This was a highlight of our vacation. Family friendly. It's a must if you have kids that love dinosaurs. I have teenagers and little ones .. even the teens loved it. Food is good but it's expensive. our server was great. personable and ready to help. the ambiance was to be expected. fun for kids animated dinosaurs. the food however was very expensive and only mediocre in flavor and presentation. I ordered a steak medium rare. I got a steak medium well. if you looked really hard you could see a little pink here and there. it tased good but not great. We were very excited to come to the restaurant and the kids were impressed by the moving Dino's. We requested a booth and we're told that their weren't servers. After being seated, 3 empty booths were given to 3 different families that arrived after us. Ruined my experience bc there wasn't any reason we couldn't have been given a booth. I then ordered a steak and requested to have it cooked medium. Brought out 2 times well done. The server told us it would be comped after not eating a bite of the steak. Wasted an additional 30 minutes being told that the meal was comped although I ate nothing. Very poorly run. I wouldn't recommend this place or ever go back. read more

Don't come here looking for a good meal. The dinosaurs and things were cool but the food was yuck. Lettuce in the salad was brown and the cucumbers were mushy. The steak I ordered came out nearly raw, I had to send it back 3 times before they got it to stop mooing and cooked to a medium. Then it wasn't good when I finally got to eat it. It was SOOOOO overpriced! A kids meal is $15 for a few pieces of fish and French fries. there also just isn't very many options. They need to stop "cooking" food all together and just be an attraction. That's the only good thing about this place anyway. read more

I would love to give it 5 stars being my grandson loved the dinosaurs but the food is over priced for the quality as well as the staff not being up to par. Waited at the door to be seated way to long when the hostess came she didn't say hello kinda ignored us til she was ready after helping another worker that could of waited. Our waitress Jody came to our table & my husband went to wash up but wouldn't allow us to order our drinks & then when she finally came back after passing us multiple times she then would only take our drink order when we were ready to order food as well. Took forever for her to come back with 4 drinks which happened to be 2 waters a sweet tea & a kids drink then took our food order. We wanted our salads to come with the meal being our grandson was hungry but told us they couldn't do that so we asked if we could get the chicken fingers & fries sooner but was told no again. We just got 3 double burgers with fries & the burgers had a weird texture & was way smaller then the bun. The fries were better then the burgers besides needed salt or a season & for some reason crinkle fries came with the chicken fingers & they were terrible. I watched our waitress & at each & every table she had after running the credit cards she stood there & watched them sign them to see I guess what they were going to tip. I pointed it out to my daughter & she did the same to us then proceeded to ask us just like her other tables to give them 5 star rating as if they went above & beyond when actually they seem to be having their own powwow in the kitchen. If there was a manager there they did a shitty job at making sure everyone had a good experience. The bathrooms were ok til in 2 stalls in the ladies room had now toilet paper & you couldn't get up til you asked a stranger if they could pass some over. The mens room was disgusting the bus boy was clearing off your table before you were ready to go as you were trying to gather what you were taking. I couldn't believe there was a full alcohol bar that could be taken out being this is for kids more then adults. If I go back it would only be for maybe dessert only that we would of loved to have but after the food wasn't all that great we decided to go elsewhere for dessert. Sorry so long but in a nutshell don't go for the food but maybe just dessert ONLY. Food was good, and a bit pricey but the ambience and experience compared to similar themed restaurants was awesome. The velociraptor came out and was really into putting on a good show of sounds/motions. Everyone rushed up to see him, but he comes to each table with a guide so the kids can pet him. Ribs portion was enormous and arranged like a standing rib roast with potatoes inside. Puts trex and rainforest cafe experience to shame. read more

We took our 4 year old granddaughter, who is a dinosaur freak. She was entranced by the dinosaurs, wide-eyed at the animatronics. The food was very good, all 4 adults were happy with their dinners and the little girl ate more than she has all week. We will definitely be back next year! read more

