Very reliable and pretty quick service. They have gotten more expensive though. I suggest getting a quote at Costco first and buying the tires at Discount. Remind them what Costco includes in the price. Road hazard, mounting, etc. They match Costco and saved me $250 on a set of tires. Costco is super slow at tires. I've been buying tires at Discount since they were at the old location in Everett. Maybe about 30 years now. Heavy guy at the counter who's been there for years likes to talk s about customers when they are out hearing range. He needs an attitude adjustment or career change. read more

I had 10:30 am appt to get my tire replaced, may 29th 2021. My wife gave me a ride to the facility to meet with the tow truck, upon entering the parking lot. An Employee with a beanie and glasses told my wife to "PAY ATTENTION" and proceeded to make a gesture toward her that was completely unprofessional and 100 percent uncalled for. It made my wife extremely upset and could have been avoided entirely if the employee simply thought about his actions before proceeding to act like a child with his rude behavior. I came in to purchase 4 new tires a few months ago, everything was fine until my car started shaking while I was driving. I brought my car back to Discount Tire and they tried balancing them but they wouldn't balance. They ended up ordering me 2 new tires, I set my appointment and came in at my scheduled time. When I arrived I sat here waiting for 1 hour then was called to the front desk, apparently they lost my two new tires so they said instead of making you come back we are going to give you 4 brand new Michelin tires and install them today. There staff upfront is great, and very professional. I hate walking into a business without an acknowledgment of me being there, a simple "help you in a minute" is all that is needed if busy. This Discount Tire has great communication and service. There techs are very fast, I don't believe I've waited longer than 30-45 mins for a complete set of new tires. Over the past few years I've bought 2 sets of tires through them with their Discount Tire credit card, and it really couldn't have been easier. Also the free coffee, magazines and the smell of new tires in the large waiting room is a nice break from the wife and kids without having to feel guilty about it :) Finally the reason why I went there to begin with is I made a stop at my local Les Schwab tire store to see if they could check the tire pressure on my car before a long road trip. Dismissively I was told there was a hose around back...no big deal but when I worked at a tire shop in high school that's defiantly not the way to treat a customer. Not one to write reviews but this one is definitely worth noting. Went in to get my tire repaired for a slow leak. "Gay" something (that was actually his name) proceeded to tell me after looking at my tires that the he couldn't repair it because "the chords were sticking out" and it was dangerous and they could explode. REALLY?? So, 1. He thought it better to send me back on the street with my "chords sticking out dangerous ready to explode tire" than to repair it?? 2. The chords were NOT sticking out. They were NOT bald and he was just being a dick who didn't want tor repair my tire for free. I drive an SUV Mercedes. Did he think he would get me to say oh, ok then, sell me 4 brand new tires?? The tire that needed to be repaired was in GOOD condition and NOWHERE NEAR BALD WITH CHORDS STICKING OUT. Very disappointed with their "service". Will never go there again. read more

What an amazing place!! I was so happy with the service Jason provided! Early on a Monday morning on my way to work, I ran over some rockery and impaled the side of my back tire. It was losing air fast going from 30 PSI - 22 PSI in a matter of 30 minutes. I got there right as they opened and even with a lineup of about 10 customers in front of me - they were super fast! I shared my story with Jason who immediately started to look for a replacement tire in stock. Unfortunately it is an odd size and nothing in Snohomish county. So he searched extensively and long story short- he found one and had a new tire put on by the afternoon! Thank you so so much for your help! Call and make a appointment. If they say it's a short wait, do not believe them and insist on an appointment time. Make sure they ask for your name to actually book the time. Even with the appointment expect to wait about an hour or more after you arrive. If you have a wheel lock key, make sure you ask for it back before you leave they often forget. There's a good chance they rushed your job and the wheel weights aren't bonded properly, so expect to go back and have a rebalance. When you leave go on the highway right away and try a few speeds to make sure your good. If not go right back. Basically, expect to take a day off work to have anything done. Your best bet, if buying tires, is to get a good price, then go elsewhere and price match. The prices may be okay, but the service isn't. Any place will easily price match. read more

