Thankfully the vehicle is still in warranty phase so I took it back to Kayser in Sauk where they determined that no codes were stored and they performed a tire sensor relearn where all the sensors learn and are now showing the tire pressures again on the screen. I realize if there was no warranty, Christian Brothers may have changed out 2 perfectly fine sensors. Hhhmmm...

Then nothing until I get an emailed invoice that was not clear to me. I called to ask questions and even offered feedback about the info in the invoice. Was told that in his 15 years of running a shop, no one had every said they weren't clear. Well, ok then. I ok'd the work. Then I get a call the next day that in the process of replacing the fuel sensor, he cracked the fuel line. This was Friday afternoon around 2pm. They would quote it for me on Monday. I asked why it couldn't be quoted that day since it had already been there all week. They had previous plans. Ok. Monday comes, they quote was over $1000 for the fuel line and labor. My family are all mechanics but they live in Montana, a little too far to drive. Things happen when working on cars. BUT....they all said they would not charge labor and give the part to the customer at cost. If that didn't make them happy, they would not charge. I wasn't expecting it to be fixed for free but I also was not at fault that the fuel line was damaged. I told him I would just come get it. He asked if I realized it didn't run...smh. I had my car towed back home and had it fixed somewhere else for half that price. I decided to give a new shop a chance and keep it local. My mistake.

**** ZERO stars **** Avoid Waunakee Super-Lube! Last week,…read moreI went in there for an oil change. They started the oil change and then told me they couldn't complete it because my mechanic had blocked the oil filter and they needed a special tool that they didn't have. Turns out that they rotated a radiator hose clamp into the oil filter housing. Yesterday, I took my car into my regular mechanic for the oil change. Over the course of the past week, the direct contact with the oil filter housing and car vibrations damaged the hose and antifreeze was leaking. Thankfully, my mechanic caught it. I went back to Waunakee Super-Lube and asked how this could happen. The manager smirked and laughed, and said they didn't do anything - it was my mechanic's fault. Bulls*%#!! Their incompetence and dishonesty has now cost me over $600. Steer clear of Waunakee Super-Lube!! In response to the owner's reply: The facts remain that I had a radiator hose leak, which resulted in total repair bill of $650. The other facts: 1) The last time I had any work done on my car was with the mechanic in March 2025, which was the last oil change. 2) I came into Waunakee Super-Lube for this latest oil change. 3) A week later, I took it into my mechanic for the oil change and he saw the radiator hose was against the oil filter housing, and was leaking anti-freeze. I was half down in fluid which he topped off. 4) I came back today to have it fixed - when I pulled off the highway to get to the shop, there was white steam coming out from under my hood. So if you didn't have this special tool, how did the radiator hose get pushed against the oil filter housing? A hook tool might have been used to do the work of this tool, which didn't work hence the claim of needing a special tool. If my mechanic caused this, it would have been months ago and I would have had problems long before this past week. I attached photos that I took last week. Have a real nice day too, and bless your heart.

Kristen K - Not a fair 2-star review…read more Dave and his technicians repaired my 2010 GMC Acadia. The dealer looked at it at least 3 times for a clunking noise in the front end. They claimed that the swaybar link was loose, tightened it, and sent me on my way, only to return again and again. Took it to D-Car, and the team diagnosed and repaired the real issue. The sway bar bushings were completely shot. A second repair to a leaky AC unit... also fixed well. The price was very reasonable and the repair was done right. If you're afraid to pay for reasonable, quality repairs, don't bring the car here as that is what you will get. Yup, sometimes the tire repair may take a little longer and $14 more, and that somehow gives D-Car 2 stars ? Wow. Keep up the great work, guys. Sometimes, people are just absurd with their expectations. I'm super happy and will for sure take my cars to D-Car