Made a reservation, they called 3 hours prior to confirm... got there and waited an additional 15 minutes past our reservation time for the table to be cleaned and it seemed we were an inconvenience to the front hostess even though we DID have a reservation. We were seated, took a while to see our waitress and even longer to get drinks. Food was extremely subpar. Like 3/10, kids fruit salad option was oranges and pineapples... for $15 not worth it one bit. NY strip was worse than Texas Roadhouse and 2.5x the price. Mashed potatoes dry. Was here today 08/08/22with my family to celebrate birthday. Reservation was made online with a special birthday note, get no reaction from the stuff till additional reminder. Let me say that atmosphere for kids just great, specialty working Dino between the table! When we walked in at reception was a big family, which wasn't a problem because our daughter was running around looking at the dinosaurs. We've been placed in the corner with not the best view even if there was several better tables. Our servant was absolutely great, making sure we get everything we need. But let me tell you that they definitely have problems at the kitchen. We ordered salmon with mash potatoes, that was cold by the time it reached our table. Salmon wasn't to bad, just a little bit dry on the corners. Kids hamburger was so Plain, I've never seen anything like this before, just bread and meat, no vegetables no sauce, but by the request they did bring lettuce, slice of tomato, onion and Pickle. Unfortunately we couldn't finish it because of flying flys around. 30$ Stake that my husband was really waiting for turn to full disappointment! After one slice for my husband and second for me to verify also from me that it has no flavor and dry as rubber. We ask for the manager and explain her the situation, but all she was able to do is give us a 50% discount on stake explaining that we eat a half of it! Attitude to the guests is ridiculous! Birthday cake we get on the chipped plate, that makes me wondering was that because of complaints about meat or they don't care if the guests. It's not only looks bad it's also dangerous, because you can easily swallow a piece of glass with your birthday cake. According to the website they offer free Dino egg with two meals, and what you think we didn't get even that, because we didn't print a coupon! Only go here if you have children that absolutely love dinosaurs. Atmosphere is cool. Make sure u have a camera. The food isn't that good and the prices ridously high with little options. Food would be bettering there were better menu items. We went here with4 adults and 2 kids. We all had water and a appetizer as a meal got the adults and 2 kid meals. Bill without tip was over 120.00. The service is horrible and the kitchen is extremely slow. The gift shop is small and so over priced. Also they have pictures of these cool kids cups on the menu but actually don't have them. Highly disappointed. This is a one time only place to go. read more

We visit Myrtle often and are always looking to try something new! My kiddo is very recently into Dinosaurs so I knew we had to visit. It's off season, and it felt like it. We were seated at the front of the restaurant, away from all of the animals. You can tell they've really tried to transform the inside into a dinoland. Most of it was really well done. One thing that kind of killed the atmosphere was the music. There was a lot of Beyoncé & similar type songs- not really what I'd expect to hear dining with dinos! Our server was sweet but service was slow. The food prices are high- but you're paying for an experience and the decor, so I expected that going in. The kids meals are $12 each and don't include drinks. The kids portions were huge though! The adult menu was....sad. Sever of the items on the online menu weren't on the actual menu in restaurant. There weren't many options, and I actually struggled to find something that appealed to me. I ended up just getting a plain salad because if I'm dropping $50 on a steak, it's going to be at a steakhouse- not dinoland. The salad was huge and delicious. $10 to add grilled chicken. While we waited for our food, my husband took my kid around to look at the dinos, and she enjoyed this. Just as we were getting ready to leave, the dinosaur came out of the back. It was a great costume & seemed very real. This was the highlight of the trip. It scared my little one at first, and the dino passed her up because she was upset, which I really appreciated. After we got her calmed down and she wanted to pet the dino, he came back and she was so proud of herself. That made it worth the money & experience. I don't think we'd come back, but I'm happy she got to enjoy it once. I'd leave less than one star if I could. The food was absolutely terrible. We ordered 7 meals- when we left, there were still 7 meals. The "salad" is the saddest salad I've ever seen in my life. Long story short, we were VERY OVERCHARGED, the food was disgusting, the dinosaur lingered at our table after terrifying our child, there were flies landing all over our food, and over all it was just not worth the time or money. We came because my 5 year old found a coupon for a free Dino egg dessert in the coupon book. The service was outstanding, and our server Nick deserved the tip automatically added to our party of 8 (6 adults, 5 and 2 year olds). That being said, the food was terrible. We had a side salad with brown lettuce. The ribs come on top of the mashed potatoes and they fell off the bone, but were covered in fat. The chicken tenders were rubbery and fries tasted stale. The Alfredo was decent and so was the catfish (fish and chips). They were out of Dino eggs and gave us a lava cake instead. It was so overpriced, but if the food was good I wouldn't have minded. Custimer service starts from first contact until tab is paid. We called to get reservations, upon getting to the restaurant we notice the lines formed in the inside. While standing inline I notice the line to the left of me is moving as the staff in front of my line has left, the person ahead of me turns around and asked if there were 2 lines because she had bee. in the line for some time and know one had acknowledged her. We finally get to the register-tell the staff out name and the staff says follow me, we walk to the closest table behind the register-the staff puts down our menus and forks and walks off...she did not verify if the table was ours or not. This place was horrible. The Service was horrendous. we had a table of 11 and the waitress stood at the end of the table and tried to yell at everyone. Brought drinks and and spilled them all over both myself and my mom as she threw them to us to hand to everyone. couldn't get silverware for 15 minutes. the burgers were good, but very overpriced. No one could eat the chicken. couldn't even get dipping sauce for it. checkin in took 20 minutes and the place wasn't even that busy. now we know why. I'd skip it and save the money. read more

