This Discount tire location in Ahwatukee has always been fantastic! I used to deal with Johnny and he always provided exemplary service. I went back yesterday and met Dylan, who exceeded my expectations. He took his time with me even though the store was busy. He is super friendly and excellent at multi-tasking. After researching tires for my jeep I went in with a brand in mind. But Dylan offered me another option based on his personal experience and what he had on his truck. The price was better then any other tire shop or jeep shop around. All in all Dylan and the staff at this location are great! read more

Quick tire check before. Although not a positive outcome - Tyren was friendly and knowledgeable! (I hope I spelled it correctly)

I have been going here for years. And they always save the day for me!!! whether it is a free air pressure check or whether I get a nail in my tire, they are there for me. The prices are great, and the service is always really fast. I love the warranty too!! definitely the only place I go for tire issues! read more

Great customer service! I informed them of my issues i was having and they inspected, gave me my options & recommendations and I went with what I could afford at the time. I will definitely be back, thank you to whole team! read more

Discount Tire - All around new tires n lug nuts installed. - Tires Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Recently, I had a tire issue while at work and needed to have it looked at a location near work versus my usual Discount Tire by my house. I must say, no matter the location as I've been to two others besides this one, the level of excellent service is across the board. As well, they have competitive pricing in each location compared to other shops. Definitely recommend for your tire service needs, and they will even fill the air in your tires if needed. I always bring a few dollars to tip to say thank you. Appreciate the quick service to get me back on the road again. read more

Great location, quick service and friendly, courteous employees. Had them put a new set of tires on and I walked across the street to Tukee's Sports Grill while I waited. Discount knocked my tires out quicker than I was able to finish my lunch! Super impressed. Josh the manager of the store took care of me and provides top notch service. Good experience and my SUV loves her new shoes. read more

I would get tires from here but that's about it, try to avoid the wheel alignment service, I had to come back twice and it was still off. Needed to go to the dealer to get it done correctly. But I like the tires they had to offer read more

Let me tell you a little story about my encounter here at Discount Tire.. I was on my way back to CA and you know me, always on the go go!! I fly more than I do drive when going back home, but this was my first time back to CA in my Big Bertha sinceI moved out here in December. I always make sure my tire pressure is good to go before embarking on any road trip. Discount Tire was the first place that popped up on Yelp since I literally live around the corner. I arrived shortly before 10 am on a Monday morning. There were a few cars ahead of me but the line moved pretty quickly. So this very friendly guy with a nice smile known as Jason B. tells me he'll take care of me, and he went right to work doing his thing. It only took a few minutes, but when he was done, he came back to my window and informed me that my spare tire needed to be flipped. Something about the valve being turned the other way, and that if I should happen to need it during my drive back to San Diego, it wouldn't be good. That kinda freaked me out, so I told him I didn't have time to do it right then and there, but I might have time to have it done while in CA. He smiled politely and said that if I didn't get it done there, that he would be here when I got back. Turns out I stayed a few days longer than I had planned on, and so I went back today. Once again, I had the pressure checked since I drove another 300 miles back to Phoenix. And once again, he was out there doing the hustle. It was finally my turn and I said, "Ahhh.. Mr. Jason B., we meet again!" Lol He remembered me, and did the work needed. Tire pressure check, followed by the spare tire thing. This time, Chris in the red shirt came out and told me my spare needs to be changed. BB is 12 years old, so the spare is showing its age, I guess. He gave me a quote on the cost and so I'll have to return again one of these days. I will need to make a 3rd visit because I totally forgot to have them rotate my tires!! Ayayayyyy! I had the oil changed before I left CA and I always have them done at the same time. Oh well... I guess I'll just happen to run into Jason B. yet again. =) I mean, he DID call me his "return customer," hehe... That I definitely am, and because of the great customer service with the best smile, I have found my go-to place for all things tire related! 3rd check-in coming soon (guess who the Duchess is?!)! I highly recommend Discount Tire in the Ahwatukee area if you're looking for awesome service and tires. You won't go wrong here. And if you see J.B. (NOT Justin Bieber), tell him I sent you! ;) read more

I went in for a routine tire check and was told I had only 5% tread life left and needed four new tires very soon. One tire was allegedly so unsafe they wouldn't even inflate it. That sounded extreme, so I got a second opinion. Tires2Go found a nail in that tire, repaired it, rotated all four, and confirmed I had 40% tread life remaining. I'm all for caution, but this felt like fear-based upselling. I left Discount Tire feeling pressured and confused. I left Tires2Go feeling informed and cared for. That contrast speaks volumes. read more

They're doing all right. Job usually booked a little bit too much for my taste but the weirdest thing there besides one of the times going there they lost my custom valve caps is the fact that you have a bathroom with no soap dispenser built-in or even a soap bottle in the bathroom has to be against some kind of health code read more

Recently bought a car. The alignment didn't seem to be bad but it seemed like a good idea to have it done along with other wheel/ tire work being done at this Discount Tire. They told me they got it straight and charged me $90 plus my $10 tip. Started driving down the road to find immediately that my car now pulls hard to the left into oncoming traffic! Wow having this done here was a huge mistake! I took it to another shop who knows what they are doing and got it fixed. read more

Manager Isaiah filled my tires one day and I asked about pricing for replacement. He gave me a great price on 4 new tires, plus a discount for one tire due to it only being at half-life. Discount Tire will need to add 2nd and 3rd lane for air check. it will save so much time and make process more speedy!

