Shrimp and Lobster Linguini - 2025
    Terry C.

Came here for my friend's once a year birthday meal as she always wants the crab legs. This time we were seated by the window so it wasn't as gloomy feeling. All the food was pretty good. No complaints. The drink flight drinks were weak so just so so. Service was very attentive. So overall, this place is a hit or miss. Will still return.

Had lunch at Red Lobster, taking my family out for an early Mother's Day treat. We shared the bacon-wrapped sea scallops and escargot, and I went with Fish and Chips for myself. One of the reasons I keep coming back to this location is the service. It's just way better than the one closer to where I live, and the food here is consistently solid. Worth the extra 20-minute drive when I'm craving these classics. Scallops have definitely gotten a bit smaller over the years, but they're still pretty good. The Fish and Chips, don't judge me, I was really craving it, and I have to say it was a good call. Thick, flavorful fish with a light, crispy batter that actually stayed crispy, and the sauce paired perfectly. What I appreciate most is the consistency. No matter the occasion or time of day, they keep the vibe steady, the service reliable, and the food always hits the spot. That kind of reliability is rare these days.

It's been a few years since I last came to eat. Meeting up with old friends/colleagues, we decided to come here as they had the seafood deals. We ordered almost the exact same food, as we were all craving lobster and shrimp. I will come back for the seafood deals again, and I'm loving their garlic shrimp, still tastes so good. The service was excellent, because when we noticed a bug on the wall near our table, the waitress helped us remove it, and had the manager came to apologize. Plus, the atmosphere is still pretty good, it wasn't too loud.

Used to come here as a kid with my family! It's a great chain restaurant and I still love going here til this day! Food: 4/5 - all of the shrimp and lobster dishes are tasty... there hasn't been one thing that I've had that I really didn't like. I usually come for the shrimp trio and get the following: Garlic Shrimp, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, and Walt's Favourite Shrimp. All a 4/5! Garlic Cheese Biscuits 4.5/5 - famously known for their biscuits, they are so good when warm... and them being free makes them taste even better! Service: 5/5 - always have had a friendly waiter or waitress and such prompt service! Ambiance: 4.5/5 - a nice family seafood diner vibe! Would definitely take family here in the future!

Right now at Red Lobster they have an Unlimited Shrimp option. Normally it's $30 a person, but if you go on a Monday it's only $25 (lunch or dinner). They start you out with 3 different kinds and then you can add from there. Options include: Popcorn Shrimp, Walt's butterflied shrimp, grilled shrimp skewers, garlic butter shrimp, shrimp linguine, and my fave- their Coconur fried shrimp. They also have a new Salt and Vinegar shrimp. Meals come with a choice of side and their cheddar biscuits. It's a great deal and a wonderful feed if you like shrimp. Hubby said the chocolate cake was to die for. Service was timely and friendly. Parking is on site.

This is a stand-alone house with plenty of parking. The inside is also spacious, although a bit dull and old-fashioned. Good for group gatherings, family meals, and intimate dinners. Lobster & Shrimp Overboard - Contains a roasted lobster tail, lobster & shrimp linguini, and a grilled shrimp skewer. It's a quite generous portion, can be easily shared by two who don't eat much. Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms - Very flavorful. Shrimps were inside the mushrooms with baked cheese on top. Sweet Chili Shrimp - Battered shrimp tossed in a spicy chili sauce. Shrimps were crispy and went perfectly with the sauce. Chocolate Cake - A big piece of chocolate cake layered with chocolate fudge frosting, served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. Pretty yummy. Cinnamon Whiskey Sour - A tasty drink. Love the combination of cinnamon and alcohol. The staff who hosted us were patient and friendly. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Food (quality, creativity, consistency) - 4.5/5 Drinks (quality, variety) - 4.5/5 Ambience (interior design, cleanliness) - 2.5/5 Service (courtesy, knowledge, timeliness) - 4/5 Value (quality vs. price) - 5/5

    Monday - Ultimate Endless Shrimp
    Phyllis L.

