Very professional staff. I arrived at a pretty busy time but they made a point of telling those in line that they will be cared for soon. I had a tire with a slow leak and this is apparently something that they will fix as a courtesy - no charge and I did not purchase my tires from them. Even though it was quite busy that day I was texted about 2 hours later to tell me the car was ready for pick up. Each staff member I watched acted in a friendly, professional manner. I discovered a screw in the tread of my tire on my 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid. Discount Tire removed the screw and fixed the tire FREE! The tires were the ones that came from the manufacturer. Who does that these days? Pleasant to work with. I would definitely return there for service. read more

I had called the store on E. Washington Ave. to schedule getting my tires rotated on my truck and travel trailer and was told I did not need an appointment. While in the area I decided to stop by and get the tires rotated on my truck. When I got to the counter the tech told me it would be a 2 hour and 45-minute wait. I did not want to wait that long, so I scheduled an appointment for the following Monday for the truck and trailer. When I got there on Monday, I let Jacob know that I had an appointment. I asked if I could check-in both the truck and trailer and he said no that I would have to check the trailer in once the truck was done. I let him know that I was towing and wanted the tires at a specific pressure. Normally when checking in, the tech will go out and check the tire depth and get the vehicle milage. Jacob did not do this and came off being very rude like I was a bother to him. When the truck was done, I got the receipt from the technician, and it had some made up milage on it, I asked what psi he set for the tires and he didn't set the pressure to what I asked because Jacob did not note the work order like I had asked. So now I check the trailer in and again Jacob was very rude to me. I had asked that the tires be aired to 80 psi and that the lug nuts be torqued to 100 lbs. like the manufacture's manual suggests. He snapped back and said it would depend on the size of the lug nut as to what the torque spec would be. Needless to say, i was not happy with the way i was treated! I have been buying tires at Discount Tire for 32 years and have never been treated with such disrespect. read more

Discount Tire is amazing! I always have been a Costco tire person, but after two flats in 1 week, both repaired by Discount Tire, I have a new favorite tire place. My first flat was fixed at the west side garage and my second at the east side location. Both times they fixed both my flats for FREE and had me in and out in 1 hour!!! Who does that? Amazing!!! I always have in the past and always will do my TIRE business with Discount Tire. I'll tell you some of my ressons why below! Stopped into for the 1st time this newer East Side of Madison, WI location on Tuesday March 1st, 2022. I just so happened to be out running some errands when I noticed I had a weird shake and vibration noise at highways speeds on a new to me used low mile Cadillac Eldorado I literally had just purchased from a one owner out of Florida. The car was just shipped to me days prior! This beautifil clean car was garage kept and had sat for many years. Looking at the tires tread life and appearance they looked like brand new. So I thought maybe they just needed to be rebalanced or something. I called and spoke to Niko over the phone and immediately he said bring the vehicle over so their team could take a look for me right away. Little did I know until arriving at Discount Tire meeting Niko and his amazing staff. These tires looked the part, but were completely worn out, they were 15+ years old going off the tire date, they were dry rotted, had flat spots, and were just unsafe for travel. Especially putting my wife and children in the car at the speeds I drive. The tires were so old legally Discount Tire couldn't even work on them. So he gave me some advice and knowledge on what he reccomended being in the business. Never once trying to sell me anything at this point. After our conversation about the safety I made a decision to just see what options for new tires they had available. So we looked up a few different options on what made sense finacially for me. I wanted to keep the car original so I had to go with the big white walled Vogues that Cadillac are all known for. They were not in stock, but he said to give him a few days to get them in and he would personally call me right away to schedule an appointment to put them on the vehicle. Next morning at 9am I get a call from Niko saying we got your tires over nighted delivered so whenever I could swing in his team would get me taken care of. I showed up at 11am and by noon was out the door. Long story short my car runs and drives smooth like a dream, the way it should and safely. I really wanted to leave this review because of the amazing overall experience I recieved. They didnt know me or who I was. The entire team treated me as if we were old high school pals. They were fast, honest, knowledgeable, professional from start to finish, caring, informative and just genuine. They all just seemed happy to do their job. Well trained and run staff in my opinion. You could literally see they took pride in the quality of work they do for this company. Which is keeping their customers happy and safe while traveling on our roadways. Hats off to Niko, Hunter and the entire staff working. Prices are always fair... You get the piece of mind knowing you have a lifetime warranty on your tires. This location will do its best to get you in and out as fast as possible. Being in business myself I would be proud to have any of these employees work for me! We've been using Discount Tire for our tires and wheels for about 10 years now, and we couldn't be happier with their products, locations, store atmosphere, customer service, ease of finding the right tires, ease of booking appointments, and prices. We first started using them to buy new tires when they had 1 location on the west side of Madison, and the drive was a bit inconvenient for us as it was a 25 minute drive from home, but since then they've added 2 other locations, making it much more convenient for us and anyone in the area. After that first visit for new tires, we've used them for fall and spring summer/winter swap outs, buying new wheels, and buying new tires, and we've never had a less than perfect experience. Their website is so easy to use to compare the various options out there and easy to book appointments with. And when I've had questions I've called the store and they employees were quick to help out. Although all of the employees we've dealt with over the years have been wonderful, I have to mention Jake at Discount Tire on East Washington as his customer service has been above and beyond. Although a couple employees have recommend getting new wiper blades, they've never been pushy about it (I replace my own, but it's something they check and offer). I highly recommend any of the Madison area Discount Tire locations, and I can't see us ever going anywhere else. read more

I initially went to a different tire place right down the road, and they were rather condescending and couldn't help me, but suggested I go to Discount Tire instead and thank god I did! I popped a tire with no spare, and couldn't pay for both a tow and new tires, so they hooked me up with a tire I could go put on myself and replaced the rest of my tires, disposed of the bad ones, changed my windshield wipers, and sent me on my way all within 2 hours, and for a more than fair price. Often times I feel car related places talk down to young people, especially young females, but I was treated and spoken to with respect, start to finish. Great customer service. read more

I had just gotten my tire replaced 2 days prior to my road trip to Texas . Not even 20 miles into my drive I got a flat tire, and a cracked rim . My rim has never had issues up until the default tire I was given by discount tires on E Washington. I then took my vehicle back to discount tire, where they replaced my tire , but gave no help with my cracked rim . They didn't even call around near by locations to help find a replacement rim after they had just caused damage to my wheel . I had to pull in to their next to door Midas auto shop , where they made plenty of phone calls and helped me order a new rim for the following day !
