From the reviews I've read about the pricing, every little thing from what I've read on the menu is charged via: Boba, whipped cream, jelly etc, as well as a .50cent charge for debit/credit payments. Aside from that, I'm giving the taro slushy an awesome 5/5, because it's the best bang for your buck over what you get and I believe it was only $5.50 or $6 I don't remember and my photo didn't get the picture. The strawberry tea a 3/5 because it tasted syrupy. This will probably be my new go to spot this slush but I'd probably skip on the milk teas and smoothies as I'm assuming they're syrupy but I will try another time and change my review accordingly. read more

I always noticed this boba place when I shop at this supermarket but had never tried them out before. Stopped by on my way out and ordered the house tea with coconut jelly. Wow! The tea was super bitter. I almost spitted out at first sip but didn't for sanitary reasons. I never had tea that's super bitter like that in my entire life. Even the tea I had in Hong Kong or China or anywhere in the Asia. Very unusual. Hmm. So I told the guy it's too bitter. He offered to thin it out by adding more water. Had another sip after he added water but still bitter. He said I can select another tea? I was afraid the rest would be just as bitter so I asked them (2 guys) if I can take a fresh coconut instead. It's easy to get overwhelmed when first walking into SF Supermarket, but there is a lovely boba place on your left hand side. It's next to a little sushi place that hand makes the sushi right in front of you. The menu has tons of options, and there's even more options taped near the register and the pick-up area. I got the Coffee Milk Tea. It tastes exactly how you would expect a Coffee Milk Tea to tastes like. It wasn't anything special. I did stand around for about 5 minutes before an employee came to take my order. However, he was quick with making the drinks. There's no seating because this is inside a supermarket, but it's nice when you want to grab a quick drink after you finish grocery shopping. Plus there usually is no line so it's easy to quickly order and quickly pick up your drink and leave. I would come here again because I enjoy this supermarket. Got the butter fly milk tea from this place and it could be one of the worst boba I've ever tasted in my life. $6.25 (maybe $6.5 i don't rmb) total for large size with pearls ($0.5) and $0.5 card fee. I told the woman to make it not too sweet and when she brought it to me to check if I'm ok with that sweetness and I said it was too sweet. She then brought it away to add more water or sth I guess because you can't call this thing boba, it literally tasted like water + sugar and maybe dye. I tried this on my way home and I swear I think she added 20 tbs of sugar in there, I waited for over 30mins for the ice to melt and added more than half of the boba cup water then tried again it was still sickly sweet. read more

I ordered a barley milk tea but the cashier made me a barley chocolate one. She had long hair and I found one inside the plastic seal of my drink after I had already tasted it, eww. The drink gave me a headache, probably from the flavoring or sweetener. They use roasted barley. I've had a good drink and then I've had a bad drink. The bad drink was the Star Fruit. Yes, I ordered it because the name was appealing even though I had no clue how star fruit slushy would taste like. Trust me, you wouldn't want to know either. It is the most bizarre drink I've tasted... the only thing close to the taste of this drink would be the Vietnamese plum soda drink.. .but a slushy one. LOL. However, really try the Jasmine Milk Tea. Why spend 6+ dollars on shaved ice at dessert places when you could get good stuff for under 5 bucks at your local Vietnamese market? (This review is mainly for their shaved ice bowls.) A friend of ours shared Combo 4 with us one time, and it was surprisingly really good! Very reminiscent of the Filipino dessert "halo-halo." We had to order it again the next time we did some shopping. That time, I looked at the menu more thoroughly and decided I'd try more stuff later on. I came across "Eco," fell in love, and decided it would be my usual. It was a reasonably sized bowl enough for two people to share all under $4. It had chia seeds, egg pudding, boba, and a small assortment of jelly, with just the right level of sweetness. I could not believe how cheap and good it was! I highly recommend it. Small boba place inside the Vietnamese supermarket. I always end up getting a drink whenever I come to this supermarket since I don't come here often. Buy a drink and go grocery shopping at the same time! Order at the counter, number will be called, and your drink will be at the pick up counter. I usually just get the Icy Slush's which are $2.50 for a regular size. I've tried their lemon, passion fruit, and strawberry slushies. I know it's an "Icy" slush so it should be icy right? But it's too too icy for me. Take a couple sips and then you have to wait until the ice melts. Service is okay. The boba had a good chewy texture that was neither too hard (as it it was refrigerated) or soggy (as if it had been sitting there all day). The taste was pretty spot on of what I look for in boba too, a cassava taste with a hint of something that almost like caramel. I will definitely come here again. read more

Very short review alert! Came by this area to get some skin ointments (which I needed to yelp this place sometime soon) and decided that it was a hot day and needing me some Boba! The drink itself is awesome because it not the powder taro flavoring that you come to expect, but instead, small chunks of taro can be found traced inside the icy drink! Yumminess Maximus! And the regular Boba has gotten old to me so these mini ones are great! To me they are more tastier and more fun to drink! Yes, yes, yes. This boba place is inside of a Vietnamese grocery store. But I haven't found any other place who can make my favorite boba drink as well. STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE WITH BOBA. Boba corner really knows how to make this drink. Not only is this smoothie delicious and perfect no matter what kind of weather, the boba has a great soft texture and actually has a good flavor! Their standard milk tea is also great! Upside: it's in a grocery store, so you can go get some shopping down while sipping on your drank. Downside: like most asian grocery stores, it's got a funky smell. Also, if you crave boba and want to take a friend, there's no where to sit - maybe borrow some outside tables from its neighbor's Lee's sandwiches? This is my go-to boba place. read more

I'm a boba lover, I would try boba anywhere and have been on a quest for good boba. Let's just say I'm now a regular at Boba Corner 2. I go weekly to get my usual Large Jasmine Milk Tea with boba or the Lichy Slushy with boba. Most places makes their milk tea too sweet or their boba too plain or hard to chew. This place makes the boba sweet, soft to chew and milk tea just perfect to the taste bud. I did thought it was weird to have such a good boba place located inside a supermarket. If you don't shop at that Asian supermarket you'll never see this place. It's so hidden. The taste is worth the search compared to most boba places I've tasted. Too bad it's CASH ONLY! Finally get around to write a review for my favorite boba place after using Yelp for so long. Located inside of Thuan Phat Supermarket which I frequently shop every weekend for grocery. So stopping by here is pretty much my treat for the week since I live a good 30 minutes away. Somehow, the boba here always come out perfect for me, just the right texture, softness and chewiness. I have on occasion bought an extra drink to bring home and keep it refrigerated to drink the next day (sealed of course), and somehow the boba STILL manage to stay soft and good... that's a sign of good boba for me!!! Boba at other places would have turn hard even after a couple of hours already. My go-to drinks are the cappuchino smoothies, almond milk tea, and jasmine milk tea and they all are good so far. I tried the honeydew milk tea and coconut milk tea once, but these turned out a little too sweet for my taste. Maybe I'll be adventurous one day and try something new :) read more
