Been wanting to try Red Lobster since I moved here and my first experienced was great. Had a reservation so got seated right away. The place was nice and the server was very friendly and accommodating. I had the Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon and they're cooked perfectly delicious and very tasty. The Main Deck Margarita Flight was so so good. Literally came back the next day just for the Margaritas. Pricing were okay. Definitely will go back here whenever there's a chance. read more

We had an incredible experience at Red Lobster, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Greg. I had coworkers visiting from the UK for a company meeting, and for years they had heard about Red Lobster and always wanted to try it, it was genuinely a bit of a childhood dream for them. Greg went above and beyond to make that experience special. From the moment we sat down, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely excited to help create a memorable visit. He took the time to walk them through the menu, made great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly. What really stood out was how much he cared about making their first experience unforgettable. It wasn't just great service, it felt personal. He turned what could have been a simple dinner into something truly meaningful for our group. Thank you, Greg, for your outstanding hospitality and for helping make a long-awaited experience live up to (and exceed) expectations. We'll absolutely be back! read more

The service was alright, it was tough getting our servers attention. The food was good, portions of the seafood boil are on the smaller end. The shrimp was fantastic, it was fresh and sweet. Seafood boil was alright, worth trying it once but would not recommend it. Lots of open space, the booths are a bit tight but it makes is cozy. read more

The place was clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly and nice. Ordered a seafood boil. platter (55.99) and it came with 7 crablegs including a claw, potatoes, corn, peeled shrimp, and lobster tail. They also gave bibs and tools to help with cracking open te crab legs. Tasted fresh! Felt ambitious and got everything in the sauce, but if i were to order again, I'd probably stick to a simpler sauce. read more

Hanging by a thread. Red lobster once a attractive place for seafood has slowly fallen down the wayside. The service was great, I even like the charm of the slightly old decor... It's the food and presentation that have just not kept up the quality or the changing times. The price point doesn't match the experience and it's no longer an easy choice... It's at the bottom of the list. read more

We visited the young and Dundas location where the service was great. We thought the restaurant was clean and the ambiance I think is the same as any other red lobster location. The food, we stuck to endless shrimp and tried everything offered. My favourite has to be the coconut shrimp, it came with the pina colada dip, which I thought was really creative and works so well with this dish. The garlic shrimp is unchanged since the dawn of time, a never fail recipe! We also enjoyed dessert, the chocolate cake with ice cream. The scoop I think is a little small and I wish the same was a room temperature because it was super melted and way too soft for me to enjoy... but some ppl like this I guess. I wish they would ask us next time if we wanted the cake warm. Red lobster response after contacting them as per their request: Thank you for the information. We do rely on guest feedback and will forward your comments to our internal team. Thanks Angelica for reaching out. read more

Food: 4 Stars Service: 5 Stars Ambience: 4 Stars Fill Factor: Satisfied To me, Red Lobster is like that old friend who doesn't change much and that you can rely on when you need comforting. My experiences dining at Red Lobster have been fairly consistent over the years so you usually know what you will be getting everytime you visit the restaurant. During my latest visit, I ordered the shrimp and lobster linguini Alfredo. The dish came swimming with shrimp though they were much less generous with the lobster. The linguini and Alfredo sauce were solid and overall really nothing to complain about. Of course any review of Red Lobster without mentioning the Cheddar Bay biscuits is not complete so as usual they started us off with some biscuits which are as enjoyable as ever. I do not remember his name but our server was amazing as he made sure everything was good with us from answering our questions about the menu to checking in on us regularly and topping up our drinks. The experience was that much better due to his attentiveness so thank you for that. In my recollection the restaurant looks and feels the same from my first visit years ago. There is plenty of seating, seats were comfortable and everything seemed clean. The environment overall was comfortable to be in. The best word to describe Red Lobster is consistency. The experience each time I visit is fairly consistent so if you are looking for seafood in a familiar and comfortable environment then you can't go wrong with Red Lobster. read more

