I needed tires I've always been a Les Schwab customer but decided to get some quotes so glad I did. I ended up going with Discount Tire and it was a great experience, no hidden fees no add-ons. I was in and out so quickly it was overall a great experience to top it off a few weeks after I had my tires installed I had a pressure gauge go off in my car. I went to one of their other locations and they took care of me right away in and out in 5 minutes. The last time I took my daughter's car in to get checked at Les Schwab it was a three-hour wait. They gave me a real good price on 2 sets of tires that I bought at the store. Plus, I ordered 4 tires from discounttiredirect.com shipped free to my house by UPS that they mounted, balanced & installed for $15 per tire. It was cheaper than the store online. They told me that they would have matched the price. Well maybe next time. Fast service! I've received better service from other local tire retailers; Les S. Seems Discount is really all you get along with poor communication and poor service. I won't be returning to this location to save a few dollars especially when they damaged the rims and left the rims covered in grease. I'd rather pay for quality, service, and communication. read more

I needed new tires and have had good experiences with Discount Tire before, not this time or at least this location. I did not receive a call that my tires were finished so just headed up there after work. My car was done and sitting in the parking lot. While checking out, I asked why the price was significantly higher than what I was quoted and found that they automatically charged me an additional $85 for "Certificates" for each tire that would guarantee replacement, even though the tires had a life of tire warranty. I had them take these charges off. I then went out and walked around my car and the tire that was originally flat, looked really low and my low tire light was on. I asked them to look at it and the young man told me I needed to just drive it for a while for the light to go off. I told them it looked low and and asked to just check it. They finally agreed to bring it in and check the air. It was so low, almost flat again. They found my valve stem was not working and offered to replace it. After spending over $700 on tires, I did not offer to pay any extra and they didn't charge me (thus 1 star). I was very unhappy with the service I received here and will not go back or recommend for others. The tires themselves, very nice and drives great. read more

I wish I could rate zero stars. Worst services I could imagine possible. I get a "no more than two hours" to rotate your tires. I came back 2 hours and 15 minutes later, just before they close (10mins to spare), and my car hasn't been touched. When I address this, they proceed to pull my car in then help someone else with tire pressure, which takes another 15 minutes. Then, the employee can't locate my wheel lock key! So I hand him the bag and tell him "in here where you placed it last." He couldn't locate it. When I check the special compartment in the bag made for the key, TADA, it's there! This guy is just failing all the way around. I should have gone to the Shoreline store where they know their head from their a$$! In total it was a 3 hour and 15 minute wait for 10 minutes of actual service on a random Wednesday afternoon. Ok so I stop by Les Schwab here in Snohomish, WA to have two of my trailer tires replaced and a tube replaced in one of my mower tires. I was quoted $498.07; so I drop off my three tires while I'm there. When I first heard the number I was shocked for I could of sworn that I paid just over $250.00 a few years ago for the two trailer tires to be replaced. I run home quickly to check my books and on 7-14-13 I was charged $268.84 for two trailer tires. I call up Discount Tires here in Everett and they quote me $280.47 so what do I do? I go back to Les Schwab and pickup my tires and drop them off at Discount Tire. In regards to my mower tube I pickup a tube at Lowes for $25.07 and Discount Tire replaced it without even charging me for it. I don't know if Les Schwab saw me rolling in with my Escalade thinking that they could pull one over on me or what but they have now have officially lost me as a customer and I will not be referring anyone to them for a $217.60 difference is HUGE! read more

I was in the store Saturday 12/22/2012 evening, because my sister-in-law had a low tire on her mini van's spare tire because she had a flat tire. I asked for some air and a re-torque. We pulled it in the first service bay to have the air and re-torque done and I asked the technician if I could have it torqued at 100 ft lbs. He argued with me telling me that it is supposed to be at 110 ft lbs. I told him that for that year of vehicle it get's 100 ft lbs. He continued to argue with me. He asked me what I did for a living and I told him I was the store manager for Pep Boys and he gave me a total attitude. If I had the choice to goto to my own store I would of, because I knew that I would of been treated right regardless if PepBoys knew I worked for them. I will never ever go back to Discount Tire even if I wasn't working for PepBoys. read more

Cody took extremely good care of us with our new ordered rims and tires. We brought in our rims to be mounted and balanced to the tires. They were expensive rims and he took his time and was very careful. He took the time to ask what we were doing to our new 4runner and was helpful with his advice. Waited until the week of expected snow to call for tires that I've needed for the last year. My bad. They were slammed and they had to be ordered anyway so I told them to give me a call when they came in. Must have gotten lost in the chaos since I didn't get a call. Called and left a message Monday night. Didn't hear from them so called Tuesday AM. They asked when I wanted to get in and I said the next morning. Sorry, no can do. Can put you on standby. I told them I'd ordered a week ago, expected a call and never got it so just cancel. He said to come in at the time requested and he'd take care of it. My wife said it went off without a hitch. Oh, and they didn't have the tires I'd ordered for $108EA so he gave me the $114's for the same price. read more

They didn't have the tires we wanted so they upgraded us for free - twice. They let us know what they were doing the whole time. Were super fast at getting us in and out. And one of the guys even met us at our car. I've always been a Les Schwab girl but seeing how friendly, fast and easy this was - they just got a new customer. read more

