My wife is a vegetarian so she loves the vegan chicken dishes here (not because they taste anything like chicken). I like some of their more traditional Chinese dishes too. Definitely a solid spot to get takeout from.

I would highly recommend this place, I ordered the wor wonton soup, it had an amazing flavor and didn't need anything other than some siracha to spice it up, so yummy. I also got a side of white rice which was super fluffy. The shrimp was the best part of the soup aside from the broth!! The customer service was also really great, I went on my lunch and I really love the vibe in there.

I was looking for a cheat Thursday night meal and found what I was looking for! I was looking for a no-frills, cozy spot with a surprisingly extensive variety of vegan and vegetarian options, Ding How Restaurant did not disappoint. Service is good and the food came out at a timely manner. This small, family-run spot may not be fancy, but what it lacks in ambiance, it more than makes up for in quality and value. The menu is impressively diverse, with a separate section dedicated entirely to vegetarian and vegan dishes, making it easy to find something that suits your dietary preferences. The food is consistently good. Despite its humble setting, Ding How delivers dishes that are satisfying and comforting. Overall, I think Ding How Restaurant is a great choice for those seeking tasty vegan and vegetarian options in a casual, laid-back environment. It's a go-to spot for a quick, delicious meal with a vegan and carnivore, that won't cost you much but will leave you completely satisfied.

It's good if you are bringing non Chinese friends as it is cheap with nice decor, friendly service, and food comes out in a reasonable amount of time even when they have many take out orders. Also more vegetarian dishes than I expected. Solid food for price, although tends to be too sweet. Has a "take out taste" to it that I'm not sure how to describe. If you are Chinese missing this type of food, I think it is familiar enough to quench your homesickness.

Lunch special is a good deal. They did not have brown rice the day we were there for lunch. They have lots of vegetable options on the menu. They were quite busy at Saturday lunch. The veggies were fresh and cooked well which I appreciated.

The staff were really friendly, and the food was also great. The room was also really nice and clean.

The amount of vegan options are amazing! I recommend getting the combination platter as it comes with soup, a spring roll, rice, and chow mein. The vegan honey walnut shrimp was BUSSIN! One of the best vegan shrimps I have had. The vegan sesame chicken was meh...it was chewy and squishy. Overall good pricing, options, soup and service! Will be coming back!

Mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice, wor wonton soup. An old friend mentioned how good Ding How was and the first time I purchased food was AMAZING. It still is delicious! The MB is super tender, sauce is amazing, and onions have the perfect crunch & sweetness. The shrimp fried rice has so much flavor it's good by itself as well as the wor wonton soup, the broth is so good. I highly recommend going to Ding How. Total for these family plates was $50 including 1 Dr. Pepper When we walked in there wasn't anyone there and it was super peaceful. The guy who served us was kind and didn't interrupt us excessively.

Can't believe it took me this long to write a review for My Burma. Long overdue. The food is excellent and I keep coming back. A few dishes worth calling out specifically: the Tea Leaf Salad, Sesame Chicken, Coconut Rice, and the Pad Thai. Haven't been able to get to anything else on return trips. One note if you're a heat seeker -- the Pad Thai doesn't get very spicy, even when requested. I like extreme heat, so factor that in accordingly. Most people will find it perfectly seasoned. On my last visit I tried the black rice pudding with ice cream. Don't skip it if dessert is on your radar. Dogs are welcome on the patio, which is a great perk. One thing to be aware of: the gate can be a little tricky to navigate -- something to keep in mind if you or anyone in your group has mobility challenges. My Burma has my business. Highly recommend.

I always go for the butter chicken, medium spicy, and it is so good. The flavor is rich, perfectly spiced, and just hits every time. I also get their garlic naan, which pairs perfectly with the sauce. I usually end up spending around 24 dollars when I add extra rice and garlic naan to the butter chicken, but honestly, it is so worth it. The portions are really generous. It is easily the size of two meals in one, so you can definitely save some for the next day. I have not tried any other Indian food spots in Davis, and to be honest, I do not really feel the need to because this place is just that good. Whether I get it to go or sit down with friends and family, the experience is always great. They are very quick with their service, and even when I order ahead, the food is still hot and ready to go when I pick it up. Overall, this is a spot I will keep going back to. Yang Kee Dumpling is located in a small strip mall, equipped with plenty of parking, and EV chargers. When arrived it wasn't too busy, and the hostess showed me to my table. In front of my table was where the staff was making dumplings (they were behind glass). After looking at the menu, I opted to get some traditional soup dumplings, bbq pork fried rice, and pineapple bao buns for dessert. My server was Bing and she was nice and efficient. She came back to check on me a few times throughout my dining experience. My fried rice came out first. It was a LARGE serving of fried rice, it of course had eggs, carrots, peas, and BBQ pork. It was flavorful. Next came out the soup dumplings. They were brought out in a steamer basket with a top to keep them warm. These were amazing. The light and delicate dough, mixed with the savory pork filling, and the salty broth was perfection. Next came out my pineapple bao buns. To be honest, I wasn't sure how I was going to like them. To my surprise these may have been the star of the show. The dough was light and sweet, the top was carmelized and sweet, and the custard inside reminded me of a Dole Whip from disney (exept it wasn't cold, it was warm). These were pretty large and I'm semi embarrassed to admint I had 2 3/4 bao buns myself. Go here. It's delicious.

We had the seafood tofu hotpot, shrimp wonton, garlic green bean, mongolian beef, half hainan chicken, and ny steak spaghetti to-go. Was a little busy at 7 on a holiday so we waited like ten minutes to get our order in, the guy memorized our order right as I said it lol. He confirmed and we got our soup in ten mins, ten mins for green beans and mongolian beef, another ten minutes for our chicken, then like seven for hotpot. Most disappointing was chicken, it's not hainan at all and just standard hong kong white chicken. Taste is fine and fresh but was sad. Best was the seafood hotpot AND the wonton soup. Both had great flavor and saltiness and was just sooo good. Wontons were very tasty and had a lot of meat, definitely both pork and shrimp, and soup even had little shrimp in it ifkyk. The seafood hotpot had great variety and flavor, my parents were pleased with the fish bits in it, the tofu was yummy bc it's fried tofu, the crab texture was not great maybe overcooked and I didn't like the soft cucumber but otherwise the broccoli scallop shrimp tofu fish bok choy was all great. Green beans and mongolian beef SERIOUSLY needed some wok flavor and wish the beef had black pepper because the seasoning was a bit lacking (wok flavor would be great here) and overall the vegetables were a little undercooked. They were addictive though I definitely kept going back for more. Hot tea is jasmine tea. Service was a bit lackluster but totally understandable and even though I was in a rush we were in and out by an hour and like ten minutes which worked. Ambiance wise, I didn't like how the lights are half brighter and whiter than the sun and half nicely softly lit. Tables are nice wood and a bit sticky but okay. There's random Chinese TV on the walls, very traditional lol and I think no music. Overall very pleased! Will definitely come back as much as possible to support, and highly highly recommend. I went harsh on Tim's because I was expecting perfect dishes, and even though some stuff didn't hit, everything was way beyond average.

Handing me the packed to-go container, I immediately noticed its heft. There was a lot of food crammed in there. As soon as I was back in my room, I peeled open the lid to get at the goodies inside.
