Greg went above and beyond to make that experience special. From the moment we sat down, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely excited to help create a memorable visit. He took the time to walk them through the menu, made great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Ordered a seafood boil. platter (55.99) and it came with 7 crablegs including a claw, potatoes, corn, peeled shrimp, and lobster tail. We visited the young and Dundas location where the service was great. We thought the restaurant was clean and the ambiance I think is the same as any other red lobster location. The food, we stuck to endless shrimp and tried everything offered. My favourite has to be the coconut shrimp, it came with the pina colada dip, which I thought was really creative and works so well with this dish. The garlic shrimp is unchanged since the dawn of time, a never fail recipe! We also enjoyed dessert, the chocolate cake with ice cream. The scoop I think is a little small and I wish the same was a room temperature because it was super melted and way too soft for me to enjoy... but some ppl like this I guess. My experiences dining at Red Lobster have been fairly consistent over the years so you usually know what you will be getting everytime you visit the restaurant. During my latest visit, I ordered the shrimp and lobster linguini Alfredo. The dish came swimming with shrimp though they were much less generous with the lobster. The linguini and Alfredo sauce were solid and overall really nothing to complain about. Of course any review of Red Lobster without mentioning the Cheddar Bay biscuits is not complete so as usual they started us off with some biscuits which are as enjoyable as ever. I do not remember his name but our server was amazing as he made sure everything was good with us from answering our questions about the menu to checking in on us regularly and topping up our drinks. The experience was that much better due to his attentiveness so thank you for that. In my recollection the restaurant looks and feels the same from my first visit years ago. There is plenty of seating, seats were comfortable and everything seemed clean. The environment overall was comfortable to be in. The best word to describe Red Lobster is consistency. Came here for the Endless Shrimp ($28.99 usually for the special, but they were having a promo for $20). The way the promo works is that you first order 2 of the shrimp dishes and a side. After you finish the shrimp dishes, you can keep ordering other shrimp dishes. You are limited to 1 side however. There are 5 different shrimp dishes. Pros: - Good service - Nice ambiance, seating is spacious, and restaurant is not too loud. - Biscuits are good - Ranking the shrimp dishes: Grilled shrimp is by far the best, followed by Walt's, Garlic shrimp (but it's very oily), Shrimp Linguini, then the Coconut shrimp. Ate dinner in the Peterborough location tonight. the food was good, the service was excellent but the new menu is terribly disappointing. As someone who requires GF options I've been left with one entree - the tilapia with scallops. Formerly I loved the entree which was a skewer each of grilled shrimp and scallops. Every time they were perfectly grilled. Tonight's scallops had some kind of topping which sadly did not enhance their flavour. The popular 'bowl' is not an option for me due to the soy sauce and possibly its thickened with wheat? Our server walked passed us several time and didn't greet us. Stuffed Mushroom with rice and other stuff- $15 - This is usually one of their staple apps that we always get, but it feels like it doesn't taste the same as back then Lobster & Shrimp Tacos- $22 (3PCS) - Each taco consists of 2x fried shrimp and 1x lobster mini claw portion of sort along with their garnish and sauce. This was okay but a bit simple imo. For the price tag and what you get, I guess its okay to venture. Have been coming to this location for years with my partner, and usually have had no complaints, either from food or service. But not this time. To start off, our server Barbara was very standoffish, all but slamming down glasses and plates and being unfriendly, during the rare occasions when she visited our table. Only time she perked up was when it came time to pay the bill, probably to ensure she got a tip she didn't deserve. Could understand this if the place was busy/short-staffed, but it wasn't. The food was also disappointing. My partner ordered mussels and a caser salad. The mussels were overcooked, but somehow arrived not as hot as they should have been, had some grit, and an odd taste while the salad was not fresh. I had ordered the pick-two shrimp option (chili shrimp and shrimp alfredo) and was very disappointed. Wasn't as hot as it should have been, and they not only gave me very few shrimp (5 for one, 6 for the other) I had to deshell the pasta ones myself. In addition to this, the washrooms were also unclean, no soap dispenser with only an uncapped bottle with a sign that said 'for use of hands'. For the endless shrimp special, I can order two initial shrimp dishes and then afterwards I can order additional shrimp dish. I started with the garlic shrimp and shrimp linguini dishes. It took a while to get my shrimp dishes so I ate the delicious biscuits. The garlic shrimp dish was tiny shrimps in garlic sauce. It was good. The shrimp linguini was okay. Afterwards I ordered the sesame ginger grilled shrimp. You get 5 shrimps on a skewer. It was not very good. Service The service was slow and took a while to get my food. It took an hour to get three shrimp dishes. The waiter was not very friendly. Value Would I go back? No. I have not eaten at Red Lobster in the last 15 years due to poor food and service. read more

