    Coffee Milk Tea
    Jennifer K.

It's easy to get overwhelmed when first walking into SF Supermarket, but there is a lovely boba place on your left hand side. It's next to a little sushi place that hand makes the sushi right in front of you. The menu has tons of options, and there's even more options taped near the register and the pick-up area. I got the Coffee Milk Tea. It tastes exactly how you would expect a Coffee Milk Tea to tastes like. It wasn't anything special. I did stand around for about 5 minutes before an employee came to take my order. However, he was quick with making the drinks. There's no seating because this is inside a supermarket, but it's nice when you want to grab a quick drink after you finish grocery shopping. Plus there usually is no line so it's easy to quickly order and quickly pick up your drink and leave. I would come here again because I enjoy this supermarket. It has tons of snacks, and I get to get myself a little treat after shopping!

My usual order here is the Tapioca Milk Tea. I am sure it is caffeinated, because it keeps me going for a few hours, at least! Located in the inside entrance of Westminster Superstore. You can grab a drink before or after your grocery shopping!

I've only had their taro milk tea here, no boba. I'm not one to usually get taro milk tea anywhere, so I guess I can't really say much as to comparing it to other places. But when my friend got it for me here, I can't seem to stop craving it. It's so creamy and although I know they probably most likely just use taro powder and nothing special, it's just so good... Lol. Maybe I'll have to start trying other taro milk teas elsewhere and compare. Small area in the supermarket. The workers are whateves, they get the order down and drinks made. I would probably go here more if it was more conveniently located and if I even went to this supermarket. I'm down to try the other drinks here, nothing's making me not like this place yet. Haha, for now, just totally into their creamy taro milk tea!

Boba in an asian supermarket... Grabbed some before grocery shopping. I ordered a regular mango green tea with mini boba. It was good but WAY TOO SWEET. I don't understand why many posts say that this place isnt too sweet. It tasted like sugar. VERY VERY SWEET SUGAR. For one regular sized drink with boba, the total was $3.14. Eh, next time I come ima get a different drink.

    Not even full. Sad.

Pretty pricey for boba. Ordered one regular size strawberry banana smoothie with boba and large mango yogurt smoothie with boba for $15. Lady gave me the drinks and it wasn't even full. Pretty bummed. If I'm paying 7.75 for a drink, don't short me. Fill that cup up.

    Lg Peach tea w/boba under $4 w/tax

So yeah I have been on a major boba kick of late. But who can blame me? (thinking the munchkin would want me to say this is boba, and she would reply, WE LOVE IT x2) But the munchkin and I are really enjoying this at least once a week. But just before having gone to the Superman CMYE for OC, I stopped in here to get a boba. It was almost exactly like the boba corner in The Square in Rosemead. Definitely a cheaper boba outlet and located at the entrance to the supermarket. Pro Tip: Cash please =) I got the peach green tea and it had good flavor and chewy tasty boba. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be and under $4 for a large. What more could you ask for? I have no idea, but coupons would be awesome. Overall I will be back here again sometime. It was just what I needed when I got it. I am glad I stopped by here. You should check it out too sometime...

Walking into the shop, you're greeted with a dark gray concrete vibe with plenty of matching decor. They've got some multiroaster vibes too, which means they're slinging beans like Dak, La Cabra, and more! Robusta and Arabica heads can both rejoice! They've also got a nice little patio to just rest and relax at while you enjoy your drinks. I've had a few pretty deep conversations coming out of this place. Okay, even though I did come to a coffee shop, I did end up getting a hojicha latte that was roasty, nutty, and delicious alongside the vanilla notes that they add. Great choice for some of you who don't do so well with caffeine. It's easy to drink, and thoughtfully prepared! I got something a little different. It was a strawberry co-ferment espresso in a cappuccino ratio. You could really taste that strawberry come through, and having it hot and with milk was a perfect choice. Fruity, complex, and funky! Love to see places serving co-ferments. I don't think it's over-played in specialty coffee, and I do appreciate having the option! And, I didn't get it today, but getting a fancy pour-over at this spot really hits. If you coffee sweats like the fun stuff, you'll have plenty of that here! If you're looking for both fun coffee and great day, no doubt you should check out Re Ca Phe!

I ordered the black sesame latte and my bf got the vietnamese coffee. I like how they also 'warn' you about the size, because the size cups are tiny looool The vietnamese coffee especially is very tiny. Despite the size, I know the coffee is gonna hit hard if you're paying for a price of a regular size cup. The coffee is also very dark so you know it's gonna be very strong. I mainly wanted to try the black sesame latte and yep it was pretty good! The cream was veryyy nice and creamy. It definitely is very strong coffee because usually when I have extremely strong coffee, I start to sweat and get a headache, so yes they serve very strong coffee here. Don't let the size fool you. Small but mighty. Something you should also sip than chug. Overall, the coffee is good, but feel like it was just a one time try for me. I do enjoy a bigger size cup cause I feel its more worth it, even if the caffeine hit is as worth, I do enjoy more of the volume and it could be less concentrated. I respect it though! Cashier was nice and friendly.

It wasn't difficult to find a spot to sit at either; outdoor seating and a good number of indoor seating was available for how busy it was at the time. It did get busier later, so I recommend to come earlier than you plan to to find a seat since it is a small store. May have to share a table with someone. The service was good! The cashier who helped me out answered questions I had and helped me pick out the drink. I got the espresso einspanner and it was average. The espresso is pre-batched and sort of had a weird bitter taste you wouldn't expect from coffee. The cream top definitely made it taste better. If they make the espresso latte base the same way without a cream top, I recommend to get a specialty drink or any drink with a cream top. It was kind of expensive for what it is. However, the service and interior outweighed my opinion on the drink, so I didn't think it deserved 4 stars for that. Definitely will come back to study again and try a different drink!!

I did not do any research prior to going here, I know menus change and I just wanted to take it all in. When we arrived it wasn't super busy, the place itself was big, bright, and inviting. The lady who took our order was super nice. I even went back in line to order additional items... We tried: 1. Longanisa burrito: This was surprisingly meaty and not all egg like some places. It was juicy and flavorful. 2. Waffle fries: I don't know why I was originally thinking french toast sticks, but this went perfect with the burrito. 3. Salted cream Vietnamese coffee: Perfect pick me up and it tasted freshly brewed like a pour over 4. Classic egg sando: My cousin and I made room for this fluffy goodness. I've always watched people eating egg sandos on social media and I have yet to try one like this. This was a perfect balance of egg salad ans bread. 5. Corn cheese cookie : I figured my cousin would like this, but I was surprised how you could taste the corn cheese in it. It was consistent throughout. 6. Matcha white chocolate cookie: This one was my favorite. Perfect balance of matcha with the sweetness of white chocolate. 7. Strawberries & Cream cookie: I was surprised that this wasn't overly sweet. 8. Walnut Chocolate Cookie: The walnuts gave the cookie a crunch and balanced out the chocolate goodness. Overall, everything we tried was amazing and I can't wait to come back soon and try the other items they have. I highly recommend this place, and suggest coming early.
