For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this place is in business. They are substandard in every aspect. Substandard coffee? Check. Substandard donuts? Check. Sub standard service? Check. Slow, when it needs to be the fastest? Check. I've given these guys at least a dozen chances over 20 years. Every single time, it is crap. Although, I did get good fast service once. But, that just means I got my crap faster. Just avoid this place and all of its sister locations. This is nothing more than potential disappointment. There is a place kind of like that. It is in Leominster. There is a Dunkin Donuts, a Gourmet Donuts AND a Dippin' Donuts all within a tenth of a mile. Simply amazing. This particular Dippin' is the most convenient Dippin'. The same coffee, the same donuts (both yum!), a good drive through and easy highway access make this place pretty damn great. It does not however boast the seasoned counter help that it's Fitchburg sister -store employs. Still worth 4 stars. read more

For years we drove by the Dippin' Donuts in Leominster on our trips from Conn. to NH. We laughed that it seems like a true rip off of the Dunkin' Donuts franchise. . . from the colors to the logo to the set up of the store. But rumor has it this franchise was around before Dunkin' Donuts, making them the real copy cat. On this day, we decided to stop in and give it a try to see if the taste was also as similar. The coffee was good, but I prefer Dunkin' (when it's brewed correctly- so many stores make it inconsistently.) But for me, the true test was the old fashioned doughnut. When I broke it in order to dip it, the doughnut completely crumbled, making it very difficult to dip. How can they call it Dippin' Donuts if you can't dip it! I would stick to Dunkin' Donuts if you really want to Dunk your Doughnut. read more

I haven't had their coffee yet but hear it's pretty good. I have had their bagels & donuts, albiet I got some at the end of the night for free because they were about to throw out the leftovers (like every coffee shop does). I gotta say the bagels & donuts were really good even though they weren't the freshest by the time I got them. Still, I was quite impressed with those donuts and bagel too. And I even ate the bagel totally plain. Very good. I only give them 1 star because their website is TERRIBLE!!! As a consumer who is genuinely curious about what they have to offer in the way of foods, their website provides almost nothing. They do vaguely list some breakfast sandwiches. I wish they'd at least list the donuts that all their stores always have on stock, maybe they could go crazy and list the special donuts of the month or something? Their list of coffee flavors, I can't tell if that's only for iced coffee or hot too? Plus they've got like 40 flavors and I've got to think there's no way every store is keeping all of those flavors in stock every single day? Or are they? I don't know because their website LITERALLY looks like it was made in 1993. I'm sorry I don't mean to diss, but the website is SO BAD.. And like most customers, I don't want to have to pull up to a window to try place my order based sheerly on guess-work, because I'm pretty sure there's no menu in the drive through before you get to the speaker box....I actually don't think they have a speaker box, so I'd have to ask 100 questions at the window with a line of cars behind me. Now, that's only if my guess about the menu and speaker box are true. But even if they do have those things, based on the website the menu would be HUGE if it only listed all the (iced?) coffee flavors, forget about the donuts and sandwiches and muffins and bagels/cream cheeses. PLEASE overhaul your website. You could even use a service like Wix or whatever they have now for people who aren't web admins.. I seriously am curious about this place. But in the rush to get to work in the morning I don't want to pull up to your drive through without any clue about what you guys have to offer. You could hire any ol' web designer to make something really nice for you guys if you give the person all the right info to work with. This could even be a good opportunity to implement online ordering using a gift card system, maybe with an app to order and add funds to your account from. Give people incentive points for free coffe/food after adding so much money to their account or after so many purchases. I don't know, that's just what all the mega successful coffee shops do. Stopped by here after asking a "local doughnut connoisseur" where's the best place to go for National Doughnut Day. I guess we have different standards... I will say that when I stopped it was mid-afternoon. But it was NDD! I wasn't all that hopeful from the beginning mainly based on the size of the shelving space allotted for their doughnuts. I bought an assortment of holes cuz they didn't have much else to choose from. They weren't spectacular. The outside of the holes were hard and the inside came out w the first bite and I was holding a shell. Never knew you could do that? :| NOTE: I should prob say that I do come from FL where we have a local place called Donut King. And DK has retained their crown cuz I have never known anyone to beat their fare in variety, available choices or hours. So I guess my standards are pretty high. :) Come to FL and try doughnuts the way they are supposed to taste! read more

