Stopped in to try the wonderful selection of beverages at Ding Tea, and was not disappointed! The service was lightning fast, friendly, and accurate. The store is very clean and cozy. They told my wife she would need to wait additional 15min for a large signature tea. This is after she waited almost half an hour. This caused us to be late to our next appointment. I've been going here for many years, and have always noticed that the time it takes for me to get my drinks is probably triple any other boba store, even when there are much less customers. If you order five minutes before someone else does, you somehow get your drinks at the same time that the other person does because they start multitasking and making all of the orders at the same time. This happens even with many other orders after you, so you end up having to wait for them to finish the three orders sfter you even if you order first. Also, all of the workers there have been working there for years. They all know the recipes well, but it still always takes much longer compared to other stores even you're the only one there. Not sure why, because it looks like they prep things like the tea beforehand like other places do. Beware also that if there's barely any grass jelly left, instead of telling you there's no more and offering another topping or refunding you the 65 cents, they scoop up all of the broken down grass jelly that's basically slush that's left at the bottom of their container. Again, i have no idea why they do this. I used to think it's a one time thing, but it's happened countless times at this point The prices also just went up, which I understand due to inflation. But for years they were cheaper than other boba stores and now they have increased their prices to the same as other places. The drinks are decent. But I think the owner or management needs to address these things that have brought down their quality and make them much less competitive against all of the other boba shops in the area read more

I tried the herbal drink with basil seed and grass jelly during their promotion. It was not too sweet and the jelly was nice and soft. The flavor tasted very natural and I would get that drink again. They were pretty busy but drinks were getting made fairly quick. One person was taking orders and the other was making the drinks. I ordered a lychee green tea with rainbow jelly, two taro milk teas with boba, and an aloe Vera lychee. All large so I paid the $.75 up charge. Drinks were good but nothing fancy. This Ding Tea location is such a hit or miss. They lack consistency which tells us that they do not follow the company's recipe. I have been on a Jasmine Milk Tea kick for a little while now, but have not been able to find a location where it is consistent with tea flavoring compare to milk ratio. Recently, my husband wanted to test a theory because all Ding Tea location had noted to us how may serving of milk/creamer is used. We always order one less. So, for this particular visit, my husband ordered one large and one regular size jasmine milk tea with one less creamer. Because of the ratio, you would think the flavor would be potent in tea and less milky. Nope! Instead, what we noticed was them making one batch and just serving it into two cups and putting more ice which made the drinks super watered down and no flavor. Sad to say, even though this location was of convenience and by our house, we won't be returning here has it has been numerous occasions now where it's just an ongoing disappointment. Another Saturday another adventure! This time we ended up at Ding tea twice in one day- don't judge me! Lol Okay so my friend and I stopped by here to get some drinks while on our way to meet some other friends for brunch and a movie. My first time- regular for her. Tucked in a little unassuming shopping center, but don't let the outside deter you. Plenty of parking, spacious little spot with pretty decor! Ambiance 9/10. You can tell they took time and effort on the interior, and the lighting is really great. Service: There are 2 self service stations at the front (see pics) making it quite convenient to peruse and pick items without feeling rushed. In case of items not found- like in my example I decided to go with matcha latte but make it hot. This meant I ordered it directly from one of the cashiers. Customer service was quick and pleasant enough. Drinks: I got the matcha latte hot, and loved it! Perfectly balanced ingredients, hot enough but not excessive so was able to enjoy it. 9.5/10. Food: Okay hear me out, the plan was just drinks, but in our defense we were met by a waft of fragrant delicacies! We succumbed and bought a few "snacks" to munch on the way to lunch lol so we each got an order of popcorn chicken and egg rolls! - 8.5/10 on the food! Fresh, savory and flavorful. I was so happy! Accompanied by two types of dipping sauces to elevate the flavors. Pricing and portions on point, and packed with some bamboo picks for ease of consumption. We ate about half of our food and decided to finish the rest on our drive. Pro tip- enjoy the food while it's hot and fresh! After brunch and the movie on of our friends suggested we grab boba at wait for it- Ding tea lol (we never confessed to stopping there before lunch), so off we went back. Our favorite Ding Tea location! :) They offer a vast variety of teas with a lot of topping. This specific location always makes the drinks perfectly. They follow the adjustments exactly and actually give you a decent amount of boba compared to their other locations. The cashier/bobarista was very nice and they made our drinks very quickly. Their star jelly is very colorful and chewy. The service is fast & employees are nice and friendly. This is a certified Ding Tea in my book. The Bolsa location always hits different! I don't know what it is, but this is one of the best Ding Tea locations I have been to. There are a lot of them these days, but not all of them are good. The past few times I've been to this one though, it has been consistently good. I always order the Jasmine Green Milk Tea. Other places use too much creamer which gives it an off/artificial taste. At this location it is the perfect mix of tea flavor and milkiness. I know Ding Tea isn't really using the highest quality tea and the tea isn't strong by any means, but I enjoy it for what it is. The service is alright, borderline bad. I always come to ding tea just for their matcha milk tea, because unlike other boba shops, it has a strong matcha flavor and doesn't taste just like water with a pinch of matcha powder. However I give this establishment a 3 star because they are pretty inconsistent with their drinks. Some days, the matcha milk tea hits amazing and other days (like today), they'll give me more ice than normal despite me asking for less ice and make a bland matcha milk tea that tastes like a Kirkland water bottle I can buy for 50 cents. Defeats the whole purpose of going to a ding tea if they're just gonna water down their matcha like the other boba shops around here. I never had a problem at other ding tea establishments besides this one on consistency, if it was better, then this would be my regular ding tea spot. read more

He had it on there for a good 30 seconds to find the buttons behind the tv but this is beyond disgusting that this was around prep cups, toppings, and all the stuff to make the drinks. Right after he got off, the girl set my drinks there where his feet were. He almost was gonna jump on the table again with his shoes this time, but saw me and decided to put a knee on the table. I wish I got the photo where his bare feet were but once I whipped on my camera I'm pretty sure he saw me and decided to not go on the table until I left.
