I have always used DT...due to excellent, timely service and repairs...throughout the greater Phx area. This location continued my positive experiences a few months ago leading to an excellent Yelp review by me. However my experience this week was not positive. My new BMW showed a warning that the air was low on 1 of my tires. I took it to DT to have it checked. They found a nail in the sidewall...leading to a purchase of a new tire. This visit occurred at 8am. I was told the new tire would arrive in their 2nd delivery of the day...about 3pm or so. My install would occur immediately. I was not called upon the delivery. I went to the facility about 3:45 to check on it. I was told it had arrived...and to have a seat because there were customers ahead of me...that they serve people in order of arrival. I repeated the promise earlier in the day...reminding that I was there at 8am...long before anybody that was now waiting for service. The manager was not happy that I questioned his service decision. I asked for the District Manager's phone #...to complain. Another manager advised him to meet his earlier promise and install my tire. He had my tire replaced immediately as I watched. Discount Tires' service model/promise is very valuable. I would have cancelled my $500 tire purchase/install if that promise was not met! There are other tire service centers! read more

Absolutely excellent service. I had bought tires and made an appointment online. I received a call that morning confirming my appt and assuring me everything was ready. Upon arrival they had a sign with my name on it welcoming me to the store! I was immediately greeted, the car went right in and the whole process was completed in under 45 minutes. Bought a used car from another state. The seller had a different company repair a flat. When the car arrived, the tire went flat again. I took my car into this discount tire and not only did they fix the flat, they didn't charge me anything. Plus it was done in less than an hour. This is my tire shop. read more

They were very quick to identify which Tire would be a good replacement. However there was a day wait before I could actually have a tire put on. Once I dropped off my truck it was going to be another hour and a half. I believe they were a little short-staffed. There was also differential fluid leaking into my wheel drum brake and they never mentioned it to me. I ended up having $1,000 worth of axle work done. I wish they had been able to identify something was wrong. The other garage I took my truck to said they should have seen it. Oh well. read more

I'm not one to "review" but I can't help myself - I'm tired of being taken advantage of, I"ll speak up... I went in to see why my passenger front tire kept getting low... they said if we can patch it (which we do for free with a chuckle) we will. But if you need a new tire I suggest replacing both - I"ll let you know what we find. Made sure he had my # so I could walk down the street for a quick bite and came back to a car with 2 NEW tires on the back but my front driver was patched because of a nail???!! I always trust discount tires with my truck. That is why I always bring my baby here. Today I'll be getting some new shoes (tires) for her. I recently moved to Apache Junction and I was happy to see that a new Discount Tires was built out here. Glad I didn't have to drive far after having a blowout a few days ago...that sucked! I was really happy with their customer service. They had to order the tires I needed and they gladly did it. At first I thought it wouldn't happen. I mean, not all places are alike. Different people got different attitudes. Their customer service was awesome and they made me feel welcome. Just like the Dobson and main location. Flat sensor came on yesterday so stopped by to have pressure checked around 4pm - I was advised Every tire except for the tire with the screw in it was overinflated to 44lbs vs 36lbs- which I know can impact wear pattern. These tires were purchased and installed at this location at the end of May and I incorrectly assumed that a tire shop would inflate them appropriately and never checked them. I was advised there were 12 vehicles waiting to be serviced and my flat could not be repaired yesterday - Air was added to the tire with the screw and I came home. I sent my nephew to this location to have the flat repaired this morning. He was told it would be a 2 hrs. Wait. After waiting for approximately three hours he asked status and was told by Preston that other people came in and it would be another 2 -3 hrs. Strike one - My brand new tires purchased in May were improperly Inflated - I will have the power location check them for inappropriate wear patterns due to the Aj location over inflating the tires at install. Strike two- set appropriate expectations - five hours to repair a flat when you are told 2 hrs is not acceptable. I have always been treated right by discount in the past and have made a point to leave positive reviews when I have been treated right. I'm highly disappointed with the AJ location. I'm at the power location right now And I will revisit whether I will ever step foot in the AJ location again. read more

I've been buying tires from Discount Tire for at least the past 15 years at several different locations and have always been impressed with their customer service. The Apache Junction location is the best. I bought a set of tires there in early April. On Tuesday I picked up a nail and brought it in to be repaired right before closing time. Carlos got me in, they fixed the tire, thanked me for my business and sent me off with no charge. Thursday morning the same tire was flat again. I dropped it off and an hour later they texted that it was done. They needed to replace the tire - Carlos made sure there was no charge. Always good service. I have 7 vehicles and everyone is running in DT tires and always there for me if I needed service. Is there room for improvement yes of course by dedicated service of bay and 2 employees dedicated to fix drive up, walking flat tires and not have to wait for ever. I can't always just drop off and come back as today I had a flat, limped to the AJ DT at 4:15 and was told I'd have to wait till around 6:30 for my service so I had to sit and wait and wait and wait. When finally done it was 6:20 and the salesman said ' see we got you out faster than we thought'. Lol moron thing to say for ten mins. That is the only complaint I have for DT. read more

