Clean, professional, and no-nonsense. I picked out the tires I wanted online and Discount beat their price. They had to order the tires, but it was no problem. The crew worked hard and efficiently to install the tires on my truck, and I was in and out in 20 minutes (might have just timed it right--Wednesday morning at 10:30). No pushing stuff I didn't want. No pressure (except air). I love being able to come back for rotation whenever I want. Great job! read more

I cannot express my gratitude enough for this place. My car was sliding around one morning and I thought I simply needed new tires. Well, a few days later my tire pressure light when on so I went to go fill them and found my front driver wheel torn and frayed with metal exposed. Discount Tire was less than a mile up the road and happy to assist me in my panic. The gentleman that assisted me was very kind and got me the best deal. Thankfully they had my specific kind of tire and were able to service the vehicle same-day. They may have very well saved my life and the lives of others. Great service! read more

Wow, what a shockingly great experience! They close at 6PM & I arrived a few minutes after and was so disappointed that I'd not made it in time as I was needing to take an immediate road trip to get to my father who is in the hospital. Mathew immediately calmed my frayed nerves, gave me water, sat me down & before I knew it my tire was perfect in a matter of minutes. Every technician there had an extremely professional & calming demeanors. They were playing soul encouraging music in the lobby which I loved. I've been to many Discount Tires but this one is by far THE BEST!! Lifesavers!! read more

Jake, one of the younger employees it appeared, was able to address an issue that arose from the installation at another location and rectify the situation. He did so with a good attitude and the ownership of the problem that showed his character as a leader. This location has a superstar with young man and/or excellent leadership that has fostered his growth as a customer sales representative. read more

Great service. Pleased with the Attention to customer service! Car service can be such a pain, especially when having to take time time off from work to get new tires. Made an appointment via the website for the replacement of 4 tires. The staff at the Grapevine location was great about contacting me to confirm and then again to let me know the tires were available for my appointment. The process was timely and was able to get back to my work desk. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!! 2 hours and 41 mins to get 4 tires put on and the salesman Neil and mnnager Kolby could only say, "We'll make it right by getting your tires put on". How is that making it right? How does that make up for 2 hours and 41 mins? Turns out that when I told my wife about it, she told me the last time that she was there, they were rude to her and that had she known that's where I was going, she'd have reminded me and sent me to NTB instead. Discount Tire has lost a family of customers but I'm sure they don't care. We'll be sure to tell everyone we know not to ever go to another Discount Tire. read more

I had a nail in my tire and went to this location to have it fixed. The service couldn't of been better, the wait was a little long but the updated communication on the progress was brilliant as I didn't have an appointment. Daniel Johnston was the person I dealt with, he was completely on top of things, professional and I will be back to replace my two front tires and rotate them. Thank you so much for the great experience. read more

Had my car there to replace the tires after the replacement car came back with the airbag light on, when I asked them what happened the manager was rude and said nothing they did could cause that and pointed me to a 3rd party company that handle these kind of situations. After over a month the company called me to say my claim was denied!! Long story short I had to take my car to the dealership and fix it. Never going to use discount tire again. read more

My first time here at Discount Tire, and I've recently moved to TX. Was greeted by a friendly employee named Jeremy at the counter. I had a busted stem on my trailer tire. Jeremy gave the tire to another friendly employee, Chris. Chris had the tire done in a matter of minutes and he also wheeled the tire out to my car. All on the house. Fantastic service and friendly employees. Thanks for the help today, I will be back to purchase my next set of tires. read more

