The food is just amazing !! You get all the delicious food .. sea food , meat , veg , salads , rice , drinks , pizza , pasta , amazing desserts .. u just name it and it is there . Very clean and kid friendly environment . The only sad part was we were the last once before closing and the whole left over food was trashed .. wish they have tie up with some ngos to feed the needy. I know it is easier said then done . But hope someone takes an initiative . read more

The food...excellent! The service...excellent! The table and decor...excellent. The ceiling over my head...not so good! I see black mold overhead where there's been water leaks. I would encourage the staff to pay attention to this detail and have this resolved immediately. The response of management and their plan to fix the ceiling is reassuring. My family loves coming to eat here! They have things labeled well for my gluten intolerant child. this place SLAPS. this place goes hard. are you a fan of halal guys?? then you'll love this place. because it's basically infinite halal guys for $25. and the meat selection just goes hard. my only complaint about it is that there's no lamp keeping it warm so the meat is kind of cold. the best freaking part about this place is the unlimited pita bread. oh man if you get the pita bread while it's hot it's heavenly. id sell my ear for warm pita bread. it's the little things. not much to comment on the service, since it's a buffet. they are pretty prompt with picking up your empty plate from your table, which is a plus because you'll definitely wanna fast for the day and gorge yourself on six or seven plates of food. ambiance-wise it was nice-- well decorated, warm lights, plenty of seating and not too crowded. there are two wobbly tables in the corner, though. so watch out. pictured is my boyfriend's plate full of dessert and the little hummus platter I made for myself with fresh pita bread. hella recommend read more

Here for Dinner with a Friend on Wednesday Night and it was a decent Experience. There is a decent crowd with ample space to maintain required distance. Paid for the buffet($15 with Tax) at the counter when we entered and straight to the counters to pick the food. Y'all know I am about value, so of course I am going to love this place haha. Atmosphere - 4/5 - Large eating place. You go in line, you pay, you go sit and then you go to the buffet lines. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and funny. I enjoyed chatting with the owner/workers. Food - Amazing. - Hummus/Dips - 5/5 - So many different varieties. I was actually using the hummus as dipping sauces themselves. - Lamb Shank - 5/5 - By request. It is so tender it falls right off the bone. I ate a couple of these. You definitely will need to try this. - Lamb Gyro meat - 5/5 - Who doesn't love gyros??? I am not huge on Mediterranean desserts (baklava etc), but they have a small selection. Overall, this is a great place to eat Mediterranean food and since it is a buffet, you cannot beat the value and food quality. read more

This place is great. They offer a buffet style Mediterranean spread with a large selection of savory and sweet items. You pay as you get in and the pricing is very reasonable. We paid for $18 / person for lunch on a weekday. My favorite was their lamb gyro and the cauliflower. I would highly recommend. read more

This is one of the best Mediterranean buffets in the metro area. We went from our work including vegetarian friends and everybody loved it. They have plenty of choices you can choose from. Even vegetarians have a lot of dishes to choose from seasoned potatoes, fried cauli flowers, okra, falafel spinach etc. Everything looked fresh and healthy. I loved the lamb, fried chicken, fried cauli flowers, fresh pita and hummus. The buffet includes a drink. The restaurant looked fresh and clean. The buffet line were tidy and checked consistently by staffs to make sure they are full and clean. You must try once if you like Mediterranean food. read more

I've been to Dimassi's in Irving several times for lunch and loved it, so I decided to introduce a buddy to Dimassi's and there is one near me in Plano, so I decided to give it a shot on a Saturday night. Upon entering we were confused. There was nobody on staff anywhere near the door, no signs with direction. We just stood there for awhile until a patron told us to just grab a plate, fill it up and find a table. There is quite a bit more options at this location. Not sure if it was because it was dinner or what, but man what a great buffet for a reasonable price. I absolutely loved the variety. Now on to what I didn't like. I don't blame the restaurant, I blame the patrons. This place was a madhouse. I'm not sure if it's just different cultures have different parenting styles, but I'll never go back to any Dimassi's for dinner. There were so many kids just running up and down the isles screaming, crying, laughing, falling, pushing each other. Everyone was just ignoring them like this was normal. I couldn't get out of that place quick enough. I was angry at all of these parents for allowing their children to treat the restaurant as a playground. If you don't enjoy screaming children running by you as you eat, skip this place on Saturday evenings for sure. I know I will. This is a lunch only spot for me from now on. read more