I think these guys, at this location, are probably the very best tire folks in the area. Talk about FAST!!! I had a flat tire, and had to get to a concert down in Tacoma in a matter of a few hours. I ordered some tires over the phone a couple days ago and they told me they would call when they were in but never did. I'm from out of town and I was close so I called them to ask if they were in and they said yes so I drove all the way there to find out the wrong size was ordered so my options were to buy wheels to fit the tires they ordered or wait. Everyone I talked to was awesome but the inconvenience from commuting from an island two days in a row sucks... Looks like I'll be back tomorrow to hopefully get new tires on my truck! I have been buying tires from Discount Tire for many years, in the last year I have put tires not only on my truck but also my son's truck and now my wife's Jeep is coming due for new tires. Last week my wife's jeep had gotten a slow leak in the front left tire and because this Discount Tire shop is just 10 minutes from my work I took her vehicle in to have them pull the staple out of the tire and patch it. Granted I didn't have an appointment but their wed page says walk-ins are welcome. When I got there I was told it would be a couple of hours before they could fit me in. Well being that I was already there I waited, and waited and waited some more. After two and a half hours and watching people roll in off the street getting service, I asked where my Jeep was in the line up. Three more vehicles before they could get to mine. Well I had enough, I got my keys back and went to Les Schwab in Snohomish. They fixed my tire in less than an hour and didn't charge me a thing even though my wife's tires were bought from Discount. Now that's what I call Service. read more

I had to get two new tires here and they got me in and out in a jiffy. I highly recommend discount tires over les shwab because here they will tell you a problem before they try and fix your car but at les shwab they won't even give you your car back they just keep it saying it's against their policy to give you your car back without spending thousands of dollars on a problem that (you or I) could have fixed but they charge up the a$$. But not with discount tires. 10/10 I'm only taking my car here! read more

What an amazing experience! I was greeted in the parking lot today with a cold bottle of water. I knew I needed tires soon, but scared of how much it would cost, the salesmen took the time with me to educate me about my tires and what the tread depths mean in regards to safety, to no surprise he did recommend tires for my car, but with safety at the forefront of his mind, we talked about kids, fishing, sports really made me feel important! We was able to find all sorts of rebates for me, and even shopped his competitors with me, discount tire had the lowest price. And I was able to finance everything with them with zero interest! My experience with this store was exactly opposite of the other reviews. I went online and researched what tires I wanted for my truck. I was only going to buy two at a time. I went into the Evergreen Way store on a monday with cash in hand. They told me that the tires were in stock. The sales guy then asked for my keys so he could inspect my truck. I thought that was odd, but I gave him my keys. He came back and told me that all my tires needed to replaced. I informed him that I knew that but I wanted to only buy two for now. It was at this point he tried to "up sell" me and said it was not safe that I should buy all four tires now. He then asked if I wanted financing. I kept repeating that I came in to buy two tires only and did not want to finance anything. Then another salesperon started to "tag team" with the other salesperson in front of the other waiting customers trying to get me to "up sale". I got so mad that I grabbed my keys and left. I went to the nearest Les Schwabs and bought my tires there. I paid much more, but It was worth it. I knew that their customer service would be excellent. read more

My son took our beater van into town and not surprisingly had a flat tire. He was able to get the toy spare on which didn't look much better and limp over to Discount Tire. It's where I usually go to get tires anyway. I wasn't too surprised when Jeremiah called me to say that both front tires were shot and he would have to replace both of them. This seems to be a regular procedure for all tire shops now (I'm sure the lawyers drove it making the tire people fearful of liability consequences). I had this happen 2 years ago when my F250 just luckily decided to have a flat about 2 blocks away from the same Discount. This tire had plenty of tread but was passed the DOT date (hardly drive it) so they said they couldn't repair it and would have to replace it - and, surprise, the other front one too. That was $500 I hadn't planned to spend but I knew it was a good idea and the truck was well worth it. But back to the van. I told Jeremiah the van was just shy of the crusher but he said he couldn't let it leave with the one so he'd put both on but only charge me for one. I asked how much for one and he said $178. Too high, I told him, I can get tire, M&B for more like $100. He said he'd do it for $134 and I told him he had a deal. I hadn't heard from them or my son so I decided to call Discount and make sure things went according to plan. Jeremiah said it was all taken care of. He said he did all 4 since they were all equally bad. I knew that but we hadn't talked about any more than the 2 front. I was a little shocked and asked him how much that was, expecting a problem. No problem - he put all 4 on for $134!!!!! And they were Goodyear! I AM IMPRESSED! read more

Hands down the best service I've ever had from any Tire shop ever. Went in recently to have some tires changed from my old Ford truck's rims to my Chevy van's rims (I was in a car accident in my main car about 4 months ago and it totaled my nice car, so I had to make due with an old Chevy Astro that's been sitting for almost 10 years and the tires were shot). Told the Tech I needed the tires dismounted off both sets and the newer ones remounted on the Chevy rims. He gave me an astoundingly low price, less than 1/3 everywhere else I called earlier that day (including Pep Boys) and didn't require that I have them balanced and the stems replaced (unless absolutely necessary of course). I got home after having them changed and inspected the job myself. Come to find out, they had Balanced AND replaced the stems on both tires and didn't charge me, something every single other shop told me they wanted 12 bucks or more per tire for. Now this is what service is supposed to be like. I have many more stories about how awesome these guys are but I will end with that as to keep it short.