Long Story: I went to this location and told them I had a nail in my tire. I was told it would take 1 hour. I was listening as they were checking people in and some had appointments, and some didn't. After an hour the people that didn't have an appointment that got there after me were now going in before me. After two hours, I finally said something to the person at the desk, and they tell me that those people had appointments. I hate when someone talks to me like I don't know what's going on. I know for a fact they didn't have an appointment, but he tells me now that I'm next. They bring the car back and said they couldn't find a leak. I tell the guy that I can see that the tire is still low. He didn't even listen to me because he was so frustrated that I said the tire was still low and he was having to explain why it looked low. He tells me that a tire isn't round when it's on the ground, then tells me that the tire looks like that because the engine is heavier, and the tires are going to look lower. OMG!! He's talking to me like I have no idea about how it works. I just waited for him to finish his rant. I tell him again, if you would look at the tire you can see that it's low. I asked if he checked the tire pressure. He says I have, but I will go get a tire gauge and manually show you, so you believe me that it's fine. I really am trying to be kind, but I knew what was going to happen when he checked the pressure. He checks the three other tires first and then the one that I said was low. When he checked the tire, it barely showed any pressure. He paused for what seemed like a 1 minute, now he doesn't seem to have all the words, and just says he will pull it back in. Now the manager goes out and looks at it and checks the tire himself. He finds the nail and then comes back to me and tries to complain how it happened that they couldn't find it the first time. If at any time they checked the tire pressure they would have seen that there wasn't much pressure. When you put soap and water on it, it's not going to bubble because there was not enough air in it to bubble! I've been there 2 hours and 45 minutes and they bring my car back and the guy starts programing my car to except the pressure that's in the tire. I told him I would do it myself because I don't believe the pressure is still correct. He tells me that many people don't know how to program it and kept insisting he would do it. I told him that I would do it myself when I can confirm that the pressure is correct. When I got home, the pressure was not correct. read more

The guys that manage this store do so from a mindset that defies stereotypes. I have had multiple interactions with the crew here and never experienced anything less than spectacular service. Today, they smashed that level of service. My wife, Stephanie, and I have fought tire issues on her C300 for about three years. Always one tire or rim acting up... I mean ALWAYS. We were at one DT or another about every 3-4 months, generally because her car runs low P, soft treads. This time it was too much. Every wheel or tire has some sort of slow leak, patch, cut or nail. This time, the MGR said (cringe) "Let's make this right". Three new badass tires to match the new one from last week in Waco. Warranties, trade-ins and general goodwill, and she rolled out for a song! I wont share the total, but she has four new Pirellis with warranties for what I pay for one truck tire! Thank you GV Discount Tire!!! read more

Stopped in due to a vibration at interstate speed after purchasing a tire at a different location a few weeks earlier. They rebalanced and rotated all the tires/wheels and fixed the problem. Honored their warrant and were pleasant to deal with. read more

This place is the best. I came in about 9:00 am in the morning with a flat tire and they were able to fix it in about an hour despite being busy. Instead of taking advantage and making me buy a new tire, they were able to fix it for free as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

We asked to get our tires balanced and rotated and came back after a couple of hours. It was raining pretty hard so my pregnant wife dropped me off to pick up her vehicle however they only rotated her tires. I asked why they didn't balance them and he said it was my fault, that I have to specifically ask them to do it. I said when I ask "to get my tires balanced and rotated," shouldn't that be enough?? They said they can get her car back in but they need time, at least an hour or more. I said I'll come back and do it later, I walk out the building(they never pulled my wife's car up) and they parked her car all the way in the back of the building. I wish I could post the picture bc literally it's the only vehicle on the back end of the lot all by itself. I'm glad I went instead my wife to have her walk in the rain. The service was horrible, I don't know why I keep coming back to this location but only bc it's really close to my house. I always have better service at the Grapevine Mills location. I will gladly purchase my new Terra Grapplers from them instead of the 114 location, these guys will never see another dollar from me again, oh and this isn't the first bad experience. It's never fun when you show up to get your tires balanced and rotated(previous time) and they turn you away bc they said they can't get to me today. Yet there were 3 guys standing around in the bays, the guy who told me couldn't even look me straight in the face when he said it. It's funny when I told him I was thinking about purchasing new tires he immediately said he could take care of me. No thanks, I ended up purchasing them on my way to Austin at Georgetown, Tx location. Don't go here, the Gvine Mills location has and always will be a better experience. read more

Discount Tire - Ford Edge lo the way in the back, there were plenty of spots in the front. - Tires Near Me - Grapevine, Texas

The service desk and service tech were great! I'm giving you three stars because Omar said he changed my tire when actually someone else did. But he jerked the $20. From my hand, stuck in his pocket and walked me out to my car. The guy that actually changed my tire was still under my car putting the spare back on. I asked if he was the one who repaired my tire. He replied yes mam. I told him that Omar took his tip so I gave him another $20. I called Omar a jerk. After I backed my car out of the stall, Omar offered the $20 back. I figured he must need it really bad and told him to keep it. Let Karma take care of him. read more

