But to begin with, our server had already upset my gf from the start with the attitude he had and looked like he did not want to serve us at all. On top of that, when I had ordered the Diosa and Co. as my drink of choice, I was excited for the presentation and was ready to post it on my social media. Stopped by on Friday for their happy hour around 4pm and I really enjoyed the experience. The menu has many different options of food and drink to choose from. Made a reservation for 7 people two weeks before Mother's Day. We checked in before our reservation and were told we would get a text when the table was ready. The restaurant was packed inside and out and I was happy that I made a reservation thinking that we were going to be seated pretty quickly. However, After 30 minutes of waiting we asked the staff about how much longer we would have to wait, and they said they couldn't tell us how much longer. Another 15 minutes passed and we started getting annoyed as we kept seeing groups of people who arrived after us get seated. I brought this to their attention and they stated that they had a smaller group. I told them not by much, some groups had 6. I felt that they needed to figure it out and seat us as we made a reservation for this very reason. After an hour of waiting, they finally sat us down. We ordered and the waitress informed us that the kitchen is backed up and it will be a while. We didn't get our food till 1 hr and 20 min after we ordered. The waitress was nice and attentive but by that time we were are all frustrated and very hungry. The food was good but the kitchen staff didn't follow instructions, for example some people didn't want sauce on some of their dishes. I'm very disappointed with the experience. My mother was so excited to come here but after what happened, I will not consider bringing her back or recommending this place to others. They should have anticipated the rush and made sure they had adequate seating and staffing for people with reservations and stop taking walk-ins, if they were doing that. Also people should be told that there is a time limit on holidays if they are taking too long to eat. read more

I came to DIOSA to celebrate a friend's birthday a few weeks ago. I made a reservation, thinking it would be busy on a Sunday night -- but it was relatively slow. After a bit of waiting, we got seated at a booth (it's a very tall seating area LOL) near the bar. Luckily, we came on a Sunday which also means: all day happy hour! I ordered off the goddess hour menu and got the corn taquitos ($15) while my friends got the steak empanadas, protein bowl, and quesadillas. Moscatos were also ordered and they were incredibly light and sweet! One thing for sure is that their portion sizings are generous. I thought the corn taquitos would come out small, but they were way bigger than expected and actually filled me up! I ended up bringing home leftovers and my overall meal was good! My friends all liked their dishes too, but we noted that the steak empanadas were underwhelming. My group and I really liked the vibe at DIOSA! They offer a sophisticated and elegant, yet inviting aesthetic with chic decor. There was even a fully lined wall with clase azul bottles, which I thought was a super fun touch. The server was nice and attentive, he surprised us and bought out a slice of cake for my friend in honor of her birthday! My only note in terms of service is that we could tell they were trying to rush us out the door -- even though the restaurant was slow and it was only 9pm. The server came by like clockwork, literally asking us every 5 minutes if we needed anything else. It got so excessive to the point that the manager came over to introduce himself to us for no particular reason...we got the hint LOL. In all, DIOSA's food may not be the selling point of the place, but the vibes and ambience are what definitely makes it. Otherwise, I don't see it standing out too much compared to other Mexican restaurants tbh. It's a solid place to drink and hangout -- but beware that they'll most likely try to run you out the door if you end up staying long! read more

Here I was getting ready to dine at Diosa for my wife's birthday, she was excited about the comments, pictures and menu. She even asked me and my son to dress up because this place is strict about dress code. We got there and the place looks lonely just a few people by the bar and another group seating right behind our table. My surprise was that people in jeans other with shorts so I was thinking, what the heck? I should've just come in comfortable clothes. The anticipation grew when the waiter and other person brought some fancy drinks with smoke from dry ice and a box to make exiting. I not really in to optics I am about the quality and taste of the drinks but they were disappointing, too flat and not good enough to order another one. The waiter offered water for the table so without thinking we say yes, interesting fact no restaurant has ever asked us if we wanted distilled water or tap water. Another thing these people don't offer any complementary chips and salsa like other restaurants, everything is charged to your bill at the end. Food was mediocre and expensive, we requested a cheesecake in advance and it was nasty and very low quality with tons of food coloring, no appealing not decorated but somehow ridiculously expensive. $168.00 for a cheesecake, you have Porto's down the street with superior quality and way cheaper in price. Food not as authentic as they make it seem, you don't believe compared the food here to ChaCha's in Brea and you let me know. This Diosa restaurant is overrated, pricy and honestly I don't think a place like this will survive for too long. Better options out there, don't get fooled read more

Came in for a weekend brunch around 11:30 on a Saturday. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful layout. Classy, elegant and chandelier's everywhere! We ordered the waffles which came with optional sides - my friend chose the potatoes and eggs. I ordered the Chilliques. Both of these items were delicious and came in massive portions. Everything was delicious including the cocktails. Service was good and staff were friendly. This spot is on par with other brunch options when it comes to pricing. I had heard a few negative reviews about the service at this place but still decided to give this place a chance, people were not wrong. We Did not even make it into the restaurant before valet decided to be rude. I understand a place having Valet parking if the place is full to capacity and you can't find parking, but for us to park our own car in 1 of the 20+ available spots and get told rudely by Valet that it's $10 fee to park there does not sit right with anyone. Managemnet needs to train their valet workers better on how to talk to customers Valet also made this comment to us and said "if you wanted free parking you can park at the CVS" (in a mocking tone) as if it's not in the same parking lot. At the end of the day It wasn't about the $10 dollar fee It was the delivery from the Valet workers that need to be addressed. Also keep in mind there are other restaurants next door and their locations have no parking on Fridays & Saturdays after 4pm (according to the Valet worker). What an inconvenience for those businesses customers because Diosa decided to take all that section as their own for Valet. Pretty soon this place will be going out of business due to service starting from the Valet workers. Will never be returning to this place. read more

Josue followed by introducing himself and inquired if we were celebrating any special occasion. I almost did not order a drink but why come here, read the menus, and not imbibe! The guacamole piqued my senses due to that habanero salsa that I was initially afraid of. Holy molé has been defined and surprisingly delicious without all the oil. The green rice was good. The beans left me underwhelmed they can hold those next time. The deviled shrimp looked (not tasted) unique from most others the man usually orders. The ambiance and attention to detail in the esthetics primed me for levitation. I left feeling excited for return. Alright so I went back. And this time was a much different experience. Let's start off with this time we were happily greeted and given the choice of seating this time around. Much better than the last experience already. We decided to sit at a booth/bottle service table. I can't say how great their interior design is. It's absolutely beautiful and perfectly lit in a great setting. The staff was extremely helpful with the menu and very attentive this time around. We ordered Steak tacos Chilaquiles And chicken mole I didn't get to try the tacos. However I did try the steak from the chilaquiles. Marinated and seasoned absolutely perfectly. grilled to perfection. Display was amazing. We ordered a few of their display drinks. Plata o Plomo Taste and display is impressive. I guarantee you won't go wrong with this. Great hint of smoke and cinnamon. Elegant taste and scent. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Not under or overly dry. The mole sauce is definitely on the lower end of richness. It's far lighter than the usual mole. Which I think is good since it won't be too sweet for most. From the moment of walking in, to the moment we got our food and the moment we left. This time it was amazing. Such a wonderful experience. Firstly, service is bad. Nobody was at the host stand to seat us. Food is okay and comes out fast, but gave me and a few members in my party an upset stomach. We are attending a convention and it's been messing with us all morning. It had to be one of the appetizers since that is what we had shared. Either one of the empanadas or crudos.