We dropped off our family car yesterday for a quick fix of a flat tire. We were told it would take about 3 hours. Several hours later my husband got a call but wasn't able to answer it. Discount tire never left a message. My husband calls the number back a few minuets later to get ahold of an associate,that associate said they'd call back after checking on the status of the fix. We never got a call back that day and although we tried calling a few times before 5pm no one picked up the phone. So now a day later our family is car less and need to cancel our New Years plans as we have no way to get around with the entire family and making multiple trips would be a waste of time. We had an awful emergency the morning of our out of state move and they really came through for us. We destroyed the rear two tires of my husbands car trying to tow it the morning of our move. The car had already been towed elsewhere but we needed to replace the wheel rims, which the other location didn't offer. My husband and I called around looking for a place willing to sell us just the rims and that had his size rims immediately available. One I've been using them for over 30 years in various locations and always had good service, and two because I went th the north marysville store and couldn't get ANY service. When I walked in the door in Everett, I was greeted by a rep, and he quickly examined my tires and agreed with my conclusion and thought they didn't have the tires I was planning to buy, he found other tires that were from a reputable mfg, and had the same mileage rating and warranty and were even cheaper. He estimated an hour to an hour and a half. I drove away an hour and 10 minutes later with new tires. These people understand customer service. read more

I've bought tires a couple times at Discount and noticed their prices and selection are good, better than my previous C***** option. Recently went in for a flat repair thinking I probably needed tires replaced as well. They checked the tread and tire age and recommended holding off on replacement, fixing the flat for free. I guess I appreciated them well enough at that point. But today they replaced a broken tire pressure sensor, charging only for the discounted price of the sensor. They went above and beyond what I expected when I needed tires for my 1966 Volkswagen Beetle. They have a customer for life.

I tore a sidewall on my tire and unfortunately had to replace all 4 tires due to my car being an all wheel drive. The sales rep was nice enough to price match the better tires they had in stock to a lower quality tire they would have had to order. They told me the wait would be three hours. I got there at 1:30pm. I waited in the lobby in hopes that maybe it would take less time because I was the only one there waiting that long. 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 4:30pm.. my car hadn't even been pulled in the bay and I had see multiple cars come and go. I am not naive to know some people may have dropped their car off before me or had different issues they needed fixed but still.. i was obviously sitting and waiting and it had been HOURS. My car finally got pulled into the bay at 4:40 and I was out at 5:10pm & $985 poorer. Pretty disappointed in the entire transaction especially after reading all of the reviews saying it was a quick and easy process to get there cars fixed. I did buy the "certificates" so I am sure I will be a continued customer. Another thing is that I have read people had service appointments but I was told they're don't do appointments... I also ran into a friend who got there at the same time as I did and was in and out with new tires an hour and half later. All in all just a little turned off.. read more

I needed tires I've always been a Les Schwab customer but decided to get some quotes so glad I did. I ended up going with Discount Tire and it was a great experience, no hidden fees no add-ons. I was in and out so quickly it was overall a great experience to top it off a few weeks after I had my tires installed I had a pressure gauge go off in my car. I went to one of their other locations and they took care of me right away in and out in 5 minutes. The last time I took my daughter's car in to get checked at Les Schwab it was a three-hour wait. I took 2 wheels up there to have the tires removed. I was invoiced over $60 to simply remove 2 tires! gave some BS excuse as to why he was charging so much. I didnt feel like telling him that I was in the wheel/tire biz as well and thought he was full of crap! I could only fit 2 in my car, needless to say I didnt take the others. I went to another large tire store in the area and was charged $3.80 to remove ONE tire from a wheel. I told them what Discount charged and he apologized and laughed at their business practices. My company actually does business with Discount but I've started to source parts/services with another distributor now. I wish I could post the 2 invoices for people to see. I am truly disgusted!!