I don't expect service in a buffet place, but the manager(owner?) didn't even make eye contact or say a word to us while paying- just stayed on the phone and shooed us away. Food was abysmal at best- Proteins were all either extremely salty or bland. I've had better at college cafeterias. read more

This is probably my favorite Mediterranean buffet in the north Dallas/Plano area. Never leave unsatisfied. There's a great selection of meats including chicken, kebabs, beef, and fish. Plenty of veggies like green beans and eggplant or you can head to the salad bar or try their 3-4 different types of hummus. I especially like the garlic sauce with my gyro meat. They have a few desserts, including baklava, of course, rice pudding and some type of flan/custard thing which was good, too. Occasionally they run of out food on the buffet, but never fear, there will be some fresh on the way. You won't have to wait long. At least it's call cooked fresh, over the grill. Although the buffet area looks like a cafeteria, the dining area is relaxed and I like the decor. While this maybe isn't the biggest buffet out there, you're not going to go hungry or be disappointed. read more

This is my favorite place ever for the best Mediterranean food! They take Covid precautions seriously and have a wide-open dining area. Super clean and amazing service. The flavors and freshness are amazing! They offer a great variety of food options including fresh hummus, salads, vegan/ vegetarian, fish and meat dishes, pastas, soups and desserts. Prices are very reasonable considering the great quality. All food is fresh and hot temperature-wise. There's really something for everyone. I've been to a lot of Mediterranean restaurants over the years in DFW and major cities such as LA and NYC and to me, this place is hands-down my favorite for the amazing quality and value. I've been around 20 times now and it never disappoints! The manager/ attendant at the front, Jordan, is super nice and always very welcoming. They go above and beyond in their level of service and making guests feel welcomed and safe during Covid. You can't beat Dimassi's and it's become one of my DFW favorites! read more

We have been to a few Dimassi's in different locations and I found that this location which I came today for my first time had the best reviews on Yelp. That's why we came here to try out. The food was very fresh which was the best part of today's experience. Dimassi's don't have a lots of selections of their dishes but it is good enough to satisfy your cravings for meats, seafoods, vegetables, as well as drinks and desserts. I have been to the Richardson location several times before but this location is much nicer and I prefer the setup of this restaurant better. I came for dinner with my husband and it was $13.85 per person. Very decently priced for a Mediterranean buffet! They have all the typical Mediterranean food items you can think of and I particularly enjoyed the wide variety of hummus selections, various dips, and their salad options to choose from. They also have a variety of veggie and meat options and you can also order a lamb shank on request. The lamb shank was super tender and fell off the bone. Definitely try it out! Their lamb gyro meat was also very delicious and tender. They also had a few dessert selections to choose from including baklava, which was good. The only downside to this place was their pita bread. It was super small and doughy inside as I prefer them to be larger and a little bit more dry and crisp. Overall, solid spot for a Mediterranean bigger without breaking the bank and it's great for both lunch and dinner options. read more

