Coffee Milk Tea
Jennifer K.

It's easy to get overwhelmed when first walking into SF Supermarket, but there is a lovely boba place on your left hand side. It's next to a little sushi place that hand makes the sushi right in front of you. The menu has tons of options, and there's even more options taped near the register and the pick-up area. I got the Coffee Milk Tea. It tastes exactly how you would expect a Coffee Milk Tea to tastes like. It wasn't anything special. I did stand around for about 5 minutes before an employee came to take my order. However, he was quick with making the drinks. There's no seating because this is inside a supermarket, but it's nice when you want to grab a quick drink after you finish grocery shopping. Plus there usually is no line so it's easy to quickly order and quickly pick up your drink and leave. I would come here again because I enjoy this supermarket. It has tons of snacks, and I get to get myself a little treat after shopping!

My usual order here is the Tapioca Milk Tea. I am sure it is caffeinated, because it keeps me going for a few hours, at least! Located in the inside entrance of Westminster Superstore. You can grab a drink before or after your grocery shopping!

I've only had their taro milk tea here, no boba. I'm not one to usually get taro milk tea anywhere, so I guess I can't really say much as to comparing it to other places. But when my friend got it for me here, I can't seem to stop craving it. It's so creamy and although I know they probably most likely just use taro powder and nothing special, it's just so good... Lol. Maybe I'll have to start trying other taro milk teas elsewhere and compare. Small area in the supermarket. The workers are whateves, they get the order down and drinks made. I would probably go here more if it was more conveniently located and if I even went to this supermarket. I'm down to try the other drinks here, nothing's making me not like this place yet. Haha, for now, just totally into their creamy taro milk tea!

Mango green tea

Boba in an asian supermarket... Grabbed some before grocery shopping. I ordered a regular mango green tea with mini boba. It was good but WAY TOO SWEET. I don't understand why many posts say that this place isnt too sweet. It tasted like sugar. VERY VERY SWEET SUGAR. For one regular sized drink with boba, the total was $3.14. Eh, next time I come ima get a different drink.

Not even full. Sad.

Pretty pricey for boba. Ordered one regular size strawberry banana smoothie with boba and large mango yogurt smoothie with boba for $15. Lady gave me the drinks and it wasn't even full. Pretty bummed. If I'm paying 7.75 for a drink, don't short me. Fill that cup up.

Lg Peach tea w/boba under $4 w/tax

So yeah I have been on a major boba kick of late. But who can blame me? (thinking the munchkin would want me to say this is boba, and she would reply, WE LOVE IT x2) But the munchkin and I are really enjoying this at least once a week. But just before having gone to the Superman CMYE for OC, I stopped in here to get a boba. It was almost exactly like the boba corner in The Square in Rosemead. Definitely a cheaper boba outlet and located at the entrance to the supermarket. Pro Tip: Cash please =) I got the peach green tea and it had good flavor and chewy tasty boba. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be and under $4 for a large. What more could you ask for? I have no idea, but coupons would be awesome. Overall I will be back here again sometime. It was just what I needed when I got it. I am glad I stopped by here. You should check it out too sometime...

I've had better, but this place satisfies my milk tea cravings for a cheap price. Great selection, fast service. The pearls are perfect.

Great customer service and best boba drinks all around in my opinion. Been coming here since I was young with my family.

A (coffee?) stained curtain. Cafe employees watching Netflix after they serve you. I'm genuinely convinced this is intentional, It reminds me of a simpler time like going over to a friend's place and hanging out in their living room. I had a matcha affogato and my partner had an immortality tea. Both delicious and served with a genuine smile. Definitely a different experience and I'm grateful for it. 5/5 this place is based.

She actually said, "Oh sorry, the lid isn't closed all the way. I tried to seal it twice but it wasn't working. I hope that's okay." It's definitely not okay when we have no other choice in the matter! Aside from the messy packaging, the drink was way too bitter. I really wasn't a fan. 1/10 Vibes - I want to touch on what the inside of the business looks like because... wow, it was jarring. It felt like I walked into some dude's basement. Mismatched curtains everywhere, 2 fish tanks that were straight up brown and green and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a yr, and sus couches just scattered around for no reason. There were cat treats sitting out too which was confusing because apparently there's a cat there?? There were like, 12 dudes sitting there and all watching whatever anima thing was playing on the tv. Absolutely not my vibe at all, but clearly it's catering to a very specific demographic. Cost - $7.65

Their costs are on the pricier side for boba, especially in Westmin where I feel like there are a lot of options for boba, but the service was very lovely and the drinks were yummy. The interior was what really wowed me though. They have a lot of bunny themed decor, and a lot of really beautiful wood grain items to decorate. Aiyu Cha is also located conveniently inside of a grander shopping plaza, so we got our boba and walked around (there's a Daiso and H-Mart nearby, as well). I got their peach green tea with boba, and my boyfriend got their tiramisu milk tea with boba. Again, no complaints on the flavor or anything, it was just on the pricier side of milk teas/teas that I'm usually comfortable paying for. That being said, I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area!

I noticed that the menu and decor changed since my last visit so I'm almost positive that it had a change of owner between my old visit and my most recent one. What a shame because I was hyping up the drink to my friend and it doesn't have the same taste anymore. I used to make it a point to stop by when I'm in the area... Service wise, nothing to note; there is a self-service or you can order with a person. Place is clean and I was greeted with a smile.

The boba was chewy and soft enough in the tea latte but quickly harden in an hour so I have to finish it quick. I was more impressed with the matcha because they really used ceremonial matcha and this tasted much better than at multiple cafe nearby. I will prefer this in a smaller size because it's hard for me to finish all in one seating. It might seem a bit pricey but given the size, it's all worth the price. Order is done using a self-order kiosk so it's very convenient. Parking is easy to find as well. Some visits are perfect, others the drink tastes slightly different or the experience just feels off. Nothing deal-breaking but enough to notice. Wish there were a bit more spots to sit down but it's still modern and clean. Still a solid spot and I keep coming back, so that says enough.