Red Lobster has always been known for their hospitable environment and delicious biscuits! However, it's also become a bit known for their increasing prices and decreasing value. Once they were a great value, with 4-course meals available throughout the week that were a fantastic choice. Now, portions are shrinking. While the food is still tasty, this was the first time I had gone home still a wee bit hungry! read more

Came here for the Endless Shrimp ($28.99 usually for the special, but they were having a promo for $20). The way the promo works is that you first order 2 of the shrimp dishes and a side. After you finish the shrimp dishes, you can keep ordering other shrimp dishes. You are limited to 1 side however. There are 5 different shrimp dishes. Pros: - Good service - Nice ambiance, seating is spacious, and restaurant is not too loud. - Biscuits are good - Ranking the shrimp dishes: Grilled shrimp is by far the best, followed by Walt's, Garlic shrimp (but it's very oily), Shrimp Linguini, then the Coconut shrimp. Cons: - The need to hire more wait staff. Place has lots of seating but no one to serve the customers. - Food is generally very heavy and oily. - A bit on the pricier side if you're not getting the specials. - Shrimp is not the best quality. read more

The quality of service has dropped very much, and one of the waitresses who served us that day was very impatient and rude, I don't know if it was because of racism or what. She mistyped our bill several times and even rudely tore up the wrong receipt, we didn't understand why she was so angry and rude. Prices have gone up while food portions have gone down, and the lobsters are noticeably smaller than they used to be. The taste is also not as delicious as it was when I first consumed it at this restaurant a few years ago. The garlic bread given as an appetizer was also less and smaller in size than in the past. Very disappointed in Red Lobster read more

Service is slow. Red lobster needs to stop with the "itll be 15 min wait" shit. Your establishment is 3/4 empty with plenty of staff. Get the fk on. Had the seafood boil. Meh 5/10. Pretty boring read more

Ate dinner in the Peterborough location tonight. the food was good, the service was excellent but the new menu is terribly disappointing. As someone who requires GF options I've been left with one entree - the tilapia with scallops. Formerly I loved the entree which was a skewer each of grilled shrimp and scallops. Every time they were perfectly grilled. Tonight's scallops had some kind of topping which sadly did not enhance their flavour. The popular 'bowl' is not an option for me due to the soy sauce and possibly its thickened with wheat? I agree the old menu was too large in this climate of cost savings but sadly I won't be a regular anymore. I was terribly disappointed to lose the skewer combo. read more

Highly recommend making reservations, as I had to wait nearly 45 min on a Monday evening at 7pm! I was sat closer to 8pm. I felt like this location is under staff/ has slow service. Our server walked passed us several time and didn't greet us. After 20 minutes of waiting, I reached out to another server to take me order. 10 minutes later, our actual server came over to introduce herself and apologize. The food itself was amazing for the price! read more