My daughter enjoyed looking at the dinosaurs for the first five minutes. It went down hill from there. Our waitress took our order and brought out the drinks ten minutes later. After that we didn't see anyone for approximately 30 minutes when our meal showed up. We informed our waitress we never received our salads and she simply said "oh they don't take long to make. I will be right back." I ask if I could have some ketchup as well. She brought the salads out ten minutes later in to go boxes without requested ketchup. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. The service is soooo bad. We waited for about an hour, while the restaurant was only about half full. I believe they are way understaffed. It took 25 mins before our waiter ever came, than another 20 mins before drinks arrived.. Food is way overpriced. $20 bucks for a hamburger is like Disney prices.. People were getting up and leaving without even paying, refusing to pay, because it was so bad. We actually thought that maybe we didn't understand the whole experience and we were supposed to start foraging for food in the kitchen to kinda fit the theme and all.. no kidding, my niece came up with this suggestion.lol Anyways, the food wasn't bad once we got it. When we came in, there was a very unhappy customer yelling and saying she wasn't going to pay. The owner/manager look defeated. He looked at me and asked me about my day. I was waiting at the bar with my kids for a table. He jumped us up in line which was awesome and I really appreciated it. Our waitress was kind and polite. Although she got a few things on our order mixed up, I was still optimistic. At that point it started going down hill. The food came out and was bland and over cooked. I got chicken and it was so dry I could barely swallow it. The mashed potatoes were like cardboard, no flavor. My 7 year old told me that the chicken tenders were not edible and that the salad was the best part... a 7 year old. The salads didn't even come out, we had to point out that we never got them. The $14.99 kids meal didn't come with a drink. We paid $3.50 each for both kids drinks. So essentially a $20 kids meal that they didn't even eat. The women's room was a disgrace. Toilet paper and trash exploding out of the trash can and all over the floor, 2/4 toilets were clogged with poop and toilet paper. We showed the waitress the coupon in one of the travel magazines for the free Dino egg desert with the purchase of two dinners. She said they can only accept it if it's printed out (it doesn't state that anywhere on the ad) and I had taken a picture of it yesterday from the book which are free and available everywhere, seems ridiculous but I wasn't going to argue with her, she was nice enough and she doesn't own the restaurant. The kids meal comes with "ice cream", they put all these great dessert pictures on the kids menu and what comes with the meal is a DIXIE CUP of ice cream, it's a joke. A plus is the dinosaurs are neat, they move and make noises. They have a big one walk around the dining room and greet each table. The dinosaur experience is what you are paying for, the food is gross but little kids like dinosaurs so as a parent, you just deal. If you do have dino lovers, I suggest eating before you go and order a dessert or drinks to get the dinosaur experience. It's a great idea but poorly executed. I had all intentions on writing a really nice review since they basically cut 40 mins off our wait time, for being so high priced, I felt I had to give my full real experience and hopefully save someone else the disappointment. read more

Went here last night for our boys. The inside is very unique with the dinosaurs. However, it feels like it's only half way done. Some dinosaurs that move then you have dragons and then ice age characters. Price is extremely high for dinner type food. We never did get to experience the walking dinosaur after being there over 1.5 hours. Also, watched three families come in, sit down, order drinks, then leave due to not getting to order food or receiving food. Service improvement would help this place out. read more