The location was very clean and the dining area was spacious. The buffet was tremendously well maintained and clean. Many options of food, humus, salad and other items. We went there for a work lunch and I was extremely impressed with the food and the atmosphere. All you can eat, so if you leave hungry, it will your fault. The myriad options are seemingly endless, ranging from multiple humus varieties, all the way through gyro, fish, roasted aubergines, salads, and a panoply of other dishes. And, lest you be nonplussed by the vast quantities of comestibles vying for position on your plate, a missive is stationed above each bin to identify what you are preparing to eat. The seating arrangements are pleasant and the restaurant offers expansive dining rooms, making an excellent environment. Also, because of the self-serve nature of this establishment, the dining experience is entirely tailored to your dietary preferences/needs. ALLEN LOCATION REVIEW. (There was no Allen location available when I searched). So, obviously when you go to a Buffett, for me, I envision soggy food, cold food, scary food! food poisoning. Dimassis was PHENOMENAL! Fresh food, plenty and tons of variety. The quality of the food was absolutely amazing. Something for everyone, even my picky 6 yo. The lady at the cash register was such a pleasant, young, very sweet young woman, she helped me get some hot fresh naan bread, to make hot Gyro's. I had been procrastinating going here, due to buffets giving me the creeps, even pre covid. But If you love a wide variety of clean eating, fresh food, this is the place for you! Food is good but service is a bit awkward. So is the environment. Bathrooms are clean and well appointed. I never disliked what I ate, I just felt like it was a weird vibe there. My spouse loves it and my kiddo enjoys everything. Rose water and deserts are a fav. Tea is lovely. Their lamb is fatty which I didn't like. Too much oil. Recommend with reservations. YMMV read more

WOW I must say that I'm usually a person that steers far away from buffets because the food quality and cleanliness of most of them. I pass by this place all the time going to Home Goods and always ignore it, but yesterday my mom convinced me that we should go. I'm so glad we tried it! Soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and I immediately noticed how clean and live the place was. Great energy. Literally all of food was freshly made and didn't appear to be sitting out all day! Tons fresh/ raw vegetable dishes, cooked veggies and a variety of meats. I'm vegan, so this places workout out perfect! So many vegan options ! Make sure you try the Tamarind Tea! DELICIOUS. I will be back ! Went here for the first time for lunch today and all I can say is WOW! The quality for a buffet is outstanding! One order of lamb shank elsewhere easily costs as much as one adult price at the buffet and they give you one per person here! What a phenomenal deal! The highlights for me were absolutely the baba ganoush, hummus, dolmas, beef and lamb gyro Slices, the various dips, lamb shank, curry chicken, and the cucumber and cabbage salad. The dolmas were so freaking fresh I stuffed my face with 4 of them in one sitting! Clearly, they do some items far better than others. I would pass on the lamb kofta *sp, the lentil soup, all the desserts other than the baklava, and I wasn't a fan of the green beans. That being said there are plenty of meats, veggies, salads and dips I didn't get a chance to try because I had to tap out early in a food coma. The staff were courteous and helpful and the restaurant was spacious and clean as was the restroom. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

Went to the Plano location. Impressed with how focused they are on keeping their customers well and safe. Staff is wonderfully friendly, answers requests with a smile, makes you feel like family! All that and fantastic food, too! My favorite tabbouleh in town! I mostly eat veggies/salad, and all 3 flavors of hummus...but can never leave there without having a Gyro (or 2) w/ the perfect Pita! Yummy falafel, decadent baklava. If you don't know whether to leave a tip on your table, there is a (subtle) jar (tips split among all) by the register to reward the folks who keep your table clean between your 2, 3, or more plate refill trips. Can you bring your own alcohol beverage?

Unfortunately, alcohol beverages are not allowed inside the restaurant.

In one of the pictures I saw a sign that said "take all you want but eat all you take" and there was a sur charge per lb. Does that mean you get to take what you don't eat home at that charge?

I didn't see anyone enforcing this rule. Also, I didn't see boxes for "to-go". The food was delicious and I'd recommend checking them out. Just don't be wasteful and you'll be just fine. :)

Nobody knows what a lamp shank is.

Yes. Most Mediterranean vegetarian food is also vegan. Stuffed grape leaves, hummus, tabbouleh, fattoush, etc. Just don't eat the items with feta cheese like the Greek salad.

Our most recent trip the complementary iced tea tasted a bit funky but the kofta meatballs were tender and juicy and the spicy rice packed a punch. Always love the complementary pita bread as well.
