This time we ordered choice of 2 from the lobster festival menu with mashed potato topped with lobster (added $7.99) The lobster was cooked right this time, but significantly smaller than ever. Basically we paid $65 just for three tiny dishes, the presentation is really not something you would like to dive in. The dinning hall is still the same decoration for so many years, but it has its special classic feels. The service is very efficient, our favorite cheddar bay biscuit was brought to us as soon as we sat down, it was quite busy Friday night, but everything was in good order.

You go girls I love it. Came here for dinner and had a hard time choosing what to order as there are so many good options on the menu. Really wanted the calamari & shrimp appetizer but opted in for the shrimp bucket and the fish and chips. I also got a coconut mango drink which was super refreshing and delicious. I thought the fish tacos had a kick of spice added but they were still good. The fries were crispy, which I loved but the highlight for me has to be the shrimp. I loveeeeed the sea salt sauce. Though I usually don't like corn, I loved this one and enjoyed the meal. Would come back here for more for sure!

I love the decor! Very open, spacious, dark in a nice way, with a gorgeous sign at the back center wall. Staff are friendly and quick to check on you. The food was ok! I wouldn't say it was my favorite, and I wasn't quite blown away with anything. I would come back for certain things though. Starting off with the salad, the dressing had a texture and taste that I can only tell you was not made fresh in house. It had that sort of translucent quality to it that reminds me of bottled sauce. Portion was good, but I wish they would toss it for you. The bowl is full of salad and they drizzle the dressing on top. It's a thick dressing that's pretty hard to toss in the bowl. It's a minor thing but honestly would be a much better dining experience. Also if they just made their own ceasar dressing. The seafood boil was also meh. I got half pound mussels with Cajun sauce. It comes on a platter with rice, potatoes and corn. I felt that it would be nice if you could pick your own sides, like at other seafood boils. The potatoes had no flavor inside them and the corn was really starchy and rough, with no corn flavor. It was a bit off putting. The sauce was ok, but I think they use too much seasoning powder, or over cooked the garlic because it was leaving a bitter flavor behind. I didn't love it by the third bite. The fish and chips were probably the best of what we ordered. It's the Costco fries texture which I love!!! Plus the fish is cooked well. The batter is very light and crispy. Total perfection! So yeh!! I would highly recommend the fish and chips, but I would probably skip the boil here.

The interior is well decorated with banquet seating and chairs throughout. I imagine if it was busier it would be quite a happening spot. Service was attentive and food came out quickly (again it was not busy at all so would be shocked if it didn't). In terms of the menu- as a pescatarian who likes healthier options there wasn't lots items that stood out, in terms of protein items it would be limited to their salmon, poke bowl or shrimp cocktail. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, the salmon on beet salad was nothing memorable but also not bad at all. The truffle fries not the best either, the fried cauliflower was DELICIOUS but buttered, fried and drenched in a sweet sauce so definitely not healthy. My friends did love the tartar and commented on how well the steak was cooked. We finished with the chocolate cake and the carrot cake. The chocolate cake was super gooey- good but again nothing special. The carrot cake though was AMAZING. Would I come back? Probably not as there are better options out there but I'm glad I tried it!

Beforehand, I actually thought the place was exclusively vegetarian - so I really didn't know a lot. It's a fairly broad menu, but most items would fall under: salads, bowls and wraps. Though there is meat available, a good amount of items - I'd even say most - are vegetarian but with the option of adding meat. I ordered the Oaxaca bowl as it looked pretty good from the description. It had items such as: brown rice, avocado, kale, a spicy yoghurt sauce, salsa, beans, beets, taco chips and a few other things. The bowl was quite large and it was nice that they live up to their name as all the items were perfectly fresh - nothing wilting or under ripe either. Pretty good value too at $9. I opted for the chicken add-on which was only $2.50. All in all, it was indeed super-fresh, with lots of taste that came together really well. Better than most burrito bowls IMO based on taste and of course health benefit. A pleasant surprise and I know I'll be back.

The accompanying broccolini was way under cooked (the stalks were difficult to chew). Maple bourbon salmon tasted good. The accompanying rice was cool at time of serving. Service: 3/5 The waitress was friendly but not that attentive; had to be prompted for water after the first bottle was provided. One of the meal orders was wrong (completely different dish than was ordered). The restaurant Manager came to apologize, and at the same time asked if the incorrect dish was attempted because it was apparently "delicious". We waited nearly 30 mins for the right dish- which was unfortunately the inedible ribs noted above. Then we waited 20 more minutes for our dessert which was ordered at the beginning with our mains. After 20 mins waiting we decided it was time to call it quits and leave. The waitress was apologetic for the experience. The restaurant Manager however did not stop to speak to us about our experience as we passed him on our way out. This was the worst restaurant experience I've had in years. I absolutely would not return or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ambiance: 4/5 The restaurant is located on the picturesque waterfront of Pickering. It's beautiful. The noise level however is HIGH. It is very difficult to have a normal level volume conversation. I found myself really having to focus when my parents were speaking. The parking is a nightmare. It's very very tight. Insufficient spaces and getting in/out is interesting but that's not the restaurant's fault- it's just the way it is.
