My friend and I met here to discuss our book club one Friday morning. The coffee drink selection was great, I had a vanilla latte. I also had some type of egg white and spinach sandwich. I can't remember exactly what was on it, but I do remember it was quite delicious!!! There were two older gentlemen playing a game of chess right next to us. It seems like they were regulars. This place definitely has a relaxed, chill vibe. Will definitely be back!

The Cake Shop cafe made this birthday cake for my son. Everything I have had has been outstanding.

The cake shop did an outstanding job on my sons birthday cake. The vegan cake, cupcakes and cookies also excellent. Highly recommend.

We were on our way to Rhode Island and we needed to stop on the road for a cup of coffee. Cake Shop Cafe was a surprising gem that we found and I really wish this was located near my house. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place. It is the perfect spot to sit, sip a cup of coffee, enjoy their hot sandwiches, and chat (or study!). If this cafe was near my college, I would've been a regular customer! When I first walked in, there were so many desserts that I wanted to try, but I just knew that I will be full for the rest of our trip and probably will not enjoy much of our itinerary. However, I just HAD to order one dessert and one of their hot sandwiches because the smell of it, along with their coffee, just feels so pleasant. Also, everything was pretty cheap - it definitely was the right thing to do. I ordered their Sweet Matcha drink with almond milk and it was probably my favorite matcha drink I've ever had. I finished it before my sandwich was ready. The sandwich I ordered was their bacon & pesto and it truly did not disappoint. They were not stingy with the pesto! Pulling the sandwich apart and revealing the melted mozzarella was quite satisfying. Also, the bread they use is focaccia! The chocolate chip cookie was full of chocolate chips. Again, this place is never stingy with its ingredients!

I had never noticed this place before! I frequently park right by it to go to nearby businesses (especially Christopher's Homemade Ice Cream). So when my friend brought me here I was totally surprised. Lots of yummy drink, sandwich and baked goods selections!!! Lovely areas to sit inside and out (temporarily closed due to covid) and we had a great server. I ordered a large iced mocha latte and a blueberry scone. Both were delicious and the scone was huge!! $8.30 and I'll definitely stop in again!!

Located off the beaten track in a converted brick warehouse of a strip mall. Over-the-counter ordering. Huge coffee and hot drinks list. Pastries in glass display cases. Sandwiches available too. Cozy seating (not during covid season) in plush chair and couches along a brick wall. Chocolate croissant: Good flakiness, great butteriness, okay chocolate. Additions of white sugary topping and thin chocolate drizzle added visually but might have distracted from the main event. A really good croissant at its core that might be better if simpler, but that's purely subjective. Blueberry muffin: Very interesting texture more similar to gingerbread than your typical smooth muffin mix. Light on blueberries but strong on dough flavor. Flourless peanut butter bar: This one was the ultimate in mixed feelings: fantastic dark chocolate frosting, but the crumbly base had the feel of a bulletin board. Coffee: Good. Chai Tea Latte: Good. Three-and-a-half is what it should be. Tempted to round down because the fives seem inflated (maybe they've never been to Boston), but I don't want to be that guy, so an inflated four it is. Either way, there's plenty to like and plenty of room for improvement on the next visit.

So having to drive to Millbury to have my Jeep serviced (again) is not my idea of fun, but my 10 year old daughter and I were extremely pleased to have found this place!!! Sensational vibe and service, and the food was superb!!! Can't wait to come back...even if it does involve more issues with the Jeep!

Custom cake for law school graduates

I had my daughters graduation cake made here and they did an amazing job recreating the image but made it even better! The cake was deliciously moist and they gave us extra frosting. Highly recommend them for your custom cake order or just to go in for a bite to eat! The staff is so friendly and accommodating you will want to make this a frequent stop.

Tasty coffee with reasonable price, friendly staffs. Recommended to my kid, who used to go to Birch Tree, and they like the Cake Shop too.

That's don't impress me much!…read more That's the feeling I have. Queens Cup has been on my list for about 3 years. I admit, I am weak for frosting so I figured this had to be a win for me. Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy. Overall I was let down and Queens Cup is off the return list.

The omelette was cooked just right with a great balance of cheese and flavorful veggies/mushrooms inside. The home fries could've been a touch softer and a bit more seasoned, but they still did an amazing job of complementing the meal. another star of the show was the house-made bread: warm, fluffy, lightly crisped, and just overall delicious. Easily one of the highlights; try all the bread here! The space itself feels warm and inviting, with a nice blend of trendy modern coffee shop energy and a deep sense of community. You can tell it's a place that means something to its diverse customers and its extremely kind and hospitable owners. Staff were kind and welcoming, and the overall vibe made it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. Amazing coffee, amazing bread, amazing brunch, lovely people. Highly recommend checking it out. We ordered a cup of chicken rice soup, a chicken Caesar wrap (comes with sweet potato fries), 3 mini sugar cookies and bottled beverages. The soup we didn't care for at all. It was flavorless and had a smell to it. My 5 year old pointed the smell out to me. The wrap was a little different to me. It was just okay. The chicken didn't taste fresh - like packaged chicken. It had chic peas inside of it, which was different. Sweet potato fries were great. You're probably wondering why I gave them 5 stars. While sitting down, a gentleman came over and asked how our lunch was. I was honest with him for feedback knowing it was there second day. He offered to make it over. I declined. He then offered to give us treats (cookies/brownies), I then again declined and this time he insisted. He left our table and gave us some goodies to go. Because of his customer service, I'll rate this establishment 5 stars.

I loved what I saw from street view already, being someone who loves quaint homeyness over hoity-toity pretentiousness, but upon walking in I almost knew immediately this would be the spot.