Came back to Red Lobster with my wife's family on her bday celebration. Of course you get the complimentary famous biscuits they serve which is a staple at Red Lobster. Here was what we ordered: Cheesy Fries w/Lump Crab Meat App-$17 - This was part of their new menu option for crab fest... - This for us was a fail and not really worth getting. The lack of crab meat in there is evident and not lump crab meat for certain...More like strings of little meat spread here and there. Stuffed Mushroom with rice and other stuff- $15 - This is usually one of their staple apps that we always get, but it feels like it doesn't taste the same as back then Lobster & Shrimp Tacos- $22 (3PCS) - Each taco consists of 2x fried shrimp and 1x lobster mini claw portion of sort along with their garnish and sauce. This was okay but a bit simple imo. For the price tag and what you get, I guess its okay to venture. Salmon, roasted brussel sprouts, edamame, salad of sort, rice (kind of like a poke bowl of sort)- $22 - This is a decent dish and portion was fine. For people that enjoy healthy not so high sodium food, this dish would be ideal. Birthday Cake was a chocolate cake of sort with a scoop of ice cream (Not sure if its complimentary or cost associated with it as we didn't pay for the bill) The food isn't terrible b/c my wife's parents tried Red Lobster for the first time and were finding this place acceptable considering they've always had their own culture cuisine mainly, so this was a nice change of scenery for them. Have been coming to this location for years with my partner, and usually have had no complaints, either from food or service. But not this time. To start off, our server Barbara was very standoffish, all but slamming down glasses and plates and being unfriendly, during the rare occasions when she visited our table. Only time she perked up was when it came time to pay the bill, probably to ensure she got a tip she didn't deserve. Could understand this if the place was busy/short-staffed, but it wasn't. The food was also disappointing. My partner ordered mussels and a caser salad. The mussels were overcooked, but somehow arrived not as hot as they should have been, had some grit, and an odd taste while the salad was not fresh. I had ordered the pick-two shrimp option (chili shrimp and shrimp alfredo) and was very disappointed. Wasn't as hot as it should have been, and they not only gave me very few shrimp (5 for one, 6 for the other) I had to deshell the pasta ones myself. In addition to this, the washrooms were also unclean, no soap dispenser with only an uncapped bottle with a sign that said 'for use of hands'. Honestly, I don't think we'll be back if this is now the current standard of Red Lobster. They used to be sooooo much better than what it is now. read more

Restaurant I went to Red Lobster restaurant for dinner. Red Lobster is located in a mall on Dundas St. It is a large restaurant with many tables. Food I ordered the endless shrimp special. For the endless shrimp special, I can order two initial shrimp dishes and then afterwards I can order additional shrimp dish. I started with the garlic shrimp and shrimp linguini dishes. It took a while to get my shrimp dishes so I ate the delicious biscuits. The garlic shrimp dish was tiny shrimps in garlic sauce. It was good. The shrimp linguini was okay. Afterwards I ordered the sesame ginger grilled shrimp. You get 5 shrimps on a skewer. It was not very good. Service The service was slow and took a while to get my food. It took an hour to get three shrimp dishes. The waiter was not very friendly. Value Would I go back? No. I have not eaten at Red Lobster in the last 15 years due to poor food and service. read more

I went to red lobster about a month ago at young and dundas and had a terrible experience. The bartender gives your your food at takeout. She often pampered with my food one time she put hair and dirt in my food . I had to start ordering my takeout buy phone with a bogus name so she didn't know it was mine. I would always give a ten dollar tip but one day I felt she deserved nothing since she put hair and dirt in my food. The last time I ordered she seen me coming in off the sidewalk and she ran into the kitchen to retrieve my order. She gave me a box of 20 biscuits as a joke to substitute the garlic bread I ordered . And my food looked like it was in a hurricane and my order was not correct. She once again tampered with my food. I work hard for my money and I spend a lot at red lobster and I should not be treated like garbage. This bartender at red lobster at young and fundas should be fired. If it was my restaurant I would fire her . She would stand there thinking she deserves to be tipped for takeout food because of her poor service and receiving dirty food with hair in it I never tipped her so she retaliated and tampered with my food and gave me a box of biscuits as a joke.Red lobster also deleted my negative reviews instead of reaching out to me and apologizing for her tampering and purposely contaminating my food. I feel they should reach out to me concerning her behavior. Seafood can be contaminated very easy. One would think that her deliberately contaminating my food would Aldo be a criminal act. Haven't been to Red Lobster in ages, so i thought i would give it a try again, especially with the lobster - steak combo that's on the menu. There are so many entrees to choose from, which is awesome. But i knew what i wanted. The service was lovely with the waiter being attentive. And also there was no line up to get seated, which was amazing for a down town restaurant on a Friday night. The food came in a decent time. The portion was nice. I was really excited. The steak was not bad. I asked for a medium, and it was slightly to the medium-well side. The lobster was a biy salty. The asparagus was also a bit over cooked. So i was a bit disappointed overall with the quality of cooking. Maybe they were just having a bit of an off night. I can see it being a great tasty dish. Maybe next time. read more

