Got our suburban wheel fixed after hitting a curb and popping the tire. The rim was also damaged. ARS took great care of us, the rim and tire we got replaced looked amazing! The customer service was friendly and professional and very punctual. Will definitely be going back and referring them!

Took my wheel to get repaired had a minor bend on the back side of the wheel they did a great job fixing the bend the only issue/complaint I have is the face of my wheel was scratched to hell very disappointing now I have to spend even more money to paint and fix there mistakes when this could've been avoided.

Excellent service, 24 hr turnaround. Very knowledgeable staff and they service high end to regular vehicles. Would highly recommend this company over others in the area I have had previous experience with .

Took my 09 cts v in because I thought I had a bent rim. When I pick up the car no mention of anything so seems good. A couple weeks later I went to get to get new tires and have them balanced because my car has been shaky. The discount tire guy tells me the wheel has been welded and can't be balanced. turns out it was cracked and they decided to just weld it and not tell me. so now I'm out a couple hundred for repair and way more for an aluminum wheel on top of that. Not to mention a couple days after pick up my front wheel was loose so had to tighten the lugs on it. Not going to trust this place again.

They're expensive, but do a very good job since the entire wheel is coated. I changed all four tires and fixed curb rash on two wheels, so it's up to you whether or not you want to change the color on all four of your wheels because they strip and powder (stronger than paint) the entire wheel. $150/wheel, mount & balance $70 for all four, remove and install $15 each, tire disposal $5 each. There's room for improvement, because there was a blemish, which they fixed for free. So look over your wheels afterwards. Would I come back? Yes, but I'd change the color of all four next time. If you're only fixing one wheel, just fix both wheels on the same side Bc the paint will be a bit brighter than oem. Going around the two wheels with my finger, they filled it in, to make it smooth all around. They also took care not to crack my carbon fiber caps

Long story short, my wife hit a pot hole that was bad enough to bend the inner part of the wheel inwards. Took it to ARS on a Monday, had the wheel back to me Tuesday. Fast, reliable, no bullshit. Oh and they even painted the inside of the wheel to prevent corrosion. I never asked or knew they would do that. Super awesome! And the whole thing cost $150 flat. No smoke or mirrors. NOTE: if you are able to remove the affected wheel and just bring it in without leaving your car, you'll get the wheel back next day! They do require appointments if you leave the whole car.

To start this review off I want to say that the people I dealt with and talked to at ARS Wheel Repair were great no problems there. And they did a good job of repairing some bends and curb rash. Now granted I haven't been able to spin the wheel on a stand to see if my inner bead edge wobble was repaired, so there's that. Where I have an Issue was that after I gave specific powder coating color and clear coat numbers from the manufacturer they told me to reference, my first end result was nothing like the numerous pictures the manufacture's site portrayed using those numbers, trying to achieve a dull almost lightly frosted matte clear coat, type finish. Plus the rims were very dusty/dirty and that was how they were willing to hand them to me after a newly completed powder coating job. That was the first bad taste. Which I made a comment about. After talking with the team at ARS (which they were willing to make it right) they took another run at it. The 2nd end result was pretty much spot on to what I was expecting and in my rush to pick them up and initial overview of the rims I failed to fully clue in on and mention what I'm about to explain. Which was the over all result was not as good as I expected. For one, I expected the whole rim to be powder coated (which I've seen done every time I see rims powder coated) and mine were not, only the face and inner barrel of the rim. The main outer barrel (inside of the tire) was not and still had left over remains of the previous coating/paint. I also found scuffs and impressions on the inside edge of the rim like they put the rim down on the floor while things were not fully set? Just bummed out after having time to take a much closer look. I could have said something but at this rate I would rather share my experience and move on from them. I understand many have had a great experience with them but I clearly was the one that fell through the cracks, if-you-will.

Really happy with the work ARS did - if you are considering powder coating please give ARS a chance. Pictures should speak for themselves :) Thanks ARS

They did a fantastic job refinishing the wheels for my BMW Z3 M Roadster. I would highly recommend them.

I had wheel repair and reconditioning done with ARS for my Lamborghini Gallardo and BMW 750. The work has been top notch. The customer service is awesome. The process and pricing is very simple and straight forward. This is my go to shop. Mark is always great to work with.

This was my 2nd time using the services of ARS Wheels to powder coat and once again Angelika, Mark and the team were OUTSTANDING. I dropped off my new Jaguar F-Pace at 5pm. At 8am the next day Mark was calling to let me know my car was ready. As you can see the car looks amazing with black rims. Jaguar wanted to charge me over $2,000 for powder coating. When I dropped by to resolve a separate issue, the Jaguar sales team saw the rims and even they were impressed with the vehicles new look and the quality of the work. As I stated in a prior review the only place I will have rim work done is ARS. The price is fair and the service is top notch. No one compares! I highly recommended ARS WHEELS. You will be satisfied with the work and the personalized & knowledgeable service. Thank You ARS!!