We had an appointment here. My husband drove our car there to have our rear tires checked- due to slow leak. The salesman told my husband without speaking to him that we needed 4 new tires. I had a 8:15 a.m. appointment, but as soon as I arrived at 8:05 a.m., there was already a line from the counter to the front entrance with at least 8 people in line. This place is quite popular. They were able to get to me near the appointment time. Since I knew I needed tire replacements, it was a quick walk around my car. I had 1 tire which was retained good tread, so when it came time to ring up the bill, he was able to reduce cost because I will keep this tire, and it reduces their disposal cost. Although he did up sell me, the tires he should be were better than the ones initially recommended and should give me a longer tire life by 20,000 miles, so I thought the additional $90 in expense was worth it. He stated that my car will be available in 1 hour since I had an appointment. The tire replacement did take approximately 1 hour. I had asked them to place my good tire in my trunk, and they said they would. When I returned home, I discovered my trunk to be empty. When I called back, they admitted to this mistake, and asked me to return to pick up the tire. That was the only inconvenient aspect of this entire experience, but other than that, they did a good job, so I would come back to this place again. read more

I went out to my 4Runner today to find out that I had a flat tire. I was able to put enough air into it to get to discount tire store. I called to ask if they were too busy and Matt said to come on by and he should get me out quickly. Everyone I came in contact with at this location including Matt, David, and Bryan were all very friendly? professional and helpful. I did not have an appointment but they got me in and out quickly and took care of my 4Runner, and even suggested /offered to rotate and balance my tires as it seemed time to do so (I had purchased my tires a few months back). The store was clean and and it was all-around a great experience. I would recommend this Discount Tire store to anyone! read more

They actually beat Jimmy Johns installing my tires today !! :) At 11:00 this morning I finally called Discount and told them about the really bad vibration I have had the past few weeks on my '06 Kia. Bryan answered and said they weren't very busy, so if I could come now... I was there 15 minutes later, mentioned that the vibration happened after I got rear-ended, Bryan told me immediately it was likely "flat spots" on my tires caused by my heavy breaking that day. So...I said fine, sat back and ordered a Jimmy Johns to have delivered 'cause I figured I'd be there a while. 15 minutes later, BOOM! Isaac rolls my Kia around Discount Tire 1, Jimmy John's 0! Thanks guys, the new tires did indeed resolve the vibration thanks for the awesome service! p.s. - had to wait 10 more minutes for my sandwich, but JJ's was still there in less than 30 :) read more

Buying tires is usually something you HAVE to do - not an impulse purchase for most of us. So customers really look for a good product at a good price, along with good service and a good experience. I recently had to replace all 4 tires on my car and had the work done at Discount Tire at the Grapevine location (SH 114). Like many experiences, it was a combination of pros and cons: GOOD Discount had the tires I needed in stock (NTB did not, even though their web site said they did); Discount's price was a little lower than NTB; and, You can check inventory and make appointments online. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT Not open on Sundays; Very busy (maybe it's because they are closed on Sundays?); Installation took longer that the quoted 30-45 minutes - actual time was closer to 90 minutes; The tech threw away steel valve caps that I specifically asked to be put on the new tires; There's not much of a waiting area - just chairs in the showroom; and, There's non-stop contemporary Christian background music (nothing wrong with this per se, but seems out of place in a business environment). Not that it makes a difference (and I never really thought about it before), but Discount sure acts like a very religious organization (no Sunday hours and Christian background music). Far be it from me to criticize anyone's faith, but having no Sunday hours makes it really hard for customers that may have a tire emergency on the weekend. It may also be why the rest of the appointment schedule is so busy. SUMMARY Discount competes on price but could improve on customer amenities such as improving the waiting area, extending hours to Sunday, and doing a better job of actually following customer requests. read more

This guys are great, very friendly, helpful and they really do try to save you money. They look and match competitor prices. Their shop is pretty clean and they play good music. I had bought 3 used tires at a place in euless and they were dry rotted so we decided to go to discount tire to get new tires instead and told them to save those 3 tires and dispose of the one that belong to me so i could get a refund for those 3 used tires, but they mistakenly disposed of one of the used ones so when I took them to the other place for a refund they noticed it wasn't theirs so they wouldn't refund me, I went into discount tire so they would dispose of that tire, and they not only sincerely apologized but they also gave me a refund for the amount I paid for that used tire and they disposed of mine for free! read more
