked if the hole wasn't too big to plug, and they said that the screw was about 4mm and wasn't a problem to plug. I could not believe that Discount Tire tried to get me to spend over $500 to replace a brand new tire when they could have just plugged it!! The staff and everyone working there was super nice and friendly, but I am extremely disappointed that they weren't honest with me. Sadly, I will not be returning to Discount Tire after that experience. Trust is difficult to regain once it's compromised. read more

Wanted to have good relationship DT yesterday after 25 years but counter guy was bent on trashing different tire makers companies and car makers. Ready sell in house brands and in stock tire over customer preferred choice. Couldn't shake him. Makes customer feel lousy if they go with personal choice. Trashing customers preferred brands is like saying "you are marrying THAT? " Very childish. Guy has a chip on shoulder and he laser/stares through customers head. Trying to dominate and talk around customer. Using wait out technique to shame customer into decision they didn't want. Did it to three other people while sitting there. Customer looked upset after dealing with guy. I could hear conversation on phone. High stress for all those involve. I dunno what is causing this whether Burnt out or overzealous with in-house sale or can't read customer facial expressions. Probably chasing customers away or sours them. Your professional courtesy was the best. Usually you guys could hold door open for anyone but not this last visit. Manager/operator double check procedures are followed. Owner followup and surveillance audit. Always recommend you but I can't starting today. read more

Terrible place, run very poorly. Dawson can't shut up. Long line of people and he gabs on about his personal life with a customer. 6 people in line. And one guy Dawson at the counter. He needs to find another job since he doesn't understand customer service. I quit waiting since this was so bad. Will take my business elsewhere. read more

Went to get new tires along with everyone else before the bad weather hits-knowing I have needed to do that for months. Anyway, they were absolutely slammed. Beyond busy. Me and all the other jerks that waited until the last minute were piling in. They were very patient, helpful, and got me fixed up in time for the weather. Would absolutely recommend this location! read more

I went to get new tires for my truck and i knew which ones I wanted. When I told Dillon he was like oh I can only get two but I needed 4. So he said let me call California when they open and see what I can do but if they have them it will be 3-5 days to get two from them and two from Dallas. So he called me that day and said he could so I told him go ahead. Five days later they were here and I got them put on in less than 45 minutes. They ride so much better and I am very happy with the experience minus it was FREEZING in the lobby. Felt just as cold outside as it was inside. read more

I love this place and definitely recommend it! Very honest and up front with you about what you need. They don't try to sell you things you don't need, and if you're on a budget, they help you make good choices. Staff is nice here, but installing my tires was a total disaster. From ordering, to pricing, to installation, it was a mess.

Great shop and helpful associates. They found the right tires for both my cars and had me in and out in less than an hour. Be sure and book online and skip the long wait. read more

Would rather be at the dentist getting a triple root canal than be here listening to the attendant try to explain how tires work to some transplanted Californian. Back again after having air pressure checked four days ago. I was told at the time, "No problems ..air just a little low". Now they say, "There is a copper nail in the tire causing slow leak ...will need to replace the new tire. Go wait over an hour while we actually fix". ADVICE TO ALL: If air pressure is low, do not rely on their, "No problems". Lesson learned. read more

Sad that this company has gone really down in service and up in price. They advertise "Free Lifetime Rotation and Balance", but will decline to do this service if your tire is below 5/32" of tread (about half worn), ask them you'll see. Also declining tire repairs on the tread that I had fixed at customer expense at other shops with no problem. They use the excuse that all these are due to liabilities, but now it's anything to sell a new tire. read more

I remember when my pops brought me into an America's Tire in Rohnert Park, CA back in the late 90s and looking at the Country Map of locations as like a 12-13 year old. Even way back then I remember him saying I am going nowhere else from here on. Ever since I got my first car in the mid 2000s its been my place for ties! Now that I am in Texas that last 4 years I can only say the same thing about Discount Tire the other branding not on the West Coast. I made an appointment online 3-4 days before and when I got it superb even for a busy place. Can't thank everyone enough!!! read more

The team at Discount Tire went above and beyond. I have bought tires from them before but when my wife ran over a nail in her 2024 Range Rover and the dealer said the tire could not be repaired because the tire had acoustic foam inside and a new tire would be $600 installed. Angel at Discount tire said bring it by and we will look at it and I thought to myself they are just going to say they can not fix it either and just want to sell me a new tire but that was not the case. They looked at it and fixed it for free. These people are honest and great to do business with and when I do need tires like we all will at some time I am going straight to the team at Discount tire. read more

Beat store in Plano and in the area. Very Fast, great people and fantastic quality. And you can't beat the prices.

Mr.Collins reminded the world today good people are still out there. We went in as strangers to help a single local mom with bald tires for the holidays get some safe new tires, they almost gave out in the rain yesterday on the way over, but before we could get there to pitch in Mr Collins made sure this woman in need was taken care of, treated her so kindly and with such respect and was such an angel to her and all of us on this holiday season. What an example this man is leading, 5 stars. Thank you for always being so reliable! read more

I Got a smart car a few months ago, then had blowout and ruined a wheel the other day. The particular tires were only for smart cars (I Did not know ugh). So he ordered me 2 tires, and he ordered my wheel too!!! All VERY VERY quickly with the BEST deal possible. Very nice guy. Also noticed great and quick service at this particular location!!! #thejoelewis read more