Came here for the $25 Endless Shrimp on Monday and really enjoyed the meal! Just like how it has always been, we were greeted with warm biscuits. There were 6 different shrimp options to choose from, and for the first round you get a choice of three along with a side, and subsequently you get to pick two. In the first order, I got the classic garlic shrimp, coconut shrimp, and decided to give their sweet chili shrimp a try. I also ended up loving their grilled shrimp which I got in the second round. Overall the food was a bit on the saltier side, and the service could've been a bit better as we had to wait or call our server for a number of things despite the restaurant not being very busy, but for a Monday dinner this was quite good!

Tried the $25 Endless Shrimp special and got the garlic shrimp and shrimp linguine. I wanted the coconut shrimp, but unfortunately they ran out. I found the garlic shrimp too oily and salty. But the linguine was not bad. Service was quite poor. It took quite a while before our food came out and they brought the main courses first before the appetizers. The server didn't say anything until we asked where our appetizer was. Funny thing was the service told us the kitchen wasn't busy so we could order more for Endless Shrimp special. Restaurant looked a bit dated and could use a refresh.

Location/Service This place has been around for as long as I remembered! It's on Sheppard Ave, a little west of Warden Ave - just a little restaurant on its own. There are some condo construction around it, hoping it's still there after the completion - but I like the place had its own dedicated parking lot - which was great to secure parking. Inside was bigger than I thought - with a lot of family sized tables and aisle seating available. COVID protocols still in place when I went - and staff were still wearing masks while working. The lightning inside was very dim, I guess to suit its ambient environment. Hostess and waiter were very nice and service was overall generally fast. Food Haven't been to a Red Lobster for over 10 years, the first thing I asked was whether they still had the biscuits and whether they were still unlimited. And they were! These biscuits are amazing! Warm when it's served to you, a little flaky once you chew in it and very buttery from how it's made. It's perfect if you are pairing it with soup or the seafood meal you have. As for my main, I ordered the Seafarer's Feast - which has a broiled Maritime lobster tail, seared sea scallops, garlic shrimp and Walt's Favourite Shrimp. Great choice in my opinion if you want to try a little bit of every seafood available. Of course you get to choose your own side, which I opted in for veggies and rice. Amazing dish - the lobster tail is portion is bigger than I thought - packed full of meat. The garlic shrimp was a little too buttery for me, but quite tasty overall. I also enjoyed the scallops that were seared to the right level - crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. A very hefty and hearty meal. I'm glad Red Lobster is still operating after all these years and it was quite lively when I went inside. Still a great staple seafood family restaurant for all.

Endless shrimp Garlic Shrimp with fries

I haven't been to red lobster in quite some time but I decided to do the endless shrimp twice in the last month, and I have to admit it's not what I remember it to be. I've had the garlic shrimp, and the shrimp itself is good quality shrimp l, really it was bigger than I expected it to be, but the sauce/seasoning was really dilute. It was actually just greasy, and salty, there was a real question of where is the garlic. As for the Alfredo, it was the same, the sauce was just kinda creamy, but didn't taste like real cream, and there was a complete lack of flavour in all the dishes. I also had fries with my main, it had salt, but the fries were mushy/soggy fries. The biscuits were fresh from the oven, warm, crispy on the outside. And moist inside, but again the same problem. No flavour. I hope that red lobster can find a way to infuse the flavour back into its food... so we can go and enjoy this place like we used to

We came here on a Saturday night to try their endless shrimp promotion. They were busy but we were still able to get seated right away. The endless shrimp promotion came with 4 shrimp options as well as a choice of a side. The side is a one time order so it would be a good idea to save it throughout your orders. We tried all the options but honestly weren't impressed with any. Walt's Favourite Shrimp: taste was ok, breading was heavy Island Jumbo Coconut Shrimp: we found the coconut to be too strong Handcrafted Garlic Shrimp: good but definitely get tired of the flavour after a while Grilled Shrimp Skewer: we found this a bit bland The table had a tablet which you could pay through via debit or credit. You can also play games on it during your meal for an charge of $2.49. Overall the meal was ok, but I probably wouldn't order the endless shrimp again unless they offer new flavours.