It was actually my first time here at Red Lobster. I've heard so much about the Build-You-Own-Feast option that I went for it. For my first selection, I got the Butter Poached Maine Lobster Meat, followed by Fire Grilled Sea Scallops, Savoury Garlic Shrimp, and the Jumbo Shrimp Skewer. I also ordered White Wine and Roasted Garlic Mussels as an appetizer. My boyfriend ordered the Rock Lobster and 10 oz. New York Strip with a side of broccoli and baked potato. Our meal came with a side of biscuits. Their biscuits were so nice and buttery. It was definitely one of my favourite biscuits I've tried. The mussels were a nice treat. I loved eating it with the bread. The sauce used is very savoury and rich in flavour. For my ultimate feast, I felt that it's not really worth it for what you get. For $36, I just had a couple of seafood skewers with a small dish of overcooked lobster. The flavour was just okay. They seasoned the seafood very simply with salt. My experience here was just okay. I would probably find better value for seafood elsewhere. read more

Red Lobster been on my radar for awhile and finally got a chance to try it out. My friends and I ordered delivery using Foodora and we all got our own 12oz steak and lobster dinner. When we got our food there was no fork and knives also we were missing a mashed potatoe. The steak and lobster did look good but when I ate it the lobster was bland and had a weird crumblely texture, the steak was chewy and hard to cut with knife. $40 regular price for this is not worth it. Our delivery location was only 5 mins from the restaurant and food took 1 hour to arrive. Not sure how Red Lobster has been around so long. read more

shepherd ave east toronto. what a great disappointment !! a long time favourite and after 10 years went to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary lunch. wrong decision! apart from a big increase in prices, the food was pathetic. lobster bisk soup was fair, the great biscuits very tasty but under baked, the whatever shrimp fancy sause dish was tasteless and even with out any sauce the shrimp had little size and flavour, the deep fried squid and green beans not much better. we shared three dishes no drinks or desert with bill cda $43.60 plus tip. the place was almost empty, dark and tired, the service ok. shortly on the way to do some shopping, the msg hit like a bad chinese restaurant, so home we went to a nap, never to return. read more

I love red lobster. Every time I go, their quality is the same. It's a great place to get good quality seafood, which is a little $$$ for obvious reasons. Their portions are big to make up for it though! Also, complimentary buttermilk biscuits? Hell yes. These are the best ones, Popeyes has nothing on these freshly baked buttery goodness. Also, they do have chicken as well, if you're not a seafood fan. They also have daily lunch specials you could take advantage of! I went to this location recently and saw they now have self serve tabs on tables for you to play games (paid) and also pay your own bill! (I've seen these at Uno pizzeria in USA) Here's what I've tried here (not all pictured sadly) * Cheddar Bay Biscuits - buttery, garlic, cheeses & free! The hot ones keep coming and its hard to stop eating them. * Sweet chilli shrimp - my favourite item on their menu, this sweet chilli sauce is so delicious! I actually dip the biscuits in this too the sauce is highly addictive, combined with the crunchy lettuce and perfectly battered shrimps it's a treat! * Kung pao noodles with crispy shrimp - the quantity is insane, it's like Cheesecake Factory quantity. These noodles are delicious though, the shrimp & the crunch of the peanuts is delicious when combined with the sauce. * Garlic shrimp( not pictured) I've had this with rice, the shrimp is grilled perfectly and the sauce is very light and delicious. * Brownie Overboard - this was my fav brownie sundae for ages. The brownie is warm and gooey with chocolate sauce and chocolate chips + whipped cream and delicious vanilla ice cream! It's rich and decadent. Although when I went this time around I had it after a year and it didn't taste quite the same, maybe it was an off day. But I'll have to try it again * Vanilla Bean Cheesecake - also delicious! And huge. read more

