This discount tire has multiple employees who try to scam you into getting new tires. Almost every time I go in for nail plug I end up purchasing new tires except this last time. I went in for a nail that was in the center of the tire. The guy tried to tell me my tires were on level 4 and they recommended I change them all. I have a brand new car that only has 15k miles on it. I said well if that's true I am going to take it to the dealer because I have only driven this car 15k miles. He then proceeded to tell me that they always put soft tires on for the first time. What a crock of shit. He was just trying to scam me because I'm a woman and alone. He then said oh the nail head is worn so they probably won't be able to repair. I waited anyways. The guys who fixed the tire were awesome. When I asked if there was an issue with getting the nail out he said no, it was quick and easy. I also asked him about the wear on my tires and he said they had probably 50k miles left. I will not be returning to this location. I shouldn't have to deal with scammers at the front desk. read more

I had an excellent experience at Discount Tire. While picking my kid up from school, I passed through a construction zone and hit a nail. My tire light was on the entire way home, so I took it to discount tire immediately. They took the time to explain my options without pushing unnecessary services, which is something I HATE about other locations. And the pricing was very reasonable compared to other places. It's so nice to be able to get work done on my car without it breaking the bank! Most other places would try and sell me 4 new tires and a hundred other services. The wait time was minimal even though I didn't have an appointment or anything and they got me back on the road quickly. I haven't had any issues with my tires since, even though I'm prone to hitting potholes and curbs in my car. My car is also quite old, but they fixed it without an issue all the same. What really stood out was their customer service. I've had bad experiences with a lot of other car shops in the area so I usually dread going to repair stores, but this experience made me so comfortable and I won't be so anxious in the future. It can be a bit tedious when leaving as it's located on 121 service road. My last visit didn't go as smoothly as it usually does. I had an appointment for two tires to be installed, which I ordered a few days before. 1 of the 2 tires was not the correct size. They apologized for the mishap after I waited an hour. My brother-in-law highly recommended this Discount Tire store for their professional and friendly service. I went in to repair a nail stuck in my tire on my new Tesla that has less than 320 miles. After waiting for over 2 hours, the mechanic came back and told me that my car was ready. They said the low tire pressure was probably caused by the cold weather and they just put in my air into the tires and was ready to send me on my way. I asked if there were any problems plugging the nail hole, and the guy was puzzled and said that they didn't see any nail in the tire, even when I specifically showed the guy at the front desk the nail in my tire and he wrote it down. After I showed the mechanic the nail, he apologized and said that they would plug it right away and to just give him about 10-15 mins. He came back shortly after and said that the hole was too big to plug and that I would need to order a new tire which would cost me $517 including installation. I was very disappointed that I would have to buy a brand new tire for a car that was 1 week old. I decided to get a second opinion at another tire shop, and they were able to plug the tire in an hour and only charged $23!! I asked if the hole wasn't too big to plug, and they said that the screw was about 4mm and wasn't a problem to plug. I could not believe that Discount Tire tried to get me to spend over $500 to replace a brand new tire when they could have just plugged it!! The staff and everyone working there was super nice and friendly, but I am extremely disappointed that they weren't honest with me. Sadly, I will not be returning to Discount Tire after that experience. Trust is difficult to regain once it's compromised. read more

WOW! I experienced some outstanding customer service this morning at this location. Yesterday I discovery a nail in a tire and stopped by Discount Tire for them to look at and repair. Manuel M. helped me during the checkin process and said he would have me out in 30-40 minutes. In 25 minutes my car was pulled up and they gave me the sheetrock screw that's was in the center of thread. When stepping up to pay Manuel for the repair, he handled me an invoice with a zero charge for the "Free Flat Repair and Rebalance". Ready sell in house brands and in stock tire over customer preferred choice. Couldn't shake him. Makes customer feel lousy if they go with personal choice. Trashing customers preferred brands is like saying "you are marrying THAT? " Very childish. Guy has a chip on shoulder and he laser/stares through customers head. Trying to dominate and talk around customer. Using wait out technique to shame customer into decision they didn't want. Did it to three other people while sitting there. Customer looked upset after dealing with guy. I could hear conversation on phone. High stress for all those involve. I dunno what is causing this whether Burnt out or overzealous with in-house sale or can't read customer facial expressions. Probably chasing customers away or sours them. Your professional courtesy was the best. Usually you guys could hold door open for anyone but not this last visit. Manager/operator double check procedures are followed. I went to get new tires for my truck and i knew which ones I wanted. When I told Dillon he was like oh I can only get two but I needed 4. So he said let me call California when they open and see what I can do but if they have them it will be 3-5 days to get two from them and two from Dallas. So he called me that day and said he could so I told him go ahead. Five days later they were here and I got them put on in less than 45 minutes. Would rather be at the dentist getting a triple root canal than be here listening to the attendant try to explain how tires work to some transplanted Californian. Back again after having air pressure checked four days ago. I was told at the time, "No problems ..air just a little low". Now they say, "There is a copper nail in the tire causing slow leak ...will need to replace the new tire. Go wait over an hour while we actually fix". Sad that this company has gone really down in service and up in price. They advertise "Free Lifetime Rotation and Balance", but will decline to do this service if your tire is below 5/32" of tread (about half worn), ask them you'll see. Also declining tire repairs on the tread that I had fixed at customer expense at other shops with no problem. They use the excuse that all these are due to liabilities, but now it's anything to sell a new tire. read more

I have bought tires from them before but when my wife ran over a nail in her 2024 Range Rover and the dealer said the tire could not be repaired because the tire had acoustic foam inside and a new tire would be $600 installed.