I received a recall notification on my tires last week and went in to see the manager Josh Tarnow. Josh checked my tires and agreed they qualified for the recall and ordered replacement tires for my truck the following morning. I arrived for my appointment and Josh informed me he wouldn't change my tires out even though he admitted doing the same thing to five customers the week before. Now I am left driving on recalled tires. Avoid this store and the Manager. read more

Ordered 4 Michelins for my car online and went in to have them installed. Was told 2 of the tires would have to come from the warehouse and I'd get a call to make sure they arrived at 4 pm. No call. Checked my email and found out they arrived so I made a reservation for 11 am the next day. Arrived at 10:50am and checked in. My car made it to the installation bay at 1:05pm and was done at 2pm. Meanwhile a silver BMW that arrived after me was taken in and serviced. Bonus-my right rear wheel was gouged by the tire machine so I got to spend additional time getting it repaired. 5 weeks of dealing with their 3rd party claims department in Ohio. All because of sloppy and careless service. Never again read more

Shoutout to the guys who work at this discount tire!! My boyfriend had a blowout earlier today & they sold him 4 brand new falken tires for his truck, with a warranty. We had to go out and throw the replaced new tire & wheel back on, and got back before they closed hoping that they'd be willing to put on the 3 extra tires... They stayed late to get the job done & did it in under 25 mins with no complaint! I don't usually like shops, but this discount deserves a round of applause for immaculate service and a hardworking team! read more

Great place just do not and I repeat do not talk to Robert he's super rude and very snappy when all I did was call to get an update he said my car tire just got there and he needed a few more hours. It's 2:01 I droped it off around 11. I don't understand why I am not In line already and can't just have my 1 tire put on . Robert is disrespectful to customers and has no respect to tell you what's going on. Also didn't wanna give me a recipe and didn't told me it would be coming in my email . Still waiting. But robort back in the back adding air to tires and instead of the manager doing something about while my car is still there he instead gives me a link that don't work . Just wish they would call and have robert get his head out of his ass and get the one tire put on read more

Nice folks. BUT Terribly managed. Need to rework the appointment system. You simply cannot set appointments and expect your customers with appointments to wait 20 minutes in line with walk ins to check in. Not ok. Appointment system isn't working here. I have four vehicles and they only go to Discount Tire - specifically this location. I've purchased at least 3 sets of tires over the past 4 years and always purchased the road hazard warranty. I even would replace as recommended by my sales rep. We've been hit with some serious issues that have exhausted savings. I picked up a nail, my new guy at discount couldn't be more excited that he couldn't patch it (it was way to close to the side wall). My truck literally has 11,000 miles on it so we're not ready to throw $1500 at it for new tires. Just had to replace the one OEM tire. $375.00!! "Sir, have you heard of our road hazard warranty?" YES, I ONLY TAKE MY VEHICLES TO THIS LOCATION AND I'M A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR THE 12th TIME. Then proceeded to try to sell me the warranty for the remaining 3 tires. So a nail in my fairly new tire was approaching $525.00. The money needed to be spent, but we've been hit so hard with expenses this guy could have pretended to care. Instead, I will never set foot in this location again. Enjoy your one off's from the I-10 who are just passing through town and need a quick repair. 4 vehicles and I drive around 50K miles per year. You guys are too busy to care. read more

I came into get a quote to replace all 4 tires and they told me to wait to call the manufacturer and verify lead times which is completely okay. After 30 minutes of waiting they didn't get back to me and started taking care of other customers. I guess they have too much business already and not don't really want new customers. Later, they tried to call again and said they have ordered the tires and would be delivered Tuesday. I spoke to someone in the store 3 times. Then Thursday they call me and tell me i have been unreachable since the week before and they called be 6 times and couldn't reach me. Even though i told the person i did speak to them 3 times he didn't believe me (lol) but then he tried to lie about how the tires were coming from different stores(completely opposite of what the person earlier in the week told me. They said they ordered it directly from the manufacturer to prevent it). So far, it is such a frustrating experience. All i want is new freaking tires on my car man and all this hassle and drama is just unnecessary. I would avoid this place at all cost. Tire prices are almost same in every other store, these guys put secret fees on checkout which brings the total the same as Firestone or other places. So just go to another spot. read more

EVERY TIME WE GO FOR AN AIR CHECK. Nearly an hour wait!!! Would you like to know why? Because anyone can have their tires air checked there. I have 5 vehicles that I get tires with AT or DT. 10s of thousands of dollars of tires in the last number of years. And the thanks I get is to WAIT WAIT WAIT!! Great customer service to put an actual paying customer behind people who went to Costco or Walmart to buy tires. Well I guess I'll do that as well. This is by far the BEST Discount Tire location in the Valley. The guys working here are so kind and helpful. I drive out of my way (despite living closer to many other locations) because the customer service can't be beat. Long story short... I had a flat tire, took my truck to this Discount Tire location on a Saturday. Tire was unable to be fixed. They said the tire was ordered and it would arrive Monday. They would call me but did not receive a phone call. I called on Weds., they said the tire was never ordered. I had to wait until Sat. to receive tire. I took my truck in to have new tire installed, tire was installed but they removed one of my good tires and left the defective tire on my truck. This is terrible service and unacceptable! Had 4 tires replaced here these guys saved me nearly $1000 on what our usual place charges. Can't say enough good things about them. Also I had about a million questions about the tread and other stuff that I keep records of and they patiently answered every question. These guys go above and beyond and I have no problem congratulating them on it. Exceptional service. read more

Came here just to get some air in my tires today. The one man filling the tires I watched walk away from the vehicles just about every time they came up for air chatting with co-workers. After 40+ minutes of waiting in line I finally got up to get air and of course his battery was dead and left once again. He dragged out filling my tires and basically stood directly behind my vehicle as I tried to back out. Just go to the big O tires if you need air. Nicer people and very quick. read more
