Phenomenal. Outstanding. 100/10. My tire pressure light came on a few days ago, and today I had the time to stop and get it checked out. I'm so grateful for the fellas here at Big O. I pulled up and they filled three of my tires, and noticed a screw in one of my rear tires. Because my paycheck doesn't come in until tomorrow, I asked if it was something that could hold until then. It very much wasn't, unfortunately. The guy filling my tires asked me if I had time, which I did, but I told him I didn't have the money for repair until tomorrow. His response? "I didn't ask if you had money, I asked if you had the time." HE PATCHED MY TIRE FOR FREE. I'm mindblown. I wish I'd gotten his name. Tomorrow I plan on swinging by again and giving a massive tip. Not only did they get my car in immediately on a Sunday, but they patched my tire before I had even finished lunch down the street, and when I returned to pick up my car, they didn't even charge me!! And no, I had not even purchased my current tires at Big O. The experience felt like a little miracle, especially after one of their competitors had just told me they would need to keep my car for two and a half hours. Just left this place. Feel like the least I can do is leave a one star review. Dude told me cost of repairs would be $311. Or $570 if I did the front brakes. I said I'll hold off on the brakes. When work was done total came out to $555. I said I thought you said the total was $311. He said that was the additional price because what I was originally going there for was about $200. I said if you would've told me that I would've have agreed to it. That dude knows what he did. Be careful with these guys. I'll be filing a police report and disputing the charge with my bank to hopefully get my money back. Didn't want to make a scene in the store about it. I'm not ok with just being lied to like that and I'll make sure I do what I can to fight it. Dude should have been honest. read more

Owners Bought 5 tires with warranty for a trailer. Drove the trailer 5 times short distances in AZ. Few months out of paid warranty 2 tires exploded on one trip local causing the entire electrical system to cover to be exposed and ripped apart by the tire. They obviously were defective tires or retreads sold as new. We were stranded on the side of the freeway in a dangerous situation. Big O didn't care. Won't replace defective tires or repair the damage it caused to the RV. We are in the extended time warranty up to 5 years and that should cover it but management finds it easier to say no. Discount Tire stands behind their products but not Big O. read more

My experience with Big O Tires was incredibly disappointing. I brought my Honda in for what I believed would be routine repairs, including motor mounts and a radiator replacement. Unfortunately, it quickly became evident that the technicians lacked the necessary expertise for the job. Upon receiving my car back after the repairs, I immediately encountered transmission issues. Despite assurances from Big O Tires, the transmission began malfunctioning the very next day, exhibiting erratic behavior. Seeking assistance, I returned to Big O Tires for a diagnosis, only to be met with incompetence and excuses. Their inability to identify the root cause of the issue was evident, and their proposed solutions were both costly and uncertain. The situation took a turn for the worse when my transmission failed completely as I left Big O Tires after requesting an inspection to determine why my car was not functioning properly following their repairs. This left me stranded on the highway; I had to call roadside assistance for a tow. Frustrated and desperate for answers, I sought the opinion of a seasoned mechanic with over 40 years of experience. He came by and spent 2 hours inspecting and went over with me what will cause this to happen so suddenly and pointed out how badly the radiator was done, clear to see someone who did not know what they were doing did the work on my car. His assessment was clear: the transmission failure was a direct result of Big O Tires' negligence, specifically, the use of incorrect transmission fluid after the radiator replacement. This oversight could have been avoided had they used the appropriate fluid for my Honda. Furthermore, their failure to acknowledge the glaring errors in their workmanship is concerning. The shoddy radiator installation, noticeable to any trained eye, was completely overlooked on both occasions, despite my concerns raised after the initial repairs. Adding insult to injury was the dismissive attitude displayed by the staff, including William at the front desk. His claim that he would not let my car leave in such condition raises serious doubts about their inspection process and attention to detail. In response to these failures, I have lodged a complaint with the BBB and am considering legal action to hold Big O Tires accountable for their incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Big O Tires at all costs. Their incompetence and dismissive service are unacceptable. Posted this to a neighborhood app and so many people have come out the woods with similar bad experiences, definitely steer clear of this place, they clearly don't know how to work on cars very well and if they break yours they will not help to fix and point the finger elsewhere. read more