Wow... good lord. If I could give zero stars, oh I would. I drove through asking if they put spices on their eggwhite breakfast sandwich because it didn't state anything on the board outside. They said no, no spices. so I paid the five dollars and rolled through. They gave me my sandwich and immediately my car was filled with the most terrible smell from a serious dumping of spices on my sandwich. I feel like they did this on purpose, and don't care about any allergies people may have. Not to mention I have some inside info and it was a party in there for the young workers. I could barely breathe in my car. So I drove around and parked to go inside to ask what was going on with the simple eggwhite sandwich. I went inside asking politely to the young girl behind the counter. Why be rude to her? I didn't know who did it. So I was nice and she kindly took my sandwich behind the counter. I asked them about the spices . The older short woman with dark hair .. (looked like the manager or owner I believe) was standing in the back, giving me terrible looks because THEY made a mistake and didn't like how I came in and said something because others were looking. Well, that's not my problem. Long story short, the short manager lady with dark hair got very angry while keeping in the back, tantrum style. They didn't apologize, they didn't fix my sandwich, and the out-of-control angry manager wouldn't let me have a refund. They touched the old sandwich with their hands and the manager said I had to pay TWICE if I wanted one sandwich. Literally. Not a single bite I had taken from the first. This is basically fast food and I couldn't believe what was going on in front of a crowd of at least ten people. I asked for no spices, clearly someone there thinks they are funny. There was so much spices "dumped" on my sandwich that I couldn't even breathe in my car. I left with no sandwich, no refund, no apology and given some serious attitude. I wasn't about to pay 9$ for one eggwhite wrap. Absolutely insane how these people just STEAL from their customers. I couldn't even say anything more to them because I was beyond disgusted with their attitude. I just walked out. Could barely drive home in my permeated smelly car. I have never gone back since and I know they have been reported to the BBB for stealing customers money before. It's not the amount, it's how you treat your customers after YOU or a worker makes a mistake. Why should I pay for two sandwiches for YOUR mistake? The sandwiches were made to order on the spot so you did have to wait a bit but it's well worth the wait, nothing seemed frozen, everything from the eggs to the choice of carb was fresh. They also have the best iced coffee I have ever had, not so much the coffee itself but in the way the iced coffee was made. I like it extra sweet and creamy and I was asked if I would like for them to melt some of the sugar so it wasn't gritty on the bottom? Well would ya look at that! "Yes by all means please do you little five star earner you!'. The staff was incredibly friendly and didn't seem to hate their jobs which is always a pleasant thing for the customer. It's very uncomfortable to be around an employee that can't stand their work because you feel it as well and you feel like you should cry whilst ordering your latte or whatever it is you drink, or eat. I was there this morning and stood there unnoticed for too long while I waited for service There was an angry individual behind the counter blocking the donut selection while another person finally decided to help and fill my order for a dozen donuts for a business meeting. At least one donut was dropped on the floor as I pointed to selections from the display. Poorly managed and poor customer service! Employees tangle with each other. I got a bagel, which was decent, but their cream cheese has a very strange taste to it. The girls at the counter were nice. However when I walked in I felt like I was walking into 1990. Flavors galore! I love this coffee shop! I always try something new and I am never disappointed. Great location- plenty of parking and it's not too hard to get out of there (unlike many spots in the Leominster area). I went there about a week ago and had a horrible cold. My boyfriend ran in and got me a hot nutty flavored coffee and I felt so much better after drinking it. I always enjoy interacting with the staff and I love the holiday decorations that they put up. I love me some Dippin Donuts. What makes this place great is that the girls who work there actually know their customers. They see me coming around the corner of the drive-up and have my regular coffee ready to go by the time I get to the window. They have a great selection of freshly brewed coffees. I love the flavors and the fact that they brew them all, not add syrups. For the record, this was also my dog's favorite place in the world. I couldn't drive by the place without her getting excited for a donut hole. Dippin Donuts is by far the thing I miss the most about living in Leominster. read more

I love the coffee so I'll keep going back but every time I go to this place I get to hear about one of the girls sexcapades and other private (not so private) conversations. First and last time in this shop. Employee named Lourdes was the most unpleasant person I have yet to come accross in a long time. She was not only unpleasant but she crossed the line to RUDE. Rolled her eyes at me when I asked her very politely to provide a coffee that was not so white in color. I had asked for " a small amount of cream" and was told ther is no such thing, take ,1, 2 or 3 creams. It was dimly lit, the shelf set up for the donuts and pastries was messy and mislabeled, most of the trays and behind the counter accessories were mismatched and looked like they were from the 90s...that said, the breakfast sandwiches and donuts are alright. This place is convenient since it is on my way to work. I thought it was going to be my "go to" coffee place but I'm sad to say that it is not. First experience, I ordered an iced mocha craze with very little ice and a breakfast wrap. Sandwich was okay but the iced coffee was full of ice that by the time I got to work, it was lacking flavor and very watered down. I had to throw it away. I got a survey and explained the situation and they ended up refunding the iced coffee. That was very nice so I went back the second time and ordered a mango smoothie. It was pretty decent. Third time I came back, I tried the drive thru and I ordered their caramel latte and a breakfast wrap. I thought it was a little overpriced for a medium latte and a breakfast wrap. Total was $8.12. I gave the girl $20 and I told her that I have the 12 cents. When I handed her the 12 cents, she gave me back $11. I told her that she owes me a dollar. she took out 88 cents out of her tip jar. I reminded her that I gave her $20.12 and the total was $8.12 so I should get $12 back. (I'm thinking in my head that it's simple math) but I was still polite. She then explained that she gave me 88 cents and she seemed very confused. Rather than explaining the simple calculation, I just let it go. The wrap was okay and the latte was okay. No difference from Dunkin except maybe more expensive. I have decided that I am never going back there. This place has overpriced mediocre food/coffees and incompetent workers who can't do simple math! read more