Want to give them a 5 but had an issue. We ordered the tires online and included a warranty. My wife checked the amount and for some reason Trevor decided he should take the warranty off. Didn't ask , just did it on his own. Other than that it wasn't bad. Normally at a Discount Tire the staff is more friendly. I had an appointment today for a new set of tires. I was told that it would be 45 minutes to an hour. I had planned on leaving the vehicle and picking it up after running errands. I had a wonderful experience at this discount tire! They took such great care of me. As a female, it is difficult to find a place that you trust and that wont take advantage of you. And I finally found the place. The assistant manager, Austin was incredibly helpful and really listened to what I wanted while him and his team informed me on had my best interest at heart. I took my car in to have my tires rotated before a cross-country road trip but before I found a killer deal on tires, I left 45 minutes later with a sweet set of wheels and still a day left ahead of me. They were fast, friendly, and safe. They really made me feel like family. What a great business. Wish every place was like this. Friendly staff. Reliable service but the order in which cars are serviced is random. Doesn't matter if you have an appointment. You get shuffled into the mix. "Friendly walkins" get service before someone who's beenwaiting an hour and whose delivery time has come and gone. Many older customers here, with the employees wearing masks it's difficult for older customers to understand. Employees need to be more cognizant on this and speak "SLOWER." read more

I had a slow leak in my tire. Showed up around 11:00am with 3 people in front of me in line and a room full of people waiting. Theses guys were hustling and working hard to get people in and out as fast as possible. Preston and Michael checking people in were polite, professional and still smiling. We needed one new tire for our 2016 Toyota RAV4 to replace a blown one and the manager convinced us to purchase a set of 4 new tires for the price of $800,- We left our vehicle on their parking lot and locked it with the remote button on our key before handing it over to the shop. After approximately 2 hours we returned to pick the vehicle up and were surprised that the car was standing unlocked on the parking lot, what made me upset since there were many personal items on the back seat. Anybody could have opened the car and grabbed out stuff. None of the remote buttons on the key was working and first we thought that it was the battery. After changing the battery, the remote buttons were still not working. We talked to the manager and explained to him that we never had any problems with this key until we dropped the car off. It seemed odd to us that a key from a fairly new car which worked fine when leaving the car turned out to be broken when picking it up after 2 hours. Of course, the manager did not want to admit any wrongdoing. Also no comment in regards to leaving our car unlocked on the parking lot. Even if the remote functions were not working anymore, they could have still locked the car manually. Instead of paying $ 800,- for a set of tires, we ended up paying $ 1,060.- ($ 800,- for the tires, $ 200,- for a new key and $ 60,- for programming the key). We are pretty sure that something happened with our key during the 2 hours while the shop had it in their possession: it would be too much coincidence if a key which is just 1.5 years old and always worked fine, suddenly stops working for no reason during the 2 hours in the shop. read more

So appreciate how over and above the customer service is at this shop! Even on a super busy Saturday Brigham G. called at least 8 places to find a rim my daughter could afford as hers was bent. He ordered it from California and it was available in just a couple days and he let us know right when it came in. Then when I got stuck at work and didn't get there till 10 minutes before closing all of the gentleman were so polite and accommodating when I am pretty sure they would have preferred to head home. I went to have a nail pulled an the tire patched. Discount tire did this part with no charge. However, someone from the shop broke my ignition. This is a restored truck and will take some time to find these pieces and to replace. Accidents happen, but I would appreciate the integrity to admit they broke something on my truck. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. This shop, its managers and its technicians are a total joke. I went there today after installing a new tire carrier on my jeep to get a bigger spare tire. First off, I ask them to put the white lettering facing out they mounted the tire backwards with the white letters facing in, so I asked them to fix it, after fixing it, the technician put my tire onto the tire carrier used an impact using their "torque stick" to put my lug nuts on at well over 200 foot pounds, I needed a 3 foot breaker bar to get them off, when I took them off I saw that the threads on one of my lug studs were completely stripped off. I go back to the store and tell the manager that his technician ruined my tire carrier and this joke of a manager offers me a whopping $20 refund for the installation fee and refers me to a different garage to repair it and a very insincere apology. Now my tire carrier is completely useless, and I have to take off work to go get it fixed. I wouldn't even trust these guys to put on a valve stem cap right at this point. read more

Called for 4 new BFG MTs , didnt have em but could have em next day between 11-3, so I said yes call when they get there and set an apt for 4:30, they called at 10:45 and said how bout 12 insteada 4:30 , hell ya got there at 11:55 and they had my truck in a bay at 12:01, Ya just dant see that anymore so waited in waiting room for about 20 mins, done n back home by 12:38 damn hell ya 5 star all the way Highly recomended read more
