I arrived to this Dior location at 7:35 pm. Online store hours say the store closes at 8pm. I drove over an hour to be denied entry. The security guard Carlos stated that Cliff the manager denies guests into the store 30 minutes prior to closing. Because they want to be out of there by 8 pm. I will take my business else where. Worst customer service experience I've ever had in my whole life. Went to the store at around 7pm, there was literally one woman inside. Security guard says it will be "3 min wait". That was no problem at all! We are waiting at this point for about ten minutes, when the store is completely empty. People are leaving and he still won't let us inside. Then, two women come up behind us and ask if "Tanya" is working. What do you know, Tanya who obviously was sitting in the back doing nothing, comes out and lets them inside immediately to help them. We are still waiting and the security guard won't let us inside. Another salesperson comes up to the security guard and says "if a lady in blue comes up, let her inside immediately". At this point, it became obvious the security guard was not giving us help on purpose. I asked the security guard if we can just go inside to look since the store is so empty. He says he needs "permission" to let us in. We walked away after this. After this experience, I would never give Dior another penny of my money. Apparently, if you're wearing Lululemon leggings and a sweatshirt, you're not allowed to even step inside their store to look. Newsflash Dior, it doesn't matter what you are wearing or what you look like, I was prepared to spend money at this store but never would again. If you're looking for actually great customer service - I was treated amazingly at Gucci. EDIT: Changed from 1 star to 2 star. I called the store the next morning to let them know about the experience I had. The lady on the phone, who seemed to be from corporate, was extremely nice and totally understood where I was coming from. She let the boutique manager know about this incident and he called me back last night. Clint was extremely respectful and polite. He apologized sincerely for what occurred and said he is aware some of his staff needs "more emotional intelligence". I appreciated him taking the time back to call me. read more

Went from a 2 star to 1 star because 0 is not available. Took my daughter to look at the saddle bag she's been wanting. The sales associate was unapologetically short, snappy and arrogant. I'm not sure if that's the theme in this store. The look of annoyance was written all over her face. She wanted a black saddle bag and I had to talk her out of it because I felt the service was so bad. Never again will I step foot in this store. After days and weeks of tracking an item I came across it being available at certain locations. I chose this store being it's not a far conmute from where I live. Now I regret coming to this store, the service was horrible. As you wait outside to be let in by the security guard he was not polite at all. Once you are in the store the agents start to point around figuring who is next. Once I approached the counter an agent reached out to me. Let's start off by the fact she didn't care to greed me, her exact words were "What do you want to get ?". I was immediately turned off by her attitude and she was so snooty and couldn't stop looking up and down at me as if I was wasting her time. She probably thought I was not going to buy anything because of my appearance. I walked in wearing my yogas, a sweater and some running shoes. I was also with my family (my husband and my baby in a stroller). I don't have a business card and didn't catch her name tag or else I would put her name on this review. So, what my husband and I decided to do is go to another store return the item and rebuy it so the commission goes to someone else. If I can find a corporate number or email I will be providing the receipt number of my transaction so they can see who helped me. Walking in here is like coming into a little flower garden welcoming you in the center of the stores. They carry clothing, shoes, accessory and fine jewelry. Came in here to shorten a necklace that I have purchased in San Francisco. Dustin was the sale associate who helped me and he was patient with taking down the information since the jewelry manager was not in that day. I only waited a few days for the return phone call from the jewelry manager to inform me the repair estimate price. It was reasonable and fast. I believe the jewelry manager's name was Michael. He was polite throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend to work with them if you are looking for a sale associate in the boutique. Terrible customer service. I purchased jewelry that was supposed to be delivered to the store and I was promised they would call on a certain week. Passed that week, since nobody called us and I tried to call the store. Their phone service is horrible. You call the South Coast Plaza store and you get transferred to a phone center who says they can transfer us but warn us that we have a chance to either be disconnected or transferred back. Everytime we get disconnected. I asked for a direct line and they say they are not allowed to give us that. I would stay away from this brand. You don't need the extra stress in your life. read more

