I am not the biggest person when it comes to buffets, but I will be returning to this buffet! Such good arabi/mediterranean food! Been on the hunt for tasty arabi food since moving to Austin and this is the place! It's clean and self serve which makes it easy for casual days. The chicken, kefta and kabob are so good and prepared fresh. Definitely must get the cauliflower as well! They even serve mansaf depending on the day and time. It tastes as good as the photos look.

Moving clockwise: Greek salad, cabbage salad, hummus, avocado hummus, Baba Ghanoush, tabouli, fattoush, & a stuffed grape leaf in the middle

I'm not usually a buffet person but Dimassi's is the one place I'll make an exception because they have delicious food, it's clean, and it's reasonable priced. Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet always has a special place in my heart because they were one of the few places we could find open during the snow and ice storm in February of 2021 that shut down Austin (we were visiting from out of town and were stuck with no food). This was our first visit back after 3 years since moving here and loved it just as much! You pay on the way out so you're able to walk in and join the buffet line right away! There's plenty of hand sanitizer available and you get a fresh plate with each visit. They didn't come by to collect used plates from our table but we were also there not too long before closing. The pricing varies depending on the day and time you visit but even the most expensive pricing on Friday and weekend nights is reasonable at $23.99 per person for all you can eat with the appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks. Here are some of my favorite items: Pita bread (thicker than most traditional pita breads which I LOVE) Baba Ghanouge Avocado hummus Rice with lentils Cauliflower Lemon potatoes Gyro meat (use a pita to make a gyro with the cucumber mint yogurt sauce... so good!) Baklava (I usually don't love baklava because it's so sweet but this one was great) If you want a great selection of Mediterranean food and the ability to indulge in as much as you want, you can't beat Dimassi's! I already can't wait to go back and will continue to recommend it to others.

Buffet deliciousness!!!

Great place. All the food was fresh and very good. There were a lot of protein, vegetable and fruit options. A drink was included with the buffet. The owner was actively participating in running the business, not just telling people what to do. My elderly mother came with us (a group of 9) but wasn't feeling good. I asked if she could get the childrens menu, or maybe something ala carte to hold her over. The owner said, "it was on the house tonight." Wow. We definitely felt welcomed and enjoyed everything about our dining experience.

Prior Receipt with pricing per lb. Now they want to charge Falafel by piece. Ridiculous!

We used to like this place, but under the new management, everything has gone south. - Place has become filthy with sticky tables, flies over the food, odor in restaurant, and felt very unhygienic. - Pricing for boxed food changes on day-to-day basis. Few days ago, they were charging $9.99/lb,then became $12.99/lb, today pricing was on a piece basis. I even showed them their receipt from last week and the person at the counter said that last 2 times their staff made a mistake and now we have to pay higher price. - Staff indicated that Falafel are made in the same oil as other meat dishes which I didn't appreciate. Suffice to say that I would not recommend Dimassis to anybody. I would rather go to Almarah Grill on 620 and 183.

Mediterranean. Buffet. What a concept - but Dimassi's surprised me in a good way. The short: All you can eat pretty solid Mediterranean food for $19.47 (plus tip) - an excellent deal. No, it's not the fanciest facility, but yes the value is there. The highlights: there's a whole buffet dedicated to accompaniments, another for meat / entree, and one for desserts. This is a great place if you are following an eating plan like keto but still want to eat a lot of food. The hummus & garlic dips were incredible. The meats that I had were all mostly good. The baklava was decent, a little sugar forward. The rose water was interesting (like drinking what potpourri smells like but sweet?). Worth the price. The non-highlights: the parking lot is a little hard to find. the bathrooms are not super well maintained. not every food item is great (didn't love every dip, some of the veggies were still a bit raw...but others were cooked well and had a nice char in the same container, the pasta hadn't been refreshed in a bit so it was cold). The ice machine ran out of ice at the end of our meal. They didn't have the lamb shanks (but to be fair, it was a Wednesday night). Glad I got to try this, and would go back for the price or garlic dip alone

Haven't changed at all, but I feel like 3 stars is a bit harsh. Food is good, it's a family business...you should check it out.

