Love the free air and love a rep from Discount tire actually does it for you! Give him a buck, it's worth it. Good tires are pricey but in my research they were the lowest and have very good warranties, even if you only need 2 tires, if the other 2 are above a certain depth you can include them in the new tire warranty so all 4 are covered. We have been Discount customers for years and have been happy with the tires and services most of the time. Occasionally we have left feeling that they were pushing tires when there was still tread left. I had tire damage (that I caused) on one rear tire and, after looking at it and looking up when I bought it, realized I had over 50K on that pair. I headed to Discount, was met by Joe, and, after looking at my tires he noticed some splits in the sides of the newest ones right below the tread line. He didn't think that was normal and, to make a long story short, replaced them under warranty. I drove off with (4) new tires; the two I bought and the two he warrantied. If you want a fast and honest tire place, Discount Tire is the place. All the guys at the front are great but Josh is awesome. Easy to work with, helpful in getting the right tires and not pushy to sell you the most expensive ones. I had found the tires I wanted online but when I went in to the store they were not available. I went to get my tire patched and the manager told me I needed new lug nuts. REALLY!! The only ways you can wreck a lug nut is by using the wrong tool to take the lug nut off. Nobody has ever touched the lug nuts on that tire except for Discount Tire and now they want to charge me for their mistake?!! This is unethical!! read more

After having the worst experience imaginable at another location, I took my car, problems and frustrations to Pat at the 4th St and Bell location. Not only did Pat order me a new tire due to a defective one, but he had my rims re coated after the other location decided to use a screw driver on them! I have gone several times for leaky tires, and it ends up that there were nails in the tires. Both times I was out within 30 minutes without a charge. I came in during lunch to have a leak fixed but there was a big bold in the sidewall which meant the tire was done. I knew needed tires anyway but was short on time. They moved me ahead and replaced all four tires on my Subaru super quick so I didn't have to drive with unsafe tires. Super awesome service. I came to this Discount Tire due to a flat tire that had happened overnight. I was in and out with a patched tire for free in about 30 minutes. Josh helped me, and he was so friendly, nice, and respectful. Another employee also came to let me know how much longer my wait would be. All of the employees that I interacted with were so polite and respectful; not just to me, but to other customers that I saw also. I have a 2015 Honda Civic, and I got a nail in my tire. Took it to bell honda, they told me they cannot patch it and I would need to buy a new tire. Quoted me $159. I told them I am going to discount tire to see their prices. I had asked about a certificate for the tire and he said that was included in the $159. Lies. when I went to discount tire, Patrick was so welcoming and friendly and HONEST! He checked out my tire and they were able to patch it, FOR FREE! Considering I am a young female, they could have very easily told me I needed a new tire, but they didn't. They offered me the certificate for my tires and I bought it without a question. Wonderful establishment. I'd been burned by discount years ago and swore I'd not go back until about 8 months ago when I was in a pinch and they could get me fixed up quickly. Very impressed with the service and have been back a couple times since and each visit I have been very impressed. Most recently needed a patch in my tire filled. Online scheduling was super easy and convenient. Walked in and greeted very welcomely. I was kind of weary on just getting a tired repaired for safety concerns and they answered all of my questions and in a manner that I felt very at ease letting them just do the repair. Sat there for what couldn't have even been a half hour and the technician drove my car up front and handed me a receipt and said I was good. No need for payment. Not sure if I was just lucky this Monday morning or if this is a service that they perform for no charge at all times but I was NOT about to argue with that... I will continue to be a customer of this exact location and firmly believe that every surrounding location should be trained by the staff at this spot. Thanks again y'all! read more

There have been very few times in my life where I have received such exceptional service, but this was one of those times! My tire blew while on the free way and and I was only able to drive it just enough to get it to a gas station. Luckily my mom was able to pick me up and take me to the nearest Discount Tire so I could purchase a new tire, as I didn't think that I had a spare. Not only did the assistant manager Richard Alvarez provide amazing customer service, but he also offered to follow us to where my car was parked, take off my tire, and replace it with the new one. Upon getting to my car, we realized that I did in fact have a spare tire that was under the trunk. So he put my spare on for me and then followed me back to Discount. I think I speak for not all, but some women out there, when I say that changing tires/car problems in general are not exactly "my area of expertise." I love this location. A few years back my husband and I were doing yardwork for foreclosed houses and had to get our tires replaced and fixed a few times. They were always very nice and there was one guy who was there almost every time we went in. He remembered us every time and also remembered our conversations from previous visits. They helped us find the best deal based on the money we had available and worked around our lack of reverse. Driving home from work the other day I noticed a strange noise coming from my car so I inspected my tires when arriving home, there was a large screw in one of my tires. Due to it being too late to go over to Discount Tire on 4th Ave & Bell, the place I purchased the tires, I set an appointment for the next day on their website to take the car in and have the tire repaired. Well I had an appointment so I thought my car would go into a bay right after checking in, boy was I wrong. I waited about 30 minutes before the car was pulled into a bay, in fact another vehicle was pulled in to the first available bay before mine. Second disappointment, after the car was in the bay I was told by one of the technicians that the tire thread was at 4/32", not 30 minutes before the manager told me the tire thread was 5/32". I did feel a bit uneasy as to how the 2 measurements taken so close together could be different. I was asked if I wanted trade-in credit for my existing tires if I replaced then today. We usually budget purchase like this out so we have the money to pay for the tires and tires with 4/32" or 5/32" certainly do have some life let in them. The tires were covered by Certificate For Repair, Refund or Replacement so there was no cost to me and no income to the store. I have been a Discount tire customer with several vehicles for many years, since the 1980's, this has been a very uncharacteristic experience. If this were my first Discount Tire experience I would take my business elsewhere. I left over an hour later with a fixed tire however not an experience that was pleasant. Discount you better step up your service because if when I need tires I am treated the same way I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