So I bought this bracelet at the Vegas Location and it broke so I took it to the South Coast Location, Here's how it went: Me: Hi, I would like to get my bracelet fixed... I bought a saddle bag and simply didn't like it - went back for the return. The woman at door kept us waiting for 20 min and after being tossed from two people back to her- she asked did I enjoy it and now I want to return it? How rude? Can you imagine? This long hair, short/skinny Chinese girl who works there looks down on Chinese people. A few month ago, a friend of mine and I went into Dior and asked for a pair of flip flops that they had there. She came up rudely said "NO WE DON'T HAVE IT ANYMORE, EVEN IF WE DID IT WOULD NOT BE ON SALE!" My friend and I both found it weird and asked her "what do you mean? who has asked you if it would be on sale?!" She then repeated the exact same things 4 times! We thought her tone was extremely rude and left. 7/9/2011, A group of my friends and I went there again, it was her again! She stared us down and didn't say anything at first. But before we left the place, she came up to me and said in Chinese "DO YOU HAVE A DISEASE?" I said "WHAT?" She said "YOUR FACE IS RED, SO ITS EITHER DISEASE OR SUNBURN. " I did drink a little in the St.John store since they provided us with Champagne, however, the way she said it was just wrong. So I asked her "is it because your manager/coworkers do not understand Chinese, so you can rudely speak to people like this?" she said "YOU HAVE HEARD OF SUN BLOCK HAVEN'T YOU?!" then I got pissed off, and said "who are you to judge me? look at yourself in the mirror first, flat face!" then she still would not let it go, so the argument went on for awhile until we realized why even waste our time there arguing with such a horrible person and left. This store has THE WORST customer service I have ever encountered. The strap to one of my Dior bags had broken so I took it to this location to have it fixed. I had only had the bag for a year so the bag should have been covered by warrenty. Not only did it take almost two months for me to get my bag back but the guy tried to charge $40 for it. I started asking about the warranty and he suddenly decided to not charge me since I had to wait so long. When I got home, I took a close look and realized that the bad was only partially fixed. So, I had to go back and have them fix it again. Not only was the sales associate bored with my explanation she THREW my bag behind some door and then told me that they would call me when it was ready. Guess how long I had to wait... YUP. I was dressed very casually when I first went in and there was no "checking me out" as another reviewer described. There was no pressure to purchase, either. I ultimately selected two of their magnificent bags with Eric's patient assistance. Eric was a joy to deal with, by the way. I had a wonderful-wonderful experience shopping today at South Coast Plaza's "Dior". I almost didn't go but in the end, was glad I did. The purse and shoes I had been dreaming about and wanted were just calling my name. What made the purchase so pleasant was how I was treated.. The store manager should be commended, she was so knowledgeable and treated me with great respect as she went above and beyond to find exactly what I needed. I felt like I had gone to heaven with the amazing customer service! It's no wonder South Coast Plaza has such a great reputation for excellent boutiques and customer service! This place has got to be one of the WORST customer service stores at South Coast. As my mom and I were looking around the workers eyed us and one greeted us and asked if we needed help. I found a wallet cute and asked for the price which ended up being on sale. It was cute but I didn't want it and when she realized I didn't want the item even though it was "cheap" she left us to ourselves. However my mom did find a purse but no one was around to help us for nearly 20minutes. They decided that we weren't worth their time. I will never step into this store again! They have the worst return policy ever. 14 days but not on accessories, that includes everything in the store except clothing which are not returnable at all. What is left??? If you do dare to try to return anything expect the worst treatment from the manager and be happy if you get store credit. Most of the designer lables are available at Bloomingdales, Nieman Marcus, Nordstrom etc. with pleasant sales staff and excellent return policies. That is were I will be shopping for designer lables in the future. read more