I needed something that was a quick and easy fix yet I had been calling around all morning and no one could help me. I even went to a different big o location that said they could help me and wanted to charge me $200. I'm a hard working young man, I had an unfortunate morning where I popped a tire. I put the spare on an brought it to big o which I've been to the location before, I was asked by the manager if im a returning customer and I said yes. they put me down to get a new tire and alignment. didn't check If I was under warranty or even bother to look at my file. they change the tire and did an alignment, I went to the pay station there was a set amount that I wasn't sure of because I thought I had warranty in which is their job to check the file. after realizing the managers mistake he tells me he wishes I wouldve told him that I had the warranty but clearly, it's in the notes of my file. which if I had not brought up the warranty he would have charged me more and then proceeds to not fulfill the whole term and complete the warranty in its full so he gave me a petty discount for a service in which should have been free. (the tire shouldve been covered under warrant and I only would've paid for the alignment). then after receiving the keys to my car and driving off I check my center console after pulling off the lot not even 3min- only to find that $100 bill is missing that I put there the night before! I return to the store and ask for a manager (Peter) where he just thumbs through the paper, can't even tell what technicians were in my vehicle for the service. and then says "well i have never had a problem with this before", I assure him that despite having a flat tire I came in with really positive and respectful energy towards the whole staff. but this is unacceptable and he just looks at me confused saying he will do an investigation ? yet you couldnt even honor my warranty on the tires I bought 4 months ago? the negligence is insane. don't waste your time here and get your money stolen. read more

Worse customer service ever. No work ethics what so ever. I was told they were supper busy so I would have to wait a couple of hours. They had me wait for 2 hours just to notify me that they didn't have my tire in the shop. I sat there while all the workers sat around on their phones. If i could give a zero i would. Do not deal with big o and let me tell you why. I took my vehicle in for an alternator on 02/03/24. I received a call saying my water pump is leaking and need replaced. So i agreed. I got my car back on 02/05/24 and noticed an issue. My engine fan was running all the time and would roar when leaving a red light or driving down the expressway. I called Big O and told them what i was hearing. The technician said that this is a normal sound for a truck even tho i have never heard it on a truck unless it was really hot outside. So another week of the roaring i take it to the dealership who checks it out and says that the fan clutch has failed and needs to be taken back to whomever put the new parts on. Now i made an appointment with Big O to have it looked at. I arrived at 8 and the person at the desk who was the same person when i brought it in acted like he could careless that i was there and barley spoke to me. I didnt get a call back like before saying my car was ready i received a text message at 10:30. I went to pick up my car at 4:30 and again he acted like he could careless and didnt explain anything to me. Just had me sign and handed me my key. I went to my truck and started it and the roaring was still there. I am so disappointed with big o. I was told not to go to them and i should have listen. Almost 3 weeks and my truck isnt fixed. I will tell anyone and everyone i know not to go to big o. I will leave reviews anywhere i can. I wish i would have listened and taken my vehicle elsewhere. read more

While driving in the 101 I had a warning pop up that my tire pressure was 18. I didn't know the area so I searched the nearest tire shop. Discount came up so I headed there. Two front desk people were helping others on the phone and the third was with a customer. Stood there for a while and no one even looked up at me. I walked out and searched again. Chose the Big O on Rural Rd. I am so happy I did! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I wish I had gotten a name because he was so friendly. Anyway they did a good job and had my tire repaired in about 15 minutes and had me on my way so I was only 30 minutes late to my meeting. I recommend them! read more

I booked an appointment for 2pm and was then called to come in earlier since they were available with the tire I had chosen. Once there, I was informed that they no longer had the tire. This was in a span of 30-40 minutes. They then try to sell me on something that was double the price I wanted to pay. I told them I couldn't afford that, their reply was "we have financing". The employee helping me was rude and seemed put off by the fact that he'd have to send someone to pick up the tires at a different place. The customer service there needs improvement. These guys do a terrific job. I liked the first job they did on my truck I took my other truck to get new tires on it too. I called and let them know the tires I wanted and they had them or got them in hours. They did great jobs on both trucks. All the guys in the shop are very nice too. I had issues with my tires pressure sensors and they fixed it. I had one busted lug stud and they installed new ones as needed. The best tire shop I ever found. I met the owner and he is ever cool too. He races a desert rail in races all over the country. What a great guy!!! Thank you Big O! read more

Pete and his crew have taken great care of the tires on our vehicles for the past ten years, and because of their great service, we haven't really gone astray (except for the few times we were in a bind and couldn't get to this facility). They always make sure we get a great deal and make sure we know we are riding safely on the road. They do it all. From tires, to balancing, alignment, oil changes, and more. Today when I bought my tires, I realized I had been bringing my car to the competitor for oil changes when I should have been coming here all along. That is going to change today! *I personally did not go to this site, but it is my car that was worked on* I normally only leave good reviews with a justified score, but what happened on 9/22/2018 was unthinkable. My girlfriend and her mother went to this Big O Tires for tire replacement on two tires and an alignment. (Granted it was close to closing time) The tech says that they cannot perform an alignment because one of the rims were bent. They did suggest going to a Junk Yard because if they ordered them it would be expensive. Long review short. If they had attempted an alignment, they would have noticed that they had stripped the lugs which resulted in endangering my girlfriend's life (I am sending the video of the tire being movable without being jacked) and destroying my new breaks. I work in service, and I believe in excellence no matter if it's close to closing time or not. I am not happy at all. read more