Back in 2023, I had a tire on my car which I thought was not properly holding air. To investigate,…read moreI went to a Discount Tire to get it inspected. They dunked it in water and found an issue with the inner rim of the wheel--some type of corrosion or wear. Since Discount Tire only sells rims, and they don't repair or offer to do so, I asked around at different shops about rim repairs. Most of them indicated that they worked with a mysterious third party wheel repair specialist in Dallas. It turns out that third party is Wheel Technologies. There happened to be a location in Austin; I first tried going there. It was a satellite office and the expectation was to bring in the wheel itself, but mine was still attached to my car. So I made the trek to Dallas to get the wheel fixed up. Arriving, you'll notice the place is located in a fairly industrial area--plenty of large rigs waiting around in the surrounding area for deliveries. There is some parking round the building, which appears to be renovated. Entering, I made my way to their main office area over wooden floors that creek when you step on them. There were around 6 large desks with folks working, and CCTV monitors showing the work area. I talked with someone who gave me a ticket and some paper work. They went over the quote and stipulated that they can only repair a wheel once, then they got to work. The total was extremely reasonable compared to obtaining a replacement rim. While there, I decided to do work in the conference room area near the entrance. It was quiet and had cushy office chairs. There was a distinct lack of Wi-Fi. Upon completion, I was able to checkout and could see where they made the repair. It's been more than a year and the repair seems to have held up quite well. Conclusion: If you have issues with rims, Wheel Technologies certainly has the expertise and equipment for repair. They clearly stipulate what they can and cannot repair, and they are straight forward in terms of cost. Many auto shops send repair work to them.

Before you go do your homework , you need to know their business for some reason they don't explain anything unless you push. They work mainly with dealership and tire distributors. Also, money talks so they are reluctant to have anyone waste their time. Just for reference I spoke to 4 different people and all of them had the same personality, cold as a fish. I got a quote when I called it and it was wrong compared to my invoice. It was in my favor so I let it be, just a warning to everyone. They didn't even call me to tell me my car was ready! I had a long drive and told the guy to please call me when ready I had 4 wheels repaired and powered coated, the outcome was average. They did exactly what they said were told to do. Absolutely terrible experience!…read more After continuing to experience low air pressure on my front left tire, I had taken my vehicle to Discount Tire on March 17th and was told the rim was bent on the inside. Discount Tire removed my two front rims and installed my factory rims because I wanted the two front rims to match each other while that chrome rim were being repaired. On March 18th, 2026 my friend took my rim to LoneStar Wheel Repair and the repairs were completed, we paid $154.50 and picked up the rim up on March 20th. On March 20th 2026, Discount Tire removed the factory rims, replaced the chrome rims, put the repaired rims on the opposite side. On March 21st 2026 when I got in my car the air was back down to 19, so I called LoneStar Wheel Repair, but they close at noon on Saturdays. So, I went back to Discount Tire they checked the tires/rim and it was determined it wad still bent and needed to be repaired again. On Monday, March 23rd, 2026, I called LoneStar Wheel Repair and was told to bring it in. This time I drove over and when I got out of the car, the Owner, immediately guaranteed me that it was a different rim. Even before she liked at it. The, owner insisted they "mark" all repaired rims but refused to let me see these so called markings. Instead of even trying to understand what happened, she accused me of damaging another rim within less than 24 hours and blamed "the way I drive." Completely unprofessional! They refused to take responsibility and charged me another $154.50 to fix what was clearly the same rim. No accountability, no customer service, and very disrespectful treatment. I would not trust this business especially if you drive a nice vehicle and expect careful honest service. This experience made me feel dismissed, disrespected, and taken advantage of, please stay away

They sold us a used tire that was in NO condition to be on the road. I've purchased used tires before, and they've NEVER had holes or tears in them. Once the used tire was installed, my sister noticed the air pressure symbol light up on the dashboard. Before leaving, she asked them to take a second look at it. They told us it was fine and the light would turn off once we started driving. This was not the case. The tire they installed went flat within 8 hours, to no one's surprise. We called the next day and were told to bring the car back to the shop. The only problem? The car was NOT DRIVEABLE. The tire was so low that we risked damaging our car by even moving it. The manager, Junior, advised us to still drive on it. According to him, they've advised customers to drive on flats before, all the way from Denton to Dallas. Before trying to drive anywhere, we attempted to replace the tire with the spare, but the lugs were placed on too tight. Upon closer inspection, we saw multiple large holes and tears in the tire. According to their manager, Junior, it's standard to test tires before placing them on the car. It's clear this tire was not tested prior to being installed. On top of this, they ignored concerns about the tire pressure light being on after they installed the new tire, further endangering my sisters saftey. If they had taken the time to double check their work, it would have saved us the time and worry. We ended up having to stop at another mechanic on the way, since we were fearful we would not make it to the shop in one piece. The mechanics there were very friendly, changed our tire free of charge, and let us know we should not have been driving on it. When we finally made it to the shop, the employees realized they did not have any more used tires in our size. This begs the question- did R&S knowingly provide us a faulty tire, just to make a sale? The tire they sold us was the last one in that size. To top all of this off, I received the worst customer service of my life from Junior (manager) and the owner, Khalid. Junior was callous in his approach, did not have any empathy, and seemed unbothered at the severity of the situation. He rudely suggested we go to another mechanic down the street, despite fault clearly lying with R&S tires and wheels. We voiced our disappointment and intention to file a complaint with the BBB. When we finally reached a resolution of getting a new tire in the correct size, the owner, Khalid, sent us disparaging and unprofessional texts after we left the shop, further displaying R&S Tires' unprofessional business practices and horrible customer service. As you can read from other reviews on Google, R&S Tires does not uphold customer safety. Please save yourself the headache and pick ANY other mechanic shop in the area. You'll be thankful you did!