A few months ago, I came to Red Lobster to celebrate my birthday. I had a great experience with my friends for the evening, especially after our hockey game! We came in and we were seated immediately. We took some time to decide on what to order as Red Lobster has a lot of great options. I decided to sample their Fish and Chips since it was a Wednesday special. After the server put in our order, we were served their legendary Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I swear after eating just one, you will want to have more. Be careful not to have too many as they can get quite addicting while you are waiting for your food! We received our food in a timely manner, which was pleasant. The Fish and Chips were done nicely. The cod was fried to a nice crisp, while maintaining a nice texture. The coleslaw was a perfect combo of vegetables dressed in a nice acidic vinaigrette. The fries were nicely prepared to go alongside the tarter sauce. The experience was quite nice and it's a good place to come for a once-in-a-while treat or to celebrate the big moments in your life! read more

Gord and I had lunch today at Red Lobster. It was a busy popular spot for lunch. Virginia, our server, started us off with cheesy biscuits. Yum! I'm not a big seafood lover and ordered what I always get at Red Lobster ... Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo. My meal came with a salad, which I gave to Gord. My meal, as usual, was delicious. I'm not a big fan of Cajun spice in general but I find it works well in this dish with the Alfredo sauce. The chicken was really tender. Gord ordered Shrimp Tacos with rice. He said they were really good and he'd get them again. Virginia was pleasant and efficient. Dave, the Director of Operations, Great Lakes Division, greeted us when we arrived and was a friendly guy. He came over to chat before we left to find out how everything was. We'll be back! read more

Came for $22.99 endless shrimp. 5 options were available on my menu: Korean BBQ, Garlic, Hand-breaded, cheese-and-peppercorn, shrimp linguini. But when I say 5, I mean the menu comes with 5 options. It seems like one of the menus we had listed a different set of options, but that menu was quickly taken away after the first order was made, and the one we were left with did not have a different selection. We did not attempt to ask for more menus. First order comes with two orders of shrimp along with one side and one salad. Subsequent orders are placed one at a time. Server was pro-active: recommended to get our next orders in when he brought them over so we didn't have to wait too long in between. Water re-fills came at a good pace as well, given that the food was quite thirst-inducing. There seemed to be some inconsistency between different tables when it came to lemon slices with the glass of water, but that's a minor detail. Washrooms are clean. Chopsticks are not available, so you will need to pack your own. I enjoyed the korean BBQ shrimp and the peppercorn shrimp. Sizes are alright. Linguini came with a bit too much linguini and had an ... interesting ... combination of flavors between the pasta and the shrimp. read more

So we saw an add in Cuba on American Satellite for all you can eat shrimp. Hoping against hope that this also applied to Canada, my girlfriend and I ventured down there. The place is a bit dated. Think 80s hotel bar shiek and the TV's in the bar were all on the fritz. The buzzers they give you when your table is ready was also 90s tastic. Luckily there were still having the all you can eat shrimp deal. 22 for all you can eat from about 5 or 6 different preparations of shrimp including Alfredo, Garlic, classic and a few others. All of them were quite good if a bit starchy. I mean it's not the Ritz but it's decent enough. Service was also quite friendly. read more

Went here one night as it was close to our hotel and we were in the mood for seafood. We were seated promptly and much caution is being taken during covid. Seating is well spaced out and we were actually in a section by ourselves for a little while. The menu seems condensed but still offered our favorite dishes. I got my usual crab legs and my hubby got shrimp and scallops which he loved! I'm really sad that the broccoli isn't offered anymore as a side as it was my favorite. String beans are just not my cup of tea. I added on a salad to get some sort of vegetable as there aren't many other options for vegetables on the menu. We loved our meal even if we spent a bit much. Next time I need more butter!! :) Great experience during these strange times. read more