came by to try the ayce shrimp! Total was $27 and came with biscuits, a side (I went fries), and unlimited shrimp! there was a few flavors to choose from: tequila Lime, waltz, garlic, sweet chili, coconut, skewer, popcorn, and linguini. The biscuits were really good and the fries not bad! but overall found the shrimp experience mediocre. It wasn't bad but I can't say I was particularly impressed either. I was able to try all the flavors and my favourites were the sweet chili and waltz. Sweet chili was a good combination of the two flavors while waltz was a fried shrimp that was a good amount of crispy (pictured). Otherwise, I found some of the other flavors sort of underwhelming. Some tips: popcorn shrimp is not worth! a lot of small fried pieces of popcorn shrimp but not particularly tasty...good to share maybe but whole portion is meh. Luigini comes with a bowl of pasta ! the shrimp otherwise doesn't have too much flavor...so wouldn't recommend to be honest but if you're really curious, save it for last because it's a bit filling. I thought garlic flavor was too garlicy while the regular skewers didn't have much flavor....the coconut and tequila Lime weren't bad! but overall thought it was good but not great. Felt like you could do better for the price!

When we arrived, he insisted that we did not have a reservation even after we showed our confirmation, and, instead of apologizing for what appeared to be the restaurant's booking system error, he tried to lecture us about how certain reservation websites do not allow large-group bookings. Rather than taking responsibility or working professionally toward a solution, his attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely inappropriate. Fortunately, the lady working with him was kind, professional, and genuinely tried to explain the situation and find a way to accommodate us. She deserves recognition for her efforts. Our group was in town for an eight-day conference with more than 3,000 attendees. Because of this experience, this restaurant has unfortunately been added to the "not recommended" list for this annual event. When restaurants host business travelers, the way guests are treated matters just as much as the quality of the food. Unprofessional treatment of customers and business partners can damage relationships and cost businesses significant opportunities. To anyone considering this restaurant: the food is excellent, but if you're planning an important business dinner or any special occasion, be aware that the wrong interaction at the front desk could ruin your evening. Great food alone cannot make up for poor management and unprofessional customer service.

The food was just okay here, nothing really stood out to me. They have lobster and steamed oysters per person with a ticket and someone that mans the station handing them out. I think the sushi section was probably the best section. They have a noodle bar but I thought the bowl of noodle was way TOO BIG for a buffet portion - this is cooked to order by the staff. The stand out items were definitely the sashimi, the salt and pepper shrimp and for dessert durian. The durian is also per person with a ticket so if you love durian, this is probably a steal for you. Dessert section is mostly mousse cakes too which I don't love. Overall, it's just okay for me. Not a lot of variety in food. Taste was was just okay.

I rmb when they first opened and they had unlimited lobster & oysters for $50 in this economy- they had me sold but unfortunately there's a limit of 1 per person for lobster, oyster, and durian. Still with the amount of food I think it was worth it! I also thought it was pretty cute that they had a snack station that had chips, gummies, pocky and Asian crackers i ate growing up - it was so nostalgic Service was friendly. They cleared the plates frequently and I never felt rushed eating here.

There are also private dining rooms for a more intimate experience. We came for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised at the food. Many of the dishes were individually served and presented nicely. The servers were also super friendly and talkative!

As a guest at a family celebration, I didn't catch the exact price of our menu, but judging from similar ones online, I'd estimate it around $798. Before committing to a $1,000+ spread, it's worth visiting to explore the more accessible offerings. The roasted suckling pig with jellyfish is a dish of contrasts: warm, rich pork paired with cool, crunchy jellyfish. It may have been my portion, but the pork leaned slightly fatty. Still, it was moist with a delicate, crispy skin. Instead of the usual deep-fried crab claw, Queen's serves a scallop with shrimp paste. It's easier to eat with a knife and fork, and while the sauce softens the crisp exterior, it adds a savoury depth without overwhelming the seafood. The crispy salted egg yolk prawns were impressively large and well cooked. I don't usually gravitate towards salted egg yolk, finding it heavy, but here it added a pleasant richness. Since the coating sits on the shell, it's easy to control how much you get. I also appreciated the inclusion of vegetables throughout the meal. The scallops came with gai lan, while the prawns were paired with broccoli, helping balance out the richness. Swapping out the usual shark fin soup, the bird's nest soup with minced chicken and egg white was a welcomed change. The broth was thick and silky, but the minced chicken added some much-needed texture. This is a long review for the rest go to Gastro World.