Also had a Fresa Paloma with Socorro Reposado Tequila, Contratto, strawberry, lime, grapefruit, five-spice that was very sweet and garnished with a flower. You are given a card where you can mark your dim sum selections. I ordered the Shrimp Pancake, Snow Crab Ball and Chinese Sausage Sticky Rice. The standout was the shrimp pancake that had a really great texture and flavor. The snow crab ball had a strange texture with shrimp surrounding the snow crab claw. The Chinese Sticky Rice is always a favorite. Also ordered the Truffle Egg Fried rice and Birds Nest with Seasonal Vegetable. The Truffle rice is so flavorful like a flavor explosion in your mouth. The Birds Nest is made with fried potato shreds which contain the a variety of vegetables including cauliflower, peppers, mushrooms and asparagus. The nest is also edible and has a crunchy texture. The presentation of the food is amazing and everything came out hot and fresh. The flavors were on point, and you can tell there's attention to detail in the preparation. Service was attentive outdoors and the pacing of dishes felt just right for a relaxed brunch. This restaurant is truly a gem whether you come for brunch or dinner service. Will definitely be back.

The flavors were spot on and delicious. The only challenge we had was that they would not allow split checks or at least partially split checks - so we spend a huge amount of time figuring out what everyone owed. I wouldn't do a large group here in the future, but I'd definitely come back for a date or small group.

Got the Khuroos E Tursh - would recommend! The cream sauce was sweet and delicious. I LOVED the rice that came with the dishes - it already had some flavor and the texture was similar to Thai broken rice. Naan is a great value - 4 pieces for $5. Ordered the Jalapeño cream cheese naan and it had a generous portion of cream cheese inside. However it wasn't spicy which I was expecting - the jalapeño pieces just tasted like bell peppers but it needed a kick of spice. I would try the palak paneer naan next time instead. We were too full for dessert but the options sounded quite tasty. Something was cracked us up a bit was that their straws don't sit in the glasses well - they kept rising to the top of our waters Service was great but it just took a little time for them to set up our table after our reservation time.

Lent is a 40-day period of spiritual preparation for Easter, beginning on Ash Wednesday (symbolizing the need for repentance) and ending before Easter. Its main goals are reflection, repentance, and renewal. After observing Lent, our treat was brunch at Ciclo (Four Seasons Hotel). Ciclo hosted Easter Brunch and an Easter Egg hunt including the hotel's lake-level ballroom. The celebration included live music and lawn activities for hotel and brunch guests. The brunch included a cold buffet, hot buffet, carving station, benedict station, and dessert buffet. You also could order customized omelets from your table. Ciclo's brunch features gluten-free and vegetarian choices. OMG...the Four Season's Hotel and Ciclo restaurant looked as though a lush bright flowered garden had been quietly grown there. Flowers spilled over every surface from the hotel's entrance to the Ciclo restaurant out onto the patio. The floral arrangements were stunning. They also served as a beautiful backdrop for photos. In addition, we ran into ole friends at brunch, which was a pleasant surprise. The standout for us was the lamb chops (one of my favorites) and callosal-sized shrimp. The sweet potatoes and ham were memorable as well with perfectly spiced sweet potatoes. All desserts were good today, however, the Oreo cheesecake and sugar cookies were the highlights. Our server was so attentive and pleasant. Also, Abribal, the restaurant manager, came over to inquire about dining experience. Such excellent service... Dining a Ciclo today was superb! There's both indoor and outdoor seating in this small but mighty shop, and thankfully the tables turn over quickly so you shouldn't have trouble settling down once you get your food!

I love how people are giving this place a 1 star because they are popular and the line is long sometimes, I mean come one so stupid. This place is small and it's amazing how they can crank out as much bbq as they do. It's impressive. I got almost to the front of the line around 1230pm and they were already almost out of ribs, so go early. I got a 1/2lb of Brisket, 1/4lb of turkey, 3 bones of ribs, and one link of the jalapeño cheddar sausage, my side I did was potato salad. I'll give my honest review down below on each item. Brisket- 1000/10, best I have ever had. It was well seasoned, juicy, smoky, fatty in the right way and just so tender and delicious. Spectacular. Turkey- another 1000/10, it's so juicy and and tender. They season it but not heavily which is great since Turkey is a mild tasting meat. I would definitely get this again! Ribs- 6/10, and I love ribs. To me the seasoning on these was so thick it just overpowered the taste of the pork. All I could taste was pepper on it. It was good but I would personally pass on this item next time. Sausage- 1000/10, again so good. It was spicy due to the jalapeños but not overly, the cheese was nice and there was a good snap to the casing. The smoke added a nice touch to the fattiness of the sausage. Potato salad- 3/10, to me this was not a good take on potato salad. Not much texture in it like celery or something like that and all I could taste was vinegar. I like acid in my food but this is all I could taste. So it wasn't for me. Overall when I go next time I will be loading up on brisket, turkey and sausage! These items are amazing, maybe try another side, their beans looked really good. GO OUT AND EAT SOME BBQ!!