She often pampered with my food one time she put hair and dirt in my food . I had to start ordering my takeout buy phone with a bogus name so she didn't know it was mine. And my food looked like it was in a hurricane and my order was not correct. She once again tampered with my food. There are so many entrees to choose from, which is awesome. But i knew what i wanted. The service was lovely with the waiter being attentive. And also there was no line up to get seated, which was amazing for a down town restaurant on a Friday night. The food came in a decent time. The portion was nice. I was really excited. The steak was not bad. I asked for a medium, and it was slightly to the medium-well side. The lobster was a biy salty. The asparagus was also a bit over cooked. It was actually my first time here at Red Lobster. I've heard so much about the Build-You-Own-Feast option that I went for it. For my first selection, I got the Butter Poached Maine Lobster Meat, followed by Fire Grilled Sea Scallops, Savoury Garlic Shrimp, and the Jumbo Shrimp Skewer. I also ordered White Wine and Roasted Garlic Mussels as an appetizer. My boyfriend ordered the Rock Lobster and 10 oz. New York Strip with a side of broccoli and baked potato. I loved eating it with the bread. The sauce used is very savoury and rich in flavour. For my ultimate feast, I felt that it's not really worth it for what you get. Red Lobster been on my radar for awhile and finally got a chance to try it out. My friends and I ordered delivery using Foodora and we all got our own 12oz steak and lobster dinner. When we got our food there was no fork and knives also we were missing a mashed potatoe. The steak and lobster did look good but when I ate it the lobster was bland and had a weird crumblely texture, the steak was chewy and hard to cut with knife. $40 regular price for this is not worth it. This Red Lobster location is right in the middle of all the action around Downtown Toronto. Steps away from Yonge-Dundas Square. Came here to eat with a friend. We both orderd the Crab Fest special. The food was fresh and made to order. The server was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Street parking and paid parking are available. Public transportation and Taxi/Uber/Lyft/TTC are the best ways to get here. I hope this Red Lobster remains consistent with their service and keeps offering the best food possible. I love red lobster. Every time I go, their quality is the same. It's a great place to get good quality seafood, which is a little $$$ for obvious reasons. The hot ones keep coming and its hard to stop eating them. * Sweet chilli shrimp - my favourite item on their menu, this sweet chilli sauce is so delicious! I actually dip the biscuits in this too the sauce is highly addictive, combined with the crunchy lettuce and perfectly battered shrimps it's a treat! * Kung pao noodles with crispy shrimp - the quantity is insane, it's like Cheesecake Factory quantity. These noodles are delicious though, the shrimp & the crunch of the peanuts is delicious when combined with the sauce. * Garlic shrimp( not pictured) I've had this with rice, the shrimp is grilled perfectly and the sauce is very light and delicious. * Brownie Overboard - this was my fav brownie sundae for ages. The brownie is warm and gooey with chocolate sauce and chocolate chips + whipped cream and delicious vanilla ice cream! It's rich and decadent. A few months ago, I came to Red Lobster to celebrate my birthday. I had a great experience with my friends for the evening, especially after our hockey game! We came in and we were seated immediately. We took some time to decide on what to order as Red Lobster has a lot of great options. I decided to sample their Fish and Chips since it was a Wednesday special. After the server put in our order, we were served their legendary Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I swear after eating just one, you will want to have more. Be careful not to have too many as they can get quite addicting while you are waiting for your food! We received our food in a timely manner, which was pleasant. The Fish and Chips were done nicely. The cod was fried to a nice crisp, while maintaining a nice texture. The coleslaw was a perfect combo of vegetables dressed in a nice acidic vinaigrette. The fries were nicely prepared to go alongside the tarter sauce. I'm not a big seafood lover and ordered what I always get at Red Lobster ... Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo. My meal came with a salad, which I gave to Gord. My meal, as usual, was delicious. I'm not a big fan of Cajun spice in general but I find it works well in this dish with the Alfredo sauce. The chicken was really tender. Gord ordered Shrimp Tacos with rice. I'm from Vancouver and we aren't lucky enough to have Red Lobster out west. I've been wanting to sample those famous biscuits ever since Beyonce sang about taking her bae to RL in Formation. Our server, Qi, made the experience for us. He was an absolute gem. The biscuits were everything I ever hoped for. The bathtub-sized margarita was a delicious assault on my tastebuds. Came for $22.99 endless shrimp. 5 options were available on my menu: Korean BBQ, Garlic, Hand-breaded, cheese-and-peppercorn, shrimp linguini. But when I say 5, I mean the menu comes with 5 options. It seems like one of the menus we had listed a different set of options, but that menu was quickly taken away after the first order was made, and the one we were left with did not have a different selection. We did not attempt to ask for more menus. First order comes with two orders of shrimp along with one side and one salad. Subsequent orders are placed one at a time. Server was pro-active: recommended to get our next orders in when he brought them over so we didn't have to wait too long in between. Water re-fills came at a good pace as well, given that the food was quite thirst-inducing. There seemed to be some inconsistency between different tables when it came to lemon slices with the glass of water, but that's a minor detail. Washrooms are clean. Chopsticks are not available, so you will need to pack your own. I enjoyed the korean BBQ shrimp and the peppercorn shrimp. Sizes are alright. So we saw an add in Cuba on American Satellite for all you can eat shrimp. Hoping against hope that this also applied to Canada, my girlfriend and I ventured down there. The place is a bit dated. Think 80s hotel bar shiek and the TV's in the bar were all on the fritz. The buzzers they give you when your table is ready was also 90s tastic. Luckily there were still having the all you can eat shrimp deal. 22 for all you can eat from about 5 or 6 different preparations of shrimp including Alfredo, Garlic, classic and a few others. Went here one night as it was close to our hotel and we were in the mood for seafood. We were seated promptly and much caution is being taken during covid. Seating is well spaced out and we were actually in a section by ourselves for a little while. The menu seems condensed but still offered our favorite dishes. I got my usual crab legs and my hubby got shrimp and scallops which he loved! I'm really sad that the broccoli isn't offered anymore as a side as it was my favorite. String beans are just not my cup of tea. I added on a salad to get some sort of vegetable as there aren't many other options for vegetables on the menu. We loved our meal even if we spent a bit much.
